  2. [2014-01-03 23:40:48] <KendallKun> 4 With two dead Authorities on their hooves, as well as their prisoner, the group are working out their next move.
  3. [2014-01-03 23:42:43] * Ginger_Ails watches the others from the second story of their safehouse. He hopes they haven't just ruined the 'safe' part of the title with this little altercation. He eyes this new stallion they were so keen to expose themselves to save.
  4. [2014-01-03 23:44:51] * Fleet_Fortune finishes making her way across the rooftops to where Black_Tea was running. She calls out, "Don't move! Why are you here?"
  5. [2014-01-03 23:50:12] * Black_Tea "I've been on a ship, then I've been in there-" He nods down the street. "and now I'm here."
  6. [2014-01-03 23:50:26] * Black_Tea "Why are you here?"
  7. [2014-01-03 23:52:51] * Fleet_Fortune doesn't answer that. "A ship? What kind of ship? How did you get here?"
  8. [2014-01-03 23:55:36] * Black_Tea "Well, you know about NCR, so I guess you came here the same way I did..."
  9. [2014-01-03 23:55:51] * Ginger_Ails sees they aren't fighting this stallion, perhaps it's time he moved up. He trots down the stairs and makes his way toward the dead ponies. Somepony needs to hide the evidence.
  10. [2014-01-03 23:57:20] * Black_Tea "Long story short: We got attacked, explosions happened, the ship sank, we managed to survive, but got imprisoned, because they thought we were fucking zebras..."
  11. [2014-01-03 23:57:47] * Black_Tea looked towards The unicorn/zebra, "ahhh... figure of speech... no offense"
  12. [2014-01-03 23:58:45] * Ginger_Ails arrives just in time to catch the back end of that, and the apology. His face remains neutral. "None taken." He continues on to the corpses, wanting to get them out of the street and out of sight.
  13. [2014-01-04 00:00:08] * Fleet_Fortune eyes Black_Tea for a few moments. "No offense, but for now, you're a prisoner. We can't take chances, and we need to be sure of your loyalties. Understand?"
  14. [2014-01-04 00:03:32] * Black_Tea "My loyalties are to my people, and as I found some backup, you're going to help me free them
  15. [2014-01-04 00:03:57] * Ginger_Ails drags the dead out of the middle of the street, keeping his eyes open for some place to stash them. He starts levitating their possessions out in a cloud around him.
  16. [2014-01-04 00:07:51] * Black_Tea still has his weapon raised at them
  17. [2014-01-04 00:07:53] <KendallKun> 4 It becomes apparent to Ginger_Ails that the numerous shacks, from which there has been no noise since they've been in the district, are probably abandoned and that hiding the bodies inside would be easier than finding somewhere else
  18. [2014-01-04 00:09:27] * Ginger_Ails strips them of their equipment, holding it in his magic to be sorted through later. He moves to a shack and tucks the corpses inside. He looks around a moment, but doesn't see Iris. He wants her opinion on how likely she thinks it is there gear could be tracked with some kinda gizmo.
  19. [2014-01-04 00:09:49] * Ginger_Ails thinks a tracking gizmo would be something a group going by 'The Authority' would use.
  20. [2014-01-04 00:11:37] * Fleet_Fortune sighs. "I would prefer to do this peacefully, but if you keep resisting, we can use force. Like I said, we need to be sure of your loyalties. Once we know you're not lying, we can talk about your problems."
  21. [2014-01-04 00:12:50] * Black_Tea "What would I lie about?"
  22. [2014-01-04 00:13:02] * Ginger_Ails looks over at the stallion, still waving a weapon, and then to Fleet_Fortune. He frowns. "Care to give me the short version, Fleet? You should lower your weapon, Buddy, it's rude to point."
  23. [2014-01-04 00:15:06] * Black_Tea lowers his weapon. "You got any hoofcuffs?"
  24. [2014-01-04 00:16:09] * Black_Tea "look, one of you shot one of my pursuers in the head, enemy of my enemy and all... We're on the same side here."
  25. [2014-01-04 00:19:38] * Ginger_Ails gives a skeptical look. "The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. I certainly don't know you, or these friends you mention. I'm not seeing why we should risk outselves on a prison break."
  26. [2014-01-04 00:20:28] * Black_Tea frowns. "Okay."
  27. [2014-01-04 00:20:59] * Black_Tea "Give me half their stuff, I killed half of them after all, and I'll be on my way"
  28. [2014-01-04 00:23:55] * Fleet_Fortune shakes her head. "Prisoner. If you still want to leave /after/ we've determined you're safe, then you're welcome to go. But we can't take ANY risks, here. Sorry."
  29. [2014-01-04 00:24:53] * Ginger_Ails gives a nod, splitting the equipment in his magic into two groups. He seemed about to take the deal. He looks back at Fleet_Fortune, with his eyebrow raised. He's obviously missed something.
  30. [2014-01-04 00:26:17] * Black_Tea "You have an numberadvantage over me, I'm the one taking a risk trusting you."
  31. [2014-01-04 00:29:34] * Ginger_Ails scrutinizes the stallion, giving him his first real look over. Something has Fleet on edge. That's when he notices the markings on the well-used armor. He frowns. "Where'd you get the armor?"
  32. [2014-01-04 00:29:48] * Fleet_Fortune shakes her head again. "Sorry. No risks. Even you coming down this street puts us at risk." She glances around for a moment. "We can't sit out here. Move, please. Down the street."
  33. [2014-01-04 00:32:20] * Black_Tea "NCR..?" He says slowly. "Isn't that obvious? A bit paranoia is okay, healthy even. There's nothing stopping you from shooting me right now, so I guess I play nice. That doesn't mean I'm trusting you."
  34. [2014-01-04 00:33:40] * Ginger_Ails takes a step forward, looking him over. He doesn't remember him, but a lot of ponies went through medical and there were plenty of other doctors there doing physicals. "Came in on a ship, yes? Tell me, what was it's name and who was it's captain?"
  35. [2014-01-04 00:35:23] * Black_Tea does as he's asked and tells the zony the ship's and it's captain's name.
  36. [2014-01-04 00:37:16] * Ginger_Ails nods, giving a smile. "I trust him. Not something an interrogator would ask, couldn't know it if he wasn't on the ship. We've certainly not let it out with smalltalk." He starts following Fleet_Fortune, looted equipment levitated beside him. "So, there are more of our survivors on this tub?"
  37. [2014-01-04 00:38:38] * Black_Tea smiles too. "Yes there are, including..." lists a few names.
  38. [2014-01-04 00:41:45] * Fleet_Fortune leads everypony back to the warehouse. She stays stern, because she has to be!
  39. [2014-01-04 00:42:15] * Ginger_Ails blinks at a few of the names as he hears them. "Pilliwinks? That ol' screw, shoulda known he was too mean to sink. Ginger AIls, by the way. Ship's doctor, or one of them at least."
  40. [2014-01-04 00:46:50] * Ginger_Ails keeps an eye on Fleet_Fortune as they follow her back to their safehouse. He doesn't want to fall behind, and he likes the view.
  41. [2014-01-04 00:49:19] * Black_Tea notices Ginger_Ails gaze, gives him a nod, and smile.
  42. [2014-01-04 00:49:46] * Black_Tea "cozy place you have here"
  43. [2014-01-04 00:55:01] * Ginger_Ails gives a nod, slipping in to the safehouse and moving to the corner. "It's been useful." He starts to go through the gear he stripped from the Authority ponies. "Gimme a hoof going through this Fleet_Fortune?"
  44. [2014-01-04 00:57:31] * Fleet_Fortune gives a little sigh and starts to help look through the gear looted from the Authority ponies. "Look, we're in a tight spot here. There's a reason I was being so forceful. Don't take it personally."
  45. [2014-01-04 01:02:36] * Black_Tea "no, as I said, being a little paranoid is only healthy." He looks around their hideout. "My name's Black Tea, by the way, Miss..?" He extents a hoof to the pegasus mare.
  46. [2014-01-04 01:03:21] * Ginger_Ails starts going through one of the uniforms. He's more than happy to let Fleet_Fortune do the talking.
  47. [2014-01-04 01:03:53] * Fleet_Fortune simply says "Fleet."
  48. [2014-01-04 01:06:43] * Black_Tea waves his hoof a little to catch her attention.
  49. [2014-01-04 01:07:11] <KendallKun> 4 After some searching, Fleet_Fortune and Ginger_Ails find that the helmets of the uniforms feature a radio headset as well as some sort of safety feature preventing use. The uniforms are, otherwise, normal though custom fitted for the now dead officers
  50. [2014-01-04 01:07:46] * Fleet_Fortune ignores the hoof. She's busy right now!
  51. [2014-01-04 01:08:33] * Ginger_Ails frowns at the radios. "Could be tracable... Should get Iris to give it a once over... that or we should ditch them and fast."
  52. [2014-01-04 01:09:34] * Black_Tea puts his hoof down, clearly unhappy that the mare had no sense of etiquette. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Fleet."
  53. [2014-01-04 01:10:38] * Black_Tea turns to the zony, "And your name, sir..? I figure you're a doctor?"
  54. [2014-01-04 01:11:54] * Fleet_Fortune thinks for a moment. "We should get Iris to look at them. We could make use of them, if they're safe."
  55. [2014-01-04 01:12:20] * Ginger_Ails nods, repeating himself from the walk here. "Doctor Ginger Ails." He offers a hoof. Not like he's using them for sorting anyway.
  56. [2014-01-04 01:13:34] * Black_Tea "Doctor Ginger Ails." He repeats, taking the offered hoof. "As well, pleasure to meet you."
  57. [2014-01-04 01:23:51] * Ginger_Ails gives Black_Tea's hoof a single firm pump before returning his hoof under him. "Say... Fleet... think we should stash these someplace else until Iris can give them a look? I'm probably just paranoir..."
  58. [2014-01-04 01:25:51] * Black_Tea "we could always smash them"
  59. [2014-01-04 01:27:13] * Fleet_Fortune nods to Ginger_Ails. They may be useful, but if you have an idea where we could stash them, then by all means.
  60. [2014-01-04 01:27:32] <Fleet_Fortune> +" "
  61. [2014-01-04 01:28:57] * Ginger_Ails stands. "I'll go dump them in a shack a block or so down the road." He steps past Fleet_Fortune, letting his tail flick against her. "I'll be right back." He heads out to hide some helmets.
  62. [2014-01-04 01:31:43] <KendallKun> 4 Ginger_Ails finds an open shack for him to dump the helmets in quite quickly.
  63. [2014-01-04 01:32:18] * Ginger_Ails stashes them in the corner, tossing some rubbish on top before heading back to the safehouse.
  64. [2014-01-04 01:34:59] * Black_Tea "So, we go from not trusting me, to be okay with being alone with me
  65. [2014-01-04 01:40:03] * Fleet_Fortune rolls her eyes. "There's more than us two here, you know. We just need to be very careful."
  66. [2014-01-04 01:43:44] * Black_Tea "I'm not making you uncomfortable, do I?
  67. [2014-01-04 01:51:10] <KendallKun> 4 Ginger_Ails makes his way back into the safehouse
  68. [2014-01-04 01:52:08] * Fleet_Fortune smirks. "Hun, I've met ponies who'd make you piss yourself out of sheer terror. I'm not uncomfortable in the /least/."
  69. [2014-01-04 01:53:36] * Ginger_Ails trots over and lays down next to Fleet_Fortune. "Stowed away." He levitates up one of the SMGs, racking the chamber experimentally. "I think I may hold on to one of these..." He levitates 42 9mm rounds over to Fleet, splitting the ammo down the middle.
  70. [2014-01-04 01:54:43] * Fleet_Fortune grins. "Ah! Finally willing to cough some up? Don't think this'll make me go easy on you next game."
  71. [2014-01-04 01:54:53] * Black_Tea "fair enough"
  72. [2014-01-04 01:55:48] * Ginger_Ails smiles to Fleet_Fortune. "Why, Miss Fortune, I've got to make sure you have something to lose to me. Windfall aside, I still expect to be paid for the twenty I gave you before the hubbub."
  73. [2014-01-04 01:58:40] * Black_Tea "so you splitt it between the two of you?"
  74. [2014-01-04 02:00:09] * Ginger_Ails looks at Black_Tea. "I don't see anything that fires 9mm on ya. We use it. As for the rest. We'll hash that out when the others are less distracted.
  75. [2014-01-04 02:03:18] * Black_Tea "Half would include one of the SMGs, but I guess I don't need it anyway."
  76. [2014-01-04 02:06:19] * Ginger_Ails smirks. "I suppose if you want to go back to even splits and you going it alone, we can do that. Otherwise, welcome to the team." He starts fiddling with the strap on his SMG to attach it to the new one.
  77. [2014-01-04 02:11:25] <KendallKun> 4 With new weapons in hoof and a new ally with them, the group will soldier on
  78. [2014-01-04 02:11:30] <KendallKun> 4 Session End
  79. [2014-01-04 02:11:43] <KendallKun> 4 The group earn a nice 400 XP for looking for things
