Bio:
-Born in Vernin, Van was raised with the same drive as his countrymen and joined the army, though he later left when he grew sick of the endless fighting for expansionism.
-Van turned to banditry, though it quickly ended when he tried to mug a master of the Albert Style and was given a second lease on life and taken under the master's wing.
-To complete his training Van must travel the world and witness it for what it truly is while practicing his martial arts. He has just recently begun his journey.

Beliefs:
-The way of the fist is the true path of a warrior as it relies entirely on one's own strength.
-Weapons should not exist; all they can be used for is harming others.
-Everyone deserves to be offered a second chance; unless, that is, they have committed atrocities and show no remorse for their actions.

Goals:
-To learn as much as he can while honing his martial arts and completing his trek around the world; he still has much to learn after all.
