  1. The purpose of this project is that the student should be aware of how a
  2. can be systematically organize a network structure with classical subnetting
  3. and VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masking).
  4. Before this project commences should have read Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 of the
  5. course book and the section of the book VLSM VLSM Made Easy (see
  6. weekly programming).
  7. Task 1: Classic Subnetting
  8. a) Select a suitable network address in class C.
  9. b) Create a subnet mask that divides the 256 computer ID in 14 networks
  10. or subnet.
  11. c) Specify what each subnet must for network ID.
  12. d) Specify the host range for each subnet.
  13. e) specify the broadcast address for each subnet.
  14. Task 2: VLSM
  15. You have assigned the IP address 192.168.10.0 / 24th With it, you
  16. using VLSM create an addressing scheme that covers the need
  17. for each subnet in the topology below. Remember that the three
  18. WAN links are included in the planning and that these require two host
  19. addresses each. The task presented appropriate in a table
  20. like the summary table "Administrator's Network
  21. IP Plan table "given in the example Implementing VLSM # 2
  22. book VLSM Made Easy.
