  1. I thought this team was kinda cool and I think the rayogre archetype is really strong and it did do well in the ic so I thought I would do a half rmt/report on it. It got [top 8](https://imgur.com/a/JswB7) in the usa and 45 in the world with 27w/9losses which I guess is ok. I wish the team has a pc finish or something though but I don't have pcs near me :(. It did get me 10? cp which is the about the same amount of cp as a top cut pc finish. I think the rayogre archetype is really strong because it has a terrific match up Primal mega xernkhanartist bravemence as you have two weathers to shuffle and beat primal groudon with water moves and rayquaza's attacks+kyogres attacks are just really strong.

  5. Grima (Rayquaza) @ Focus Sash
  6. Ability: Air Lock
  7. Shiny: Yes
  8. EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
  9. Jolly Nature
  10. - Dragon Ascent
  11. - Extreme Speed
  12. - Swords Dance
  13. - Protect
  14.
  15. Max attack and speed sash rayquaza. I think sash is really good on rayquaza because it allows you to survive moves like boosted xerneas or salamance and follow up with a dragon ascent+extreme speed and to you don't have to worry about defense drops which are annoying. Dragon ascent is pretty obvious as you need it mega evolve and it's rayquazas best stab move. Extreme speed is really strong priority to finish off weakened opponents and as a bonus it is the same priority as follow me, so as long as the opponent is not under tailwind or some other speed control, I can hit their partner. I have swords dance as the last move because I do like set up pokemon, and s +2 rayquaza can ohko a lot of super bulky pokemon like 4hp primal groudon, ferrothorn, and even cresselia some of the time. Amoonguss is great support to rayquaza as amoonguss can redirect while rayquaza sets up and gets a few hits off. Overheat would be nice to ohko ferrothorn and mawile, but I have found the set up opportunities good enough to warrent being a bit weak to these pokemon. I do use sd about 30-40% of games so its not like Im using it 5% of the time. The nickname is from a dragon in fire emblem , who you ride on the back of in the final fight and the area of the fight has very fast wind, kinda like delta stream's animation so the name stuck.

  19. Amoonguss @ Mental Herb
  20. Ability: Regenerator
  21. Shiny: Yes
  22. EVs: 236 HP / 252 Def / 20 SpD
  23. Relaxed Nature
  24. IVs: 0 Spe
  25. - Giga Drain
  26. - Protect
  27. - Rage Powder
  28. - Spore
  29.
  30. Amoonguss, the fat mushroom who totally isn't a pokeball. Amoonguss is obviously on the team to do amoonguss stuff like redirection and to spore everything to death. The ev spread is simple, the hp is just a regen number while the rest goes into the defense and the hp evs taken out into the special defense. I don't think much special defense is needed because most things that hit you specially like xerneas's attacks are resisted hits and some weaker super effective attacks like kyogres ice beam don't ko anyways. Strong super effective attacks like eruption will ko anyways unless you have a occa berry. Mental herb in on amoonguss to troll taunt users like crobat, liepard, ect to allow more spores or another rage powder. Giga drain is nice over grass knot because it give amoonguss extra recovery. Amoonguss is picked over something like togekiss because it helps a lot against trick room, xerneas, pogre and it can spore. Spore is really good if you haven't gotten the point yet.

  32. Hydrus (Kyogre) @ Blue Orb
  33. Ability: Drizzle
  34. Shiny: Yes
  35. EVs: 4 HP / 196 Def / 52 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  36. Timid Nature
  37. - Water Spout
  38. - Ice Beam
  39. - Origin Pulse
  40. - Protect
  41.
  42. A really bulky primal kyogre. It survives an adamant kangaskhan's double edge and a life orb rayquaza's dragon ascent 7/8 times. You can actually survive the kangaskhan's attack with only 196 defense evs but by taking 8 evs out of the special attack and putting them into the hp and special defense, you get 2 stat points intead of 1, and as an added bonus you get a 7/8 roll for rayquaza intead of 13/16 so you can hit back with an ice beam. Even with only 52 special attack, you still hit like a truck with rain boosted moves. Water spout hits like a truck, origin pulse is nice spread stab to use after you are under 75% health and ice beam is nice coverage to hit salamance and rayquaza especially since I can survive either one of their moves.

  46. Lon'qu (Aegislash) @ Life Orb
  47. Ability: Stance Change
  48. Shiny: Yes
  49. EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def / 12 SpD / 124 Spe
  50. Adamant Nature
  51. - Iron Head
  52. - Shadow Sneak
  53. - Substitute
  54. - King's Shield
  55.
  56. A physical life orb aegislash. It is life orb to get the ko on xerneas after a geomancy boost, which flash cannon can't do, and since xerneas will survive an unboosted iron head/flash cannon anyways. Shadow sneak is nice priority as combined with one of my primal's moves can ohko a lot of pokemon, and since shadow claw isn't really that good. Sub is nice because it allows aegislash to avoid sucker punches and it allows it to attack consecutive moves easier as you will be behind a sub instead of blade form. Sub is also just really good on a steel type. Wide guard is a nice move on aegislash, but on this team I have easy ways to beat primal groudon and xerneas, two big spread users pretty easily so sub is nice. The ev spread is max attack to hit as hard as possible, it reaches 96 speed so I can outspeed fast mawile who try to outspeed m-salamance by 1 under tailwind so I can shadow sneak to avoid a sucker punch, and to give aegislash some speed so its easier to use under tailwind. The hp is a life orb number with the rest into the defenses. Aegislash is picked over another steel like ferrothorn because aegislash can be used under tailwind to more effect than ferrothorn as it has some speed. The name is from a cool fire emblem character who is a strong swords man.
  57.
  58. Crobat @ Lum Berry
  59. Ability: Inner Focus
  60. Shiny: Yes
  61. EVs: 36 HP / 220 Def / 252 Spe
  62. Timid Nature
  63. IVs: 0 Atk
  64. - Taunt
  65. - Super Fang
  66. - Tailwind
  67. - Quick Guard
  68.
  69.
  70. Pretty much standard crobat. It's max speed and the remaining hp and defense will allow crobat to survive jolly kangaskhan 98.4% of the time. 36/252 or somethign is often used to survive the attack 100% of the time but I feel like the max speed is important to avoid getting taunted by other crobats. Lum berry is on crobat to taunt scarf smeargle safely. Standard crobat moves to set up tailwind and taunt stuff like xerneas. Crobat is selected over other tailwind users for its speed and ability to help against xerneas and smeargle. Inner focus is also really nice to be able to get a tailwind off first turn most of the time.
  71.
  72. Flinchstones (Landorus-Therian) @ Assault Vest
  73. Ability: Intimidate
  74. Shiny: Yes
  75. EVs: 60 HP / 196 Atk / 252 Spe
  76. Jolly Nature
  77. - Earthquake
  78. - Stone Edge
  79. - Explosion
  80. - Superpower
  81.
  82. Landorus is the last member added. It's only real reason for being on the team is to have a secondary way to beat primal groudon without having to rely on kyogre or rayquaza. This really wouldnt be a problem if it weren't for the fact that pdon just absolutely craps on the team except for those two and maybe crobat. The assualt vest is picked over another item like life orb special or choice band to allow survival from attacks like a +2 dazzling gleam(even moonblast if I get really lucky) or eruption which happens often. The evs will always 2hko 4hp pdon, max speed to outspeed the pdon and reduce eruption damage with the rest into the hp for general bulk. Earthquake is obvious stab, stone edge to ohko talonflame and ho oh, super power to allow some damage to be done to ferrothorn and kangaskhan with explosion as the last move to do alot of spread damage. I swear it's ok. Besides that, the other options for landorus are u-turn or knock off. I don't think u-turn is that good since it's less risky to actually switch as you can be faked out, u turn into a protect, take a crit, ect so I'd rather not take those small chances and just switch. Knock off is good, and you should use it on landorus but explosion is also better on this team to put pokemon into range for one of the few priority attacks, and to remove landorus easily if needed if it isn't doing much damage and I want a free switch. The name is ironic since I don't have rock slide.

  85. The enemies list.
  86.
  87. Ferrothorn- The biggest thread to the team. The only ways I have to actually ko it are getting rayquaza to +2, super fang+super power, maybe super fang+pgore but otherwise I have to pretty much hope it doesn't do too much damage to my team during the battle if I can intimidate it or wear it down since its slow. Those options are limited if the opponent is under trick room as my normal answer to trick room, amoonguss is completely useless to ferrothorn due to its typing.
  88.
  89. Primal kyogre-Just a bit less of a threat as ferrothorn but still a bit annoying to deal with. Ussually a dragon ascent will put it into range for any other attack, am
