Episode 1: 'Creeping Death'

1. EXT - WOODS - CAMPSITE - NIGHT



In the middle of the woods, as the sun is beginning to set,

there is a group of tents around a large bonfire while loud

music plays and a group of metalheads get drunk, dance and

have banter. Amongst those dancing is TAILS, she is throwing

out some incredible dance moves that can only be described as

'truly special'. BEKI appears and ushers her away from the

dancers, TAILS just looks confused but happy.



                     TAILS:

           I was dancing!



                     BEKI:

          Yes dear, I know.



                     TAILS:

          Did you see me?



                     BEKI:

          Yes, so did everyone...



She takes her over to the campfire where GINGE is sitting on

the ground with CHLOE cuddled up to him, nearby sit SKULL and

RY.



                     CHLOE:

           (Turning to BEKI and TAILS who are

           cuddle up to each other) So are you

          two Facebook official now?



                     TAILS:

           Of course, updated it right after

          the first kiss. Obviously it'd be

           rude to do it during.



                     BEKI:

          You tried to take a selfie of our

           first kiss...



TAILS doesn't respond, the two giggle.



                     GINGE:

           (To CHLOE) It doesn't bother you

           right, them being in a same-sex

           relationship?



                     CHLOE:

           Of course not! A person's sexuality

           is their own individual business.

           If two people are in love then who

           cares what gender they are. Besides

           I briefly dated a girl once in

           college.



                     GINGE:

          Really? Tell me more.

          BEKI:

Tell me more!



          SKULL:

Did you get very far?



          RY:

I remember that, it was during your

angry feminist phase. I'm still

disappointed you didn't shave your

head.



          CHLOE:

That's because you wanted me to

shave my entire head except for one

long strand at the front, and then

to gel it diagonally upwards and

tell everyone I was a fucking

unicorn!



          RY

An angry unicorn phase would have

made for a much better story.



          TAILS:

My parents are still convinced I'm

just going through a phase. I mean

it's been like ten years but hey.



          BEKI:

Oh trust me it's worse being bi-

sexual, you don't get accepted by

straights or gays! Pretty much

everyone just thinks you're

pretending or can't make your mind

up. It's not like I'm trying to

decide between political

parties...(mock thoughtfulness) I

agree with what the Rainbow Benders

Coalition has to say on the matter

of love and happiness, but British

Plug Into Socket Party have some

pretty good stances on the fun with

cocks...



          TAILS:

Yeah but try being at a bar with a

guy coming on to you, you tell him

that you're gay and he's just like

"Challenge accepted!".



          SKULL:

I hooked up with a gay lass once.



          BEKI:

Was she gay before or after

sleeping with you?

                     SKULL:

           (Beat.) After.



                     CHLOE:

          And on that note, I think it's time

           for bed. (Off GINGE'S excited look)

          Ok not the thing to say after a

          discussion on sex...we're going to

           sleep.



                     GINGE:

           (Disappointed) I'll wait till

          you're asleep and have a wank then.



                     CHLOE:

           (Sighing) Just don't get it in my

          hair.



GINGE and CHLOE head off.



                     BEKI:

           (To TAILS) Should we do the same?



                     TAILS:

          But I left that at home?



                     BEKI:

          No...I meant turn in for the night.



                     TAILS:

           (Embarrassed) Oh! Right, yes.



BEKI looks over to SKULL who is learing.



                     BEKI:

          Come near our tent in the night and

           I will shank you.



                     TAILS:

           Sweet dreams, sleep tight, hope

           Slender Man doesn't come in the

          night!



BEKI and TAILS head off. SKULL turns to RY who looks a little

concerned at the broad smile on the creeps face.



                     SKULL:

          Ry, I'll admit when Chloe first

          introduced you to us, I thought

           "What a prick." (RY looks confused

          and offended) but I can see now

          you're just in need of guidance,

          and I being the honorable gentleman

          that I am, shall take you under my

          wing. Together, we will have each

          others backs and score the hottest

          of girls!

          The odds are in our favour Ry, even

          Painfully Single Dave has pulled

          tonight!



PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE sits nearby with a girl on his lap,

looking incredibly happy at the unexpected situation.



                     SKULL:

           So you see Ry, we are destined for

          this, and I didn't bring a tent. We

          will get laid...oh yes, we will get

           laid...



                                          CUT TO:



2. EXT - WOODS - CAMPSITE - MORNING



SKULL lies face down in the ground passed out. The bonfire

has died out and the woods are silent now but for the birds.

In the background we see someone shuffling about, presumably

drunk.



                                          CUT TO:



3. INT - GINGE'S TENT - MORNING



GINGE and CHLOE lie asleep together, she is facing away from

him as he begins to wake. As he snuggles into her back she

turns to him, but her face is horribly dishevelled, her eyes

now sunken and her skin grey. Nasty sores litter her skin and

a deep, guttural moan sounds from the back of her throat.



                     GINGE:

          Oh how the veil has slipped...



                                          CUT TO:



4. INT - PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE'S TENT - MORNING



PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE starts to stir as there is movement

under his sleeping bag.



                     PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE:

          Oh you are a naughty girl! Yes you

           are...



There's a sickening crunch and he screams in agony.



                                          CUT TO:



5. EXT - WOODS - CAMPSITE - MORNING



The scream awakens SKULL who rises to his feet as GINGE

emerges from his tent.



                     SKULL:

          The fuck was that?

                     GINGE:

           I've no idea. Is Chloe ugly, be

          honest, I might just have been

          blinded by love but you'd tell me

          if she resembled Patient Zero?



                     SKULL:

          To be fair, she did look like the

          herpes type.



BEKI and TAILS come out from their tent and join the guys.



                     TAILS:

          We heard a scream?



                     BEKI:

          What's going on.



PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE falls out of his tent with blood all

over his hands, he doesn't get far though as the zombie girl

lunges out and grabs him, biting into his neck. The guys all

exclaim in horror.



                     TAILS:

           Zombies? Really? Aren't they a bit

          overdone?



                     BEKI:

          Let's not jump to conclusions ok,

          we don't know that they're zombies.



                     TAILS:

          Painfully Single Dave is literally

          being eaten alive.



                     BEKI:

          We all deal with hangovers in

          different ways...



                     TAILS:

          They're zombies. Trust me, I know

          this shit.



SKULL walks over to a nearby BLONDE ZOMBIE.



                     SKULL:

          Excuse me love, are you a zombie?



                     GINGE:

          Oh my god SKULL, you can't just ask

          people if they're zombies!



                     BLONDE ZOMBIE:

           (Moans incomprehensibly)

                     SKULL:

           (Looking her up and down) So eh, I

           see that you have risen, well eh,

           so have I.



GINGE pulls SKULL away as BLONDE ZOMBIE lunges at him.



                     GINGE:

          Do you really want to end up like

          Painfully Single Dave over there?



                     PAINFULLY SINGLE DAVE: (O.S.)

          Why is nobody helping me?!



                     TAILS:

           It's the end of days and the dead

           are fucking shit up.



                     SKULL:

           (Turning to GINGE) Ew, you were

           snuggling one! Isn't that like,

          necrophilia?



TAILS punches GINGE in the arm.



                     TAILS:

           I knew this would happen, I knew

          one day your sleeping around would

           get us into trouble!



                     GINGE:

           I'm seriously doubting my sexual

          habits have dawned a zombie

           apocalypse!



                     TAILS:

          We don't know how the contagion was

           spread...



                     GINGE:

          Oh fuck you pocket size.



                     BEKI:

          Uh, guys?



They look around to realize that a number of zombies are

beginning to close in on them. TAILS takes out her phone to

take a picture of them.



                     GINGE:

          Are you Instagramming this?!



                     TAILS:

           If we die, people need to know what

          happened to us.



                     BEKI:

           (Trying to hurry her up) Come on!

                                                          7.



                     TAILS:

           Hang on I need to choose my filter.



BEKI grabs her and they turn to flee but are faced with more

zombies, steeling themselves the guys punch their way out in

epic action movie fashion! But beyond those they are knocking

down there are more coming forward, there's a chance for them

to escape but they need a distraction.



                     BEKI:

           There's too many!



                     GINGE:

          You guys go, I'll keep them busy.



                     SKULL:

           Ok cool!



They run off.



                     GINGE:

           Dicks...



GINGE turns to the group of ZOMBIES as ZOMBIE CHLOE staggers

towards him. She lunges at him and the pair fall to the

ground with her straddling him as he holds her gnashing jaws

away from his face with difficulty. She writhes around until

stopping and looking slightly puzzled, the pair then look

down at GINGE'S crotch before ZOMBIE CHLOE looks back at him

with a look of 'seriously...' on her rotten face.



                     GINGE:

          Yeah I'm not proud of this moment.



And with that she jerks forward and bites into him.



                                          CUT TO:



6. EXT - WOODS - MORNING



The guys eventually stop running and fall against nearby

trees and the ground, trying to catch their breath.



                     TAILS:

           (Sad) I can't believe Ginge is

           dead!



                     BEKI:

           (Comforting her) He's in a better

          place now.



                     SKULL:

          Yeah, Chloe's mouth.



TAILS looks around in despair.



                     TAILS:

           How the fuck do we get out of here?

                                                          8.



                     BEKI:

          Which way is north?



SKULL points towards the sky, BEKI knocks his hand down.

TAILS pulls out her phone.



                     BEKI:

          Any luck?



                     TAILS:

           It's calculating our location. Ok

          according to Maps we're in the

          middle of Birmingham.



They sigh out of exasperation and fear.



                     SKULL:

           (Turning to BEKI) See that blonde

           zombie, I totally got a feel of her

          tit.



BEKI looks at him in disbelief and so SKULL produces a

disembodied boob in his hand, the other two look shocked and

disgusted.



                     BEKI:

          We need to find our way back to the

          road.



                     TAILS:

           I think it's this way, come on.



They begin to head off. SKULL follows while playing with the

disembodied boob some more.



                                          CUT TO:



7. EXT - WOODS - CAMPSITE - MORNING



The guys arrive back at the campsite where a horde of zombies

await them.



                     SKULL:

          Goddamnit Tails!



                     TAILS:

          Yeah you shouldn't have followed

          me.



The zombies begin to close in on them.



                     BEKI:

          What do you usually do in this

           situation?

                                                          9.



                     TAILS:

           I'm going to be totally honest

           here, when a game gets too scary

           I...turn it off.



                     SKULL:

          Aw what?!



                     TAILS:

           It's true...I still can't go

           outside whenever it's misty...



Suddenly ZOMBIE GINGE appears out of nowhere and lashes at

BEKI, narrowly missing her. She squeals and backs away, he

lurches forward, gnashing and swiping at her. TAILS looks on

in horror, trying to figure out what to do. Meanwhile

PAINFULLY ZOMBIE DAVE has approached SKULL and is desperately

trying to bite him, however SKULL is easily just pushing him

away whilst paying more attention to BEKI's predicament,

eventually he just turns to PAINFULLY ZOMBIE DAVE and holds

him by the shoulders.



                     SKULL:

           Dude...fuck off.



PAINFULLY ZOMBIE DAVE makes a sound of disappointment and

wanders off. BEKI though has found herself backed up against

a tree with ZOMBIE GINGE closing in, she prepares herself to

fight.



                     TAILS: (O.C.)

           Ginge!



ZOMBIE GINGE turns to TAILS who lifts up her top. ZOMBIE

GINGE stares mindlessly at first.



                     ZOMBIE GINGE:

           Hmmmm.



He stumbles off towards TAILS now.



                     TAILS:

           Shit, didn't think this through.



                     BEKI:

           Tails no!



TAILS turns but there are more zombies closing in around her.



                     TAILS:

           It's ok, go, save yourself!



                     BEKI:

          No!



SKULL grabs BEKI and tries to pull her away but she fights,

desperately reaching out to save her girlfriend.

                                                         10.



                     SKULL:

           Come on, there's nothing you can

           do, we need to go!



He drags her away, leaving TAILS at the mercy of ZOMBIE GINGE

who towers over her. He reaches down and picks her up by the

throat until she is eye to eye with him.



                     TAILS:

           Dude, you got real ugly.



GINGE snaps forward and bites into her face.



                                          CUT TO:



8. EXT - WOODS - AFTERNOON



SKULL and BEKI race through the woods until BEKI eventually

collapses in fatigue and grief.



                     SKULL:

           Come on, we need to keep moving,

           the only advantage we have here is

           speed.



                     BEKI:

          What's the point, we have no idea

          where we are, Tails is gone...



                     SKULL:

           Don't let her death be for nothing

           then, she sacrificed herself so you

           could live.



                     BEKI:

           I don't want to live, not without

           her.



                     SKULL:

           So you're just gonna sit here and

          wait for death?



                     BEKI:

           Yes.



                     SKULL:

           (Sighing) Alright fine.



SKULL starts taking his clothes off.



                     BEKI:

          What the fuck are you doing?!



                     SKULL:

          Well if you're gonna die we might

           as well have a shag.

                                                         11.



                     BEKI:

          That makes no sense and is not

          happening.



                     SKULL:

          Oh come on, you have to!



                     BEKI:

          No I don't, that's not in the

          rules!



                                          CUT TO:



9. INT. LIVING ROOM - GINGE, BEKI AND TAILS FLAT - EVENING



BEKI, GINGE, CHLOE, SKULL, TAILS AND RY sit around with

character sheets, different size dice and beers littering the

table in front of them.



                     BEKI:

           I am not having sex with him,

          that's not part of the game!



They look to RY who is considering it.



                     RY:

          Roll a 4 or lower to seduce her.



He hands SKULL a 20 sided die which he rolls and then cheers

in success, BEKI puts her face into her hands.



                                          FADE TO BLACK.
