  12. [Game begins with the text "Previously, in A Second Mario Bros X Thing: Analog Funk...", then transitions to a montage of Ep. 1 similar to that of a TV crime drama (complete with dramatic silence and those cinematic slam sound effect things):
  13. - A few moments from the game completely unrelated to the plot
  14. - Kood dancing (breaks the silence to play the excitebike theme, which abruptly stops as the shot ends)
  15. - Science in the ending saying "It is not in the Artist's best interests to destroy the universe."
  16. - Pandamona in the ending saying "BEHOLD MY TRUE FORM!"
  17. - Raocow saying "That's some good jumping there Raocow." as he and the others plummet into the Post-Production Void
  18. - Science: "Sheath, you are the only survivor. This is the Sacred Turtle Dove. It will protect you in the Post Production Void."
  19. - Sheath: "Yeah, we defeated Science!" (including the victory jingle)

  22. [Cut to black, then roll the title as a parody of the Star Wars intro:

  24. After the title sequence is over and the music has faded out, fade in to Demo, Iris, Kood and Raocow having a picnic]

  27. Isn't it great how we defeated Science and saved the universe and nothing bad happened at all ever?
  28.  
  29. Iris:
  30. Somebody remind me why we invited Kood again?

  32. Demo:
  33. We didn't, he just kinda tagged along.

  35. Raocow:
  36. Hey, everyone! We should play hide and seek! The winner gets the last chicken wing!

  38. Iris:
  39. ...
  40. Fine, it's better than sitting around and listening to the turtle. You go first, Sis.

  42. [Demo closes her eye and starts counting down from 10. Everyone else runs off, though Kood is taken aback and visibly upset for a moment before he goes. Demo finishes counting and opens her eye.]

  45. Ready or not...
  46. <yellow and shaking> HERE I COME!

  48. [Demo rushes offscreen as it fades out, then W0-1 begins.]

  53. [Demo and the others are back at the picnic grounds]

  56. Okay, that was over way too quickly. You sure that eye of yours doesn't have, like, X-ray vision or something?

  59. You were easy to find because you make weird noises when you're hiding.

  62. Wha- I do not!

  64. Iris:
  65. I heard them too.

  68. You're just saying that!

  71. Honestly, they're kind of hard to ignore.

  74. C'mon, guys! This isn't funny!

  76. Demo:
  77. Hm...

  79. Iris:
  80. Something wrong, Sis?

  82. Demo:
  83. ...It feels like we're still missing someone.

  85. Raocow:
  86. Huh? The gang's all here. We didn't invite anyone else.

  88. Demo:
  89. I can't explain it... but...
  90. It feels like someone else should be here too.

  92. [Fade to Sheath in the Post Production Void, begin W0-5]

  95. -------------------------- W0-5 escape sequence -----------------------------

  97. [At the end of Sheath's section of 0-5, the player jumps into a portal.
  98. A cutscene begins and the scene fades out and in to Demo and the others at the picnic ground.
  99. A portal suddenly opens up, deposits Sheath and closes up again.]

  101. Sheath:
  102. Oh, hey everyone! You all got better!
  103.  
  104. Demo:
  105. ...Oh yeah, Sheath!
  106. Odd... I remember we've been friends since before our adventure together, but it feels like we just met.
  107. Oh, well. Cool hiding place, by the way. How'd you do that?
  108.  
  109. [Sheath holds up the sacred turtle dove, playing the Zelda item jingle. The camera zooms in accordingly.]

  111. Sheath:
  112. Magic bird!
  113.  
  114. Raocow:
  115. Ooh, can I try?
  116.  
  117. [An earthquake starts.]
  118.  
  119. Kood:
  120. RAOCOW, YOU MADE IT ANGRY! APOLOGIZE!
  121.  
  122. Raocow:
  123. I REGRET NOTHING!
  124.  
  125. [Sheath lowers her arm and looks down at the bird, confused. Meanwhile, the others notice something to the left of the screen and start running away from it.
  126. Sheath looks up and sees everyone gone, then looks to the left and is startled; the camera pans to reveal a wave of unraveling that looks like (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8GLzKGM74Y) but with additional effects.
  127. The camera pans back to Sheath and she starts running, accidentally dropping the Sacred Turtle Dove. The camera fixes on the dove and the screen fades out as the unraveling passes and causes the bird to fall into the white void.
  128. The player regains control in a different section and must stay ahead of the wave.]

  133. [By the end of W0-5 all five characters are running together but the unraveling is speeding up. One by one, the others fall into the void, then it quickly overtakes the player.
  134. A cutscene then begins showing all five characters falling several screens, only to stop short of a row of spikes at the bottom, frozen in place.
  135. A robotic bird then teleports in next to the spikes.]

  137. Chronoton:
  138. My, my... that was some _sharp_ timing on my part! I was rather _on point_, wouldn't you agree?
  139.  
  140. [He waits for a response; the heroes are still frozen.]
  141.  
  142. Chronoton:
  143. Note to self, save the better material for an audience that _isn't chronolocked_. Not much good in a captive audience that can't visibly react...
  144. So anyway, you folks are in a bit of a predicament, huh? Lucky for you, we can help... But we're going to need your cooperation.
  145. I'll send you five off to a few different time periods, and all you guys have to do is retrieve the Super Leeks there. Sound fair?

  147. [another pause]
  148.  
  149. Chronoton:
  150. I'll take that as a yes!
  151. Alright, we've spent enough time _hanging around_ here. Let's be on our way!
  152.  
  153. [A portal appears and envelops the heroes, then the Chronoton teleports away and the screen fades to black.
  154. The player is prompted to save, then the game then transitions to the intro level of W1, with the portal dropping the player off and closing behind them.]
