  1. ~~~Characters~~~
  2.
  3. * Lily Flanagan
  4.
  5. One of the protagonists, an employee at the Toronto-based company Feel Good Inc. Lily mainly joined for the opportunity to fight other demons, for a reason she has never truly explained to anyone.
  6. Lily looks like a somewhat poorly dressed, but otherwise regular girl. She has a pink hoodie, with a design on it of a stylized human skeleton, and denim jean shorts, scratched, paired with black stockings. She has short, dark blue hair, and pale skin, with green eyes that have snakelike pupils .
  7.
  8. Lily uses the following weapons:
  9. ~ Viper – A whip made of snake bone, with joints made of dark energy. At the end is a snake’s skull. Lily can use this like one would regularly use a whip, as well as having the head bite objects or enemies to allow her to pull herself to them, or them to her, depending on what she needs.
  10. ~ Cobra – A large axe guitar in the shape of a king cobra, with the sides of the cobra’s hoods being the sharpened edge of the weapon. Lily uses Cobra as a primary physical weapon, which has a lot of oomph behind its attacks.
  11. ~ Python – A special set of combat boots, which have a design on the front of them that looks like the ribcage of a snake. The boots allow her to cling onto any solid surface, and gives her good traction even on surfaces that normally have poor traction, such as glass. She can also use them as secondary weapons, causing huge teeth-like protrusions to form out of the bottom when she uses kicking attacks.
  12.
  13. Demon Skill: Dark Fantasy
  14. Lily has the ability to control shadows, which gives her several powers. She can hide in any shadow other than hers, allowing her to perform effective sneak attacks, even without a particularly optimized weapon set. There is no limit to how long she can remain in the shadows, but when a light is shone on her location in the shadows, not only will she be instantly revealed, but she will be overcome with an overwhelming weakness. She can also use bone guitar picks to stick a shadow to the ground/wall, preventing them from moving the corresponding body part. And on top of this, she can create a shadow clone of herself, called Doppelganger, which cannot physically hurt others, but can attack their shadow to make them feel sick like how she would feel when revealed by a source of light, as well as hide in shadows to avoid others.
  15.
  16.
  17. * Setsuko Akane
  18.
  19. An oni with Japanese ancestry, and great pride in said ancestry, she controls around 20 Legions. She’s a rival of Lily’s, and Lily admits she’s an opponent she usually doesn’t have an easy time with, and even loses to. However, the two are usually friends, and help each other with various jobs. Setsuko used to work at Feel Good Inc., but later left her job in the hopes of opening her own demon hunting agency, called Godai.
  20. While usually Setsuko looks like a regular Japanese, when in battle or not in public, Setsuko’s true nature is revealed as her skin turns a deep red. With tall curved ivory horns, and fairly large yellow eyes, she can look quite intimidating. She dresses in a somewhat loose tiger pattern shirt, and black jeans, and usually has bandages wrapper around her hands. Her hair is extraordinarily long, dyed blue but originally being black, and she has a yellow hairband keeping her hair in a ponytail, which has the kanji for Heaven on it.
  21.
  22. Setsuko uses the following weapons:
  23. ~ Yatagarasu – A set of armored gloves, much like grieves, that she wears over her bandaged arms. She can use these gloves to temporarily form wings around her arms, which allow her to jump much further than others, as well as fly or glide, if needed, and perform wind-based attacks as needed. The wind-based projectiles in particular are extraordinarily fast.
  24. ~ Ezofuji – A large, terra cotta container of gasoline, which Setsuko wears on a strap on her back during battle, and which is connected to a flamethrower. The flamethrower has a fairly long range, but ultimately isn’t really remarkable as a flamethrower. However, Setsuko can control the fire emitted by the weapon.
  25. ~ Momotaro – A large, pure steel bat, with large spikes inside it. Serving as her main weapon, the strength behind Momotaro can create earthquakes and destroy buildings.
  26.
  27. Demon Skill – D’Evils
  28. Thanks to being a real city girl, Setsuko is practically one with the city itself. She is capable of seeing and hearing what happens in other parts of the city, using metal and concrete as a medium for this, allowing her unparalleled intelligence collection... when in the city. Alongside this, Setsuko is capable of feeling what is happening in the city near her, using similar mediums, although this is in a much more immediate area. In this way, she can actually sense any possibly vibrations that are made in combat, making it so she can predict others in a fight, when they’re on the ground.
  29.
  30.
  31. * Peter Drake
  32. A guy who works as a Demon Hunter, Peter is highly competitive and seeks to become the best Demon Hunter in the world. As such, he wields many tools – both in the common sense, and in the magical sense – to be able to deal with the powers that demons usually have. He seeks to discover the secret as to where demons come from.
  33. Peter is a red-haired, white male, with many freckles on his face. His eyes are blue, and he usually wears a purple baseball cap with a blue cross and the name “Peter” on it. He has a light blue button-down shirt, with a Kevlar vest, and his cargo pants are held up by a large utility belt. On his left ear, he wears a wireless headset, for communicating with his teammates or others in general. He wears thick leather gloves, which have the same blue cross as on his hat. Come to think of it, that symbol is also on the back of his Kevlar vest. Maybe it’s his logo? Who even knows.
  34.
  35. Peter uses the following weapons:
  36. ~ Hellsing – A specialized sword, made out of blessed silver. This makes it so it deals unbelievable damage to demons, and on top of this, the weapon is much lighter, making it easier for Peter to perform combo attacks with the sword.
  37. ~ Alucard – A gun which fires silver bullets. This makes it capable of badly damaging demons.
  38. ~ Belmont – A whip which Peter pulled took from a demon he defeated, for his own use. The whip is capable of flicking a ‘switch’ on different things, making it so it behaves in a way opposite to what it’s intended to – for example, a light will only turn on if the power is off, or a stove will make things colder when on. When used on people or demons, the whip is capable of making a body part follow an opposing message, meaning that if someone is hurt and knows they need to escape, their legs might actually take them back into danger.
  39.
  40. * Griffon Archibald
  41. A gargoyle who is usually active at night, as during the day he’s a lot more obvious, due to being stuck in a stonelike form. A holy demon, who’s made of stone from a local church, he sees the city as weak, and believes it must be toughened, through force if necessary. This usually ends up being an excuse for him to attack others, which ends up attracting the attention of Feel Good Inc.
  42. Griffon appears as a powerful stone man, with massive wings. He has durability similar to stone, both magical and physical, but he cannot actually act during the day.
  43.
  44. Demon Skill – Modal Soul
  45. Griffon has an exceptionally powerful ability, in that he can absorb the kinetic energy that surrounds him in the immediate area, allowing Setsuko to essentially render himself immune to most physical attacks by completely removing their kinetic energy. With physical contact, he can even cause other objects to freeze in this method. Alternatively, he can reverse this effect after absorbing energy, melting objects or allowing him to create extremely powerful projectiles without seeming to need a lot of effort.

  50. Notes:
  51.
  52. Demons – Beings who are destined to live in Hell, but rather than burn eternally, they can instead thrive. Demonhood is a gift given to poor souls that Hell’s much-beloved ruler, which allows a Legion or damned soul become much stronger than before, become capable of finally leaving their determined punishment, and in recent days, enter the world of the living, usually as employees of companies such as FGI, who are funded by Hell’s auspicious ruler. The children of demons will also always be demons – this applies to if the mother or father is a human, as well.
  53. Demons who live in Hell currently are much like retirees, who seek to simply wait for Judgement Day and live out the rest of their demonic lives in comfort, or actually work with their great and almighty ruler, creating a plan of attack for when judgement day arrives.
  54. When in the world of the living, demons are capable of hiding their demonic appearances to others, appearing as regular humans. Depending on the demon, some of them try to return to human life, but as demons, they are ultimately tied to Hell, and if the wise and just ruler of Hell believes that a demon is being ‘out of line’, they will force them to either return to Hell, or be damned to the lowest part of Hell as punishment for disobeying. For this reason, demons who try to start new families, or return to their old ones, end up having to do it over short bursts.
  55. On top of this, demons in the living world are often targets of demon hunters, now a common occurrence. These people seek to locate demons and dispose of them, and ironically often work in the same companies that the valiant and powerful ruler of hell controls, thus accidentally end up carrying out his deeds.
  56.
  57. Legions – Entities who work off a sin that’s particularly weighing them to Hell, or simply humans who ended up selling their souls to a demon. Legions are usually used by demons as labour, and in the case of demons who work in the living world, usually they work like obedient servants, doing various small jobs for the demons. Having legions is an indication of how powerful a demon is, especially if the legion has sold their soul to the demon, which essentially guarantees that they will forever work for that demon.
  58. Legions appear as shrivelled, childlike entities, with large, yellow eyes not unlike a cat, who wear simple, loose human clothing like t-shirts. They usually have yellow eyes, and are considered the absolute lowest form of supernatural being – not that that means they’re weak, as they’re still considerably powerful compared to regular humans.
  59.
  60. Feel Good, Inc. – A company started by a former demon hunter, Feel Good Incorporated, or FGI for short, is the world’s #1 Demon Summoning service. They have a wide variety of supernatural beings, mostly demons, working for them, and these beings each specialize in various supernatural tasks. Need someone cursed? Want to screw over a business rival? How about learning the future? These, and other such tasks, can be handled by the employees of Feel Good Inc., and usually highly effectively as well.
  61. That isn’t to say that they do it for free. Far from it. Depending on the rank of the demon, they require payment – lower demons usually are fine with a lot of money, starting at around 250k per job, but higher up demons want far more for their services. Especially, some may demand that their clients literally sell their lives away, making them lose things that they value... or worse, they may indeed ask for their lives. A human can pay off just about any demonic debt by selling their soul to the demon, becoming a Legion that must serve the demon, while the demon themselves gains an increase in power from taking the rest of the human’s life force. For this reason, a lot of clients are older, and immensely wealthy.
  62. FGI also features a demon hunting branch. While not as full of demons as their main service, there are still a few located here, as a few just see it as a chance to make a living fighting. Usually, this is where requests regarding client safety also go – this generally involves the client seeking protection from malevolent forces, which occasionally means that one client may call FGI to have something done about someone else, who is also a client of FGI and will then seek protection from the Demon Hunters branch of FGI. These scenarios are handled by making both branches highly aware of the other’s activities, and in the event of both being FGI employees, they will go to the higher ups to determine how the situation will be handled. Usually, it involves them either cancelling their jobs with either client, or with them deciding on an advantageous situation that can be faked in a battle. Of course, sometimes the employees involved don’t mind the idea of fighting someone from their own company, especially if they have beef with each other, and they’ll just carry on as usual, using the clash of jobs as a chance to let steam go.
  63.
  64. Demon Skills – All supernatural beings have access to a special power, which is commonly referred to as a Demon Skill. These are often based around a specific element – Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark, and Spirit are the most commonly accepted ones. Demon Skills are usually tied to how the demon once lived (as is the case with Lily), or what kind of demon they are to begin with (like Griffon).
