Pokemon Adventure! 6

Narrator :
When we last left Team Oak, they had just acquired a handful of non-shattered Pokemon eggs and came across a female dead and water-logged body. The storm was still raging and the water still flooding. Everyone was standing in the Pokemon Center with Kia returning in after everyone else, just getting her freshly healed Pokemon, soaked from head to toe and covered in mud splatters. Welcome to the world of Pokémon!
DNA:
Cepheus was mildly irritated that Jupiter had told him to work on his throwing arm, but he'd made a successful catch, which was in the end what really mattered.
DNA:
Jupiter was still giving him a bit of a glare, but he couldn't really argue with the results: Lapras get.
Danny:
Danny and Larry were in a corner at the PokeMon Center.

Kia:
"Hey guy's" Kia let out a small yawn. "Decided to do some extra training..I have a bad feeling about everything. Death seems to follow these eggs."
Danny:
"I can't believe we found a dead body, and there was not a stick in sight to poke it with," Danny told his friend.

Cepheus:
"That's...actually a rather creepy thought, now that you bring it up..."

Larry:
Larry nodded ever so slowly.

Danny:
"We're ever so unfortunate."

Cepheus:
"Wait, speaking of which, I need to find some kind of cold incubator for this thing..."

Danny:
"I am telling you... a fridge."

Danny:
"I am a genius."

Cepheus:
"Is there even a fridge nearby big enough for this thing that we can actually take with us?"

Kia:
"You could always ask Nurse Joy if she has anything..."

Danny:
"A mini-fridge?"

Cepheus:
"The Ditto girl? Somehow I'm concerned about that."

Larry:
Larry seemed to perk up at the mention of the Ditto girl.

Narrator :
In the distance you hear a phone ring and Nurse Joy goes to answer it. After some idle chat and laughter, she turns to the group of you, "Team Oak? The Professor is on the vid-phone for you!"

Cepheus:
"I wonder, could it really hurt to ask?"

Danny:
"Oh, Larry," Danny said, hugging Larry in a tight hug, "yousa has a crush!"

Jupiter:
Probably.
DNA:
That nod from Jupiter told all.

Kia:
Kia looked over surprised. "A video call?" She went over to the counter.

Danny:
Danny seemed to get a little frightened for some reason at the news of Oak on the phone.
DNA:
Cepheus was a bit more concerned about the egg than a video call, so he looked around for a Joy that might be able to provide him with some sort of mini-fridge for the egg.

Danny:
If Danny knew what Cepheus was doing, taking on his advice, Danny would never let it down. Alas, the boy was not Psychic. Hmmmm...
DNA:
And, as luck would have it (take that how you will), he ran into the Joy he didn't want to run into.

Danny:
"Gasp!"

Danny:
Danny nudged Larry.

Cepheus:
"Do you have some sort of mini-fridge for incubating eggs? And yes, I'm aware that fridges are cold; that's why I need it."

Larry:
Larry appeared to get a little nervous around the younger Nurse Joy.

Narrator :
The large screens displays G.Oak sititng before you with a large Steelix in the background, "Ah! Kia. Nice to see you all hadn't left town yet! Mysterious storm overhead. Not sure it isn't caused by a Pokemon. Anyway, I'm rambling, got some news from a dear friend of mine, Rane. I didn't think her son would've made it, but he did and should be in that Pokemon Center if my Goldeen saw correctly. He hasn't gotten his Pokedex yet but I thought I'd let you know. How is the group doing, by the way?"

Narrator :
The younger Joy is not currently present.
DNA:
Never mind then.

Larry:
It was only Larry's imagination, though. He was just practicing for when she did show up.
* Ramora looked over at the group as he heard the mention of Professor Oak. When he see's the screen go from black to the picture of a middle aged man he stepped away from Scyther, towards it. "Umm.. Excuse me." He said to the group and the screen, not wanting to be rude, and alittle afraid of the response he would recieve.

Kia:
"Well....other than finding dead bodies, I guess we are surviving....What does he look like exactly?"

Danny:
"That's the way, Larry!" Danny praised his monster. "When she shows up, you try to your darnest, garner all your courage...and ask her out on a date!"
DNA:
Jupiter couldn't stop giggling at Danny as Cepheus kept looking for the fridge. He was hoping it wasn't a fridge and maybe just a bunch of ice packs just so Danny wouldn't be so self-satisfied.

Kia:
"Oh hi there!" Kia greeted the boy," Are you by chance a member of Team Oak?"

Kia:
"well the one that is suppose to meet us here..eh" She blushed. Why did she always suck with meeting people.
Ramora:
"What's that?" He questioned looking at the girl. "My father sent me to see him, told me it was to start my quest or something.
DNA:
Jupiter struck a pose at the mention of Team Oaks and mythical quests foreordained by destiny, to which Cepheus responded "knock it off".

Narrator :
Oak: "Ah! That would be him. And yes, Venec was brought in to the Police for questioning concerning your findings, although as I understood it, it wasonly one dead body. Did you find another?"

Kia:
Kia solemnly nodded. "We just did outside...Did he tell you anything about the odd egg that we found? Well now it is a charmander but..."

Narrator :
Oak shook his head, "That's a bit unfortunate finding dead bodies, but not everyone is prepared for the world. It's why I gave you all a starting package. And no, no mention of an egg. What's so odd about it?"

Kia:
"Well it has flowers on it...I'll have Danny show you it!" She turned towards Danny. "Danny you should come show Professor Oak Chery..." She took a step back from the screen.
DNA:
Cepheus had been looking around for a while but still no luck. He shrugged and went back to the lobby to rejoin the rest, hoping he could somehow keep it cool. Maybe Lapras might be able to help with that...

Narrator :
Nurse Joys approaches Cepheus, "Can I help you?"
Ramora:
"Umm. Professor.. You said you heard from my mom? Where is she? How is she doing?" He asked anxiously.

Narrator :
Oak: "Doing great. Currently in Johto. Wanted you to help me a bit with my Pokedex project and grow some. She hopes to run into you. Your father explained, right?"

Cepheus:
"Oh, yes, thank you!" He tripped over his own words. "I'm looking for some sort of cold incubator for an egg I found; it needs to stay cool to hatch. Sounds weird I know, but that's what it needs..."

Danny:
Danny released Cherry in full view of the Professor!

Narrator :
Joy: "Now that's odd! Even Ice Pokemon eggs don't require cold temperatures. Are you sure?"

Cepheus:
"I'm sure. I believe it's the egg of a deepsea Pokemon, hence why it needs to be kept cold."

Narrator :
G.Oak stares implacidly at Cherry for a long moment before clearing his throat, "That's a very, very odd Charmander. Are those...Roselia flowers? Send it to me for the night and come pick it up in the morning. I'll have some info on it for you by then."

Narrator :
Joy: "Well, if you're sure, there's a freezer I can put it in until you need it."
Ramora:
"Yeah. Well. Alittle. Something about seeing the world like my mom. I'm sposed to take over the gym when I meet her." He looked over at Scyther a min, then back to the screen. "I'm not ready for that yet."

Cepheus:
"A freezer could probably work, yes."

Narrator :
Oak to Ramora: "I think that's the purpose of the travel and growth. Stick with Team Oak and you'll grow quickly. I'm sure you'll eventually hit Johto."

Narrator :
Joy reaches out to Cepheus, "I'll put it there in the meantime."

Jupiter:
(Team Oak!) *pose*

Danny:
Danny grinned cheerfully. "We can trade. That big, metal snake in the background for Cherry! For the night!"

Cepheus:
"Thank you very much."

Danny:
"Like a temp trade."

Danny:
Danny looked boisterously excited.

Narrator :
Oak: "It's not my Steelix. It belongs to Ramora." He points to the boy with you all.

Narrator :
Joy takes the egg and nods to Cepheus before stepping back behind the front counter and into the back.

Danny:
Danny stared at Ramora. "What." It wasn't a question. "You own that huge, gigantic, hobby-wobbly monster?"
Ramora:
"Ok.. If they want me." He stared at the two for a moment hearing Danny's offer." Yes. I caught him on my way here."
DNA:
Cepheus nodded respectfully and went to join the rest to see if he could catch the tail end of whatever was going on.

Cepheus:
"Wait, what hobbly-wobbly monster?" Cepheus asked Danny. "I don't see any Lickilicky around here."

Kia:
"A strange man gave that egg to us as he was being chased by an officer...and that was the same officer that was found dead. The body we found today was clucthing another strange looking egg, and we also found two more alongside her," Kia looked at the boy as he spoke.
Ramora:
"How'd you get him professor? I just know I threw a pokeball at it and it vanished."

Narrator :
Oak, "Your mother has your ID set to me, so when you catch Pokemon when you already have six, they get transported to me. And that's quite odd, Kia. Definitely sounds shady and all too familiar. Be carefuly out there and stick together."

Kia:
Kia also looked impressed at the boy. Anyone who could catch a creature of that size must be strong.

Larry:
Larry nudged at Kia's leg, attempting to garner her affection as well.

Narrator :
Oak: "Well, Danny. Place Cherry in her Pokeball on the transporter. I'll study her overnight and give you the details in the morning, and Cherry back as well."

Danny:
"Okay, Professor G, tell me how to send Cherry to you."

Danny:
Danny followed Oak's instructions.

Kia:
Kia smiled sweetly down at Larry. "You know I think your awesome Larry."
DNA:
Jupiter was mildly worried at what Oak meant by "study". Who knows what he intended to do.

Larry:
Larry made his happiest face. He just stared blankly.
DNA:
Cepheus didn't say anything but was rather impressed at the newcomer's possession of a Steelix

Narrator :
Within moments the pokeball disappears in a rainbow light and G.Oak grabbed it on his end. It picked it up and looked curiously at the Pokeball, "Thank you Danny. Bring the group here in the morning. If this is what I think it is, I'll pay you all each time you obtain one like it."

Danny:
Danny point his 'dex at the screen, trying to scan the Steelix.
Ramora:
"So how do I get him here?" He asked the professor, nervous at the stares.

Narrator :
The Pokedex doesn't respond.

Jupiter:
(Wait, he's getting PAID!?)

Jupiter:
*stares at Danny*

Danny:
"Poo~~ I think it's broken."

Danny:
"Wait, paid? Woo!"

Cepheus:
"Or maybe it just can't detect through a screen, since it's not physicall present here?"

Narrator :
Oak: "It's simple. There's a computer by the lobby in each Pokemon Center. The same way Danny sent me Cherry, you can switch out members of your team. If anyone else doesn't have any other questions, I'll get to Cherry."
DNA:
Jupiter loops around and floats in front of Cepheus' head, with a look that said (You had BETTER find a freak of nature too. I don't want Danny to upstage us.)

Danny:
Danny looked pretty proud, standing in an upstageing-like way.

Jupiter:
STAAAAAAAAAAARE!!!

Cepheus:
"Jupiter, don't encourage him. You'll only make it worse."
Ramora:
"Thanks. Bice to meet you professor." He said easily, stepping back from the screen and away from the group. Sweat was beading on his head, he had actually had a normal talk with someone that wasn't his father.

Danny:
"Anyway," Danny said, going over to Ramora, "I'd just like to say 'welcome aboard' to Team Oak. I'm Danny Green. The leader of Team Oak."

Danny:
He extended his hand to shake.

Kia:
Kia chuckled. "It is nice to have a new companion. My name is Kia."

Cepheus:
"....Cepheus White," he said quietly, the words coming out awkwardly. "Pleasure to meet you."

Danny:
"Kia is Team Oak's token girl. We need at least one in a group, otherwise it's weird and gay."

Danny:
"Cepheus is Team Oak's token geek. He knows stuff. Like sciency stuff."

Cepheus:
"...I'm not a token anything, Danny."

Narrator :
The screen goes blank as Oak turns off his side of communications, just as he did, the front doors to the Pokemon Center glide open and the Ditto-girl youn Nurse Joy struts in, completely soaked head to toe, hands on her hips, a few bruises here and there and a huge grin on her face.
Ramora:
"Oh. He said as he was interrupted mid movement. He stopped as a hand was offered. He took it hesistantly and forced himself to smile. "Ramora Heytal. Nice to meet you all."

Young Joy:
"I have just had the greatest stormy-night ever!"

Cepheus:
"You look more distraught than usual...what did you DO?"

Young Joy:
With that statement, she rushes into the Center, leavings trials of water, seaweed, mud and blood. She moves quickly to the front desk and begins chatting away with her mother.

Young Joy:
Catching the comment, she turns to Cepheus, "I went out on my first date! It was amazing. There was a Gyarados and tentacles and all sorts of wild encounters!" With that last statement, she begins to give a look of day-dreaming.

Larry:
Larry began acting all shy and nervous.

Larry:
Larry looked totally distraught when she mentioned that last thing, moving to a corner quite quickly for him, and was he... weeping?

Cepheus:
Cepheus was going to regret asking this but he did anyway. "Who on earth was the date?"
Ramora:
"I need to do something," He turned back to his objective moving over to the transporter and placing a pokeball inside waiting for it to respond.

Young Joy:
"Venec."

Danny:
"Ohnoes!" Danny rushed over to Larry's aid, rubbing his back, making cooing noises. "There, there. There's plenty more fish in the sea!"

Cepheus:
"Speaking of Venec, where is he?"

Kia:
"Oh really?" Kia chuckled. "and he said he went to visit his father. pfft."

Larry:
Larry looked back in utter horror. This was just getting worse for the poor Slowpoke.

Young Joy:
"The police, lacking Jenny, took him to Celadon I think. Or was it Saffron? Not sure. I met him in the Viridian Forest and it just turned into a date. It was short, but incredible."

Danny:
Now Danny was crying.

Danny:
"You just can't compete against that, buddy. I'm sorry."

Cepheus:
"So wait, Venec was accosted by the police during your date?"

Larry:
Larry and Danny hugged each other to feel better. Crying their little asses off.

Young Joy:
She nods, "Or rather, while we were sleeping together under a Beedrill nest."
DNA:
The more she said, the worse it sounded. Cepheus was struggling to find words to say; he glanced briefly at Jupiter to see what he was thinking.

Jupiter:
Don't look at me, bud.
DNA:
Great, so this wasn't getting any better. Okay, try to change the subject. But to what?

Danny:
Danny and Larry stopped crying. "See, it's alright," Danny said, and Larry nodded. "She was a hussy anyway. You can do better!"
DNA:
...He got nothing.

Kia:
Kia chuckled. "it does sound like you guy's had a wild night......Well I think I am going to go get a shower." Not sure what else to say she vanished toward's the pokemoncenter's showers.

Young Joy:
She turns to Kia, "Hey, could I pet your Houndour?"

Steelix:
Steelix is healed and gains 0 hit points.

Kia:
"Sure..." Before leaving she let out Artemis.

Kia:
./whisper Karoin yes

Kia:
(ignore that)

Young Joy:
She pets Houndour and after a moment, her eyes glow a slight purple. She turns to Danny and Slowpoke and with a large exhale, blows a cloud of black smoke on them.

Young Joy:
"I'm no hussy!"
* Kaorin Sakura rolls: 1d20 A large cloud of smoke is blown in our direction, Danny! => 3

Young Joy:
your*

Young Joy:
The attack misses.

Danny:
Still, the warning was enough!

Danny:
"Larry, take it back!"

Young Joy:
"Ack, I missed." She turns to Kia, "Thanks a bunch, Kia! Wanna bathe together?"

Kia:
"Um..Um.."Kia blushed.

Danny:
Danny leaned in a bit closer to this conversation. Larry followed behind.

Danny:


Larry:


Kia:
"I'd rather be alone if you don't mind..."

Young Joy:
She giggles and nudges Kia suggestively, "I could turn into you again! I like your body. It's more curvy."

Kia:
Face fully flushed Kia ran off towards the shower with Artemis following behind.
DNA:
It was going to take a miracle to turn the situation around.

Young Joy:
"Aww! I guess I'll just go bathe on my own. G'night Mum!" With that, the young Joy trots off, downstairs.
DNA:
Miracle achieved!
DNA:
Hopefully.

Nurse Joy:
Simply shakes her head, obviously forcefully ignoring her daughter and her antics.
* Ramora walks back over to scyther and smiles. "We're going with them, apparently." He pointed back at Danny and Larry.
DNA:
Cepheus decided to sympathize with the older Joy and facepalmed as well.

Danny:
Danny noticed the pointing, smiling broadly and waving at Scyther and Ramora.

Danny:
He took that as the cue to walk over and introduce Larry and his green monster. He whipped out his PokeDex to scan Scyther.

Danny:
"Hi," he said, "I forgot to introduce you to Larry." He pointed at his Slowpoke. "He's the best PokeMon in the world."
DNA:
And once again Cepheus was by himself, so to speak. He pondered his next course of action. There was no one else in the lobby besides Danny and Ramora, but what else could he do? Wait, he had an idea.

Narrator :
"Scyther, the Mantis Pokemon. Bug and Flying type. The sharp scythes on its forearms become increasingly sharp by cutting through hard objects."
DNA:
He found a quiet corner of the lobby to sit down at, then tapped one of his Poke Balls to release who was inside - Grace. Then he said "Grace, I'm sorry."

Danny:
"Wow," Danny cooed, "so coooool~"

Danny:
"Not as cool as you, Larry," Danny fixed, rubbing Larry on the head.

Ramora:
"Oh. This is Blade." He answered patting Scyther on the shoulder. "I caught him enroute here also. But he had a bad run in during a battle. That's actually why I'm here in the first place."

Narrator :
Grace tilted her head to you.

Kia:
As Kia reached the shower entrance she sighed out of breath and took out Artemis's pokeball. "I think you have had more than enough water for tonight...although I must say you fabulous out there tonight Art." She hugged the dog like pokemon. "I love you so much." After doing so she returned the houndour.

Danny:
"I'll trade you one of my PokeMon for him."
DNA:
"For putting you in harm's way like that. You could have died."

Danny:
"He's the most awesome thing ever." He offered the PokeBall holding Andy toward Ramora.

Narrator :
Grace folded her arms.

Jupiter:
(Wait, who's talki- oh right, telepathy.)
* Ramora looks at Scyther for a moment then couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry. I can't."

Narrator :
Grace fidgeted a little.

Danny:
Danny made a sad face.

Kia:
Kia undressed and jumped into the showing. The feeling of the hot water felt amazing against her skin.

Cepheus:
"Work on my timing? You suggest I react quicker to things?"

Narrator :
Grace nodded but shook her head afterward.

Danny:
"Well," Danny said, rubbing his own chin in thought, "what type of quest are you on anyway?"

Ramora:
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. It's just that this guy is one of my friends." He placed his hand under his chin and looked at the floor for a second. "Well. I'm actually supposed to be trying to become a gym leader."

Kia:
As she finsihed washing her hair Kia found new clothes and changed into them. She felt the trials of the day wear on her and let out a small yawn, and began to trudge back up towards the others.

Danny:
"Wow," Danny answered.

Danny:
"I don't have any quests like that."

Cepheus:
"Oh...right. That was my mistake... I shouldn't do something like that, since none of my team does well in close combat. You're right; I'll keep that in mind."

Narrator :
Grace blinked before looking to Jupiter and then laughed hysterically.

Ramora:
"I was bred into it really. Gotta go find my mom, who was gone for 12 years. But after coming all the way up here and battling a few pokemon, I don't think me and Vallus is ready for it"

Jupiter:
(What's so funny?) he was thinking.

Cepheus:
"I should probably listen to myself speak."

Larry:
Larry stared at Jupiter with a mockingly blank face.

Narrator :
Grace stands up before walking over to Larry and pointed at him.

Danny:
"Well, at least you have parents," Danny answered, nodding knowingly.
Narrator whispers: Only I can mock the metal ball. I am the best Psychic here, got it?
DNA:
Cepheus twitched a bit as Danny said that. It was rather painful to be reminded. Then again, they didn't need to know.

Cepheus:
"Wait, Grace...what about Larry?"

Ramora:
A touchy subject, Ramora didn't feel like touching on it. "So what are you guys doing? Seems I missed the beginning of your journey."

Larry:
Larry's attention moved to Grace. He stared her... challengingly.

Kia:
Kia trudged in and joined the group quietly listening to the conversation already started.
DNA:
Jupiter waved at Kia.

Narrator :
Grace turns to Cepheus before smiling and then she felt it. The challenge! She turned back to Larry and fell back into a fighting stance.
Narrator whispers: Bring it!

Cepheus:
"You're not really going to fight him, are you?"

Kia:
Kia waved back at the metalic pokemon.

Danny:
Danny looked a little confused, but he could feel the growing tension. He waved his finger at Larry. "Don't pick on girls! Tsk, tsk!"

Nurse Joy:
"Now, now! No fighting in the lobby! I'd say take it down to the arena, but it's currently flooded. Just wait until tomorrow."

Cepheus:
(Does Danny have a death wish?)

Cepheus:
(Grace's power scares even me; how can he be so nonchalant about this?)

Narrator :
Grace gritted her teeth at the calling of Nurse Joy before turning to Cepheus with a pleading look.

Jupiter:
Jupiter, noticing the intent in Grace's face, rushed up and stood (floated?) between her and Larry, with a look that said "This one's mine, and mine alone."

Larry:
Larry looked at Jupiter for a moment, then to Grace, then to Jupiter lastly again. He yawned and turned away.

Cepheus:
"Both of you, cut it out. We don't need to be fighting each other already."

Narrator :
Grace calmed a bit before climbing on top of Jupiter and lazily resting on him, mimicing the lazy Larry.

Kia:
Seeing Larry yawn caused Kia to yawn once more. "Guy's I think I am going to turn in. The pokemon have the right idea."

Narrator :
You notice by now that you all are all who remain in the Lobby, save for Nurse Joy.

Ramora:
Looks at the group and sighs. Seems he had been put in the middle of a quarreling team, something he didn't have time to deal with. "Why are you all fighting?"

Jupiter:
(She's kinda getting on my nerves...but why are they so scared of her?)

Cepheus:
"Oh, Jupiter, you didn't hear about what happened today, did you?"

Jupiter:
(No.)

Kia:
Kia gave a sheepish smile at the newcommer. "They enjoy bickering...it is almost like a game I think..."

Narrator :
Grace grins and stands on top of Jupiter, posing valiantly.

Cepheus:
"She blew up a Croagunk's head."

Jupiter:
...

Danny:
"It's true. And I'm the winner!" Danny cried, smiling.

Jupiter:
He raised an eyebrow. Kinda. (seriously?)

Narrator :
Grace hops off of Jupiter and begins pushing Cepheus' knees.

Danny:
Danny yawned. "Anyway," Danny said, "I'm off to bed."

Cepheus:
"Yeah. She meant business."

Danny:
"Let's go battle some Zs."

Cepheus:
"...Yes, Grace, what is it?"

Danny:
Larry and him went off to bed.

Cepheus:
"How can you tell I'm tired?"
DNA:
A few seconds later, Jupiter fell with a clang on the floor, fast asleep. Larry's yawn apparently worked.

Danny:
Before heading to bed, though. Danny head to the shower with Larry.

Cepheus:
"Can't really argue with that logic. I'll go pick up Jupiter, then we'll head up to sleep."

Danny:
He jumped in, letting the hot water cascade down onto his skin, letting the heat take him away...

Narrator :
Grace trots up to Cepheus' bedchamber.

Larry:
Larry was there too. He was right beside Danny, helping his wash every nook and cranny.

Larry:
He was a very good PokeMon.

Danny:
And when all was said and done, the pair went to bed.
DNA:
Cepheus scooped up the Magnemite in his hands, who was apparently sleeping rather fitfully. Somehow Jupiter must have been aware that Larry put him to sleep, and he was angry.
* Ramora seeing the situation draw to a close, he returned Blade to his pokeball. "Nap time." He then headed upstair, for bed. He'd find out more on his new comrads in the morning.

Kia:
Kia walked upto her room and within seconds was fast asleep.
DNA:
After a bit of washing-up, Cepheus went straight to bed after a "Good night, Grace" and falling asleep.

Narrator :
The following morning you find yourself in a room full of blinding, harsh light peeling in through your windows.

Danny:
"Ahhhh! Natural light!"
DNA:
^

Cepheus:
"Morning ALREADY?" Cepheus mumbled. "I feel like it's only been about 15 seconds."
DNA:
He was so close to breaking the fourth wall he didn't even know it.

Kia:
Kia streched as the light woke her up and took out Artemis's pokeball releasing her. "Good Morning Art. I just wanted to see how you felt today after last night's training."
Player "Karoin" is not connected.

Narrator :
Art seems to have a faint red aura and is generating a steady and pleasing radius of heat.
Player "Narrator" is not connected.

Cepheus:
"Are you two awake yet?" He felt around and noticed a bit of cotton on his head. "Or rather three?"

Narrator :
Grace rolls over and stretches before returning herself into Cepheus' Pokeball to continue her beauty rest.
DNA:
Jupiter had been awake for a while, and Stratus had only woken up when Cepheus poked his wing...which was a pity because he liked sleeping.
DNA:
Jupiter viewed Grace as lazy for some reason, but maybe it just came with the territory.

Vallus:
Vallus forcefully releases himself from his ball and stretches. Everyday the same thing. He approached the bed after looking out the window at the light. (Wake up!) He thought pushing RAmora to the floor.

Danny:
Danny got up alongside Larry and head downstairs to prepare breakfast.

Kia:
Kia, a little concerned and unsure about the aura began to inspect Art out. " I hope last night wasn't too much...maybe I should have Nurse Joy take a look at you..." She quickly began to get dressed all the while watching Artemis.

Danny:
(Home Cooking feat! Ahoy!)

Ramora:
Hits the floor with a hard thump. He groaned rolling to his side and sitting up. "Morning Vallus" He said before standing and stretching.

Narrator :
Art didn't feel any more odd, other than slightly more active and intently watched Kia as well as she dressed.
DNA:
Cepheus began the day with Stratus resting on his head and Jupiter resting on Stratus. Having Pokemon sitting on his head was going to take some getting used to. At least it wasn't Mary who was sitting on him.
DNA:
That would hurt.
Narrator whispers: Nurse Joy will allow you use of her Kitchen.

Ramora:
He stood and got dressed before heading out of the room, his pokemon in toe. "You missed it yesterday. We are now part of a team of trainers. We're supposed to be helping Professor Oak with his pokedex thingy."
Narrator whispers: did you find an egg?
Danny:
(doesn't know how to whisper)

Narrator :

Vallus:
Vallus crossed his arms staring at his trainer.
Player "Narrator" is not connected.

Narrator :

As Kia finished pulling on her clothes she went back over to Artemis. "Well you seem alright now...Why don't we go and get everyone breakfast? I bet you all are hungry...I know I am!" Before leaving Kia gave Artemis another hug. "I don't know what I'd do without you girl..."

DNA:
As Cepheus re-entered the lobby, he quickly scanned the area to make sure who was here already. He didn't see many people there; he must have been up earlier than he thought.

Narrator :
Art grins at Kia and attempts some sort of affectionate nuzzling in return.

Ramora:
"Oh. I guess I forgot to ask." He stated knowing exactly what Vallus was thinking. "Maybe I'll ask one of the other guys, or Kia." He continued walking not looking down at Vallus knowing what he was thinking.
Narrator whispers: your egg is hatching (darn your egg hatcherness)

Vallus:
Skipped ahead of Ramora, moving into the lobby over to the couch. He went and took a seat, watching his trainer lag behind.

Danny:
Larry prepared breakfast in the kitchen. However, the an egg was hatching.

Danny:
He looked at it!

Danny:
"Wow!"

Kia:
Smiling Kia makes her way downstairs and spots Ceppheus and the new guy, what was his name again-oh Ramora! "Good morning guy's!"

Danny:
"Just in time for breakfast, too," he said, "I can get on its good side right away!"
Narrator whispers: The egg hatches into an oddly all-knowing Dratini. It's eyes had a faint glow to them.

Danny:
Danny hardly recognized what it was, so he just acted all nonchalant. It was a strange, blue, snake-thing. "I shall call you Dandy," he said, smiling, "and you look like you eat..."

"Morning." He replied. "Where's Danny?"

Art's aura seems to fade out of the light.

Kia:
"I'm not sure...." Kia replied not noticing Artemis's aura. "Maybe he is still asleep?"

Narrator whispers: And things like that is why Breeder is my favourite class.

Ramora:
"That means I have time. Umm. You know where I can get a pokedex?" He looked back at Vallus as he finished his sentence seeing the creatures head turn to the side toward Art.

Danny:
Danny begins to prepare breakfast, humming away, Larry and the new Dandy by his side.

Kia:
"I'm sure Professor Oak will give you one when he see's you today." Kia smiled, " So I heard you say that one day you want to be a gym leader?"

Vallus:
Removes himself from the couch and walks towards Kia with an intense stare, his arms still folded over his chest.

Kia:
Kia takes a few steps back as the new pokemon approaches her. "Hello there..."
DNA:
"Hm? Is this new fellow yours, Ramora?" Cepheus asked as the crew was gathered all in one place.
Narrator whispers: I assume you return to the lobby with your new set of dishes and pokemon?

Danny:
Danny went back to the lobby, dishes in hand, and his new PokeMon. Alongside the rest of his friends.

Ramora:
"Alright." He watched as Vallus approached but looked back at Kia as she spoke. "I have to be a Gym Leader." He pulled the ball from his side and returned Vallus.

Ramora:
"No not new. He was raised with me since I was 6. He's alittle upset I didn't get a pokedex yet, and that I didn't release him to meet you all."

Danny:
"Morning!" he greeted the other. "I brought food!"

Cepheus:
"Ah, I meant new in the sense as new to the crew, not newly caught. I should have clarified; my apologies."

Ramora:
"No worries." He smiled at Cepheus. "Umm. You cook for everyone, Danny?"

Kia:
Kia quirked her head to one side. "Why do you have to be a gym leader?" As she went to wave at Danny she noticed the new strange creature at his side. "What is that???" She pulled out her pokedex and scanned the strange creature.

Danny:
"Well, I cooked for us four people. And Larry. And Dandy." He pointed at his newly hatched PokeMon. "That egg just totally hatched."

Dandy:

Danny:
"I reckon Dandy is a good name." Danny offers Dandy some food.

Narrator :
"Dratini, Dragon Pokemon. Dragon type. It is called the “Mirage Pokémon" because so few have seen it. Its shed skin has been found."

Cepheus:
"So one of the eggs we found had a Dratini in it?" Cepheus said. "Now you have two Dragon-types; impressive."

Kia:
"Oh so that is what was inside your egg! Awesome!"
DNA:
Jupiter glared at Cepheus for calling Danny impressive. Then he nudged Cepheus repeatedly, as if alerting him to something.
DNA:
Cepheus glanced at Jupiter, who made a motion with his hands about something round, then pointed at the Dratini.

Cepheus:
"Oh, right!" Cepheus exclaimed. He excused himself, said "I'll be right back" and rushed off to the freezer.

Ramora:
"that's nice of you." Ramora walks over to Danny and the new pokemon looking at it for a few seconds. "I was telling Danny yesterday. I was bred into it. Born to lead the gym and groomed for it too."

Narrator :
Cepheus, you find your egg safe and sound in a freezer box. You can see it shake occasionally but it hasn't yet hatched.

Danny:
"I am totally a master hatcher."

Danny:
"I told you guys my parents raised me to be awesome."

Danny:
Danny looked totally proud of his awesomeness.

Kia:
"Thanks for making us breakfast Danny, although I wonder if the pokemon center has pokefood here." As she accepted a plate she turned toward's Ramora.."Well that sounds."She frowned "Is that what you want to do, or is that what is expected of you?"
DNA:
He checked how long it might take to hatch. Maybe another day? He'd probably check on it again while they were about to leave.
DNA:
He returned to the rest of the group and took his seat.

Kia:
Kia chucked as she took a bite of the eggs and gave Danny a wink. "Apparently you are also a master scrambler."
* Ramora smiles at Danny taking a plate aswell. "I like being here on the surface, so if I'm forced to become a Gym leader to remain then I don't mind at all." He turned towards Kia the smile remaining on his face.

Cepheus:
"Forced to become a gym leader?" Cepheus asked as he took a plate, a bit annoyed that he didn't do that earlier. "What do you mean, forced?"

Kia:
"On the surface...?" Kia looked absolutely confused. "Where do you come from? The underground?"

Danny:
"Somebody's got a gun to his back," Danny said, "and they're forcing him! Or they'll shoot!"
Narrator whispers: Oh, and pokemon hatch at LV5 or LV1, at your choice. It defaults to one normally, but if that would ruin a build or evolution for you, you can instead default to 1.

Danny:
He just started eating. He hoped that Larry and Dandy liked their meal.

Ramora:
Sat on the couch digging into the food and not looking up till he had been finished eating. "It's my only reason for being here." He put the plate down and stretched looking at the far wall. "The ocean. The deep ocean."

Jupiter:

Kia:
"People live in the ocean?!?" Kia was still utterly confused. "What do you exactly mean the deep ocean?"

Ramora:
"Umm. It's complicated." He looked back at the group not knowing how to explain it. "I was born in the sacred city of Deluge. A city dedicated to the warship of an ancient pokemon."

Danny:
"Larry?"

Danny:
"He's pretty old. I've known him since... forever!"
Narrator whispers: Dandy: And I've known you since forever. (Speaking directly into your mind)

Cepheus:
"I don't think I've heard of an ancient warship before, but it's not totally unheard of. I don't think I've heard of Deluge before, however."

Kia:
Kia quietly waited for him to continue on.

Ramora:
"It's location is at the bottom of the ocean. Hardly anyone knows about it, but ever so often someone like me emerges to the surface to take over Gym Leader rights. That's why I'm here, else I'd have to return home and find another profession."

Ramora:

Danny paused for a moment. He looked at Dandy for a moment. Then he looked at Larry. "Isn't he the cutest thing ever?"

Cepheus:
"I see...I see. But how does the gym leader bit figure into all this?"

Danny:

Larry:
Larry nodded.

Larry:
He then cuddled up with Dandy.

Kia:
Kia frowned. "But why? You mean you get no choice in the matter?"

Ramora:
"Umm. My mom's the Gym leader. She doesn't have a stationary location though, so she just travels the world. When she hands over rights she heads back home." Ramora looks at Kia. "I have a choice. I always wanted to see the surface and this was the best way for me to do it. Also it's tradition."

Cepheus:
"Tradition to see the surface once, hm? Guess that makes sense..."

Ramora:
"I could have easily been a breeder, or hatcher back home. Our city basically run off of pokemon, and keeping them in the best possible condition is vital for the safety of my home." Looks back at Cepheus and shakes his head. "The tradition is for Deluge to carry the badge, and the name of the Gym, if we decide to go back home or not is our choice. The surface was my dream since I was 6, so I was selected to be that person to go after the badge."

Cepheus:
"I'm...not sure I follow completely but I think I got the gist of what you said..."
DNA:
He kinda felt bad that he couldnt' fully grasp everything that Ramora was saying but he was certainly trying.

Kia:
Kia nodded understanding a bit more, but still a bit lost. "Well we probably should head out to Professor Oak's lab. After all Danny you have a new pokemon to show him now."

Danny:
Danny was just totally not paying attention. He was too focused on his food, Larry, and Dandy. His new PokeMon rocked.

Ramora:
Breathes heavily and stands up, picking up his plate. He began to walk to the kitchen. "Simply put. I'm here to get the badge cause I want to stay here, not because I'm forced." He stepped into the kitchen and leaned against the door for a second before putting his plate away. He reached for his pokeball and called out Vallus staring at him for a minute.
DNA:
Cepheus nodded quietly to himself, not sure what else to add.

Kia:
Kia instantly felt bad as she watched the boy walk away. She followed him into the kitcen with her own plate. "I'm sorry for all the questions...I just never had many restrictions or traditions growing up. My parent's were alway's a bit busy...."

Kia:

Vallus:
Gave Ramora a pat on the leg seeing his face.

Kia:
"But it is interesting hear about a land far away."

Ramora:
"It's fine. I didn't have friends back at home, so it's hard for me to talk to people, who aren't my father, most of the time.

Danny:
"I know what you mean!" Danny suddenly said.

Danny:
He then continued eating.

Danny:
He was almost finished.

Ramora:
"I'm ready to go when you are." He placed his hand on Vallus' head before the pokemon began out the door back into the lobby.

Kia:
As Kia smiled. " Well you will be surrounded by friends for now on, so I'd get use to it if I was you." She followed him back out. As they entered she finally noticed Artemis's aura was gone. "Strange...I'll be ready in a second."

Kia:
She approached the counter hoping Nurse Joy was there.

Vallus:
walks over to Danny and stares at him as he eats.
DNA:
Cepheus ate the rest of his meal rather quickly and wordlessly returned to the kitchen to go and clean his plate up.

Ramora:
Followed Vallus and Kia out, stepping aside for Cepheus to pass by.

Kia:
"Nurse Joy are you there? I have a question about my houndour..."Kia called out hoping one of them would be present. Even though Artemis appeared fine, she just wanted to make sure.
Ramora is disconnected.

Nurse Joy:
Slowly comes down the stairs rubbing her eyes, "Yes, yes? Sorry, I overslept."
Ramora has connected.
DNA:
Cepheus quietly cleaned his plate up and went to go join the rest, seeing what the plan of action for the group would be.

Kia:
"It's ok...I noticed my houndour had a strange Aura today...she also was emitting heat waves like crazy. Although she seems fine, I just wanted to make sure..."

Nurse Joy:
Examines Houndour before glancing outside and smiling, "It's just the effect Sunny Day has on fire types. She's perfectly fine."

Danny:
Danny ate a little faster after being stared at for so long.

Danny:
"Okay," he said, hurrying up. He was finished. "Time to head out!"

Danny:
"Larry and Dandy, you guys can tag along outside your balls," he said, placing Dandy on Larry's back to ride on.

Cepheus:
(Is Danny seriously the leader of our group? I shudder to think...)

Kia:
Kia smiled relieved. "I guess I never noticed before. Thank you!" She turned toward's the other's. "Now I'm ready to go."

Danny:
(it's actually Larry)

Vallus:
Nods his head and does a handstand in triumph.

Cepheus:
(I'd better check on that egg again.) He went to check on the freezer again.

Narrator :
Cepheus, you find that the egg still shakes sometimes but has yet to hatch. You feel it will hatch soon, but unsure as to how soon.

Cepheus:
(i wonder if I should take this with me just in case. The thing is, how am I going t okeep it cold?)

Danny:
"Where is Cepheus?" he said, deadpanned.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: would Danny be able to give a fair estimate on when the egg will hatch?

Ramora:
"I seen him head back into the kitchen." He pointed back to the door.

Kia:
Kia shurgged. "I'm not sure...He kinda just disappeared..."
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: or would a PokeDex fill that function?

Cepheus:
He closed the freezer again and looked around for something that might function as some sort of holding cell for the egg.
Narrator whispers: You can tell.

Danny:
"Maybe he' still hungry."

Ramora:
Opens the door and peeks inside at Cepheus. "You alright?" He see's Cepheus looking around for something. "Need some help?"

Kia:
"That is possible," Kia began to scratch the back of Artemis's head.

Cepheus:
"Oh, Ramora, hello. I'm looking for something I could take with us to keep an egg cold, since I think it might be hatching soon."

Danny:
Danny ambled to the kitchen door, standing behind Ramora, "You still hungry?"

Danny:
Danny paused after Cepheus' answer. "Let me have a look," he said, deadpan expression.

Danny:
He pushed inside to look for the egg.
Narrator whispers: 18 hours

Kia:
Kia follows the other's in curious as to what was going on.

Ramora:
Pauses in thought letting Danny by. "Ice in a backpack should last a little while."

Cepheus:
"Probably, yeah. Is there enough ice in the freezer for that?"

Narrator :
You find there is nothing but shards and shavings of ice in the freezer.

Cepheus:
"Apparently not..."

Ramora:
"An ice pokemon could freeze water into ice."

Narrator :
There's a ton of ice. It's only ice and your pokemon egg filling the freezer box.

Danny:
Danny looked at the egg with a thoughtful expression. "This won't hatch until... hmmmmmm, 17 hours, 18 hours... I reckon."

Danny:
Danny looked serious.

Cepheus:
"Seriously, 17 hours?"

Danny:
"I reckon," he said, still appearing serious.

Cepheus:
"If it's going to take that long, we might as well leave it here for now then."

Ramora:
Looks in freezer. "There is ice in here..."

Danny:
"Would the ice last 17 or so hours?

Danny:
"

Ramora:
"Danny must've seen nothing but eggs. Didn't you just eat?

Cepheus:
"It definitely wouldn't last 17 hours if we took the ice with us."

Kia:
Kia looked over at Danny impressed. "Wow! You do know your eggs!" She was curious about her own, so she slung off her bookbag and opened it taking out the egg. "Danny could you tell me how long mine will take to hatch?"

Danny:
Danny looked at the egg, placing his hand on it, closing his eyes. He hummed.

Cepheus:
He closed the freezer door. "Let's just leave it here for now and put some more ice around it.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: what about Kia's egg?
Narrator whispers: she has it with her. But hers is 6 hours.
Straw Fedora is disconnected.

Danny:
Danny opened his eyes back open in a dramatic way. You could almost hear the sound of his eyes opening. "Six hours." He paused. "I'm certain."
Fenton:
(A messy-haired kid runs into the kitchen with kitchen holding a camera to his face)

Jupiter:
(A wild paparazzo appeared!)
Fenton:
Someone said there'd be a Dratini here! Here it is!!!

Cepheus:
"Who are you exactly?"

Kia:
"Awesome!" She took the egg back and placed it back in her pack. "Thanks Danny," She took a few steps away from the boy and Dandy.
Fenton:
(I take several snapshots of it, ecstatic at my find)
Fenton:
Where did you find it? Whose is it? How long have you had it?

Vallus:
Walks into the doorway, attempting to block the person from leaving.
Fenton:
My name's Fenton! But enough about me, I want to know about this super-rare dratini!

Danny:
"Her name is Dandy. And she is awesome."

Fenton:
"Is it yours?" I say with a gleeful smile

Jupiter:
Jupiter noticed what the Pawniard was doing and decided to go with it. He floated over to the doorway as well, floating about 5 feet directly above Vallus.

Danny:
"Yep," Danny answered, grinning. "She is one of my best friends!"

Danny:
"Oh! And this is Larry!" He motioned toward his Slowpoke.

Danny:
"He's amazing too!"

Larry:
Larry stared at Fenton.

Fenton:
"That's so cool!!!" (continues staring at Dratini, ironically oblivious to slowpoke)

Ramora:
Also stares at Fenton crossing his arms.

Fenton:
"Oh, I never introduced myself. I'm Fenton, a traveling photographer."

Cepheus:
"A photographer, you say?" Cepheus said. "What brings you here?"

Ramora:
"You said that already."

Larry:
Larry nudged Fenton to gain his attention.

Danny:
"Larry wants a photograph too." Danny went over to Larry and grinned, "You're such a poser, aren't you?"

Fenton:
"I collect snapshots of all kinds of Pokemon, kind of like my own personal Pokedex"

Danny:
"My PokeDex is better than yours."

Ramora:
Drops his arms and sighs remembering what he had to do. "Umm. Weren't we about to go?"

Kia:
"How did you know a dratini would be here exactly?" Kia quietly questioned.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Danny tried thinking to Dandy, "Can you read minds Dandy? Or am I just crazy?"

Nurse Joy:
Walks up to the door, only to see Pokemon in the way, "O-Oh hey now, what's all this?!"
Nurse Joy whispers: Not, but I can talk into them and feel emotions.

Vallus:
Points to Fenton.

Jupiter:
Jupiter whipped around in surprise, then backed away a bit for Joy. He trusted the nurse. The camera boy ,not so much.

Fenton:
Fenton rubs the back of his head. "I'm just here dropping off my Pokemon for a check-up. But they're ready to head on out now."

Fenton:
"But then the nurses were talking about a Dratini, and I couldn't resist looking for it!"

Fenton:
"A slowpoke, huh?" I say, staring intently into its eyes. "He's so awesome!"

Fenton:
Let me get a picture of Dratini first!

Fenton:
"Can I take a picture?"

Fenton:
(Fenton takes several pictures of the Dratini anyway)

Danny:
"Yay!"

Danny:
"Except," Danny said, "we really should be off now."

Fenton:
Fenton, about ready to dig into his backpack, overhears the nurse. "Oh, that's a fantastic idea!"

Nurse Joy:
She glances to the Dratini, "Aww, so much cuter than when I first laid eyes on her! I can't wait to see Mimi at the Pokecare shop and tell her about you!"

Ramora:
I agree with Danny. I still need to go get my pokedex"

Danny:
"To the professor!

Jupiter:
*pose*

Ramora:
Steps through the door and waits for everyone else, Vallus now beside him.

Kia:
Kia quietly follows behind.

Cepheus:
"Right, let's head out..." Cepheus nodded, following the rest. Jupiter returned to rest on Cepheus' Swablu.

Stratus:

Fenton:
"Hey, Dratini's trainer, would you like to battle? I would LOVE some photos of its moves!"

Fenton:
"How about a wager?"

Danny:
"Why don't you just pay me?"

Ramora:
"Go away, Fenton."

Fenton:
"I make money selling photos, and I'd pay anything to get some good shots  "

Cepheus:
(Not sure which way this is going...) he thought.

Danny:
"Why don't you just tag along? We're off to Professor Oak's lab. I'm sure he's got heaps of PokeMon there too."

Danny:
Danny used his most charismatic smile.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Danny thought, "This guy really loves you Dandy."
Fenton whispers: Why not battle him on the way to the Professor? You shouldn't back down from a challenge, y'know.

Ramora:
"How about this? If Danny wants he can battle you, when we get outside of the professors lab. I am the only one who needs a pokedex anyway."

Danny:
"That sounds like the best idea," he says, nodding.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: "See, we can battle afterward. Did you want to battle him?"

Ramora:
"It'll take him less time to crush you, Fenton, then it'll take for me to get my dex."

Fenton:
"But..." He says discouraged. "Dratini's moves!"
Fenton whispers: Me? I'd like to grow a bit first. I'm still squishy from birth!

Danny:
Danny randomly picked Dandy up and hugged her.

Ramora:
Begins towards the door of the pokemon center, ready to leave.

Fenton:
Dandy gives a curdly squeak and rolls against Danny's leg.

Danny:
Danny walked as he hugged. He was good at multi-tasking.
DNA:
Cepheus followed Ramora on his way out, anxious to leave and get this camera boy off their backs. The sooner he left, the better.

Dandy:

Kia followed the other's as well.

Fenton:
"I'm won't leave until I get those shots! Who knows when I'll see something rare like a Dratini again!"

Larry:
Larry followed behind. He was glad the family was growing. He was like the papa now.

Fenton:
"You mean it?" I say relieaved

Fenton:
"Well, I'm not much of a battler, but I'll do everything in my power to get the best snaps!"

Fenton:
(Take a quick snap of the love)

Ramora:
"So where's the lab?" He turns to the others ignoring the photographer.

Vallus:
Walks behind Fenton, arms crossed, still leering at him.

Danny:
"To the land down-under!"

Narrator :
When you all exit the Pokemon Center, you find that the day is scorching now, opposite of last night. The ground is hard and crunchy and you can see waves of heat rising from the horizon. There's a blaring bright light above, which must be Sunny Day.

Fenton:
(it's ok, Fenton is taking shots of random things, like dirt that looks like the face of Jesus)
DNA:
"Hard to believe it was raining last night..." Cepheus gasped.

Danny:
"Wow!" Danny cried, pointing at a piece of dirt that looked like the face of Larry. "Amazing!"

Artemis:
Streches out enjoying the sun. "Hound."

Narrator :
Art's aura returns.
DNA:
Jupiter clearly didn't enjoy this at all; his face fell. He tapped Cepheus' Poke Ball since he felt like he was about to boil, leaving only Stratus out.

Kia:
Kia smiles and pets her beloved friend. "The weather is very extreme..."

Danny:
"Tomorrow will be hail," Danny forecast, his face serious.

Cepheus:
"You're kidding, right? HAIL?"

Ramora:
Throws a pokeball, letting out steelix. He makes a beckoning motion to the pokemon. "Hey buddy. Mind giving me a ride?"

Cepheus:
"What's after that, a sandstorm?"

Steelix:
"Grrrrrroooooagh!!!" Roars the Steelix as it erupts from the pokeball, the sheer weight of the creature creating a loud rumble and vibration into the ground, shaking the very core of Viridian. The Steelix carefully situated itself along the town to avoid knocking over any buildings or crushing any unwary pokemon or people before turning to Ramora and resting down for him to climb aboard.

Fenton:
"STEELIX! It's so... beautiful!"

Fenton:
(takes a photo)

Cepheus:
"You sure you're going to be careful, Ramora? Steelix is 30 feet in length and probably about 8 feet across..."

Fenton:
"Brilliant," he says taking a couple more photos. Then he suddenly realizes something. "Oh shoot, where's my uncle?"

Kia:
"Woahhhhhhh.." Kia looks up a little weary at the large pokemon.

Berom:
Huffing and puffing, an old man comes running out of the Pokemon Center.

Berom:
"Fenton! Don't you run off again!"

Ramora:
Sighs. "I guess your right." He gives steelix a pat. "Sorry buddy, maybe later." He points the ball back at him returning it.

Fenton:
"Uncle!"

Berom:
He breathes heavily, clearly worn out. "Consarn it, m'boy, you can't just run off every time you hear about a new Pokemon..."

Fenton:
"Hey uncle! I got photos of a Dratini and Steelix!"

Ramora:
"Well lets get going. Maybe we can lose this guy on the way there." He begins towards Oaks lab.

Ramora:
"Wait. Where's my payment for that picture Fenton?" He glared at the man angrily.

Berom:
*heaves a great sigh* "Wonderful. That's just great..."

Fenton:
"Payments?" Fenton ponders. No one's asked for payments before...

Berom:
he turns to the party. "I'm sorry about my nephew. I hope he hasn't been bothering you too much."

Cepheus:
"Oh, he's your nephew? I see...He hasn't been bothering me too much, though I can't speak for everyone..."

Ramora:
"You gonna follow me and steel snapshots then I want money! Being a trainer ain't cheap."

Fenton:
"Mmmm. Only if you beat me in battle!"

Danny:
"I like Ramora. He's smart. And good at business."

Fenton:
"Pokemon are fair game no matter who it is! You shouldn't FORCE people to pay you money if they take a picture of our Pokemon. That's not fair!"

Ramora:
"Then no more pics of my pokemon, or Vallus is gonna end you." Begins to walk away from Fenton again.

Berom:
"Now now, Fenton. There's no need to get upset."

Danny:
"Yeah! Listen to that old guy!"

Narrator :
You find that the Professor meets you outside with an Umbrella overheard to cover from the sun, "Oh! Good timing everyone!"

Ramora:
Stops and takes a step back turning again. "I pay good money on everything for my pokemon, balls to catch them, food, grooming. I don't need you coming by and eye hustling my friends. Also You said it yourself. You get paid for pictures of my pokemon, so I want payment aswell."

Danny:
Danny nudged Slowpoke. He whispered something in the Slowpoke's ear.
Player "Koarin" is not connected.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: "You should totally use Rain Dance, Larry. We just won't tell people it was us."

Berom:
Hustling? Now look here young man! You should be honored that your Pokemon is having it's picture taken at all!

Narrator :
G.Oak has no idea what's going on and rather than get involved, continues on what he was here to do, "Ramora, here's your Pokedex." He says as he hands it to him and moves over to Danny, "And here's your Charmander."

Danny:
Danny grinned at his friend and stood back up. He beamed at Professor Oak. "Hi Professor G!"

Cepheus:
"Oh, hello Professor. Nice to finally meet you in person."

Ramora:
"It's annoying. I didn't ask him to come outa nowhere and start taking snap shots." "Oh hi Professor." He turned back to Gary and scratched the back of his head, embarassed.

Kia:
"Good morning professor..." Kia chimed in.

Larry:
For some odd reason, Larry appeared to be dancing.

Narrator :
"Well, to be honest, the Pokedex uses the pictures taken by young men like him so, essentially, you're using work like theirs everyday. I would call that payment in itself. But, onto the real reason I'm here."

Berom:
He's a photographer. It's what he does. Don't you think wild Pokemon get annoyed when you point your fancy whatchamajiggers at them?

Cepheus:
"...Are you referring to a Pokedex?"

Ramora:
"There's no bright flash then."

Berom:
Is that what those are called? You kids have such crazy technology

Fenton:
"So this is the professor you guys were talking about..."

Vallus:
WAlks up to Professor oak and bows.

Fenton:
Fenton walks up to the professor and extends his hand. "My name's Fenton. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Fenton:

Danny:
Danny used his TM 18 on Larry and Dandy.

Danny:
He planned to use it on Ugly as well, when he got the chance.

Narrator :
"Well, the Charmander. It's got other DNA from other pokemon. And not just one. From Roselia and Bulbasaur. Not sure how or who did it, but this isn't natural and incredibly rare and powerful. Whoever did this is doing so in secret and with the type of tech required to performing Pokemon splicing, I'd say very dangerous."
DNA:
You rang? Oh, never mind.

Ramora:
"So Professor, any word on my mom today?" He doubted it but he had to ask.

Narrator :
"Nice to meet you Fenton and others." He bows to everyone.

Cepheus:
"Gene splicing? Is that even legal?"

Narrator :
"Still in Johto from what I know and Cepheus, as far as I know, no. It's incredibly delicate and dangerous and the temptation to mix pokemon genes with Humans is too much to even allow."

Danny:
Danny tried to imagine a combination of him and Larry.

Ramora:
"Can you tell her, I made it safely to you, and I'm doing fine?"

Danny:
"Awesome."

Narrator :
"Next I speak with her, yes." Oak said with a smile.

Kia:
Kia frowned remembering all of the egg shells on the woman they had found. "I have a feeling they might be mass producing pokemon.."

Danny:
Danny pocketed Cherry in her ball.

Narrator :
"Anyway, the egg you were given and the fact that Jenny was killed afterward aren't coincidence. Be careful out there. Oh, what's this?" He looks down at Dratini and tilts his head some, "What an...odd Dratini. I think that one's spliced too."

Danny:
"Dandy is awesome," Danny said, "she can speak inside my mind!"

Cepheus:
"Wait, she's a telepath? Like Grace?"

Danny:
"Grace is a telepath?"

Cepheus:
"Does this mean the egg I got will become a hybrid too?"

Cepheus:
"And yes, Danny. She's a telepath. Haven't you noticed me talking to her and you not hearing any audible response?"

Danny:
"I thought you were just lonely and liked talking to yourself..."

Berom:
"Pardon, but we have to go. Fenton..."

Narrator :
"A telepath Dratini is incredibly dangerous. And if they're mass producing these..."

Danny:
"Dandy isn't dangerous! She's wonderful! And awesome! And super, duper cool!"

Ramora:
"WAit you two. I want money!! We're here so lets go. I could crush you in seconds.

Danny:
Danny looked at Dandy. "Aren't you, Dandy?"

Fenton:
"Ahh! Wait! Danny, can we have our battle? Just a quick one?"

Kia:
Kia frowned. "Professor?" She took out Audino

Danny:
"Okay. Just one PokeMon!"

Danny:
"1 vs 1!"

Fenton:
I'd really like some pictures of your Dratini's moves before we have to-- Thank you!'

Narrator :
Oak pondered for a moment before turning, "I'll forward you all a message on your pokedexs along with some cash by Fearow. You all should probably visit the Trainer care shop for weapons and armor if things are as bad as I fear. I'll be in the lab if you need me." With that, G.Oak began to walk off, lost in thought and swearing under his breath.

Kia:
s pokeball and handed it to him. "I promised this pokemon I would protect it, but I think we will only be walking into more trouble. Will you hold on to it for me?"

Cepheus:
"Me, lonely? That's cruel of you..."

Cepheus:
"Also, did you say weapons and armor?"

Berom:
*sigh* Very well. We can stay for a battle... *he turns to Ramora* You seem anxious. Why don't we join in and make this a double battle?

Ramora:
Runs to GAry. "Wait... You had something you needed me to do for you right?"
Straw Fedora has connected.

Narrator :
Oak is lost in thought and mumbles to you, "Later, later. I'll message you on your Pokedex. I need to think this over." He continues to walk off before turning the corner around the museum toward his lab.

Fenton:
"Can we try 2 and 2 though? I'd feel bad if Aperture or Shutter got left out."

Danny:
Danny whispered to Fenton, "Professor Oak must be getting senile and forgetful in his old age."

Fenton:
"hehe"

Cepheus:
"Or maybe he's just concerned about something?"

Berom:
Sounds reasonable. A 2v2 double battle. My nephew and I against you. Sound good?

Danny:
Danny nodded.

Ramora:
"Might be the spliced thing. Anyway, Danny. Wanna do this?" Looks back at the photographer and his uncle.

Fenton:
"I'm ready!"

Kia:
Kia looks thoughtful towards the Museum.."While you guy's battle I'm going to go check out that Museum! I remember hearing that the pokemon food thief was sighted there!"

Cepheus:
"I think I'm going to look around town for a bit to see what I can find. How about we meet back at the Center later?"

Danny:
"Yep," Danny answered, nodding cheerfully.

Ramora:
Grabs a pokeball at his side readying to throw it. "Alright with me."

Danny:
"We'll have a fun battle here."

Berom:
Alright then. This will be a double battle, with each trainer using 2 Pokemon. There will be no time limit. Let's begin!

Kia looked over at Cepheus. "You could always join me if you'd like. I hear there is a reward if we catch the thief."

Narrator :
Everyone is suddenly forwarded 2000¥ by a passing Fearow with a note attached stating , "For both Charmander and Dratini, but let me review the Dratini overnight one day."

Cepheus:
"All right, I'll go with you then, Kia."

Fenton:
"Go, Aperture!"

Ramora:
"Go Steelix!"

"Go Andy!"

Berom:
It's time, John!

Kia:
"Alright to the museum then!" She began to walk over toward's the building,

Ramora:
Stares at Danny. "You Serious?"

Danny:

Narrator :
When the both of you enter the Museum, you find rare oddities all around. Fossilized Pokemon, Humans, meteorites, art, etc. All sectioned off from place to place. There are few people at this time of day walking around.

Narrator :
Speeds everyone?

Danny:
"We are the most awesome, most amazing, incredible team there is and ever will be~"

Ramora:

You see a receptionist at the front who also seems to act as a tour guide.

Danny:
"Splash attack!"

Narrator :
Magikarp flops around uselessly.
Karrablast has received initiative.

Danny:
"Yesssssssss."

Karrablast:
"Go, Karrablast! Hit that Magikarp!"

Fenton:
(repeat)

Kia:
She approaches the receptionist. "Hello...I wanted to inquire more about the pokemon thief that was posted on the board..." She looks down uncertain.

Fenton:
"Use Fury Cutter!"

Narrator :
The receptionist looks up from her book and smiles, "Finally, someone who cares! Although, nothing all that expensive was stolen. Just food from the store-rooms. I'll help any way I can."
Straw Fedora is disconnected.

Kia:
"Do you know what kind of pokemon it was? Or what time during the day that it comes?"
Fenton has connected.

Kia:
She looks over at Cepheus for some help.

Cepheus:
"We're trying to see if we can apprehend this thief, so any info you could give would help."

Narrator :
She thinks for a moment, "Well, not particularly. Not sure what pokemon it is, but we assume it's small. It moves around by the vents we think."

Cepheus:
"Something that moves around through vents, you say... Could be some small animal or even some amorphous creature."

Cepheus:
"Do you know if it leaves any signs behind?"

Straw has connected.

She stops at the rear of the Museum and opens the door, leading back outside and to a row of metal shacks, "This is where we store our food and the vent connect between each of them. Feel free to look around. They're unlocked currently. Anything else I could answer?"

Kia:
Kia shakes her head. "Nothing that I can think of at the moment, but if any questions do pop up, we will be sure to ask."

Cepheus:
"I don't have any questions right now either. Now, let's see if we can find any clues in here..."

Ramora:
Groundshaper then Rock throw.

Narrator :
The receptionist smile and turns back into the museum.

Danny, nonchalantly, points his PokeDex at the Aperture. "I'm surprised you aren't taking pictures," he said, looking at Fenton.

Berom:
Very well. John, use Growth this round!
DNA:
Cepheus slowly opened the door to reveal what was inside.

Narrator :
You find boxes of stored food stacked inside.
DNA:
"I get the feeling we might find something here; there might be evidence of snacking."

Kia:
Kia nods in agreement and looks around intently in an attempt to spot something.
* Andy rolls: 1d20+4 => 4 + 4 = 8

Fenton:
"I have plenty of pictures of my Aperture, don't worry!"

Narrator :
Kia, you find nothing out of the ordinary here.

Cepheus checked to see if there were any marks on the crates or if the ywere otherwise disturbed. Most likely not, bu it wouldn't hurt to check.

Kia:
"I agree with what you are saying, but I don't see anything. Although I might be overlooking something." Kia sighed frustrated a bit.

Narrator :

Narrator :

He would scan that monster.

Then, "SPLASH!"

Kia:
Kia points her pokedex towards the vent.
DNA:
"Maybe Jupiter's small enough to fit in the vent and chase down whatever's inside?"

Narrator :
The pokedex brings up no inforamtion.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Wait. They're not coming up on the PokeDex?

Kia:
"That might be the best chance we have...all of my pokemon might be a bit too big..."

Narrator whispers: no, yours is loading, Andy's isn't.
DNA:
Cepheus then tapped Jupiter's Poke Ball. Upon release, Cepheus asked "Jupiter do you think you can fit inside the vent?"

Fenton:
Aperture, get out of the way of Steelix! Get behind Magikarp!

Fenton:
(takes ninja photos of Steelix)

Jupiter:

oh, right, that was silly. Cepheus looked for an opening on the vent itself

Narrator :
You find a lever beside it.

The vent flips open and a small black and red pokemon turns from eating to look at you. It shrieks before pushing beside you and jumping to the ground.
DNA:
Cepheus recoiled a bit in shock. Jupiter instinctively scanned it with the dex before going to face it.

Narrator :
"Zorua, the Illusion Fox Pokemon. Dark type. Each has the ability to fool a large group of people simultaneously. They protect their lair with illusory scenery."

Kia:
"Hey you.."Kia cooed down to the small pokemon. "You know it is not nice to take things that arn't yours."

Narrator :
Aperture doing anything else?
DNA:
(They're not normally native to here, are they?) Then, aloud, "What are you doing here?"

Kia:
"Wow....this is a really rare pokemon."

Narrator :
Zorua hisses at both of you before making a break for the open door.

Jupiter didn't need to be told twice; he ran after the fox as fast as he could. Cepheus likewise gave chase

Narrator :
Zorua stands up looking around still feelings trapped and slowly steps over to the berry, sniffs it and snatches it before rushing behind the boxes and eating it.

Cepheus decided just to go ahead and try to crack open one of the boxes, namely the one that had the scuff marks on it.

Cepheus opens it and finds stored boxed foods and cereals.

(it took 10 for dome reason)

Cepheus perused the contents, choosing one of the boxes that looked like it would be the easiest to open
DNA:
after choosing one, he took it out, slowly but carefully opened it, and set some of the contents in his hand, which he lowered to the ground.
