[15:02:23] Rabtar  our group is still on the wrong side of the river and have retreaded to the small unknown village to recover...
[15:05:07] Spectre` remains asleep until the evening shows its head
[15:06:21] Ragebrew sat there, looking at the village as she sipped on a canteen. "That's fucked, that's fucked, this is fucked, it's all fucked." She stood up and trotted over to the nearest shed. Looking at it for a minute, she slammed into it.
[15:08:17] Ragebrew eventually beat the sheetmetal wall down, collapsing ontop of it with a crash. She looked down and blinked a few times. The sound of hamster wheels turning could be heard. "Elektron! We're makin' a boat!"
[15:09:08] Elektron trots over "We're making a what?"
[15:10:26] Ragebrew stood up and brushed herself off, for all good it did... "A boat. Raft. River faring vessel. We're not gonna find one, we may as well make one." She looked around the town, smiling. "And we got plenty of materials to make it with."
[15:11:48] Ragebrew looked over to Swamp_Shadow "Aye, ya said yer from bayous. Ya know how to make a boat?"
[15:12:34] Elektron taps his chin "It should be possible, but the water seems dangerous, even in small amounts. Any leak could be problematic."
[15:15:00] Ragebrew nodded as she looked around "Then we make sure to layer the raft's floater with some sheet metal to keep water out. We'll use any wood or jugs to keep it float."
[15:17:30] Swamp_Shadow pops out from behind a tree that no one seemed to notice. "I can make one, probably."
[15:18:51] Ragebrew smiled "Alright then. Lets get to salvaging. Elektron, I want ya to scrounge up anything that's airtight. Swamp, I want ya to scrounge up every last inch of rope ya can find. I'm gonna demolish walls and roofs for building material. Sound good?"
[15:19:39] Elektron nods and gets to searching

[15:35:19] Rabtar  the group finds a bunch of shit to build a small raft, wood and metal spars for supports, sheet metal for a floor board and a couple of old oil drums that mite hold...
[15:36:24] Ragebrew pulled out the hoofymare's secret weapon. Where'd she get those red and green suspenders? And proceeded to duct tape the ever living fuck out of the oil barrels. "Elektron, Swamp, but that together while I seal these."
[15:37:26] Elektron nods and pushes on one of the barrels
[15:39:42] Ragebrew looked over the barrels and the two cardboard tubes "I think thats it good. Anyone got any duct tape I could use on these? I'm out."
[15:40:29] <+Ragebrew> "I'll be happy when these things are completely silver end to end."
[15:40:52] Swamp_Shadow looks over everything before grimacing. "This isn't enough. We won't be able to take everyone with us."
[15:43:13] Ragebrew grumbled, looking around "We're out of floaty shit. Unless we can find some more, we ain't gonna get able to carry much more. My kingdom for a proper tree, not these overgrown shrubs..."
[15:43:53] Ragebrew looked to the distant river "We'll carry the raft over, see if we can find anything along the shore that we could use. Not gonna find anything else here. Someone get sleepy mare on the mulebot."
[15:44:38] Swamp_Shadow cocks a mechanical eyebrow. "You have a kingdom?"
[15:45:48] Ragebrew pointed to her hat "Me Ragebrew king."
[15:46:39] Ragebrew blinked. "And... no one here except me knows why..." She sighed and pulled up her ammo cases. "Lets get moving. Want acros that river before nightfall."
[15:46:45] Rabtar  Sarsaparilla is just lounging on the MULE
[15:47:58] Ragebrew looked at the half finished boat. "This is gonna be a long trot..." She moved behind the craft, and started pushing it slowly towards the river.

[15:49:49] Swamp_Shadow looks over at Elektron. "You're the buildy pony. You build the boat, and Ah'll give you pointers."
[15:50:05] Rabtar  after the raft is finished it looks like it can carry everything in one trip afterall....
[15:52:29] Ragebrew smiled, looking at the hulk "Well done, well done indeed. Lets get this show on the road... River... Thing yeah. Get Mule onboard. Lets get going. Might be able to float by something interesting on the way down, since we're going with the current."
[15:56:45] Rabtar  it takes them a few hours to get the boat down to the river, Elektron driving the mostly unladen MULE along side with Sarsaparilla riding along...
[15:56:59] Rabtar  and a sleeping Mercy...
[15:57:34] Ragebrew prodded Spectre with a stick "Oi. Wakey wakey, we're heading out. If ya don't wanna move I can haul ya there."
[15:58:03] Spectre` groans "Where are we going?" he mutters sleepily and gets up
[15:58:11] Swamp_Shadow [[email protected]] has quit (Connection closed).
[15:58:52] <+Ragebrew> "Across and down the river. Where we land is up to the current, but hopefully close to where we started."

[16:01:25] <+Ragebrew> "Yup. Build out of scrap and ducttape." The town was reduced to piles of rubble, many of the walls bearing distinctly Rage shaped holes in them.
[16:02:30] <Spectre`> "Alright. I guess ill fly across. Not htati doubt your construction skills... But i dont want to risk taking another swim"
[16:02:35] Rabtar  they get across the river without incident, ending up a few miles south of Harmony Heights when all is said and done
[16:03:48] <Spectre`> "So... What now?" the batpony asks, landing a short distance away from where the boat arrived on shore
[16:04:12] Ragebrew hopped off the boat. "Delightfully uneventful. Just how I like it. Alright.. Back where we started. First, there's a pony who owes us a fuckton of caps, and who's head I'd like to remove at the clavical. We get Sasp to a proper doctor, and we look around for a proper hospital. We're all sorts of fucked up after that ordeal."
[16:05:05] <Spectre`> "Yeah... Hospital... Right"
[16:06:27] <+Ragebrew> "Or anywhere with a proper medical facility. Figure we could sniff around for any rumors of a Stable. Or we could look around for a REAL alchemist's cookbook and I can see about brewing up everything we need."
[16:06:51] Rabtar  a small anvil falls from the sky and lands on Spectre`s head!
[16:07:24] Ragebrew looks up to the sky. "Fucking Acme, still shipping crap even in the end of the world...."
[16:08:41] Spectre` falls over clutching his head "WHAT THE HAY?!?!"
[16:10:37] Ragebrew picked up the anvil and crammed it into one of her cases "Metalworker'll pay good for this..." She looked to Harmony Heights "Right. Back to town. See if we can get a hold of money bags. If not, well, fuck. See if a proper doctor can help Smiles."
[16:11:14] Elektron "After that should we follow the power line again?"
[16:11:54] Ragebrew nodded. "It's gonna lead us to the Glow. See if we can find another bubble dome for the spare rad suit we got."
[16:12:41] <Spectre`> "Could use some rad away as well" he mutters, face contorted in disgust at the thought of the medicine
[16:14:17] Ragebrew nodded. "Aye. We still got some salvage we could hawk." She took off trotting to Harmony Heights.
[16:14:59] Elektron followed, bringing the mule with him
[16:15:26] Rabtar  it only takes about an hour to get to Harmony Heights, the small town eerily silent as they approach...
[16:16:47] Ragebrew looked around at the town. She noticed the lack of a guard and flicked out Omega. "Right, this time I'm right. Something bad happened."
[16:17:10] <+Elektron> "What do you think happened?"
[16:17:42] Rabtar  Sarsaparilla floats out the shotgun that Rage had given her "What makes ya say that?"
[16:18:20] Ragebrew trotted towards the gate. "Cause there's no bored guard sitting at the gate, and I don't hear anyone." She pushed open the gate slowly.
[16:18:50] Swamp_Shadow pulls out her crossbow and sneaks away
[16:18:54] Spectre` frowns and pulls out his katana. No explosives in here... Ponies lived in the town after all
[16:19:16] Elektron pulls out the Plasma Defender and follows behind Ragebrew
[16:19:44] Rabtar  the town looks deserted not even vermin seem to be about...
[16:20:31] Ragebrew moved slowly through the town, Omega at the ready as she looked around for any signs of what happened.
[16:20:40] Spectre` shoots a look at Swamp and then starts sneaking ahead as well, keeping to the shadows and peeking into the windows from time to time
[16:22:53] Rabtar  every house is deserted and seems to have been neatly picked clean, they see something up towards the center of town. Looking like a shape carved into the dirt with a mutilated\ body at it's center...
[16:24:18] Ragebrew looked at the shape etched into the ground, then the body. She trotted around it, looking over it carefully.

[16:24:42] Spectre` will keep his distance until the others catch up... Sticking to the shadows again
[16:24:49] Elektron gags upon seeing the body "Thats... horrible..."
[16:25:56] Rabtar  as they get closer that can see that shape is a pentagram and that the poor pony in the center has been ritualistically cut open. The look stuck on the ponies dead face telling them that this was done with them alive...
[16:27:10] Swamp_Shadow swallows hard from her hiding place.
[16:28:19] Elektron dry heaves "Who... who would do this?"
[16:28:48] Ragebrew shrugged "Ya shoulda seen the decorations back at my first home." She grimaced at the expression. "Least they killed 'em first. Right. Cultists in power armor wiped out a town after we did their dirty work. Figure they took a lot alive for later use." She began circling the area, looking for tracks. "Everyone, look around for anything that may have been missed. Sure something may have. Then we make our way to the MAS Hub and get these fuckers to the punch."

[16:30:42] Elektron tries to calm his stomach before looking around as well
[16:36:14] Spectre` gives a nod and starts looking
[16:37:37] Rabtar  Ragebrew finds the trail easily, it leading off towards the river. She can see at least two dozen different sets of tracks with it. The others find almost nothing, just a few caps and a healing potion that was hidden under the floorboards. Spectre finds some little colts collection of porn.... what is it with this group finding porn?
[16:39:09] Spectre` just rolls his eyes and tosses the collection to Rage "You seem to be able to make use of this stuff" he says with a shrug "COuldnt find anything else"
[16:41:21] Ragebrew stashed the collection of mags, taking a moment to skim them over. "Lonely ponies looking for a little happiness. Better than chems." She looked at the tracks, swearing under her breath. "Fuckers got a boat too it seems. Must be a big one if they took all the townponies on it..."
[16:42:36] <Spectre`> "They could be anywhere on the river by now..."
[16:44:28] Rabtar  there is a second trail involving a roughly equal number of ponies that leads towards Old Apploosa
[16:46:08] Merciful_Devotion groans and rubs her head. "Did somepony catch the number of that cart...?"
[16:47:58] Ragebrew looked at the second set, eyes narrowing. "Oh go fucking figure. Right. They got a good lead, figure we're gonna be running into the night. Elektron, how much can that thing haul? Ya might be carrying sleepers during the night. Not letting another town get swooped by slavers."
[16:48:38] Elektron looks at it and makes a few quick calculations in the sand
[16:49:16] Swamp_Shadow appears. "Looks like the sacrificed pony was one of the ones that went with us to the power plant. Got seperated during the fight, I think."
[16:49:47] <+Elektron> "It should be able to carry 500 pounds, plus or minus five percent."
[16:50:49] Ragebrew looked over to Merciful_Devotion "Was a ghoul. Welcome back. We're making a rush to stop slavers before they get back to Old App. And damnit, not as much as I hoped. Oh well. Do it in cycles if we gotta, but we're not stopping till we catch 'em."
[16:51:59] <Spectre`> "How long agodo you think its been? They might already be there? Even with the town ponies slowing them down"
[16:52:00] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Wait... Catch slavers? Count me in."
[16:53:17] Elektron frowns "and can we even do anything about it? If they had enough to take the town, what can we do to them?"
[16:53:53] Ragebrew looked at Elektron with a glare "We'll do everything we can about it, because if we don't, who will? Ya want those folks to end up like yer home?"
[16:55:38] <+Ragebrew> "Ditch anything non vital. I may end up carrying one of ya along the way."
[16:55:58] Elektron balks, his eyes glistening slightly "N-No! But, theres only so many of us against so many of them..."
[16:57:14] Spectre` thinks "Two or three sleeping, at least one walking. We should be able to keep a steady pace provided the robot doesnt run out of power... I could scout ahead during the night be air... "
[16:58:48] Ragebrew hoisted Omega as she dropped off two of her ammo cases. "Then we'll have to find a way to even the odds."
[17:01:50] Swamp_Shadow hums. "Ah got a hunch we should go southeast. Just a feelin' though."
[17:02:47] Ragebrew looked at Swamp_Shadow with a cocked eyebrow "They went north. Why the hell should we go south?"
[17:03:20] Swamp_Shadow shrugs. "Don't know. It's like somebody with a very short temper just told me too."
[17:04:18] Merciful_Devotion blinks. "Uh... Okay?"
[17:04:35] Elektron blinks, not understanding
[17:04:37] Ragebrew looked up, then to Swamp "Fuck. I know that voice. Alright. Maybe it'll lead us to another dune buggy or something. Sisters provide... Alright, come on kinder, times burning."
[17:04:44] Swamp_Shadow pales. "And I think there's a creepy crawly or something. The voodoo's being weird now."
[17:06:57] <+Elektron> "A creepy crawly?"
[17:06:59] Ragebrew took off to the south east, pushing Swamp along. "Lead on, voodoo. If this is a waste of time I'm gonna be piiiiissed."
[17:07:42] Spectre` blinks a few times "So... We're giving up the chase of a /known/ group to chase after a /feeling/?!?"
[17:07:56] <+Ragebrew> "Don't doubt the Pinkie Sense."

[17:08:17] Swamp_Shadow nods. "Don't know. Let's let fate decide!" She then stops. "What's Pinkie got to do with it?"
[17:08:44] Ragebrew looked at Swamp_Shadow "Ya know what I'm talking about. Ya got it as much as I do. Now move it!"
[17:10:36] Elektron follows Ragebrew, bringing the mule with him
[17:10:40] Spectre` just sits on the bot and lets it carry him
[17:12:49] Rabtar  the group dash off into the desert, following after Swamp_Shadow as her 'voodoo'. After about three hours and well after nightfall Swamp_Shadow just stops and stares at a low depression at the bottom of a hill...
[17:13:42] Ragebrew looked at the depression, trotting towards it slowly. "Well lets hope this was worth it. Six hours burnt going the wrong way..."
[17:14:15] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I agree... My whole body hurts."
[17:16:18] Rabtar  at the bottom sits a small, green, six legged.... vehicle of some kind. The six legs spaded around it's small hull, a small turret with a small gun sticking out points to the sky. Painted in simple block letters is 'P-99C'...
[17:17:13] <+Swamp_Shadow> "Huh. I guess I was expecting something with teeth and venom, not a vehicle."
[17:17:29] Spectre` hops off the bot because he was smart and looks around "Alright... Lets see what the 'pink ones sense' is..." he mutters and looks inside "What?"
[17:17:36] <Spectre`> "Thats a vehicle?"
[17:17:43] Ragebrew looked at the... thing, and started making gibbered sounds of HAPPY before she rushed up to it and hugged the hull "SISTERS PROVIDE INDEED!"
[17:18:09] Elektron frowns and slowly approaches it "I hope it doesnt have any AI..."
[17:18:23] <Spectre`> "Wheres the wheels?" he asks and then looks at Swamp "AND HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS HERE?!?"
[17:18:27] Ragebrew whipped around "MAKE IT WORK!" She was bouncing in place at the speed of blur.

[17:20:07] Elektron pokes over the machine, taking care not to accidentally activate it on him
[17:21:11] Ragebrew was on that thing like a filly getting Hearthwarming, her birthday, her inheritance from some distance great aunt, and her first kiss all at the same time. "Makeitworkmakeitworkmakeitworkmakeitwork!"
[17:21:14] Swamp_Shadow shrugs at Spectre. "Sometimes I just do."
[17:21:24] Elektron opens the hatch and sticks his head inside
[17:21:41] Ragebrew ! Stop humping the chassis!
[17:22:41] Rabtar  the inside was dark, cramped and smelled musty. It looks like only three ponies would fit inside the strange tank thing.
[17:23:39] Ragebrew looked at the compartment "I'll ride on top."
[17:24:07] Elektron pulls his head out and shakes off the dust "The mechanical parts look mostly intact, just needs some electrical fixed... and some power."
[17:24:57] Swamp_Shadow laughs. "Let's get this party started then! The chase is on!"
[17:25:00] Ragebrew looked up "Then get to it! Sooner done, sooner we can chase after some slavers in giant robo spider tank!"
[17:25:20] Elektron nods and hops inside to do the repairs
[17:25:59] <Spectre`> "Can it even move faster than we would have on hoof?"
[17:31:18] Rabtar  after about an hour of work, and after using over half of his scrap electronics, Elektron has repaired the tank thing and even modified the engine to run of MFCs. Now all it needs is a jump to start it up.
[17:31:54] Ragebrew was SMILING SO MUCH. "Use the battery from the mule on it. Sure this things moves faster than it."
[17:32:59] Merciful_Devotion giggles. "This'll be fun!"
[17:33:43] Ragebrew looked to Smiles "Ya any good with guns? I can't fit in that thing too well, and we got room for three in there. Spectre, yer riding on the outside with me."
[17:33:55] Elektron "I've still got another spark battery, I'll use that." he said, plugging in some MFC and hooking up the battery
[17:40:51] Spectre` just hovers there "Well... There goes the silent approach... I just hope we can catch up with this, it doesnt look built for speed."
[17:41:21] Rabtar  the tank thing roars to life, the displays on the instruments all lighting up as the tank thing stands. It's belly only sitting about a foot off the ground as it settles into what is probably an idle position. The engine settling down to a loud purr as it warms up...
[17:41:29] <+Ragebrew> "Who needs silence when we have TANK!"
[17:45:20] Elektron pops his head out "Should be working now, I'll keep an eye to see if theres any damage to the insides."
[17:45:50] <+Ragebrew> "Onward then! Lets go hunt down some slavers!"

[17:47:11] Ragebrew housted Smiles into the machinegun turret "Swamp, I want ya on the main gun. Merci, yer riding outside with me."

[17:49:20] Rabtar  Sarsaparilla raises a hoof from the MULE "Ummm.... what about me? I'm still kinda messed up...'

[17:50:28] <+Ragebrew> "Ya already got two big guns, put those to use on the outside with me." She looked to Smiles "Sorry, we'll get ya to a doc when we can."
[17:51:26] Rabtar  the injured mare sighs "It's all right. Now lets go do some good... or something...'
[17:52:10] Elektron "So which way are we heading?"
[17:52:16] Rabtar  the drivers seat has a strange helmet with glowing wires coming out the back...
[17:53:38] Spectre` stays outside waiting impatiently
[17:58:46] Elektron climbs into the drivers seat and takes a deep breath before putting on the helmet
[18:02:15] Ragebrew hanged from the front of the tank, visibly vibrating with happiness. "North by Northwest. Spectre, I want ya high in the sky looking for any signs of an camp along the way towards Old Ap. tanktanktanktantank eeeeeeeeee!"
[18:03:22] Rabtar  as the helmet settles onto his head a small message scrolls across his vision. "Calibrating for new user." after a few minutes it finishes and Elektron's vision opens up, giving him a crude 3d rendering of the surrounding terrain, he can even hear the going ons outside of the metal monster through the helmet. He then takes hold of the two big levers and sets the machine in motion, the...
[18:03:24] Rabtar ...dull stomping carrying them off back towards Harmony Heights at a quick trot.
[18:04:48] Spectre` gives a nod and takes to the air above the tank by a couple hundred feet

[18:08:30] Merciful_Devotion giggles and hangs tight from the side
[18:11:38] Rabtar  they get back to Harmony Heights in short order, only taking half the time to get back. It's now after midnight and the group has lost a good amount of time...
[18:13:32] Ragebrew dropped off the tank, looking for the tracks again "Alright, I'm gonna keep a fast trot and follow the tracks. Ya'll keep behind me. One second, gonna throw my ammo cases into da stompa."
[18:13:56] Elektron doesnt respond, he just keeps following Ragebrew
[18:14:43] Spectre` just keeps on flying, occasionally going ahead a short distance and keeping an eye out for a slaver camp
[18:17:02] Ragebrew yelled to the flying Spectre "This is why ya don't question the Pinkie Sense!"
[18:18:16] Rabtar  and they stomp off into the night with there new toy, hot on the trail of a group of slavers. For stuff and for finally getting across the river the group gets 2500xp
