  1. Dear Cloak Community,
  2.
  3. Our developers have informed us that Cloak's HD wallet implementation is almost ready. Due to this news, we've decided to push back the release by a few days in order to incorporate the HD wallet into the Cloak v2.1.0.0 release. Although this few days delay isn't ideal, it will provide Cloak with a First Class wallet backup system that uses the same BIP39 word list as Electrum to generate a 12 word key from which you can restore wallet. We'd initially planned to push out this functionality in the next update, but feel the added security it provides to users easily warrants the few days delay. Due to this additional core feature addition, we decided to bump the version number for this release from 2.0.1.0 to 2.1.0.0. We'll also use the extra time to further polish the new wallet graphics and the blockchain-downloader script that ensures new users are able to get up and running in a matter of minutes rather than the many hours required for a traditional block-by-block sync.

  5. Regarding the recent tests of Enigma... Our recent Enigma testing has now concluded, and we're overjoyed with the results. Enigma works great in the daemon now too. We'll keep you posted over the next few days with updates as we zone in for release.

  7. xoxo,
  8.
  9. Team Cloak
