#tuppers is the democratic tupper channel! We have free speech, democracy, farts, horns, bulges and our very own dead Minecraft and Terraria servers! We talk about everything and the topic is not restricted, but still are a tupper channel at heart. Don't like someone? Follow my imaginary friend's advice: ignore the bad, focus on the good, and stay calm. Or call them a dick, you could do that.


We have only two rules, which have been proposed and passed by our members.

1. Don't spam. Pretty obvious rule. Spammers are kicked immediately and banned if they continue. No one likes spammers. It's spam if you keep repeating a series of messages with very similar format so often that it obstructs others' ability to converse. | Passed by Fede-lasse when he made the channel ok, and the rest agree.

2. Don't use badges (e.g. Name[TupperName]). If you spread the cancer of badgewhoring in here, we'll kindly ask you to remove the badges. No worries there. If you don't, though, we'll kick you with a warning message telling you to remove the badges before you enter again. If you still refuse to comply with our wishes, we'll ban you. | Passed by Sands, Avalanche, and Fede-lasse.


About votebot:

Being a democratic channel, we vote and have a votebot to do the simple dirty work for us, handling kicks, bans and unbans. Type "!votehelp" without the quotes for more information about how the voting system works and how to use the bot. The bot also follows our rules and kicks when it detects spamming or badges. It can't detect all the badges and it can't say if it is a badge or not, so sometimes it will detect false positives and we're sorry for the inconvenience. If there is something votebot can't handle, you are allowed to make your own votes without it. You would need to tally the votes yourself and tell the results to either Sands or waffles in case Sands can't be contacted, if your vote requires mods to put it in motion. For personal votes which votebot can't handle, we came to a mutual agreement that at least 3 people should vote and that the vote stays open for 5 minutes after the last vote. In case the bot breaks, tell waffles about it.

If you have been permabanned, you are allowed to start your own vote to get unbanned from #tuppers. Just tell a person (Sands is a good pick) in the channel to say you would like to have a vote and it will be arranged.

We have a vanilla Minecraft server running, with the IP specified above. There are no specific rules, other than the etiquette that says "Don't steal or build in others' places." People are voted in. If you want to join the Minecraft server, consult Fede (or Sands so he can consult Fede for whitelisting) or one of its resident players in #tuppers so a vote can be held. The following more or less resident people are in the server, IRC name first and game name second:

----- Terraria Server ----- Not hosted at the moment, but with enough interest, we can put it back up again

We also have a Terraria server hosted occasionally. Like with the Minecraft server, the etiquette of "Don't steal or build in others' places." applies here as well. People are voted in. If you want to join the Terraria server, consult whoever happens to be hosting the server. A single rule (passed by Sands, Fede-lasse, Avalanche, Averian, and waffles) is that only the host may give out the password, to prevent leakage. That is not to say that we don't trust each other, but this is just a safety precaution. The following more or less resident people are in the server:
