Revisit: Chapter Five

“Jozz and Eric! Get in here!” Sli yelled with anger. Two soldiers quickly scurried up to Sli, fear in their eyes.
“Time to pay my old enemy a visit” said Sli with a devilish smile. “Fetch me Christina!”
Jozz and Eric mount their horses and galloped away over the hills.

It was around dawn when the two mounted soldiers arrived a small castle at the edge of the ocean. They strolled up to the door and knocked twice.
“Why do we get put on all the dangerous missions?” whined Eric.
“Would you rather do nothing all day?” replied Joel.
The door creaked open; Jozz and Eric gulped then entered the place slowly. They walked down a series of hallways before reaching the throne room. They entered the throne room to find Christina seated on her throne eating grapes.
“What can I do for you two today?” she asked.
Jozz explained how Sli had requested Christina for a mission. Without hesitation, Christina hops off her throne and agrees to go with the two.
“This should be fun.” Christina says with a grin.

Elsa arrived back at the kingdom around dawn; her hair was a mess, her clothes torn. But she had managed to get away, save Faith and Andrew, and kill a couple of soldiers. She showered and changed into a new pair of clothes, then made her way to Andrew’s room to make sure they made it back okay. The door was open so Elsa peeked inside. She saw the two asleep, they looked so peaceful, and happy but Elsa couldn’t help but feel a little bit jealous.

Case sits up on his bed, his head aches with pain. He takes a look around his surroundings, and realizes he’s in Sli’s castle. “Oh no” he thinks to himself, he knows he’s in deep trouble for losing Faith.
“Haha, look who’s up.” Sli exclaims.
“Sir… I’m sorry I…” Case begins to speak; but Sli tapes his mouth interrupting him.
“Listen here you maggot, I gave you an assignment to go bring Faith to me. But no, you manage to screw it up!” Sli yells with anger.
Tears start falling from Case’s eyes. Sli tears the tape off and says: “WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?”
Case starts to cry and is unable to stop, making him look weak in front of Sli.
“I think you should let him rest sir” speaks the guard Smiley.
Sli turns around and glares at Smiley, he then yells: “ARE YOU GIVING ME ORDERS?”
Smiley drops his head, ashamed of himself as Sli kicks open the door and walks off to talk to Christina.

“Ah Christina! It’s so nice to see you again!” Sli says happily. “I apologize for my late arrival, had to deal with a maggot of mine.”
Christina smiles, her dark hair glimmering in the light.
“I was wondering if you could tear Heat’s heart out for me. I want him to know how I felt when I lost my true love. Can you do it?” Sli explains.
“What can’t I do?” Christina replies with a wink.

Fireproof: Chapter Six

“Heat sir, you have a visitor.” Spoke Ingigo, “Should I let her in?”
“Sure, why not?” Heat replied while sorting his trophy collection.
Out of the corner of his eye, Heat sees a girl. Her hair as dark as night, she smiled at Heat. Which makes him blush.
“Hello, what can I do for you?” Heat says with a smile.
“My name is Christina, I was hoping I could talk to you alone… It’s about Sli.”
Heat raises an eyebrow, confused as to why he was hearing his old enemy’s name after a year of no communication with him.
“I suppose so… However, may I ask why?” Heat says with confusion.
“Well he sent me here… To tear out your heart.” Christina says with a grin.
Heat draws his sword; next to him Ingigo takes out his dagger. Christina chuckles, and then draws her sword. In a quick movement, Christina knocks out Ingigo, leaving only her and Heat to fight. The two clash swords together, but then Heat pulls out a dagger in his other hand and stabs Christina in the stomach which causes her to flee.
“Wimp.” Heat mumbles under his breath as he cleans up the mess.
He suddenly smells burning, and realizes Christina must have set his place is on fire. He picks up unconscious Ingigo and makes a run for it, avoiding the flames and smoke. Heat falls over from exhaustion and lies on the ground panting.
“What did I miss?” says Ingigo waking from his slumber.
Ingigo looks to the burning house and his eyes grow wide.
“Damn Ingigo, I must be fireproof or something…” Heat says looking down at his perfect clothes.

Paralyzed: Chapter Seven

A cannon fires into the side of the castle, next screams fill the air. Elsa looks up to see a massive hole in the castle and starts to run towards the forest. Soldiers pound through the gate of the kingdom, and swarm inside. They all carry shields with the word: “SLI” engraved into them, Elsa freezes unable to move when she sees soldiers invading the town square stabbing people. She feels a hand grab her arm and turns to see her best friend Ky dragging her along with a sword in hand.
“ELSA, WE HAVE TO GO NOW!” he shouts over the screams and cannons.
The two run towards the forest and through a hole in the kingdom’s wall. They hear a horse neigh behind them and turn to see a soldier of Sli’s army.
“Elsa… Run, I’ll hold him off.” Ky says, his voice breaking.
“I’m not leaving you Ky!” Elsa shouts.
Ky turns around and hugs Elsa, a tear falls from his eye. He motions for her to run, so she does while tears fall from her eyes. Ky turns to the soldier and rushes toward him, sword above his head.

Elsa wakes up screaming, Andrew and Annamarie rush in. Elsa’s forehead is filled with sweat, her hands still trembling.
“What happened?” Annamarie says with worry in her voice.
Elsa freezes, remembering how she had left her best friend behind.
“It was just a dream… Don’t worry about it.” Elsa finally blurts out.
Andrew shrugs and leaves to join Faith who is waiting at the door. However, Annamarie stays behind.
“What’s wrong…?” Annamarie asks while sitting down to Elsa.
Elsa begins to explain the story to Annamarie, when she finished she looks over at Annamarie to find her eyes wide open.
“Wait a minute, did you just say Ky? Like… Kycraftt?” Annamarie spoke.
“Yeah, why?” Elsa responded.
“He was from here… He left because he said he had something to do…”
The two sat in silence, thinking about Ky and his crazy plans.

Reintroduction: Chapter Eight

Ky drops his sword on the floor and flops into his bed after a long raid. He hadn’t ever planned to be on Sli’s army, but he had to do what he had to do to survive. His mind flashbacks to the day he fled the now fallen kingdom. After telling Elsa to leave, Ky fought the soldier Clock hard until they both were out of breath. When Ky didn’t notice, another soldier knocked him out from behind. And I guess they both decided that it would be better if they left him alive then dead. Ky had only wanted to learn from the best… The king of the fallen kingdom, he had left his family behind just to learn his secrets. Guess that was a waste of time he thought to himself. He missed Elsa so much, he wondered if she had gotten out all right and if she was somewhere safe.
“KY OUR MIGHTY LEADER SLI NEEDS YOU.” Yelled Clock.
“On my way” Ky replied getting up.
They ran down a series of hallways until they reached the dining room where Sli sat eating his dinner.
“Ky right?” Sli asked.
“Yes… Sir” Ky replied.
“I no longer need you in my army, you can leave.”
Ky was confused, but he thanked Sli and left to pack his things. He was finally going home to Avicus…
