  104. How to reroll: A text guide
  105.
  106. First of all, have a set goal in mind before you start rerolling. Take a look at the japanese wikis linked above or ask around in the thread for any current events/collabs that you should be rerolling for.
  107.
  108. To clear data in shironeko just clear cache/data. You can also use Titanium Backup for easy rerolling or delete things in the sharedprefs folder if rooted.
  109.
  110. Start the tutorial, pay attention at how to do things so you can breeze through the tutorial when you have to do this a million times for the girl you want.
  111.
  112. You get one gem for every crown completed and one extra for completing all crowns. So remember to defeat all enemies, open all treasure chests and don't get defeated. For a more complete translation of crowns and achievements, refer to the "Mission clear" conditions pastebin above.
  113.
  114. Your first rolls aren't fixed and you can roll a 4* out of those but its not worth it to reroll after the first roll.
  115.
  116. You want to stop after you get to 3-1 or after you unlock Co-op. Co-op is a shield icon in the bottom bar to the left of the gacha icon that you clicked to do your first roll.
  117.
  118. Hop in Co-op and select the 4p Co-op banner at the top. Start with the easiest one and work your way down.
  119. When you reach the last stage in 1-star coop you want to stop there and keep repeating that one for gems.
  120.
  121. The way it works is that you'll be getting 10 gems for every new person you co-op with to a maximum of 400? gems so it should be enough for one 10-roll and a half.
  122.
  123. You can save up for one 10-roll and reroll if you don't like it or keep going for a 2nd one if you want.
  124.
  125. Another source of gems would be to continue the story and finish the first island. After you finish the first island and do a few tutorials related to your town, you'll find yourself at a new island with a blimp that says EVENT. Click this thing and do all the Gift missions you can find here for easy free gems that you will be using to reroll.
  126.
  127. After you have repeated this process enough times and are satisfied with your pull, refer to the image guide linked above on how to register your account and make sure to remember this information. It helps if you bind your account to a real email and not a fake email because it'll be easier to remember this way. Now every time you want to change devices or have to reinstall the app and lose your data then all you have to do is log in with your username and password to retrieve your account. The register process only needs to be done once.
  128.
  129. Introduction to the game
  130.
  131. The rerolling process is really important in this game so please don't skip it unless you're some sort of masochist that wants to struggle with every stage. Starting the game with one strong character makes everything easier so its heavily recommended to start with a Memorial character or a character on the same level of power as a Memorial character like Chaguma 2016 Tsukimi.
  132.
  133. Shironeko works on a revolving gacha model. Characters that go outside the gacha wont come back on the same class but the characters themselves might come back in the future. Memorial characters often have really high chances of making a comeback of some kind months after their release so if it was from a past gacha then they're gone forever. The game is really generous when it comes to giving away currency with one or three present quests being up at almost all times so you'll easily be able to make around 1000 - 2000 gems a month and have enough to roll every gacha if you manage your gems well instead of tossing them at everything.
  134.
  135. One of the main selling points of the game is that you can use real time co-op on almost every stage in the game with a friend or with a random person. For story stages, you need to choose the co-op button when selecting a helper (The circle with the blue/red icon) and give the code to the person you want to play the game with. The person assisting you in the quest can bring whatever and wont affect your mission clear conditions so you can use this to easily get mission achievements that you wouldn't be able to complete otherwise. For example, if a mission requires you to complete it with all hero units then you can go in as a Hero unit and have a friend go in as something else that can easily clear and complete the stage. When the stage is cleared, you will receive the crown for clearing it as a Hero unit even though it was your helper that did all the work without the Hero-only restriction.
  136. Be warned that the helper does not count towards mission clear achievements but is affected by entry conditions. If a mission has "Archers only" as a entry condition then you and your helper must be on an Archer class to start the quest.
  137.
  138. The events can last from a week to over a month so you have plenty of time to play them and complete them. There is no stamina in this game meaning that you can play anytime you want and you can play all day if you wish. The gameplay of this game is an action game, you control your character and there is no RNG involved in the battles. If you tell your character to move forward then he/she will move forward and if you tell him/her to attack then he will attack that enemy. You can use flick to execute a dodge roll but some classes (Dragon riders) cant roll but can dash. You have three active skills on every character and several passive skills/leader skills. The active skills are used with a tap-and-hold to bring up the skill menu. The skill on the left is commonly referred to as S1 or "Skill 1" and the one on the right is your S2 or "Skill 2". This second skill is unlocked by leveling your character while S1 is available from the start on every character . The third skill is located on the bottom and this skill comes from the weapon and not the character so you need a weapon with a skill to see this one.
  139.
  140. The game also includes a town building feature. You have your own island with two workers and constructing buildings in this island will give your characters some boosts depending on what you built. You require various materials to level the building and time that can go from seconds to hours to days. You can get up to five workers by buying them with gems and yes they're worth it if you can spare the gems. You can also get special event buildings from events and event buildings will require special event runes to level them. These special runes can only be obtained while the event stage is around so try to gather all the materials to level the building while the event is around. You can unlock more space in your island by leveling your Town center and you can unlock the town underground after completing the 10th story island.
  141.
  142. All story islands have a Normal and a hard mode. Fully clearing a mode will award you with a weapon. These weapons are normally useless or only good if you really have nothing else but its worth noting that if you reset story mode and still have the weapons on hand, you will receive 10 gems instead of a dupe weapon. Currently, Story can only be reset ONCE when you reach 100 log ins so make sure to 100% complete everything and don't waste your only reset.
  143.
  144. Other things that get reset regularly by the staff are the co-op gem rewards, the first meeting gem rewards (The gems you used to reroll), Mutual follower gems and the Rune/Gold/Soul dailies clear rewards. If they are resetting these then they will announce before doing it and give you a few days to claim your rewards if you haven't. Mutual follower rewards go up to 20 followers and you will get 10 gems for each mutual follower you play a co-op stage with.
  145.
  146. The game also has a separate co-op mode that you will be using to reroll for your character and to farm event runes. Normal 4p and 2p co-op can be done any time and award gems after a clear so don't forget to clear these. Below these two there's the event co-ops, usually the best place to farm event runes with your friends or random people. When farming things in co-op, there is a follower bonus where you will get more rewards for every follower in the room so try to co-op with mutual followers for a better farming experience.
  147.
  148. For how to level your character, you will require various runes of every color to level him/her. Characters gain levels, stats and skills by spending runes on the soul board. Getting these runes can be kind of tough in the very early stages of the game if there's no easy way to farm them so have patience. Your character will be stopped at level 80 and you wont be able to take them to 100 if they're not at 280 affection. Luckily, we have scrolls that boost affection gain, drop rate, souls and gold obtained from a mission. You can also buy 2x, 3x and 5x books with gems but note that books and scrolls do NOT stack. The difference with books is that they apply to everything at once instead of only one thing like with scrolls. Buying books to get some last minute farming in or to speed up your farming and get it done quickly is perfectly worth it but try to not go crazy with these. Note that the 5x book only lasts 30 minutes so buy a 3x for longer farming sessions.
  149.
  150. After your character is at 280 affection, watch all their events at the town and on the last event they will ask for some materials to take them to 5*. Press OK and you will unlock a new illustration and all the locked nodes on the rune board so you can take your character to 100. Once you have your first maxed out character, everything becomes a lot easier and maxing out future characters will be a lot easier because now you have a good character to farm them.
  151.
  152. Good buildings to focus early on are the Inn and the restaurant. These two will increase the amount of affection you get for doing a stage and your party cost. Don't forget to complete all event buildings and farm the runes necessary to max them out because you never know when you're going to need them later on.
