SR Thoth Backstory

Benedict Kerensky is a Seattle native, born and raised in the slums of the city. In his youth he was raised by a criminal organization, the Seven Stars. The Seven Stars originally started as a radical separatist group advocating for Seattle's independence from the UCAS, but turned to criminal activities to support their activism. In time, they began to put politics more and more on the back burner until it's almost entirely forgotten today. Benedict was adopted by the organization when he was seven years old, intended to be a cleaner for the organization. Someone who makes messes go away. He was trained in the use of every firearm, and taught how to get close to targets for the kill, how to get away, and most importantly, how to not get caught.

When he turned 16, Benedict was given the alias "Thoth" by the group, and set out to do their work. Now the Seven Stars have seen fortunes turn against them, and have sought an ally hungry to make their mark in the Seattle underworld. Lent to the Vory as a sign of their committment to this relationship, Thoth awaits his orders.

The Seven Stars: The Seven Stars as an organization is not large. Consisting of probably a dozen members with any real rank, their main role in the underworld is mercenary. Provide support to shadowrunners and crime syndicates when they need a little extra. Cleanup, technical support, guns, and the occasional cleanup man for when your group absolutely cannot be involved in a hit. They had a good relationship with the Cloud Mountain Triads until a falling out with a particularly aggressive Red Pole left dead on both sides and a major hit to the group's finances.

Thoth is a youthful man who tries to portray himself as a playboy, but his selfishness tends to put more people off than it attracts. Benedict likes his work, he considers himself good at it, but he also knows it's a job, not a lifestyle. He also tends to act in childish ways in his offtime, drinking and partying frequently.

Thoth is 5'10" tall, with a slim build and short, close-cut brown hair. He prefers to wear Actioneer business clothes most places, the main difference between formal and casual wear being the presence of a necktie. He keeps himself well-groomed and dressed, always looking well put-together.
