The Staurol Confederation is a young government founded by the voluntary unification of four empires native to the Milky Way. The Confederation's formation marked the end of conflict between the Lowidian-Astranian Alliance, the Munrogian Empire, and the Konaki pirate lords. Through their combined efforts, they brought justice, order, and the rule of law to their backwater region of the Milky Way galax. The Staurol Confederation gets its name from its designated capital, Staurol. The planet was chosen due to the abundance of Staurolite on its surface, a mineral known to form in the shape of a cross, which is used by the Confederation as a symbol of the unification of the four founding races.
