  19. Every single member of C.O.G is expected to have and required to act in a mature manner, no matter the rank. These guidelines are directed to every single member of the group.

  21. ➤ Representing C.O.G
  22. •It is crucial to make sure to portray and to represent C.O.G in a respectful manner.
  23. •All members of C.O.G will be held responsible for their actions and representation of C.O.G everywhere inside of the group.

  25. ➤ Poorly portraying C.O.G is shown as:
  26. •Harassing or being disrespectful to other members of C.O.G either in-games, on the wall, or in forums.
  27. •Acting out of requirement to rules in any events related to C.O.G.
  28. •Taking part in arguments or conflict with any other member of C.O.G that involve the group while representing C.O.G

  30. If you would like to do something without representing C.O.G then proceed the following steps:
  31. •Take off the C.O.G uniform.
  32. •Stay away from using C.O.G related signatures on forums or games.
  33. •Avoid the use of mentioning C.O.G in any negative way.

  35. Proceeding to follow the instructions above will ensure that you can do whatever you wish without representing C.O.G in any kind of controversial way.

  39. II. Lieutenant Colonels and High Ranks.

  43. Lieutenant Colonels and Council of Sovereigns members are the High Ranks of C.O.G. Therefore, they are expected to resolve conflicts throughout the group and apply the proper punishment described accordingly. They are the eyes and ears of the Director of Justice. With this system, members of C.O.S can handle the complaints given and distribute consequences whenever one is needed. As agents of the department, Lieutenant Colonels and expected to apply this policy without many problems. Punishments will be handed out to those who seem to be in direct violation of this policy.

  47. III. Duties of a Lieutenant Colonel

  51. As the duties of a Lieutenant Colonel have already been briefly told this passage will have more insight as to what the duties of a Lieutenant Colonel are.

  53. ➤ Handling Punishments
  54. •Punishments should be executed by the following procedures described in this section, but are not excluded from following them.
  55. All punishment can be overturned by the Director of Justice, a Vice Commander, or the Commander.

  57. ➤ Resolving Conflicts
  58. •All C.O.S conflicts will be resolved by a Vice Commander or the Commander
  59. •All Lieutenant Colonel conflicts will be resolved by C.O.S
  60. •Any sub-lieutenant colonel conflict can be resolved by a Lieutenant Colonel or the C.O.S. Lieutenant Colonels are required to inform •Members of the C.O.G if the situation requires anything beyond just a warning.
  61. •In the rare case of a serious conflict, the Director of Justice should be contacted to assist in the handling it.

  66. IV. Infraction and Punishments

  71. Every punishment is stated with a suggested way of handling it. The consequences will range from ones listed to anything created by the appropriate rank. All offences must be handled within a reasonable amount of time after the time of the occurrence. Punishments should be fair regarding the situation at hand.

  76. ➤ Wall Offense
  77. •Wall Offense is described as spam, flame, arguments, inappropriate links, or offensive things towards specific people.
  78. •Wall Offenses should be handled by deletion of the post, or if serious enough, warning, suspension or possibly even demotion.

  80. ➤ Event Offense
  81. •Event offense is described as being rude/disrespecting the superior, not following orders, or not wearing the proper uniform. This offense can however be upgraded if the offense is more serious such as exploiting the event.
  82. •Event offenses should be handled by kicking or banning the occupant from the event, if serious enough, warning, or even suspension or demotion.

  84. ➤ Forum Offense
  85. •Forum Offense is described as flaming, needless arguing, or being offensive towards a specific thing or person. This offense can be upgraded depending on the seriousness of it.
  86. •Forum Offense should be handled by a warning.

  88. ➤ Insubordination
  89. •Insubordination is described as the act of being disrespectful, or disobedient towards: the Commander, Vice Commander, any C.O.S member, or a Lieutenant Colonel.
  90. •Insubordination may be handled by punishments such as kicking to blacklisting.

  92. ➤ Obstruction
  93. •Obstruction is described as the act of preventing or hindering the authority figure of the clan itself.
  94. •Obstruction may be handled from anything to kicking to blacklisting.

  96. ➤ Bullying or Flaming
  97. •Bullying or Flaming anywhere is not tolerated if you are a member of C.O.G. This is described as targeting a person with insults or any kind of harm, or releasing information about the person without their permission.
  98. •Bullying or Flaming should be handled by appropriate punishments such as a warning, suspension or a demotion.

  100. ➤ Treason
  101. •Treason is described as any act resulting in the harm of the entire group, C.O.S or possibly even the commander. This includes leaking of information, or betraying the group during war.
  102. •Treason is punishable by demotion or even blacklisting.

  105. ➤ Inactivity
  106. •Inactivity is described as a period of time where was a member of the group is no longer doing anything productive towards their role in the group.
  107. •This applies to C.O.S members and Lieutenant Colonels.
  108. •Inactivity can be punished by a warning, suspension or demotion, if not given notification of inactivity.

  110. ➤ Negligence
  111. •Negligence is described as the failure of a rank of authority to act according to the regulations of the group, or report the offense to another rank of authority who could properly handle the situation.
  112. •Negligence is punishable by a warning, suspension, or even demotion.

  114. ➤ Violation of Authority
  115. •Violation of Authority is described as acting outside of the limits set of one’s powers.
  116. •Violation of Authority is punishable by a warning, suspension, or demotion.

  118. ➤ Leaking of Information
  119. •Leaking of Information is described as when a member of the group reveals information to unauthorized parties, such as when a Lieutenant Colonel+ releases classified information such a department meeting or information to anybody who should not have access to the information.
  120. •Leaking of Information can be punished by suspension, demotion, or even blacklisting.

  122. ➤ Admin Abuse
  123. •Admin Abuse is described as the use of administrative tools, such as group admin, that harms any individual, or a whole group of individuals or disrupts a policy at a certain event.
  124. •Admin Abuse, depending on the severity, can be punished by a warning, suspension, or demotion.

  126. ➤ Corruption
  127. •Corruption is described as any C.O.S member, Lieutenant Colonel or any other authoritative misconduct to such an extent that is poorly affects the other members of C.O.G. This includes, abuse of power, admin abuse, abusing privileges, blackmailing, or betraying the policies of C.O.G. Including encouraging anyone to do any of the above. Corruption is also classified as treason against the group. Corruption is the most critical offense against C.O.G.

  134. V. Promotions.

  138. Promotions are a way to rank up inside of C.O.G, promotions are not to be given out freely to any of your friends. Promotions are earned most commonly by attending trainings and exceeding the host’s expectations. Everyone is the same in the group, everybody follows the exact same rules and regulations. If you attend a training and are rewarded with a promotion, and do not end up receiving the promotion in the group. Do not complain and post on the wall on how you did not receive your promotion. Screenshot it, and send it to a HR as proof and they will make sure you get the promotion you earned.
