  1. >"Oh man, oh god. I made it to the school gate" An exasperated Sabrina says, quite surprised.
  2. >Behind her was a maelstrom of destruction.
  3. >There was a giant donut rolling down Creek Bldv, a manticore guarding the skies over the mall, and for some reason a mini sun and moon were fighting above a greenland.
  4. >Somehow all of this managed to miss her, entirely. "This must be my lucky day!" The danger prone girl cheers.
  5. >A well known boy of Spanish decedent garbed in his signature red hoodie flips in front of our girl, startling her.
  6. >Sabrina falls, not too hard but quite suddenly, on her rear making a "yelp" sound
  7. >The boy quickly turns and out-streches his arm towards Sabrina. Before he can ask if she's okay, the cheerleader gets a good grip and pulls herself up.
  8. >"Thanks for helping me get up, Marco." The cheerleader happily states. "How'd you get here anyways?"
  9. >With not a moment of hesitation, the boy says one word. "Star" And goes back to brushing some dust off his shoulder.
  10. >Sabrina and Marco start heading towards the doors together.
  11. >The safe boy quickly brings up. "Sorry for startling you like that. Star was a bit more energetic than usual this morning. Did you get hurt anywhere?"
  12. >The danger magnet happily shakes her head no, with her face a bit red.
  13. >It's nice that Marco is so nice. Sabrina thought to herself. But I'm not used to walking along side a boy other than Ed, so I'm probably beet red by now.
  14. >"Her Marco, is my face red?" She asks, a bit nervously. "It's just that I'm not used to walking with a guy. The thought of what other people might think, what would reflect on the squad. I- I- I'm over thinking this, aren't I?"
  15. >Karate boy stops walking and turns towards Sabrina. A quick "eep" emitting from her mouth at the sudden stop. "You are, yeah. But that's fine. We don't really know each other, so if others see us they might assume something." Marco sighs "But people always assume things when they see two people together. It's so annoying."
  16. >Sabrina chuckles. "Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who over thinks these things." As they reach the classroom. "Thanks for keeping me company and helping me up. You and Star are the nicest people."
  17. >"I'll let you go in first so rumours don't start." Marco says.
  18. >Sabrina nods and goes for the homeroom doorknob, but stops as the boy brings up another thing
  19. >"You should really be more confident about yourself. You're one of the most fun cheerleaders to watch. It's not only Star who notices small things about every student. She's just better at it than me. Now get in before I make us anymore late."
  20. >Sabrina nods once more and enters the classroom, not knowing she has the biggest smile. She looks up at the clock and notices there's still 7 minutes before class starts and 2 before the school bus people get in.
  21. >"Marco should be fine" The distracted girl muttered to herself.
  22. >"What's this about Marco?" A blonde girl with a blue highlight asked.
  23. >Sabrina, startled but ready this time, "Oh Marco got here before Star so he wanted to wait for her. Wait how're you here before the bus, Jackie?"
  24. >Jackie pulled out her board. "I rode here, dude."
  25. >An "ah" escaped from Sabrina's mouth and the classroom went back to being silent.
  26. >At least the morning had a rather fun start, the cheerleader thought to herself.
  27.
  28.
  29. >It's time for cheer practice. In which it seems like Sabrina is pumped and ready!
  30. >She's pulling off new techniques without crashing, something that is quite rare for her.
  31. >It seems like Brittney noticed and she's walking over here!
  32. >"Subway, you're doing pretty well today." The cheer captain states.
  33. >Sabrina meekly replies. "It's Sabrina."
  34. >Brittney brushes her own hair to the side. "Yeah, whatever, Stacy. Since you're doing better than normal today. I've decided to teach you a new technique. You ready?"
  35. >A new tech? The meek girl thought. And Brittney is teaching it! This'll be amazing to see.
  36. >She nods her head quite quickly and looks on with stars in her eyes.
  37. >With a loud, annoyed sigh, Brittney speaks up. "Don't ever act that excited. You're a member of my squad. Don't act like some loser. Now watch this."
  38. >The squad captain gets into position and starts her own choreography.
  39. >As always, it's elegant and flows masterfully. Sabrina thought. But it'd be pretty difficult to do all of this.
  40. >Brittney pulled off pirouette after pirouette, not losing her balance or getting dizzy. She was able to leap without using the guys as leverage. One midair split. Now two, three, four. Into another pirouette. And now the finish
  41. >The whole gymnasium filled with clapping, from the teacher in charge to the rest of the spirit squad.
  42. >In a very her way, Brittney responded to her team "WHO SAID YOU WERE ALLOWED TO STOP PRACTICING?!?!"
  43. >All the students quickly got up and ran back to their practice areas.
  44. >With a very annoyed look, the head cheerleader sighed. She turns toward Sabrina and announced "Okay, what I want you to learn was the finish near the end."
  45. >Without a second thought, the danger magnet asks ""Then why did you do the whole routine?"
  46. >With her usual annoyed look, Brittney explained "You think I'm gonna just pose for you? There wouldn't be any energy or effort then. Without the whole procedure, you wouldn't get the point."
  47. >"Oooooooh"
  48. >Ignoring Sabrina's epiphany, the head cheerleader orders "Okay now you do it. You don't need to do the anything but the finish. You've seen me do the rest."
  49. >Without hesitation, Sabrina goes right into the finale and trips up. But not as badly as usual.
  50. >It seems like today was quite a lucky one for out danger prone heronie
