  1. 119- 138
  2. But yesterday the word of Caesar might
  3. have stood against the world; now lies he there.
  4.
  5.
  6. And none so poor to do him reverence.
  7. O masters, if I were disposed to stir
  8. Your hearts and minds to mutiny and rage,
  9. I should do Brutus wrong, and Cassius wrong,
  10. Who, you all know, are honourable men:
  11. I will not do them wrong; I rather choose
  12. To wrong the dead, to wrong myself and you,
  13. Than I will wrong such honourable men.
  14. But here's a parchment with the seal of Caesar;
  15. I found it in his closet, 'tis his will:
  16. Let but the commons hear this testament—
  17. Which, pardon me, I do not mean to read—
  18.
  19. And they would go and kiss dead Caesar's wounds
  20. And dip their napkins in his sacred blood,
  21. Yea, beg a hair of him for memory,
  22.
  23.
  24. And, dying, mention it within their wills,
  25. Bequeathing it as a rich legacy
  26. Unto their issue.
