... and another weighty crate landed on the wooden cart, eliciting a screeching, crackly noise out of the poor thing. Accompanied by the cold breeze and slowly falling veil of snow, life seemed to prevail within the peaceful white haze of the small town. Ponies of different races continued work next to warehouses, stacking the boxes on carts and covering them with protective sheets... However not everything around was lively and huffing as a red-tinted gaze carefully observed the work not to far away from the bustling commotion. The silent watcher seemed to merge together with the snowing mist as his cold gaze was making him seem lifeless...

Back within town's walls, a lonely flier skittered among snowflakes. The piece of paper was soaken wet and ragged: a pitiful shadow of it's past pristine self... but even in its sorry state in comparison to other fliers around the town, the paper continued to carry neatly written letters:

"Vault: General Announcement"
"The Board of Overseers is searching for volunteers who will be willing to assist Vault's staff in an upcoming expedition for a duration of one to more weeks. The voyage's purpose is to establish a habitable outpost four miles from the town's border in an attempt to secure essential resources for the community. The outpost will secure a site over abandoned diamond dog ruins which in their current state can provide participants with warmth (active springs) and safe accommodation within the cavern-based complex that everypony will be restoring.

We welcome and encourage you to join if you have experience with woodcutting, carpentry, construction work, masonry and mining or you wish to lend helping hooves. Expedition will be supplied with food, tools and essentials and upon outpost's completion, everypony will be rewarded with a 100 bits compensation.
