Warm Place

>You see a pink mare with 4 foals on her back.
>Shes scraping at your door with a worried expression on her face.
>"Mama...cowd"
>Mama hoofies huwt...wan wawm..."
>"Wah...why daddies weaf us in twash?"
>"Wawm..."
>"Oooh baebes! Mama twyin! Mama twyin! Twy find wawm pwace!"
>She scrapes again on the door.
>"Pwese...wet fwuffy in..haf babes...jus' tiww cowd go wai'"
>Sigh. You can't leave these things in the cold.
>She scrapes again and hangs her head dejectedly.
>"Mama no fine wawm pwace babes...mama twy fine twash can to sweep in...maybe cowd go 'wai in mawnin'.."
>"Mama...wawm..."
>"Weggies cowd...fwuffy cowd..."
>"Wah..."
>"Wah...cowd..."
>She begins to slowly walk away but you open the door.
>The sudden light makes her turn around and she lets out a "Eek!"
>"Come in, warm place."
>"Wawm? Hooman wet fwuffy in? Wet baebes in? No huwt?"
>"Warm, no hurt."
>She eyes you for a seconds but then look at the foals on her back.
>She realizes if she wants her babies to live she has no other choice.
>She slowly walks in and you close the door behind her.
>"Wawm?" the foals all ask.
>"Yes, warm." you tell them.
>"Mama! Wawm!"
>"Nice man wet mama in!"
>"Yaay!"
>"Weggies feew good!"
>The mare looks at you with her tired pink eyes.

>"Tank yoo...hewp fwuffy."
>"Come on, lets get you guys warmed up." you say to them.
>"WAWM!" the foals happily shout.
>You give them a nice warm bath at which they mewl softly as it soothes them.
>You dry the foals and the mare off and they all hop back on their mothers back.
>"Mama wide!" they happily shout as they hop on.
>The snuggle her fluff and mewl.
>"Wuv baebes!" she mewls to them.
>"Wuv mama!" they happily say as they snuggle her more.
>"So you guys want food?" you ask them.
>"No spaghetti, it's a bit late and will take too long. I can microwave soup for you but that's it right now."
>"Wah soup?" the mare asks.
>"Its a tasty water that has some small spaghetti in it and other things like chicken." you say to her.
>"Wan' soup! Soup!" the babies shout.
>"Okay mista.. soup pwese."
>You heat up chicken noodle soup, but not to hot.
>They quickly lap it down and thank you for feeding them.
>You set up a little bed of blankets for them next to your bed and tell them they can sleep there.
>The mare lays down and he foals snuggle around her.
>"Wuv babees sweep good baebes!"
>"Wub mama! Sweep good mama!"
>You put a blanket over them as they drift off to sleep.
>"Tanks nice man..." you hear the mare say.
>"Tanks mista!" the fluffies shout in unison.
>You smile at them and lay down in your bed and go to sleep.

>Wake up at some weird tickling on your arm.
>Look around and see the mare and the babies all around you, snuggling.
>The mare was scratching herself and woke you up.
>She sees your up and panics.
>"Pwse no huwt! no mean wake up mista! Sawy sawy!" she whispers to you.
>You grab her and pull her in close and snuggle the little fluffy.
>"Now now, daddy isn't mad."
>"Daddy? New Daddy? Weawwy?"
>You close your eyes and whisper to her "Yes, really."
>"Wuv daddy..." she says as she snuggles you.
>You feel more movement on the bed and feel her foals under the covers next to you.
>"Wuv new daddy!" they mewl as they hug you.
>"Love fluffies." you tiredly say to them.
>Drift off to sleep with your new fluffy friends.
