[15:02] <GM||WavemasterRyx> When we last left our heroes they were smack in the middle of one of the most awkward dinners to possibly have ever happened. Here's hoping at least the food is good.
[15:03] <Swept_Wing> Stormwing was about to tell one of his, well, infamous stories. The facts could get kinda muddled though...
[15:04] * High_Hopes taps her hooves together, trying to think of a polite way of asking if she could just go back to the ship....
[15:05] <Swoop> Lillywing simply eats politely, letting her husband relive the glory days of his family. They are mildly ammusing at times.
[15:05] <Swept_Wing> "Well, my great-great-great-great grandpa was the best damn Vertibuck pilot this Air Force ever had, and you're named after him Swept. Now, let me tell you about this time when he wrestled a bear."
[15:06] * Swoop facehoofs, grinning. "Oh no, dad, not that one..."
[15:06] * High_Hopes frowns a little. Fluttershy wrestled bears too...
[15:06] * Swept_Wing chuckles. "Hehehe, this one's good."
[15:06] * Astera rasies a eyebrow at that. Not expecting that turn of event. "A bear, oh my. He must have been quite the large pony."
[15:06] <Swept_Wing> "So there he was. Between the bear... and a bunny. This bunny was counting, nay, DEPENDING on him to protect it. And was he gonna let that cute furry thing down? Hell no."
[15:08] <Swept_Wing> "Now, the bear was 3, no 4 times his size, and had huge, razor sharp pointy teeth, and a roar that shook the ground. But ol' Wing, he landed his Vertibuck right on top of it!"
[15:08] <Swept_Wing> "Splat went the bear, day saved. Only, he'd misjudged the distance between the bunny and the bear, and well... You can imagine. Hossenfeffer."

[15:08] * Swoop giggles a bit. "Take that bear."
[15:09] * High_Hopes blaches. "H-He... killed it?"

[15:10] * Swoop bursts out laughing. "Seems that, for a pilot, he had terrible depth perception but a great tongue for new recipies!"
[15:10] * Astera nods, smiling, then blinks. Giggling a little, covering her mouth with a hoof. "Ahaha, well. Heh, that was quite the war story indeed. I do feel sorry for the bunny though." She glances at High_Hopes, then, returning to her food.
[15:11] <Swept_Wing> Storm chuckles. "Well, that's the way I was told it happened. The facts might have gotten slightly muddled over 200 years though."
[15:11] <Swoop> "You shouldn't be. The intelligent ones are jerks, I hear."
[15:12] * Chameleon has kind of tuned stormwing out is quietly munching on noms
[15:12] <Swoop> Lilly looks up at Storm. "Dear, I don't think this is proper dinner conversation."
[15:13] * High_Hopes lowers hr gaze. "But..."
[15:14] <Swept_Wing> Storm frowns. "But it's my best story!" He says in protest. "Unless you'd like the one about the time where I single hoofedly took on a pack of wild gators..."
[15:15] * High_Hopes says quietly. "Please... don't..."
[15:15] <Swoop> "Storm..."
[15:16] * Astera places a carefull hoof at High_Hopes side. Smiling gently at her, then sitting straight again she glances at Lily, smiling. And with a atempt to derail the conversation. "This is a lovely dinner, I have to suggest it too the chefs onboard destiny."
[15:16] <Swoop> "You're upsetting our guests. Why don't you tell one that doesn't involve mutilation beneath one of those machines?"
[15:17] <Swoop> Lilly turns to Astera. "It's nothing special. Just something I've been working on for a while. I dabble in experimental cooking from time to time."
[15:17] * High_Hopes jumps a little at the hoof, but smiles just as gently back at Astera. She's sort of wondering why her family dinners were never like this...
[15:19] <Swept_Wing> Storm frowns. "Oh? Terribly sorry about that. Uhh... well, hmm..." He scratches his moustache, thinking.
[15:19] * Astera takes a drink, glancing at Lily over the tip of the glance. "Mhm, it does taste lovely. Im guessing you work as a chef, then? Or is it more of a hobby perhaps?"
[15:20] * Clara isn't really sure how to react to these stories. She glances over to Hopes in sympathy.
[15:21] <Swoop> Lily nods. "It's a hobby. Truth be told I'm actually a floral arranger."
[15:24] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods, putting a hoof around Lily. "Best one in all of Baltimare."
[15:25] * Astera nods at Lily. "Ah, I would not have guessed that with this level of cooking. Heh, if you care for your flowers as you do your food I'm sure you are a excelent floral arranger." With Storms comment she smiles gently at them both.
[15:25] <Swoop> Lily grins proudly..
[15:25] <Swoop> "Why, thank you."
[15:27] <Astera> "You two must be very proud, having both your children be part of Destiny."
[15:28] <Swoop> Lily's grin droops very slightly, but her voice remains chipper. "Indeed we are."
[15:29] * High_Hopes looks down at her lap. I'm sure they are...
[15:29] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods. "Indeed. They're the best pilots I've seen in all my years with the EAF. I'm sure they're serving well."
[15:30] * Astera smirks slightly, glancing over Swept and Swoop.
[15:30] * Swoop looks away, sheepishly.
[15:32] * Swept_Wing blushes, looking at the table intently.
[15:33] <Swept_Wing> "Just, you know, doing our jobs Dad."
[15:33] * Swoop mutters something under her breath. Lily's ear twitches. "I'm glad to hear it."
[15:35] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods. "So, what do the rest of you do?" He asks with a smile.
[15:36] * High_Hopes is almost unmistakeably a doctor, judging from the stethoscope around her neck and starched white labcoat. "I'm... a doctor..." She says quietly.
[15:37] * Astera blinks, smiling at them both before turning back at their parents. "Mm, well. I am mostly acting as a diplomat for the mane team. The, friendly aproach, is always to be prefered."
[15:38] <Chameleon> "Security for the ship, usually, When I'm not assigned on missions with everyone else here."
[15:42] * Astera nods. "Of course, we have duties whiles not on mission, lately, however. We've been on assignment almost daily. This, has been quite the needed break." She says with a polite nod at Lily and Storm
[15:43] * Swoop nods. "Yeah, they've been working us pretty hard the last few stops."
[15:45] * Swept_Wing nods. "Yep. Bruised ribs hurt."
[15:46] <Astera> "Good thing that Hopes here is such a skilled doctor."
[15:46] * High_Hopes stares at her lap again. "Well... I wouldn't... s-say that..."
[15:49] * Astera gives Swept_Wing a look that basicly screams 'Isnt it.'
[15:50] * Swept_Wing nods. "You're a great doctor Hopes." He smiles.
[15:53] * Swoop pipes up. "Hopes is best doctor. Better than that shipboard asshole, anyway." Which earns her a swat from Lily. "Language, young filly."
[15:54] * Swept_Wing chuckles.
[15:54] <Swoop> "Well he is!"
[15:54] <Astera> "He can be quite... Straightforward, yes."
[15:54] <Swept_Wing> "I'm going to agree with you on that sis. He's a bit of a dick."
[15:55] <Swoop> "Swept!"
[15:55] * Swept_Wing cackles.
[15:55] * High_Hopes fidgets a little. "Well... Uncle Vial is... a good doctor... maybe not a good pony... though..."
[15:56] <Swept_Wing> Storm just chuckles. "Say what you gotta say kids.
[15:56] <Swept_Wing> "*
[15:56] <Swoop> Lilly fumes. "I'll not have such language at my dinner table. You'll both clean it up or I'll send you both to your rooms."
[15:57] * Astera raises a eyebrow at Lillys comment. Then, too High Hopes. "Ah, Dr Vial is your uncle? I did not know."
[15:58] * Swept_Wing looks over at High_Hopes. "Whoa, Doctor Dipshit is your Uncle?"
[15:58] <Swoop> "You're related to that??"
[15:58] * Chameleon flicks an ear in surprise then shrugs
[15:58] <Swoop> Lily stands abruptly. "SWEPT! Room. NOW!"
[15:58] * High_Hopes frowns at Swept_Wing and Swoop. "Don't say things like that about him! If it weren't for him... I wouldn't be on Destiny at all!"
[15:59] * Astera blinks, ruffles her wings slightly and says nothing as the shouting takes place.

[16:00] <Swept_Wing> Storm leans over. "Honey, calm down."
[16:01] <Swoop> Lilly sits back down, seeming to compose herself. "I will /not/ have such language durring meals."
[16:02] * Swept_Wing smiles apoligetically to High_Hopes. "Sorry Hopes."
[16:02] * High_Hopes looks away from Swept_Wing and sniffs a little.
[16:03] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods. "Your mother's right. Cut that s-err-crap out. Don't need to hurting anypony's feelings now."
[16:04] * Swoop looks around the table, then at her parent.. "Well, getting past the doctor and his troubles (imagined or not) how are you two doing?"
[16:04] * Astera nods slightly. She pushes her plate forward, all finished.
[16:10] * Clara thinks for a moment, then takes out a bottle of wine. "Please! Let us relax." She places the bottle on the table, with a smile.
[16:11] <Swoop> Lily examines the bottle. "Well... I don't think I've had this vintage before."
[16:13] * Astera smiles. "Ah, excelent idea Clara."
[16:14] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods. "What wine is it?" He asks, leaning over to look at the bottle.
[16:14] * Clara is still smiling. "It is my personal favorite."
[16:14] <Swoop> Lilly moves to clear the table and set out some wine glasses.
[16:14] * High_Hopes is fairly certain that Hopes isn't old enough to drink. "Do you have anything... non-alcoholic?"
[16:19] <GM||WavemasterRyx> In the middle of talk over the wine, Clara, Hopes, and Chameleon each hear a series of soft thuds in the distance, some quieter than others.
[16:20] * Swoop nudges the wine bottle. "Ugh.. Dad, do you have any rum?"
[16:21] * High_Hopes flicks her ears a little.
[16:22] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods. "Sure do. I'll grab some."
[16:23] * Clara gives a confused look around. "Did... any of you hear something just now?"
[16:23] * Swoop grins. She won't be left out of the alcohol joy due to biased of taste.
[16:23] * Swept_Wing perks his ears. "Hmm?"
[16:23] * Swoop looks at Clara. "Hear what?"
[16:24] * High_Hopes nods to Clara. "It sounded like... something... fell or... a loud thud..."
[16:24] * Astera takes the wine bottle with her magic, starting to pour it into the glasses.
[16:24] <GM||WavemasterRyx> It takes a few moments, but Hopes is able to recognize the sound. Explosions.
[16:24] * High_Hopes blanches. "Or... explosions!"
[16:24] <Chameleon> "...What?!"
[16:25] <Swept_Wing> Storm stands suddenly. "Explosions?"
[16:25] <Swoop> "Wait what??
[16:25] <Swoop> "
[16:25] <Swoop> Lily blanches. "Explosions?"
[16:25] * Swept_Wing frowns. "That... can't be good."
[16:26] * Swoop immediately gets to her hooves and runs out the front door, taking to the air as soon as she's outside.
[16:26] <GM||WavemasterRyx> An alert sounds off on each of your PipBucks, a large message displaying, "All units return to base immediaely!"
[16:26] * Chameleon checks her pipbuck and immediately stands "We've got to go."
[16:26] * Swept_Wing leaps to his hooves. "Sorry Mom and Dad, we gotta go!"
[16:27] * High_Hopes scrambles to get her bags on and flops out the door.
[16:27] <Swoop> Lily looks at Swept. "Be safe. And keep your sister out of trouble."
[16:27] * Astera stops pouring the wine, ears perking up as she looks at the others. "...So much for a relaxing vacation.. " At Ms and Mr Wing. "Many appologies, it apears taht this dinner has to be cut short. We should do it again sometime. " Nodding at them both she heads for the door.
[16:28] * Swept_Wing salutes. "Of course Mom." He gallops after Swoop. "Swoop! Wait up!"
[16:28] <Swoop> Lily nods at Astera. "You're all welcome back any time."
[16:28] * Chameleon bolts outside, grabbing her bags as she passes, and takes to the air upon reaching the exit
[16:30] * Clara blinks and gathers her things, following right behind.
[16:31] <Swept_Wing> Storm has moved outside as well, waving goodbye as he flew off towards the base he was stationed at.
[16:31] <Swoop> Lily leans against Storm. "They'll be alright, won't they?"
[16:31] * Astera picks up her bags on the way out. Levitating High_Hopes up on her back before taking too the air, following after the others.

[16:32] * High_Hopes flails for a moment before realizing that this was the best thing ever. She clings tightly to Astera, being the best Doctor Bag.
[16:32] <Swoop> Lily watches them all leave.
[16:33] * Astera heads straight for base, looking around as she does so. Explosions usualy meant smoke.
[16:33] * Swoop arrives at base first, having left everyone behind. She looks around for that Sterling pony.

[16:34] <Swoop> [redacts her redact and the following emotions]
[16:35] <Swept_Wing> Storm nods, watching them leave with her. "I'm sure they'll be fine honey. They can take care of themselves." He nuzzles her.
[16:36] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Sterling nods, pointing towards one of the base's buildings, "We have a portal straight to the Castle set up. This way, I'll explain what I can."
[16:37] * Swept_Wing nods. "Lead the way!"
[16:37] * High_Hopes holds on tight. She's whimpering a little.
[16:37] * Astera follows Swoop and Swept. "What is happening? What was those explosions?"
[16:39] * Swoop ([email protected]) Quit ( Ping timeout: 121 seconds )
[16:40] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The guard opens the door, trotting brisquely down the hallway, "A coordinated bombing of 20 starship-building facilities across Equestria... We're not sure how many are injured, but the facilities seem to have been the main target, there's been minimal confirmed deaths."
[16:41] <Chameleon> "Terrorists?"
[16:41] <Chameleon> "Perhaps the factions that wants to end our current exploration?"
[16:42] * High_Hopes shudders. "T-Terrorists? B-But..."
[16:42] * Clara frowns. "Oh no..."
[16:42] <GM||WavemasterRyx> He nods again, "They're calling themselves the 'Children of Equestria's Dawn'."
[16:42] * Swept_Wing frowns. "Like we didn't have enough problems already."
[16:43] * Mister_Clacky ([email protected]) has joined #fruityrumpusassholefactory
[16:44] * Astera frowns. "Has Destiny been notified? Any attacks on the ship itself?"

[16:45] * High_Hopes 's heart sinks. "What?!"
[16:45] <Chameleon> "...WHAT?!"
[16:46] * Chameleon speeds up, pushing sterling ahead of her "Faster!"
[16:47] <GM||WavemasterRyx> "We recieved soul-transmission from the communications officer, saying that systems all over the ship were being locked down, but before we could get any further information, the transmission was cut off."
[16:47] <Swept_Wing> "Get us there! NOW!"
[16:48] * High_Hopes nods vigorously, still on Astera's back. "Now!"
[16:49] <Astera> "The gate is still functional right?!"
[16:50] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Sterling reaches the door at the end of the hall and rams it open with his shoulder, not bothering with the handle. Inside is a small glowing portal in the middle of a circle of runes, "We were able to make a connection through the Castle's Gate, but all transmissions were jammed."
[16:52] * High_Hopes ([email protected]) Quit ( Quit: See you ! )
[16:53] * Chameleon barrels through the portal
[16:53] * Swept_Wing reaches into his bag as he galloped, pulling his revolver out, galloping through the portal as well.
[16:54] * Astera nods at Sterling, watching her friends rush through the portal.. Cammy still in her swimsuit? "Anything else?"
[16:56] * Clara is definitely nervous about this. She's not good at this combat thing! She feels pretty helpless.
[16:58] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Sterling shakes his head, "Assume they are all armed and extremely dangerous, and that they might have explosives somewhere on the ship. Good luck." Coming out the other side of the portal, you appear in a room off the grand hall. You can see Canterlot Castle's Gate already connected and waiting, a pair of Royal Guards flanking it.

[17:06] <Swept_Wing> "Alright, I'll go through first, the rest of you follow on 3-second intervals."
[17:07] * Swoop nods.
[17:08] * Chameleon doesn't even listen, mostly because she was the first through and already on her way to the second portal
[17:09] <Swept_Wing> /me cocks the hammer back on his revolver. "Here we go!" He charges through.
[17:10] * Astera waits for her turn, Hopes still on her back as she gallops through the portal.
[17:11] * Swoop follows thru the gate. "Here I come assholes!"
[17:17] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Charging through the Gate, Cammy is first to arrive back on Destiny. Facing her is a dark Gate Room, lit only by the open gate connection. All three of the doors immediately ahead are closed.
[17:19] * Clara is one of the last to head through. She doesn't want to be a liability.
[17:20] * Chameleon skids to a stop, but not quick enough to avoid slamming into the closed doors
[17:21] * Swept_Wing skids to a halt behind Chameleon. "Whoa!"
[17:22] * Swoop flaps to a sliding stop behind them
[17:23] * Astera apears only a few seconds later, skidding to a stop and moving off to the side. It was getting croweded with ponies infront of the gate. "We too first?" She says, nodding at hte doors.
[17:23] * Swoop glances around. "I need my pistol..."
[17:24] <Swept_Wing> "We'll need to get back to out rooms..."
[17:25] * Swept_Wing frowns, trotting over towards one of the doors and attempting to open it.
[17:25] <GM||WavemasterRyx> A light flashes on from above and behind the group as the gate closes, a stallion's voice calling out, "Who goes there?!"
[17:25] <Swoop> "It's A-team!"
[17:26] * Swept_Wing whirls, snapping his revolver up. "I should be asking the same of you!" He retorts.
[17:26] * Chameleon is a little dazed for slamming into the door
[17:29] * Astera twirls around on the spot to face the voice.
[17:29] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The light is coming from the pony's PipBuck, which they're holding away from their body, "Lieutenant Ice Ring. Is the Countess with you?"
[17:30] * Swept_Wing lowers his weapon. "Yessir, she is."
[17:31] * Astera calls out, taking a step forward. "Yes, I am here. What's the situation?"
[17:35] * Clara hangs back a little.
[17:37] <GM||WavemasterRyx> There's a pause for a few moments before the PipBuck lowers, the pony dropping his leg back to the deck, "Dr. Kaifa has taken control of the ship... She seems to have activated the blast doors, and all ships systems are down... Except PipBuck to PipBuck broadcasts... she sent a message down here that she wanted to talk to you... Are... you on her side?"
[17:38] <Swoop> "Never met the bitch."
[17:39] * Swept_Wing shakes his head. "And we sure as hell aren't on her side sir."
[17:39] * Astera frowns, nodding at Ice Ring. Ignoring his question. "I see." she scrolls through her pipbuck for a moment, in a atempt to access Dr Kaifas tag and contact her.
[17:43] * Clara doesn't know the pony. She wonders why she'd steal control of the ship!
[17:43] <GM||WavemasterRyx> "Alright." Kaifa's tag is still in Astera's PipBuck, and the broadcast seems to connect without any problems.

[17:51] <Swoop> "Ok, so we're all good guys. Anyone got a pistol I can use? Preferably energy."

[17:53] * Astera flicks her connection to Kaifa open and speaks into her Pipbuck. "This is Astera speaking, it apears that  you've taken over the ship? Why?"
[17:54] * Chameleon wiggles out of her swimsuit while they have time to wait, and places it back into her bags, pulling out her pony shoes in return
[17:55] * Swept_Wing twirls his revolver, waiting.
[17:57] * Chameleon didn't take her sqimsuit off (Again) you silly.
[17:57] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The zebra's voice comes back over the PipBuck, "So you've made it back safe, Countess. I told you something would be done about the dangers space exploration is putting this ship and her crew into, and something has been done."
[17:58] <Chameleon> "Yea. Something's been done all right, It's been put in danger. by you, Go figure."
[17:58] * Chameleon doesn't say that overly loud, she's jnot the diplomat
[17:58] * Swoop smirks at Cammy. "Well spoke."
[17:58] * Chameleon or maybe she did. Schrodinger's speech.
[17:59] <Astera> "Yes, I agree that something had to be done. But this wasn't it. Please deactivate teh blast doors and return the ship to its function and Im sure we can talk through."

[18:03] <GM||WavemasterRyx> "I'm afraid I can't deactivate them quite yet, Countess, we're not nearly close enough to the star yet to make proper demands."
[18:03] <Swoop> "Wait... did she say 'star'?"

[18:05] * Chameleon looks at her companions and speaks quietly "There are manual overrides for these doors, right?"
[18:05] * Astera looks up, and over at her companions. Ears drooping slightly. A star...? "Please think this through Kaifa, you do now want to do such a drastic thing Im sure... And what demands do you have?"
[18:06] * Swept_Wing frowns. "There should be... Once we get them open I'm heading directly for the Flight Interface Room."
[18:06] * Swoop shrugs at Cammy and says quietly, "Do I look like a toaster repair pony to you?"
[18:06] <Swept_Wing> "Let me take a look..." He trots over to one of the doors and begins looking for a way to open it.
[18:09] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Kaifa's voice drops a little, "Think of it, Countess... With all the energy that goes into the gate, and building these ships... think of just how strong a shield that could make... They could protect the entire planet with what they squander. A day from now, the Princesses shall have a choice; end the space program, or watch as Destiny dives helplessly into the center of the star."
[18:10] <GM||WavemasterRyx> There is a control panel next to the door, though all the controls are unresponsive, it may be possible to reprogram the door however.
[18:10] * Swept_Wing pulls the panel off and attempts to do just that.
[18:11] * Clara frowns. "Is there any way we can convince her...?
[18:12] * Astera blinks. "You would risk, your own life, and everypony elses on this ship for this cause? I agree on that there are dangerous things out in space, but there are also wonderful thing to discover, please Kaifa, think this over. This is not the right way."
[18:12] <Swoop> "With those kind of demands?? What'd the space program ever do to her?"
[18:13] <Chameleon> "Who are they to decide what is right for us?"
[18:16] <GM||WavemasterRyx> You can almost hear the zebra shake her head, "I thought you might understand, Countess... some things are worth risking your life for... but Equestria is not ready for this." She pauses, taking a breath right as Swept successfully opens the door, with a loud grinding sound, "I see, you won't stay put like a good hostage?"
[18:17] <Swept_Wing> "Got it! Go Go Go!"
[18:17] * Swoop gallops for her room.
[18:18] * Swept_Wing gallops towards the Flight Interface Room.
[18:18] <Chameleon> "Like hell we won't you crazy bitch. I'm personally coming there to stop you."
[18:18] * Chameleon charges, quickly taking the lead since she's gotta go fast changeling
[18:18] <Swept_Wing> "Time to turn this bucket of bolts around!"
[18:19] * Astera goes through teh door too, following Chameleon. "I understand your cause, not your methods. Kaifa, this needs to stop."
[18:20] * Clara calls out, "Please! This is not the way to make a difference!" She's not sure she'll have an effect, but she needs to try!
[18:20] <GM||WavemasterRyx> It's only a short distance down the hall before the team runs into another set of blast doors on their way to the upper decks, these ones scorched by lasers.
[18:21] <Swoop> "Swept, more door magic please!"
[18:22] <GM||WavemasterRyx> "It will stop. One way or the other..." There's a pause, and then she says something, like she isn't talking to you any more, "Do it."
[18:22] * Swept_Wing nods, sliding to a halt next to the doors, once more attempting to reprogram them.
[18:24] * Astera totaly told everypony where Kaifa's tag was. Cause damn it all.
[18:25] * Astera totaly didnt tell anypony where Kaifa's tag was, cause its not there.
[18:29] <Astera> "Do what, Kaifa? What are you doing?"
[18:33] * Clara is following Astera. She's not good at combat, but maybe she can help and try to be diplomatic.
[18:33] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Swept is able to find the proper crystal pathway to open the door, but when he tries to activate it, something inside the mechanism sparks, and the door fails to open. From down the hallway leading back to the Gate Room, there's a whistling sound as a spear of ice soars through the hall, exploding amid the group and tearing at them with blades of ice.
[18:33] <Swept_Wing> "OH SHIT!"
[18:34] * Clara cries out in pain! That hurt, a lot!
[18:34] * Chameleon gets thrown off her hooves with a howl of pain as she gets speared through the chest
[18:34] * Swept_Wing hit the deck as the blades whizzed past him.
[18:34] * Astera cries out as she is cut deep from the blades, her side filled with iceblades, bleeding profusely. Collapsing to her side with another cry of pain.
[18:35] * Swoop just stands there, a perplexed look on her face.
[18:36] * Clara is not a combat pony! She doesn't deal well with pain! She drops to the ground, curling up defensively.
[18:36] <Swoop> "...that just happened..."
[18:37] <Swept_Wing> "Swoop! Get this door open! I think I know who did that!" He charges back down the hall with a yell.
[18:37] * Swoop blinks. "Okay..."
[18:39] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Hopes takes the attack too, crying out in pain with the rest of the party. Not thinking of herself, she quickly looks to determine who is hurt worst, clambering to Astera's side to try and stabilize her badly injured friend.
[18:39] * Swoop gets to work on the door.
[18:44] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The pale blue unicorn approaches slowly down the hallway, his horn with a fading after-glow of his spell, "That's far enough. Just stay put, and you won't be harmed further."
[18:45] <Swept_Wing> "Fuck that bitch!"
[18:47] * Chameleon struggles to her hooves and roars in rage, taking off down the corridor at the unicorn in a complete beserker state
[18:49] * Swept_Wing steps out of the way of the Beserker-Cammy. "Whoa shit!"
[18:50] * Chameleon lashes out as she gets close, punctuating each hit with "YOU. FUCKED UP. MY SWIMSUIT!"
[18:54] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The unicorn is surprisingly solid, even as Chameleon can feel the snapping of bones under her hooves the unicorn doesn't fall. He cries out in pain though, coughing up blood over the deck to join that dripping through his armored sweater.
[18:56] * Swept_Wing plants and brings his revolver to bear on the unicorn. "Wrong move bucko, sorry about this." He fires off three shots.
[18:58] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Two of Swept's shots find their mark, punching holes into the unicorn and eliciting another cry of pain as more of his blood spatters onto the deck.
[19:00] * Astera lies there for a moment, breathing heavily, looking over at High Hopes she decides to reach out with her magic and forming a Alicorn sheild around her. Without her weapon she cannot assist much in combat anyway.
[19:03] * Clara is still curled up on the ground next to Astera. She whimpers in pain.
[19:07] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Ice Ring stumbles back a few steps, coughing out blood, "We... We just want to protect Equestria!" His horn blazes with white-blue light as he puts everything he can muster into the spell, sending another lance of ice straight at Chameleon.
[19:09] * Chameleon roars in Ice Ring's face as the spear hurtles towards her
[19:09] <Swept_Wing> "Well you're going about it the WRONG FUCKING WAY!"
[19:12] * Chameleon now looks like a pincushion with all the ice shards
[19:13] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The impact of the ice is enough to drive Chameleon back, sliding her a short distance as the vicious cold seeps into her body. Ice Ring has a victorious grin as he drops to a knee.
[19:14] <Swept_Wing> "Cammy!"
[19:14] * Chameleon curls up around the newest wound, shivering
[19:15] * Clara is in no shape to fight. Not that she even could if she /was/ in the shape to fight. She just lies there, nursing her injury.
[19:23] <GM||WavemasterRyx> High Hopes lets out an anguished squeak as she sees Chameleon take the spell. She hurriedly focuses her healing magic into Astera, trying to stabilize her beforerushing to Chameleon's side and trying to stabilize her.
[19:24] <Swept_Wing> "Hopes! Stay back!"
[19:25] * Swoop works on opening the door, because she's unarmed and sucks at hoof-to-hoof.
[19:28] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Hopes shakes her head, "I... I can't! She's too badly hurt!"
[19:28] * Swoop pokes prods and kicks  the doors...
[19:29] <GM||WavemasterRyx> This set of doors slowly grinds open too.
[19:30] <Swoop> "Got 'em!" She takes off for her room. "Be right back!"
[19:30] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Ice Ring coughs out more blood, dragging himself forward, "Stop!"
[19:31] <Swept_Wing> "Get through the doors! I'll take care of this bastard!"
[19:31] * Swoop is long gone.
[19:35] * Chameleon drags herself over to Ice Ring and weakly swings at him
[19:36] * Swoop ([email protected]) Quit ( Connection closed )
[19:38] <GM||WavemasterRyx> The swings unfortunately miss, only making Hopes panic as Chameleon exerting herself.
[19:39] * Swept_Wing trots over towards Ice Ring, staring him down. "Anything useful to say, traitor? Or should I just kill you?"
[19:42] <GM||WavemasterRyx> He stares up at Swept, blood dripping from his mouth and chest, "I'm not the traitor... it's you... You're the ones that have betrayed your own planet."
[19:42] * Swoop ([email protected]) has joined #fruityrumpusassholefactory
[19:43] * Swept_Wing snorts. "So be it then. Fuckwad." He fires three shots at him.
[19:46] <GM||WavemasterRyx> As the last of the three shots tears into the unicorn's body he drops to the deck with a wet thud, the last of his blood pooling around him.
[19:47] * Chameleon slumps to the ground, breathing raggedly
[19:48] * Swept_Wing snorts, reloading. "Alright, first order of buisness, you all need to get to medical ASAP, and I need to get up to the Interface Room."
[19:50] <GM||WavemasterRyx> High Hopes pours her magic into Chameleon, "P-please don't move!"
[19:50] * Astera groans and stands up slowly. Leaning against the hallway wall.
[19:51] * Swoop reaches her room and armors up, pistol and all. "Alright. Let's go fuck this bitch up." She races back to where she left everypony else.
[19:51] * Clara doesn't really move too much. She mutters an "Ow..." quietly, patiently waiting for Hopes to get around to her.
[19:53] * Chameleon can't exactly move very much at the moment anyways, so Hopes has no issues with that.
[19:53] <Swept_Wing> "Alright, Swoop, can you help get them to Medical please?"
[19:55] * Swoop nods and starts helping.
[19:56] <Swoop> [redacts getting to her room. never happened]
[19:56] <Swept_Wing> "Once they're there, meet me up in the Flight Interface Room. I'm going to head up there and get this bucket of bolts turned around. If they can't get to the star, then their plan doesn't work."
[19:58] <Swoop> "You don't think they thought of that already?
[19:58] <Swoop> "
[19:59] * Swept_Wing nods. "If they haven't, they are probably pretty dumb. But, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to take whatever's waiting."
[20:00] * Clara can walk, but might need a little help steadying herself. She's shaking.
[20:00] <Swoop> "Fine. But I got one question for you."
[20:01] <Swoop> "Who the fuck brings a pistol on their vacation??"
[20:01] <Swept_Wing> "Me, obviously."
[20:01] <Swoop> "... Dad would be proud."
[20:01] <GM||WavemasterRyx> After her magic fades away from Chameleon, Hopes holds a potion to the changeling's mouth, "H-here, drink this now. I need to help the others."
[20:02] * Chameleon guzzles her a potion
[20:02] * Chameleon lays there, still shivering afterwards
[20:03] <Swoop> "Alright. Who needs a ride on the Pegasus Express? Next stop: Med bay."
[20:06] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Hopes makes her way to Clara, getting out another potion for her, "A-are you okay?"
[20:06] * Swept_Wing twirls his revolver. "And while I'm up there I'll grab your gun too Swoop."
[20:07] * Clara was nailed pretty hard by the ice, though not as bad as Astera. She mutters, "You look just as bad..."
[20:08] * Astera nods. "Medical sounds good right now.. Although, we have to be careful.." She groans, and starts to walk out the door Swoop opened earlier. "We wont know who is on Kafias side.."
[20:08] <Swept_Wing> "If they start shooting at you, then they're on her side. Simple enough."
[20:09] <Swoop> "And I still need a weapon."
[20:10] * Swept_Wing trots through the door as well. "Alright, time to turn this giant bucket of bolts around. If you run into trouble comm me."
[20:10] <Swoop> "I'd check the armory, but its likely been cleaned out by now."
[20:10] <Swept_Wing> "Or go check the LT we killed. He might have a gun."
[20:12] * Clara feels much better after the potion. She nudges Hopes. "You should take one as well..."
[20:12] <Swoop> "Wouldn't he have used it instead of that ice attack thing?" She goes n searches him anyway.
[20:13] <Chameleon> "The i-ice was p-pretty effective."
[20:13] * Chameleon is still shivering. Taking two massive hits from it does that.
[20:14] <GM||WavemasterRyx> Hopes jumps from the nudge, not having realized the pain since she was so worried about the others, "Y-yeah, I guess... O-once everyone else is okay."
[20:15] <Swoop> "Hopes, take a potion."
[20:18] * Swoop takes the deadpony
[20:19] <Swoop> s stuff, puts on the armor and shudders at how warm it is. "Yeesh..."
[20:19] <GM||WavemasterRyx> She nods hesitantly and pulls out a potion for herself, drinking it slowly.
[20:25] * Swoop checks the pistol's ammo count then turns back. "Alright. Time to visit Doctor Dickwad."
