Raven x Celica: I think I did alright?

Raven sighed, brushing her hair out of her eyes. Night had well and truly descended on New Los Angeles. The streets were empty save for a few of the small balls of fur called Nopon hurrying to somewhere.
‘Raven?’ A familiar, warm voice came from an alleyway. She turned instantly and hurried down the alleyway. Raven knew who the voice belonged to, someone she cared about immensely.
‘Celica!’ Raven smiled, throwing her arms around the Qlurian girl tightly. Celica was a beautiful young woman, human in appearance save for her ears which were akin to an animal’s. The pair pressed against each other and interlocked their fingers together. ‘You have no idea how good it is to see you right now.’ Raven’s smile was wider than it had ever been.
‘Are you alright, Raven?’ Celica sounded worried, looking Raven up and down to see if she could find the problem.
‘I don’t want to talk about it right now, I haven’t seen you all day.’ Raven replied, soothing Celica. ‘You had dinner yet?’ She needed the distraction badly.
‘Now that you mention it…’ Celica smiled suddenly and uncharacteristically, she bolted off towards the hangar, dragging Raven along with her.

NLA looked so different from above. The lives below seemed so insignificant. High above, the skies glowed with millions of stars. Talon Peak was the tallest point in Primordia, gigantic and towering over NLA it was a popular spot for couples to come out to. Tonight, no one had come to the peak and it was just Raven and Celica. Celica carried a basket with her. They’d left Raven’s skell behind them so they could get back down to the ground.
‘Everything looks so different up here.’ Celica smiled, sitting on the edge of the peak, her legs dangling over nothing. Raven sat down carefully next to her, resting her head on Celica’s shoulder. The moonlight was bright and Celica’s face seemed to be glowing. Raven sighed happily, reaching one hand up and ever so gently stroking Celica’s furry ear. She felt Celica quiver slightly and smiled.
‘You’re so cu—‘ Before Raven could finish the sentence, Celica had pressed a long and deep kiss to her lips. Goosebumps erupted all over Raven’s body as she froze. Slowly, she started to kiss back and her arms pulled Celica closer. Raven wasn’t sure exactly how long they had kissed for, it could have been minutes or it could’ve been hours.  When the pair broke apart, they fell back and stared up at the starry skies above. Celica inched over, resting her head on Raven’s chest and the couple joined hands. Raven was happier than she had ever been in her life. The picnic basket lay forgotten as the pair stargazed. Absentmindedly, Raven found herself stroking Celica’s ear again and Celica giggled on occasion. Qlurian ears were extremely sensitive and Celica didn’t like people touching them. Raven was the only one Celica allowed, it was her way of saying she loved Raven. She closed her eyes as Celica made herself more comfortable. There was a gasp from Celica few moments later.
‘Raven, open your eyes!’ Celica nudged her. Raven shook her head to wake herself up. High above in the star filled night, blue lights flashed past at incredible speed. The pair got to their feet, supporting each other as they did. Raven put her hand on Celica’s cheek and smiled, leaning in to kiss Celica. Celica wrapped her arms around Raven’s neck and kissed back.
