  3. [2014-11-29 21:44:09]<SpiritOfFate> Night is falling over the settlement, the stars appearing on the sky. Over the clinic, the three raider fillies still have their destination unknown. The merchants talk at Nebulous Labs, deciding how to handle the impressive potential of it. Two griffin are still unnacounted for. But there is a surprise for the hellhound diggers
  4. [2014-11-29 21:48:21]* Sotho starts to look for the griffons, examing around, after all, shouldnt be that hard to spot Griffons in a town mainly consisting of donkeys and ponies
  5. [2014-11-29 21:49:42]* Swiss_Provolone points to the door, "All right kids, we're going to talk to someone else to see what to do with you. Now march." he orders, starting to take them away to Tamara

  8. [2014-11-29 21:52:31]<SpiritOfFate> The fillies move with grumpy faces, not to thrilled by Full_Physical's friendliness, except for Clam who subtly smiles back.
  9. [2014-11-29 21:57:07]<SpiritOfFate> Sotho finds one of them having a staredown with Jamal. Strangely, he seems to be wearing a blackfeather outfit.
  10. [2014-11-29 21:57:45]* Sotho trots up to them, looking between them. "What seems to be the issue herE?"
  11. [2014-11-29 21:58:30]<SpiritOfFate> "It's a dirty spy." Jamal says. "He is not one of us."
  12. [2014-11-29 21:59:01]<SpiritOfFate> "Look who is talking. Traitor." The other griffon says
  13. [2014-11-29 22:00:42]* Sotho gives a sigh. "What is this issue about? He accompained the trading company we are trying to set up a trade route with."
  14. [2014-11-29 22:03:46]<SpiritOfFate> "He is up to something, he stole a set of our gear." Jamal says. He holds a shotgun on one of his talons, still pointed down, for now.
  15. [2014-11-29 22:06:11]* Sotho looks to the griffon. "Interestingly enough, why do you have that outfit? You were not wearing it while you came to town."
  16. [2014-11-29 22:07:28]<SpiritOfFate> "I found it." The griffon says.
  17. [2014-11-29 22:08:20]<Sotho> "You... found it? where?"
  18. [2014-11-29 22:10:54]<SpiritOfFate> Swiss_Provolone finally reaches the barracks with the fillies.
  19. [2014-11-29 22:11:53]<SpiritOfFate> "Around. It was laying there. One of your griffs must have gone for a swim" The griffon says with a smirk.
  20. [2014-11-29 22:12:06]* Swiss_Provolone "Come on now she's here. Don't try and run anywhere." he says, leading them to where Tamara is
  21. [2014-11-29 22:13:10]<SpiritOfFate> Crabby glances away for a moment but decides just to obey
  22. [2014-11-29 22:15:26]<SpiritOfFate> Tamara is inside what might have been a school, past the yard full of tents. She has a desk with a recently drawn map of Freedom Mound as well as an old map of the region, and she talks through a portable radio, but her eye spots Swiss_Provolone going in
  23. [2014-11-29 22:17:05]<SpiritOfFate> Sotho notices that the griffon bags don't match the Blackfeather kind that Jamal and his griffin use, neither the usual Silver Anchor.
  24. [2014-11-29 22:18:15]<SpiritOfFate> "Stop dropping crap or I'll get rid of your beak." Jamal grunts.
  25. [2014-11-29 22:18:15]* Swiss_Provolone "Sorry for all the interuption Tamara, but I wanted your input on what to do with these three. Found 'em robbing a merchant a few days ago, and they were going to rob someone from here. Frankly, they're a danger to the locals but if we just toss them out they're a danger to the ponies outside as well." he tells her, narrowing his eyes at the kids

  27. [2014-11-29 22:24:43]<SpiritOfFate> Tamara appraises the three fillies, noticing the scars and track marks. "They look like raiders. How did they get here?"
  28. [2014-11-29 22:26:17]* Swiss_Provolone "Sotho, Firefly and I brought them back along with the merchant they attacked. Apparently they met them before, and they have a history of pulling this." he responds
  29. [2014-11-29 22:26:46]<SpiritOfFate> The griffon is visibly more nervous about those. "Somebody lost them on the road towards this place. Maybe we could find the owner." It's clear he is making that up
  30. [2014-11-29 22:28:07]* Sotho gives a simple nod. "Understandable. I will just need the bags then."
  31. [2014-11-29 22:28:11]* Sotho holds out his hoof
  32. [2014-11-29 22:29:53]<SpiritOfFate> Tamara raises an eyebrow. "Why didn't you just shoot them, if you know they are a a danger?"
  33. [2014-11-29 22:30:42]<SpiritOfFate> Clam looks at Spiny worried, while Spiny just listens without showing any reaction. Crabby glares at Tamara.
  34. [2014-11-29 22:31:44]<SpiritOfFate> The griffon turns and opens his wings to flee, but Sotho is ready to react as he notices it.
  35. [2014-11-29 22:32:26]* Swiss_Provolone bristles, "I ain't in the habit of shooting kids, even raiders. Not unless they're beyond hope of ever changing their ways, or letting them live will kill somepony else." he looks down at them with a disappointed frown, "I guess my mistake was thinking they could change."
  36. [2014-11-29 22:37:58]* Sotho quickly moves and uses his hooves to grab one of the griffons wings, and bring his other hoof down on it
  37. [2014-11-29 22:38:58]<SpiritOfFate> "What did you try?" Tamara asks Swiss_Provolone
  38. [2014-11-29 22:41:33]<SpiritOfFate> After a series of strikes, the griffon's wing is broken. He loses balance and falls on the dirt
  39. [2014-11-29 22:41:44]* Swiss_Provolone "They were addicted to some nasty chems, so we took them to Chroma first. We offered them to get clean and have a safe place to stay so long as they could maintain some civility." he sighs, "But according to Chroma, she couldn't treat anypony who didn't want to get better."
  40. [2014-11-29 22:42:18]<SpiritOfFate> Jamal follows to pin the griffon with a shotgun to their head.
  41. [2014-11-29 22:43:55]<SpiritOfFate> Jamal nods to Sotho. "He better stop trying anything funny now."
  42. [2014-11-29 22:44:13]<Sotho> "Now now. I don't appriciate liars and theives in my home." He says looking to the griffon. "I'm a zebra, and I'm sure as a griffon you've heard how brutal we are. Be glad I only broke your wing. Now, give over those bags and that armor of yours and we will deal with your properly."

[2014-11-29 22:47:48]* Royal_Lace finishes her polite wave to Snow Drop as the mare quickly disapears after her show, Straigtening out her buisness attire she turns to her guests, "Now, I belive that is about all I can show off for now. If your still interested in talking we can return to my office if you like so I may asnwer any further questions you have. Shall we?"

  48. [2014-11-29 22:51:18]<SpiritOfFate> There are three blocks of C4 inside, and a detonator.
  49. [2014-11-29 22:52:05]* Sotho raises an eyebrow. "And where is your ally?"
  50. [2014-11-29 22:54:23]<SpiritOfFate> "Of course." Goggles says, following Royal_Lace along with his brother.
  51. [2014-11-29 22:56:09]* Royal_Lace nods, "Excelent, then if you follow me". Troting back inside she nods thankfully to snowdrop, hoping she wasnt to upset for asking her to show off. As she leads them upstairs she opens the door to let them inside first, "Please pardon me if I dont offer you refreshments after our tour, please make yourself comfortable". She follows them inside after they enter and moves to her desk.
  52. [2014-11-29 22:58:36]<SpiritOfFate> "I had a holding cell built here. We can keep them here until you decide what to do. But keep in mind it's a drain on our resources." Tamara says to Swiss_Provolone
  53. [2014-11-29 23:00:17]<SpiritOfFate> "I'll tell you what I know, just don't kill me. S-she was meant to find the headquarters of the mudponies." The griffon says.

[2014-11-29 23:01:41]* Swiss_Provolone nods, "I'll take it up with the boss later, thank Tamara." he turns to the fillies, "Get inside, and think about what path you've decided to go down, because depending on what the boss says you're either getting one more chance or you're out of here. Got it?" he says sharply
  55. [2014-11-29 23:01:42]<Sotho> "Who is she, where is your companions, and have you set any of these explosives up yet?"
  56. [2014-11-29 23:02:01]<SpiritOfFate> Jamal shakes his head, amused. "Was it that easy? This guy needs a spine."
  57. [2014-11-29 23:04:23]<SpiritOfFate> Spiny nods. Tamara calls a mudppony to lead them to a cell made of metal fences welded together
  58. [2014-11-29 23:06:24]* Swiss_Provolone turns back to Tamara, "Thanks for watching them, I'll go have a chat with the boss. Anything you need from here while I'm there?" he asks her
  59. [2014-11-29 23:06:43]<SpiritOfFate> "It's just us, and I placed one already." The griffon says

  61. [2014-11-29 23:08:00]<SpiritOfFate> "Nothing right now. Everything seems to be under control." Tamara says.
  62. [2014-11-29 23:08:44]* Swiss_Provolone nods, trotting away to find Royal_Lace
  63. [2014-11-29 23:10:15]<SpiritOfFate> The two donkeys take seats in Royal_Lace's office. Soon Swiss_Provolone is at the place as well
  64. [2014-11-29 23:11:08]* Swiss_Provolone nods at Royal_Lace and waits outside her office
  65. [2014-11-29 23:11:16]<SpiritOfFate> "Behind the clinic. Can you let me go now?" The griffon says
  66. [2014-11-29 23:12:20]<Sotho> "No. Where did your friend go towards. Also you're going to have to talk to your employers. Our trade partners."
  67. [2014-11-29 23:12:35]<Sotho> "Hopefully you can be used to some good part on our sides."
  68. [2014-11-29 23:13:20]* Royal_Lace nods and closes the door, "Now, I have show you aroun our facilties and if there are no furhter questions I would very much like to hear what your interest is with our current and future projects?"

  70. [2014-11-29 23:16:53]<SpiritOfFate> "Yes the ship." Goggles says

  78. [2014-11-29 23:17:49]<SpiritOfFate> The griffon points south.
  79. [2014-11-29 23:19:54]<Sotho> "Jamal, I want you to take this griffon to our jail, or put him in some form of containment. I'm going to go look for the other one. Tell Ignis about the C4 if you can." He says as he hurries south, looking for the second griffon.

[2014-11-29 23:21:45]* Royal_Lace nods, "well the current ship in production is our first full scale model and should be finished withen the next week ready for service, of course that is before being fitted. This paticular ship is slated to be used for further scientific endeverse... however if so compensated for it I could be convinced to part with it, still a more tennable solution I though would be the funding of a new ship"
  81. [2014-11-29 23:22:15]* Royal_Lace leans forward, "Perhapse one more talored to your needs? With the data from this ship and your specifications, im sure we could better accomidate your needs"
  82. [2014-11-29 23:23:31]<SpiritOfFate> "Hmm, we need to think about this." Goggles says;
  83. [2014-11-29 23:25:27]<SpiritOfFate> Jamal calls Ignis through radio. "We have a situation, Ignis can you hear?"
  84. [2014-11-29 23:27:57]* Ignis picks up the call. "Yo, whats up Jamal ?"
  85. [2014-11-29 23:28:00]* Royal_Lace nods with a smile, "Of course, Ill give you two a moment to consider. Now if you excused me I beilve I saw one of my colegues in the hall just now. I shall return in a moment". Steping out the door she closes it behind herself and dose a happy dance and looks to Swiss with a smile before whispering, "yes, yes yes! investors, customers, oh this is exciting!"
  86. [2014-11-29 23:29:13]* Swiss_Provolone smiles back, "It'll be good to see some of what you've been working on start turning a profit." he says
  87. [2014-11-29 23:29:28]* Full_Physical reads a magazine in the lobby as he eavesdrops on Ignis
  88. [2014-11-29 23:30:06]* Royal_Lace breathes deeply, "yes, once Nebulous is independent we can stop draining resorces from the landfill. Oh this is perfect, im sure its going well to!"
  89. [2014-11-29 23:31:21]<SpiritOfFate> "Somebody set us up the bomb." Jamal blinks. "Er, sorry, mind is racing here. There is C4 planted behind the clinic. Can you handle this? Silver Anchor sent saboteurs as merchant security."
  90. [2014-11-29 23:33:18]* Ignis hmmms a bit. "Sure thing, moving to cover all the bases then." The dragon says, leaving the clinic with the radio still on hand...good thing it was so close, how convenient.
  91. [2014-11-29 23:35:41]* Full_Physical shrugs and goes back to reading 200 year old news articles
  92. [2014-11-29 23:36:12]<Swiss_Provolone> nods, "Glad for your business to be taking off ma'am, but there are a couple things I need to ask you. A few days back your husband, Firefly and I found some fillies robbing a merchant. We brought them back here for the safety of ponies outside the walls, and so they could get fixed. Problem is it isn't looking like they want to change, they tried to rob one of the townsfolk. So we either got to toss 'em out where they're a th
  93. [2014-11-29 23:37:44]<Swiss_Provolone> a threat to others or keep em here where we can keep an eye on them, but at a risk to our ponies and costing us some supplies." he informs her
  94. [2014-11-29 23:38:11]<SpiritOfFate> With the directions, Ignis can find the blinking light of a C4 block behind some boxes, with little difficulty
  95. [2014-11-29 23:38:42]* Ignis goes to check the explosive...
  96. [2014-11-29 23:39:12]* Royal_Lace pauses her celebrating, "oh... that is a pickle. was hoping nothing terribly serious would happen today. Glad its jutst this though, still that is troubleing.... I suppose I could have a talk with them later? Tell me, what do you know about them?"
  97. [2014-11-29 23:41:58]* Ignis attempts to defuse it, here's to luck.
  98. [2014-11-29 23:42:01]<SpiritOfFate> After some searching Sotho finds the griffon gliding from a dark roofop to another, moving towards the barracks.
  99. [2014-11-29 23:43:14]* Sotho gives a sigh as he follows them, trying to tail them close enough where he'll be able to stop whatever they're doing at the barracks

[2014-11-29 23:43:52]* Swiss_Provolone frowns, flicking his tail, "Either they were raised by raiders or took after 'em, whenever we run into them they seem to be getting into trouble, and not the harmless kind. They also seem addicted to some chems, but Chroma can't do anything for them if they don't want the change. The one in charge seems to be a bad influence on the other two, but they're hardly saints as well." he replies
  101. [2014-11-29 23:46:13]* Royal_Lace nods, "Hum.... I think I have a few ideas, they wouldnt happen to be connected to the Sand raiders would they?"
  102. [2014-11-29 23:47:57]* Swiss_Provolone nods, "The drugs there were on seemed like the same ones as those sand raiders we found a little while back." he says
  103. [2014-11-29 23:51:14]* Full_Physical feels dizzy as Ignis fails to disarm the bomb, and the world reloads an old save
  104. [2014-11-29 23:51:16]* Royal_Lace taps her chin, "yes then, that will work nicely. I have been fishing for more information about this group... maybe I could tackle two problems at once! Would you be willing to escort me to see them sometime after this meeting?"
  105. [2014-11-29 23:52:04]* Swiss_Provolone nods, "They're being watch by Tamara and her group, under lock and key after they got out from Chroma the last time."
  106. [2014-11-29 23:54:08]* Royal_Lace nods, "then we shall see to it later, is there anything ells you wanted to discuss? maybe what you brought up before about your employment here?"
  107. [2014-11-29 23:54:19]<SpiritOfFate> By mistake Ignis ends up triggering the charge.
  108. [2014-11-29 23:55:13]<SpiritOfFate> A deafening blast makes Freedom Mound rumble. The back wall of the clinic is destroyed and a chunk of it is taken along.
  109. [2014-11-29 23:55:18]* Ignis bodyslams it to contain the explosion, oh dangit...it would hurt in the morning like a fuckass.
  110. [2014-11-29 23:57:37]<SpiritOfFate> By luck, Chroma was away from the explosion, but she turns startled to see half of her clinic turned into rubble.
  111. [2014-11-29 23:58:37]* Full_Physical coughs up some dust and looks through the rubble for surivivors
  112. [2014-11-29 23:58:43]* Royal_Lace eyes grow wide as a plate as she feels the building shake a bit from the shock. "Dear Ceslestia, was that the landfill already? What sort of explosives did Ignis set? Swiss go to the roof and see if you can spie anything, I need to speak to my guests". Without waiting she turns and enters her office, casting her gaze about. "Is everybeing allright?"

  114. [2014-11-29 23:59:34]* Sotho blinks but focuses on his griffon target right now to insure that doesnt happen to morep laces
  115. [2014-11-30 00:01:00]<SpiritOfFate> Full_Physical manages the blast as well, only being covered in dust from the blast
  116. [2014-11-30 00:02:21]* Swiss_Provolone pulls out his binoculars on the roof, taking a look at what is going on around town
  117. [2014-11-30 00:04:28]<SpiritOfFate> The griffon stops at a rooftop, looking towards the blast
  118. [2014-11-30 00:06:17]* Sotho takes this moment to try to get onto the rooftop
  119. [2014-11-30 00:06:42]<SpiritOfFate> Swiss_Provolone easily sees the smoke and dust around the clinic
  120. [2014-11-30 00:07:28]<SpiritOfFate> Ignis is covered in rubble, his whole body hurts but is still in one piece.
  121. [2014-11-30 00:07:43]* Swiss_Provolone heads back inside to Royal_Lace's office to report what he sees
  122. [2014-11-30 00:08:23]* Ignis tries to stand up?
  123. [2014-11-30 00:09:03]<SpiritOfFate> "What happened!?" Chroma covers her muzzle, trying to make sense of it
  124. [2014-11-30 00:10:20]<SpiritOfFate> Ignis can push the beam away and get back up
  125. [2014-11-30 00:11:06]<SpiritOfFate> Sotho makes it to the rooftop, but the griffon is still watching the explosion site. "That idiot, it's too soon..."
  126. [2014-11-30 00:11:30]* Ignis hurls some stuff aside while he escapes his tomb, coughing madly. "Fuckass bom... *cough, cough* bomb, freaking bomb." He makes his way across rubble and whatnot of stuff over him.
  127. [2014-11-30 00:12:53]<Full_Physical> "Ignis? What happened?"
  128. [2014-11-30 00:12:54]* Sotho makes three swings at the griffon's wing, all missing
  129. [2014-11-30 00:15:17]<SpiritOfFate> Chroma rushes to the dragon. "Ignis! Are you okay?!" She looks back for a stretcher but they are all in shambles. She studies his body for damage
  130. [2014-11-30 00:16:43]<SpiritOfFate> The griffon flaps backwards as she feels the wind of Sotho's strike. "Crap!" She flies up.
  131. [2014-11-30 00:18:32]* Ignis bats off the dust and debris nochalantly, trying to make it seem it was no big deal...even though he was hurting all over. "Just a bit...dazed over...gah, just disappointed that I would take over "his" talent." The dragon says with spite, shaking his head. "Sorry about the building, but...it was set to blow at anytime soon, I did just try and went for it...good thing you weren't caught."
  132. [2014-11-30 00:19:12]<SpiritOfFate> From the rooftops the mudponies can be seen leaving their barracks, and some mudpony patrol guards soon reach the clinic.
  133. [2014-11-30 00:19:37]* Sotho makes a jump at the griffon, trying to weigh her down and latch onto her leg
  134. [2014-11-30 00:20:07]* Royal_Lace tries to reasure her guest, "Please remain calm, we have security on staff who are looking into this and more still outside these walls im sure who are rushing to deal with whatever that was just now"
  135. [2014-11-30 00:21:15]* Swiss_Provolone knocks at Royal_Lace's office door, nodding his head back to the hall
  136. [2014-11-30 00:21:18]<SpiritOfFate> Chroma fights the urge to hug Ignis tight. "I'm so glad you are alive." She tears up. "Come with me, we need to get you healed. " She tries to guide him to a nearby bench, pulling out a healing potion.
  137. [2014-11-30 00:23:50]* Royal_Lace steps do the door, "Yes, was it the yard? What is going on?"
  138. [2014-11-30 00:23:56]* Ignis goes there, starting to whine a bit. "But it was just a scra...ah, know what, you're right. It'd be probably best." The dragon goes to the bench, quite much mollified. "I'll be well, I'm just sad about..." And he sways his head towards the damage. "...screwing up stuff, seems like a penchant..." The dragon lowers his muzzle and draws a heavy sigh.
  139. [2014-11-30 00:24:30]* Swiss_Provolone "Looks like an explosion at the clinic, can't tell by what or why from here." he reports
  140. [2014-11-30 00:25:51]* Royal_Lace Gasps as she looks over her sholder, "Ill be back with news, keep them save as well as anyone left in the building". Without waiting for an answer she teleports across the town just outside of the clinic
  141. [2014-11-30 00:26:32]<SpiritOfFate> Sotho manages to take hold of the griffon's hindpaw and the sudden weight pulls her back down. "Let me go!" She draws a revolver and shoots twice at Sotho
  142. [2014-11-30 00:26:59]* Swiss_Provolone trots inside her office, talking to her guests, "She'll be back in just a moment, seems to have been an accident at the clinic."
  143. [2014-11-30 00:27:15]* Full_Physical stands by the bench and inspects the damage
  144. [2014-11-30 00:29:13]<SpiritOfFate> The first shot pierces Sotho deep, but then gun clicks harmlessly on a dud.
  145. [2014-11-30 00:30:41]* Royal_Lace trots full tilt at the clinic, lighting her horn and clammering over debree as she calls out. "Chroma! Chroma are you arlight?"
  146. [2014-11-30 00:36:58]<SpiritOfFate> "We can fix it, I just want you to relax now." Chroma kisses Ignis' forehead. "You will be okay." She seems completely absorbed in caring for him.
  147. [2014-11-30 00:37:41]* Sotho wails on the griffon, wanting to beat her down for even daring to harm his home
  148. [2014-11-30 00:38:27]<SpiritOfFate> Chroma breathes a sigh of relief. Both her and Full_Physical can see the damage was only superficial.
  149. [2014-11-30 00:39:45]<SpiritOfFate> She gives Ignis the potion, only then glancing to see Royal_Lace.
  150. [2014-11-30 00:40:00]<Full_Physical> "Whatever this was really messed the building up, I'm impressed that you're still in one piece, Ignis."
  151. [2014-11-30 00:40:10]* Ignis nods meekly, gazing at her and...feeling as if he was twelve all over again? Gosh...so much for draconic gall.
  152. [2014-11-30 00:40:34]* Royal_Lace comes to a stop near them and knealing down, "What in equestria happened here?"
