━ BACKGROUND ;  May was born to a Korean dad and a Chinese mom in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Her parents met there as university students and fell in love and married there. May has a 1 year older brother and was the youngest off the household. Since she was born there she didnt have any struggels in school as dutch became her first language yet her parents didnt forget to teach her Korean and Japanese at home so she could comminutcate with family from both sides easly too. Her parents were quite busy with their jobs as her father was the heir to a big bussines company and her mother was his secretary, but when they were home they always showered them with love making up for the missed times together. May never really felt loney with her care taker and older siblings around. When she lived in the Netherlands she never really had a boyfriend and only had small crushes. After May turned 10 her parents had to move back to South-Korea as her father got a big job offer from a company in South-Korea. One side May didnt want to leave her comfort zone but at the same time she was excited to go to the lands off her roots. Luckly due to them knowing Korean they didnt have any difficulties finding their way and routine there. During her high school years is when she met Hyunwoo for the first time. Allthough they did not start dating immediately they became close friends due to having the same friends circle. Every day was joyous and they noticed the good chemistry they had but didn't realise the feelings could be more than friends. After graduating from high school everyone went their own ways and allthough they kept in contact trough messages all off them were too busy to meet up. May beign a medical student didn't have much off a social life so when her high school friends organised a meet up she worked her but off to get that day free. On that meet she saw Hyunwoo again after 3 years. Something between them immediately clicked and they talked the whole night about their high school days. They promised to meet up quickly again after that night and keeping to their word only 4 days later they met up and the rest became history.

May's a elegant who has a great deal of self-respect and mannerism. What you can notice immediately from the outside, is the way she carries herself: with grace, poise and self-control. This doesn't mean she does not show emotions just like anone else she's friendly and can be gentle depending on who you are. From the moment she knew the younger girls were all hurting in their own way she swore to stay strong in their place. Even though deep down her own expierence was like a freshly cut wound, bleeding every day she managed to gain so much self-composure that it seemed like she was indifferent about it. Leaving that side off May aside she's still your everyday young women who can also be insecure about herself or even hurt by others comments. She knows how to mask it well behind a cold maks and only lets in people she trust whole heartdly, wich are till date quite a few. Her whole goals was tha no one should know about her pain. That was the only way for her to be able to help the other girls trough the difficult times they were having. Never would she admit that she loved him so much that it left her torn apart after he did what he did. Even though her mouth is sassy sometimes it's meant jokingly and dry so people do not feel offended. May has developed enough self-awareness and self-understanding to know what is and is not important to her in her own life. She has respect for herself, and for others, as well. May does not differate between rich and poor and care the least about her rich background. What counts for her is personality and how you treat another human being. If you're trash or behave like trash she'll straightforwardly tell you because she's not scared off confrontation and will sass you down. She won't let you make a comeback at her because she states facts and witty comments wich you can't deny but be true. May isn’t afraid to say it like it is no matter who is listening or who doesn’t like it be it against friend or foe. For the person facing this May she'll be really mean even for bystanders who don't know the situation her roasting is scary. Yet the people involved understand her and uppreciate her standing up and sometimes even protecting people. There is a slight difference between your usualrich peeople and May. Unlike them she does reflect on her own actions and attitude. May knows when the limit is pushed and when she's wrong and she hates to boast about her background.

━ PERSONALITY ; Hyunwoo's a pridefull and manly man. He has this serious intimidating looking face and image at first but when he opens his mouth you'll know he's a fun loving guy who easly laughs and actually likes to crack dad jokes wich are seemingly funny. Very fierce in competitions and always hot blooded to win especially when it comes to things he's good in like dancing. Among friends he's known as the dad whom always has advise and solutions ready for them. Even though he lowkey hates to argue whenever sometimes triggers his pride his mouth will just automaticly open and his laid back guy image will shatter mostly around his girlfriend because he wants to come over as a strong and steady guy. Despite how their relationship went there wasn't a single day he had been unfaithfull. He's a man who keeps to his words and is very protective over his significant other. In some aspects he's just like May, a mentally strong person who keeps his pains to himself. He won't show how he's affected by certain situations and will care more about others. He has quite a few people who he shows his funerable side to. Hyunwoo was willing to let May in on some of the deeper aspects of her personality because he trusted her whole heartedly. He frimly believes there needs to be mutual understandings and respects in any relationship and finds it very important to express hi adoration and admiring for his significant other.

━ WHY DID HE DO IT? ; As he gto more promotions in his job peoples expectation off him started rising especially because he's still verry young. They always gave him a lot off work and it started drowning him. He felt suffecoated and like a caged bird. With the stress piling up and no other place to releave it the only solution he saw was May.

━ WHY WAS HE THIS WAY TOWARDS HER? ; He had no other place to releave his stress and started seeying May as a punching bag. Something about their fights gave him satisfaction and deep down he knew everything he did and was happening was totally wrong. He did realise it was ruining their relationship but the "monster" inside him did not let him try to save their relationship. May was the only thing he felt like he had control over in his life. Even though he trusted her all the way during the last period off their relationship everything she did would trigger him and he would see it as her stepping out off "his boundries" he had set off her. In his search off releaving his suffucation he started abusing her and destroying their relationship.

◤I'LL BE THERE◢

━ HOW LONG DID THEY LAST? ; 4 years

━ AFTER SHE BROKE UP WITH HIM WHAT DID SHE DO? ; The first thing she did was pack her items and move to the other side off Seoul. Luckly for her they did not go to the same Uni so that spared her a lot off hassle as well as the fact that their working places were at total opposite sides off the city. She packed all the stuff that reminded her off him in boxes and stored it somewhere she wouldn't easly see it. She deleted all off his numbers and contacts and cleansed her instagram starting over from scratch. Despite doing this her heart did not let her put away the ring she got from him on their second anniversary and she sometimes would stare at it at night when she couldn't sleep. When everyone asked her what happened, she would tell them they grew out off love and that it was time for a refreshing new start after 4 years off commitment. May would force herself to go to uni and work as well as to keep up a brave smiling face. When she got home afterwards she would always be totally exhausted and break down. Mentally she was exhausted from not jumping away from skinship with people and she would cry silently not wanting to admit it hurts verry bad. To keep her mind from thinking off unnecesarry things she would put all her time in work not allowing herself any rest, it came to the point were her mom worriedly told her to moove home but she assured her she was fine and tried starting her healing process. The first week were she moved away and had to get things in shape she did not feel the weight off their break-up but as days went by it started pressing on her and she started searching for her solution to let him go. When she saw the girls she felt like it was her calling to help them as well as a healing to herself in a way.

━ DID SHE TELL ANYONE THEY HAD BROKEN UP? ; No one, May told no one. She did not want to bare her wounds and vunerable side to them. As she saw the other girls in pain she did not want to burden and worry them with her problems. She nullified herself in order to heal the other girls, even her brother who is like a best friend to her thinks they broke up due to having grown out off love.
