  1. Hi Mike,
  2.
  3. Well, I am excited for some things, and worried about other things.
  4. Is not clear exactly how Chrome will detect them. If there is some machine learning involved I am afraid there will be a lot of mistakes at the beginning.
  5.
  6. Exit pops will be blocked for sure.
  7. Sticky footer I do not think so. I think they did a survey and 90% of people said they are not intrusive. And if is a 320x50 is not close to 30%. But if is half of page, yes.
  8. For skins I do not know, I do not think is covered for now. So I guess it passes for now.
  9. General ad density on page is not the subject of this. This only takes in consideration ad formats, one by one. So if you have too many ads on the page, they will not be blocked by Chrome. But they may be subject to AdX policy or other network policies.
  10.
  11. In google webmaster tools you will see all the blocked ads.
  12. But the ones that are not yours (created by you), Taboola, DistictM you cannot do nothing about it. You can notify the network (but I guess they will get a lot of that, since once their format is not working on your site, it will not work on any site, so it will die).
  13. So some formats will just be removed from existence. Unless networks do not find ways to make them compliant.
  14. For the ones managed by you, like the sticky footer, if there are any issues we will have to address them. But for now, sticky footer is ok.
  15.
  16. Best,
  17. Alex
