  1. Journey Rules
  2. -Journey is played by using a !pickrandom from a list of starter (!pickrandom eevee,pikachu,ralts,charmander,bulbasaur,squirtle,quilava,chikorita,tododile, treeko,mudkip,torchic,piplup,turtwig,chimchar,oshawott,tepig,snivy,fennekin,froakie,chespin,elekid,magby,player's choice)
  3. - You may evolve elekid and magby at lvl 25 if you wish. The player's choice option will only allow you to pick a starter from the starter list.
  4. - You will start off at lvl 5 and battle other participants for lvls. For every pokemon you defeat you will gain a level. You can distribute the levels you gain to any member of the party.
  5. What moves you can use
  6. -There are level restrictions for the moves you may use to prevent a starter from being overpowered at the begining of the game.
  7. - Pokemon below lvl 15 must use damaging moves with a base power of 50 or below. Multi-hit moves are not allowed till level 25.
  8. - Pokemon from lvl 15-23 must use damaging moves with base power of 75 or below.
  9. - Pokemon lvl 24-29 must use damaging moves with base power of 90 or below.
  10. - After lvl 30, a pokemon can use any move it legally learns.
  11. - Any non-damaging moves such as swagger, substitute, protect, toxic, etc. can be used at any level.
  12. - Moves with undefined damages such as Return and Frustration will not be allowed until later levels (25)
  13. What Items you can use
  14. - Pokemon lvl 20 and below are restricted to berries, scarves, leftovers, weakness policy, and any species specific item (such as light ball for pikachu)
  15. - Pokemon lvl 20-29 can use any items aside from megastones.
  16. - After lvl 30, a pokemon can use any item it wants.
  17. When/How to get new pokemon.
  18. - New Pokemon and their levels will be determined by how high the highest lvl member of the party is.
  19. At level 10, you can get your 2nd pokemon which will start off at lvl 7
  20. At level 24, you can get your 3rd pokemon which will start off at lvl 19
  21. At level 36, you can get your 4th pokemon which will start off at lvl 29
  22. At level 48, you can get your 5th pokemon which will start off at lvl 35
  23. At level 63, you can get your final pokemon which will start off at lvl 50
  24. - You can evolve your pokemon at the appropriate level. Those who do not evolve from leveling but instead by trade, item, friendship, etc. can be evolved 15 levels after they are obtained. (an eevee obtained at lvl 7 can evolve at lvl 22)
  25. - If you do not like your pokemon that you chose you can choose to change it, but its lvl will be reduced by 10 or to the minimum value it can go. (Ex. you want to change your 2nd pokemon which was lvl 13. Since the minimum value for the 2nd mon is lvl 7, you changed pokemon will be lvl 7)
  26. What pokemon you can get.
  27. -Pokemons you obtain must be in the LC tier at the lowest evolution unless it is obtained at a level that is already past the requirements for evolution. After your 4th pokemon, you may choose any pokemon you like unless they are Legendaries.
  28. - No, LC uber pokemon do not count >.>
  29. - Examples of what we consider LC: Eevee, any starter, baby pokemons, etc.
  30. - Legendary pokemon (this includes Phione) are not allowed.
  31. IMPORTANT: IF you just start are are grossly out-leveled by all other participants, we will allow you to up your pokemon(s) to higher lvl instantly so that you can play on even grounds.
  32. ALSO IMPORTANT: To prevent higher level players from farming levels from the lower level players. If the average level of your team exceeds the average level of your opponent's team by 10, you cannot gain levels from the battle.
