  1. Leadership vote here. If passes, we will send it on to the Fed general population. This is a basic yes or no vote to determine is Leadership thinks this is an acceptable solution to the question of what the Federalist party will do in the event of a Party Presidential Primary ending in a tie. A simple majority will determine whether the proposition passes or fails. This is a measure to set a written rule to look to in the even of a Primary tie.

  4. The Federalist party, in order to ensure a smooth Party Presidential Election hereby offer this safeguard against ties in the Party Presidential Primary.
  5.
  6. A)
  7. In the event of the Federalist Party Presidential Primary ending in a tie, the decision as to who will be party president falls onto these conditions:
  8.
  9. 1) There will be runoff election starting on the 13th as soon as the initial primary is done. The runoff will include the tied candidates, dropping the candidate(s) with the lowest vote total. This election will run 24 hours, ending on the evening of the 14th. The winner shall get the Party Presidency Nomination.
  10.
  11. 2) In the event of a second tie, please refer to article B.
  12.
  13. B)

  15. In the event of the Federalist Party Presidential Primary ending in a tie, the decision as to who will be party president falls onto these conditions:
  16.
  17. 1) A candidate may drop out of the race for the sake of the party. This will be a purely voluntary gesture. Their votes will not be recast.
  18.
  19. 2) If no candidate is willing to drop out the next option is to be an in-game runoff vote. Both candidates will remain on the ballot and will proceed through the in-game voting process to determine whom will be Party President. The party will be notified of the in-game vote.
  20.
  21. 3) In the event that no candidate will drop and there cannot be an in-game vote due to credible PTO* threat or due to too many candidates remain on the in game ballot to make it easily discernible between nominated candidates and those not, the seat of the party president will be decided via experience points.
  22.
  23.
  24. *As it is unlikely that the party will know of a PTO threat until the day of the election, both candidates would remain on the ballot. Once the PTO threat is established the party would notify the members via FedEx of the threat and the need to vote for the Candidate with the greater experience points.
