  1. Me: Okay, you need to learn how to write card text, because what I see in the card info thing is just atrocious. There are some similarities to how cards are written, but there's also a ton of stuff that does not resemble a real card in the slightest. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
  2.
  3.
  4. Crovello: Okay, that's a new one.
  5.
  6. I don't see how I can duplicate card text on fanfic, seeing as I can't add pictures, even if I could recreate the cards. What's the problem with how I do it, specifically?
  7.
  8.
  9. Me: Okay, first, is there a specific reason you're not using PSCT, or do you just not have a firm grasp of it?
  10.
  11.
  12. Crovello: What is PSCT?
  13.
  14.
  15. Me: It's the system the TCG uses to structure card text.
  16.
  17.
  18. Crovello: Let me get this straight, you want me to use official TCG format for a fanfic?
  19.
  20. Gotta admit, I've heard a LOT of odd criticisms about my work, including the one where the Shadowchasers' methods of arrest, trial and incarceration border on racism (where on most worlds, snake men who prey on humans and war mongering orcs don't even GET trials) and why duelists never "netdeck" in a world where the YGO game uses Solid Vision technology to create "hard light" (it ISN'T "just a game, geniuses, and it never has been) but using TCG format for fanmade cards?
  21.
  22. I've never hard THAT one before.
  23.
  24.
  25. Me: Yeah, I don't think I would hard that either.
  26.
  27. Come to think of it, you use a TCG banlist for written Duels. You have no valid reason to write cards incorrectly.
  28.
  29. Ooh, perhaps if you start writing your cards correctly, you can avoid disputes like the one that ultimately snowballed into you getting banned from TV Tropes! Wouldn't that be wonderful?
  30.
  31.
  32. Crovello: Why is that any of your business?
  33.
  34.
  35. Me: What, your laziness or your ban from TV Tropes?
  36.
  37.
  38. Crovello: I'm not lazy, and the thing with Tropes is none of your business. Who are you?
  39.
  40.
  41. Me: Why is that any of your business?
  42.
  43.
  44. Crovello: I'll be honest, I don't want any trouble with the Nerf Guy or Man Called True again, and I'm pretty certain they're trying to bait me as both have done quite a few rather juvenile things on Tropes since I was kicked off just to spite me. (Well, Nerf Guy has, True was kicked off.)
  45.
  46. Nerf Guy claimed I was a plagiarist on the Shadowchasers main page. Someone posted an old copy of the Shadowchasers Writers Guidelines on Darth Wiki without my permission, and I've had no luck convincing them to remove it. Nerf Guy has yet to give up the silly grudge he's had for years now, over my refusal to change a chapter over my fanmade card, going so far as to include it on a Dethroning Moment of Suck.
  47.
  48. And the word "lazy" kind of reminds me of the original argument.
  49.
  50. Now, I had NO idea there was EVER an agreed upon format for displaying fanmade cards, and I find this complaint absurd. I will not argue, I will simply ask politely, stop bothering me about it.
  51.
  52.
  53. Me: Okay.
  54.
  55.
  56. Metal Overlord 2.0: You know, I am sure Cyber Commander might take your so called feedback more seriously if A) You had actually written anything of your own to use as an example of how you would supposedly do better, and B) Find a more intelligent term for the custom card list then 'card info thing'. As it stands it makes you look petty at BEST.
  57.
  58.
  59. Me: *than
