Filling your day with Hope

>Hope leaves class, with permission, to fix her make-up
>A lady such as Hope can't have any visible imperfections. Not like she has any non-physical ones anyways.
>The "lady" enters the girls bathroom and sees a raven-haired girl, quite familiar to all of Echo Creek Academy.
>The cheerleader captain, Brittney Wong.
>For some reason, Brittney was applying lip-stick. But the colour, ugh, it's so bad!
>Annoyed with the staring Hope was doing, she snubs. "What are you looking at?"
>Surprised by the quick quip, the hopeful girl replies. "O-oh nothing. It's just that with your style, that colour doesn't suit you."
>"Excuse me?" The raven haired girl snaps, hate just emanates from the girl.
>Hope was already searching for the right item, shuffling through what feels like 2.4 tons of make-up.
>With a smile on her face, she pulls out a colour of lipstick perfect for this frigid girl
>Her mind racing with what to say, she sputters out "T-try this. It'll look infinitely better on you!"
>Brittney snatches the lipstick, her eye raised a bit. She checks out the stick and removes her own make-up.
>The cheerleader applies this new colour and puckers her lips in the mirror.
>Hope puts on the biggest smile as Brittney walks toward her. "Thanks, loser. You were right with your choice. I owe you one favour. Don't spend it without thought." Brittney announces
>Hope was stunned, a favour from the most popular girl in the school? "O-oh it's no-" She starts
>But is immediately interrupted. "This is a big deal. I can't go in public looking less than perfect." The serious cheerleader continues on. "You goody two-shoes don't get it. When I owe a favour, I pay it back. Whenever you decide what you want let me know. "
>Brittney leaves through the door.
>Hope yells after her "Oh you can keep the stick!"
>A moment after the cheer captain leaves, the hope-filled girl wonders aloud "I wonder what I could ask for from Brittney."

>"Hooooope." The girl in question interrupts Hope's train of thought. "What do you think?"
>"Of what?" Answers Hope, a bit embarrassed about missing the convo.
>Jackie chuckles. "We're talking about going to someone's house to study, silly. I was thinking my place since you both have your family problems. That and my mom wants to try a new recipe inspired by the snarly wave she rode yesterday."
>The key thief rolled her eyes. "Well my stomach won't be too gnarly after trying it." She sat up and looked at her baked bean sandwich. "At least I'll have a filling meal beforehand."
>The trio laughed.
>"Well I'd be alright with going to Jackie's" Hope said while carefully eating her beans. She didn't want to replace her foundation too many times in one day.
>"What're we studying?" Janna asks, mouth full of food. Spraying everywhere.
>Jackie flicks a piece of chewed bean off of her board. "Well I know you weren't paying attention to the lesson that Skullnick brought up today. I saw how you were paying attention to someone else."
>Janna's face turns a deep scarlet. At the moment of her interjection, she started to choke on her bean sandwich.
>Hope immediately got up started hitting the choking girl's back.
>A whole piece of bread popped out
>Hope put on the most confused face, while Jackie laughed so hard she started snorting.
>Janna wiped a tear away and sat down in her chair. She slouches so much it looks like she's melting.
>The hope filled girl goes back to her seat and sighs. "You know, you can just tell him you-. What are you doing?"
>Lazy chair loving Janna took her extra pieces of bread and put it to her own ears. "I'm not listening. La-la-la-la"
>"You look more like an idiot sandwich" Hope retorts.
>Jackie starts laughing again. She can't handle all these jokes and falls outta her chair.
>The other two start laughing along, not as hard though.
>Jackie, between breaths, says. "I love you guys so much!"
>Janna straightens up and beams a smile.
>You could say the other girl was really filled hoppiness.
>They all get into a group hug.
