Seven's Secret Thoughts (please don't read)

It has been an interesting experience the one I have had since I first stepped into this new place. The Pokemon Citadel, where humans and Pokemon live in harmony and as equals. That catchphrase kind of bothers me, but is something that I hope will see become true.

I'm Seven, yes, Seven is my name. Why is that my name? I changed it, can't even remember the real one. Why that name? Let's say I was still a young and stupid teen who based his new name from a rock band. It stuck though, and now I like it. My sister's real name is actually Six, also, so is kind of a weird coincidence. I think it makes sense, we're twins after all.

Why am I writing this diary of sorts? Is the first time I actually do something this personal. My other works are journals and recordings from my adventures and explorations, is more of a formal job. Today, I felt I needed a place where I could just let everything I have locked in me out, and the written word sure helps to draw some inspiration.

What do I do? I'm a Pokemon Trainer, a veteran, trying to be as modest as possible. I have battled and won several circuits and leagues, have beaten five Pokemon League Gym Leader challenges and have become champion a few times, position I usually decline. My place is outside, in the wilderness, exploring and learning. My goals, to become the strongest trainer in the world and to explore every inch of this beautiful planet. My current job, though, is being a professor. No, not like good respected Rowan, but a professor in a school, more specifically the Bellum Academy here in the Citadel, I'm in charge of the Dept. of Exploration classes. How did I get the job? Let's just say I have contacts. After all, I'm not doing it for the money (even if I think I should start winning some, my savings die fast when taking care of almost 50 Pokemon), but to teach people the joy of exploring and the wonders of our world. And maybe to meet girls.

My hobby? Mythology, searching, meeting and recording information about Legendary and rare Pokemon. I have several books writtn by me about my explorations and findings about (as far as I know) every Legendary Pokemon in the world, some more complete, others lacking a lot of imformation. And no, I haven't captured one of them. They're Legends for a reason, they come and go, they're incredibly strong, but most important, I've learned they maintain a balance in our world that must not be altered. That's why I had a job of guard in the Snowpoint City Temple, the mighty Regigigas sleeping there must not be bothered.

My stay in the Citadel has been interesting, I can at least put it that kindly. The island is huge and even if I have already explored the whole place, I know there are still hidden caves under the whole ground, waiting to be explored. In fact, I found one a few days ago, but it was well protected by Golbat. I'm afraid of Golbat, terrified even, and that day they attacked me and my Weavile in numbers. The next day, I couldn't leave my bed, I was badly poisoned. Why am I afraid of them? One attacked me when I was little while I was protecting a Sneasel. It bit me without mercy. Their fangs cause true pain, their poison kills you slowly and if they bite you, they won't let go unless you hit them with a Super Effective attack. I'm trying to beat that fear, it feels wrong to be afraid of a Pokemon, and even more wrong because I own a Crobat.

The people I have met are few, but all of them lovely. My first friend is the weirdest one. She's a girl with a huge fungi hat on her head. She lives in a swamp and only talks after eating meat. She's so kind, though, but I haven't seen her in days. There's this short haired girl, Jane is her name, probably my type, she's a tomboy and she looks like a very cheerful girl, but let's say she has weird tastes in clothing. She also thought I was a stalker. I only did it once, she was wearing a dancing outfit in the forest while practicing with an Aggron, she looked very cute but two guys appeared and ruined her practice. I'm glad she never saw me. There's this kind of manly girl called Sal, she ran naked around the campus and I had to chase her around because some girls said she was a stalker, then when I caught her, she tried to blame me of entering into a girl's room. Managed to win against her lie, that, with another lie. I told her there were cameras in the Academy. There are, but not too many. Something I actually should report to the principal.

Then there's Molly, kind of a rich girl, I think. One would think she'd be a spoiled brat, but she looks more like a misguided girl. She has to learn a lot about the outside world but I can see she's good of heart. And to stop depending on people doing things for her, maybe a few days camping will do her good, I hope she joins my class. Finally there's this guy, Jamen, kind of a normal guy, not much to say, potential trainer and his Vulpix is one cute girl, but he really needs to learn more about raising Pokemon. He has potential, I can say that, at least.

I hope they think well of me, I really want to be friends, I fear they will see me more as only a professor, I hope that's not the case.
