100%: Safer Adult Wallet Cycle 1 Notes

Main Idea:

Do TF rupees in cycle 1, as normal, and if you happen to get lucky enough to get 99r after the first 7 patches, go back into ect, deposit 99r at bank, then get 99r chest, then enter nct, get magic, then deposit 99r for adult's wallet, then go to clock tower. This skips getting the ECT Chest Cycle 2. If you get 99r after first 6 patches it saves roughly 17.5s, if you get 99r after first 7 patches, it saves roughly 10s, if you get 99r after first 8 patches, it might break even. Could use more testing because some of the results below are rough and definitely not perfect

canyon gossips patch before 9:30
canyon gossips -> bank = 55m	(gigo)
bank -> ect chest = 6:13 to 6:45 = 32m

(can finish patch before canyon gossips at 9:05)

bank at 10:25
ect chest at 10:57

chest -> nct = 16-17m (gigo)

nct -> enter fountain = 7:28 to 7:45 (bad movement) = 17m


exit tf -> enter fountain = 55m + 32m + 17m + 17m = 2h01m


(latest time you can enter fairy fountain and not be late is at about 10:52)

10:52 - 2h01m = 8:51

Can finish the patch BEFORE the patch BEFORE the canyon gossips patch BEFORE 8:51 (this means 99r in 6 patches as this is the 6th patch)

9th patch is about 16m (7.2s real time) detour

How much real time does this ideally save compared to only doing TF rupees in cycle 1?

tf has 1 extra lz compared to chest and saves about 9s, so we lose 9s and lose time to 5 lzs (1 lz is roughly 2.5s, so 5 lzs is roughly 12.5s), so we lose roughly 9 + 12.5 = 21.5

This skips ECT chest in Cycle 2 which saves about 39s at the start of cycle 2
22:12.04 to 22:58.84 = 46.8
takes roughly 7s to enter ect otherwise

39-21.5 = 17.5s saved compared to normal TF rupee route (and thus 17.5 + 9 = 26.5 saved compared to inn chest route)

it is a roughly 7s detour to go for 7th patch, so if you can get 99r after first 7 patches (14r/patch on average), then you can still save roughly 10s compared to normal tf rupee route. We need more precise timings to know if other patches are still worth it, but it is safe to say that if you have 99r after 7 patches, it is worth getting adult's wallet cycle 1.
