Pokemon Easy Type Nuzlocke

A Pokémon that faints is considered “dead.”
I may only catch the first Pokémon in an area that contains new encounters (ie, only one Pokémon in Route 1, but if multiple floors of a dungeon have different encounter lists, I can catch one on each new encounter list)
I must nickname a Pokémon before using it. (If before the Name Rater, I am allowed to use PokéSav to edit its name only)
Defeating a major boss (Gym leader, N, Plasma “admins”, etc) for the first time earns me one extra “life.”
 An Elite Four member does not count as a major boss, only Ghetsis/Alder
I can use a “life” to bring back a Pokémon once per Pokémon, outside of battle only.
I am allowed to either catch a shiny Pokémon (ignoring rule 2) or knock it out to earn one extra “life.”
If I white-out, I can opt to save the last team member knocked out.


KO = Death rule doesn't take place until I reach the first gym town (Striaton City)
