Marco and Star took a seat at the kitchen table, Marco having made some nacho's for Star who asked for them immediately, he laughed as she ate them by the handful for a second he thought she might choke; surprisingly his parents weren't home when they got back he was hoping they could all have a welcome back/birthday party for Star but Marco figures it can wait; as Star ate Marco examined his golden broadsword, his reflection looking back at him from the blade Marco thought it was the coolest thing ever although he sorta wished for a Katana which would be more his style because he's a ninja in training as he likes to say.

  7. "shiny huh?" asked Star stopping for a second from devouring the nachos.

"Yeah and sharp too; you have no idea how much Legend of Zelda LARPING I'm going to do with this...spoiler alert...A LOT" Marco said admiring his blade; "By the way I've also taken up LARPING so I may be gone a long time on weekends; just figured I should tell you seeing as how your my wife now or something" Marco said jokingly.

  11. "Hehehe yeah you better not come home with uhh LARPING hickies husband," Star said mockingly, yet also biting her lip in frustration. "Also whats LARPING?"

  13. Marco smiled, he had missed these conversations with Star.

  15. "Don't worry about it, there arent many girls LARPING these days anyways?" Marco said amused; but Star just narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

  17. "So is it like a sexual thing?" She asked causing Marco to burst out laughing; oh how he REALLY missed these conversations they always made his day just a little bit brighter.

  19. "No sorry I didn't mean to laugh but I guess I should catch you up on the things you've missed this past year huh?" Marco said wiping away tears of laughter.

  23. "Guess I'll start with some of the people we know, lets see oh get this Alphonso returned from Pixtopia"

  25. "Your kidding!" said Star wide-eyed.

  27. "Dead serious, his people over threw him and the queen guess he got too tyrannical but unfortunately they killed his wife so now he's a single father who lives with his parents and 274 pixie children"

  29. "Bullshit, really?" Star exclaimed.

  31. "Yea but pixies age real fast almost all of them are college age now and some have jobs, ever been handed a Big Mac by a pixie?, its something to see" Marco said almost laughing. "Well duh look who your talking to" replied Star; both laughed.

  33. "Ferg is still doing stand-up, he writes for Stephen Colbert now too, which reminds me I got tickets for his next show, your in right?

  35. "Of course" Star replied enthusiastically.

  37. "Janna's pregnant; surprised it didn't happen sooner to tell you the truth"

  39. Star stopped eating a nacho mid bite. "Woah"

  41. "Yeah and get this, Oskar's the father"

  43. Star shook her head "Oh Janna you could have done so much better"

"Maybe, maybe not you know I think she tried to roofie me once, but after all these years of you doing magic on me human drugs must have little to no affect on me I just know she kept insisting I drink her punch at a party a few months back and after I did I felt a little woozy, but it went away, Oskar was at this party and he drank it too, few weeks later she tells everyone she's pregnant and that Oskars the dad...so put two and two together on that one" Marco explained pretending to dodge a bullet like the matrix, "close one huh?"

  49. "Oh and Jackie is back in town..or least was we got together for lunch"

  51. Star raised an eyebrow in intrigue...she was kind of afraid of what Marco was going to tell her, she knew they dated briefly in High School but always felt they had something for all she knew Marco and her had already eloped or something. "So what happened?" she asked trying to keep calm.

"She told me about her career, shes a semi-pro skater now when you left she was still trying to get noticed if you remember, she also does modeling on the side...no real surprise there" Marco said chuckling. "But the big thing is and she said its ok for me to tell you since were all good friends, and its that well...she came out to me"

  55. Star was confused. "Like out of a cake?" Marco started to laugh again.

  57. "No, I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh uhm no I meant like she came out of the closet"

  59. 'SHE WAS IN YOUR CLOSET!?" Star exclaimed. Again Marco burst out laughing.

  61. "Sorry, sorry sorry I swear last time," Marco said regaining his composure. "She likes girls Star thats what she told me"

  63. "oooh," Star said feeling stupid. "I had no idea".

  65. "This might come of as a brag but she told me she knew for a while, it wasn't until we dated briefly in high school that she knew for sure; said if she couldn't love a total hunk of a sweetheart like me then she can't love any boy...ok that was totally a brag but she did say it"

  67. "aww well shes right you know, but I'm sorry that it can't work out" said Star looking far more at ease.

"pfft, I'm fine its all ancient history now, so much so the history channel will claim aliens played matchmaker; we moved on to better things and better futures, at one point I may have hoped that there is a thing like destiny that would bind me and Jackie together but there isn't we make our own futures..and if by chance our futures are predetermined then Jackie was not part of it, which means I have to wait for something better" Marco said admiring his sword.

  73. "She spoke really highly of you tho, she almost blushed the way she mentioned how you do your hair what I'm trying to say here is I may not have a chance with her but you in THAT dress yeah you might" Marco said with a grin.

  75. "haha shudup dummy," Said Star throwing a nacho at his head, but Marco just caught it with his mouth and ate it.
