  1. Report #1354
  2. Skillset: Loralaria Skill: Convergence
  3. Guild: Symphonium Status: Draft
  4.
  5. Problem: Tiredness, like hunger and drunkenness attrition, is an incredibly unfun mechanic. You are unable to prevent it, and while you can take steps to lessen the effects, it is unavaoidable. With the overhaul, I'm hoping to migrate away from Loralarists being focused on making people tired and capitalising on that, and focusing on another kill method. Being tired has strong effects on someone's subsequent healing (especially with the new changes to Dreamweaving), usually with disastrous results, so the focus will be towards that end. The following are intended to work together in concert to replace the reliance on the sleep-chance that Loralaria combat currently revolves around, into utilising it as a finisher ability.
  6.
  7. Solution #1: Remove CrimsonCourante effect. Instead, replace it with an effect that causes any hearing enemy's sleep loss to be 150% of normal.
  8. Solution #2: Change Skysforszando with the following - change the aeon to increase with the amount of tiredness the target is currently experiencing. In addition to the direct damage and aeon, the skill now afflicts with one of the following per tiredness level, choosing from sensitivity, stupidity, recklessness, and paranoia. This should choose afflictions the target does not currently have.
  9. Solution #3: Change Convergence to be a 5 power skill that requires the target to be hearing and channeled for 3 seconds - should the target be sleeping as well, they will be killed at the culmination. If the target is awake, have convergence cause aeon and an ego drain (10% of max + 300).
