This pastebin is regarding the suspension of user mw295, who was suspended from the round for the abuse of honest meta to gain a advantage over everyone (accusation pastebin here: http://pastebin.com/piQP0nNq .) The first thing to note about this pastebin is that it contains games that were from LAST ROUND and not this one; keep in mind the games where he played on Skippy and where he played on Mw. There are two factors that are relevant to this suspension, one being a warning that was issued by bronto and anthony regarding Skippy/Mw's previous play in the last round. The question at hand is here whether Skippy/Mw complied with the warning, and two other factors:

  3. 1. Did it give him an unfair advantage and how many games he did he win because of it?
  4. 2. Is the warning indicative of a change in style or attempt to adhere to it?

  6. I hope this pastebin can clear this up.

  8. I will be listing off games with the violation of OGI and honest meta in mind, and if any games indicate an unfair advantage because of it. Mw's playstyle is definitely not the cleanest but the fact of the matter is whether there is a sufficient amount of evidence in these games to completely dq his run. I will be starting from the last game he played to the very first one. Keep in mind that MW was issued a warning around the 23rd of july.

Something to note about these games is that mw DOES play very differently depending on his alignment for most cases, (and he does AtE more as town) but I don't believe that is something that matters too much considering that is just a playstyle more than anything, the real point is whether he is using that AtE in a way of honest meta.

  67. CONCLUSION: MW didn't do anything that is worth DQ'ing his whole run. There are some instances of him having slight OGI but overall there is nothing in here that is worth throwing a whole run away. His playstyle is borderline but there have been other instances in the past of borderline play. MW did not gain enough of an advantage to fully impact whether he won a trophy or not with honest meta, therefore he should be allowed to trophy. It can be argued that the AtE itself is a means of advantage but AtE is something that doesn't always need to be believed, and that some people are just easier reads than others. I'd like to believe that MW falls under that category.
