  40. [20:29:36] <Pres> Their food arrives. Greg digs in eagerly. "I was thinking, like, the Foundation doesn't do dress uniforms or anything, but I still have my Class A's. So I might wear that to the ceremony."

  46. [20:37:17] <Pres> Some more time passes as everyone eats. By the time they're finished and on the way to the club, people have probably had a couple more drinks each.
  47. [20:41:25] <AgentFlowers> Lily found the minifridge in the limo. "DUDE there's tiny bottles of Canadian Club in here!"
  48. [20:41:42] <Pres> "So, normally you never wanna use the ATM inside the club." Greg is explaining to Ralph. "The fees are always insane. Lil, is there like a corner store or something we can hit beforehand?"

  57. [20:44:23] <RogetGM> Ralph driks from his tiny bottle. "This is good shit."
  58. [20:45:24] <Pres> "You've got a phone, guys. Just do a maps search."
  59. [20:45:40] <AgentFlowers> "Just ask the driver, gawd!"
  60. [20:46:33] <Pres> Greg takes a slug.
  61. [20:47:29] <Pres> "Ugh, fine." Greg slides the divider open. "Hey, is there an ATM near the club?"
  62. [20:52:44] <AgentFlowers> The driver glances at Greg in the mirror. "There's a convenience store just down the street from it, with an ATM."
  63. [20:53:16] <Pres> "Aight, thanks." Greg says, shutting the divider again.
  64. [20:53:52] <Pres> "What was I saying? Oh, right... I was gonna do a toast."
  65. [20:54:32] <Pres> He picks up his whiskey. " I know the ceremony's on Monday, but... To Ralph's last night on earth! More or less."
  66. [20:55:36] <AgentFlowers> "To Ralph, who somehow managed to stumble into convincing a woman like Eriko to marry him, you lucky son of a bitch."

  68. [20:56:19] <TheRaven> Taggart grabs a bottle out of the minifridge and raises it. "Yeah, that!"
  69. [20:56:40] <RogetGM> "Aw, you guys..." Ralph grins, and takes a drinky.
  70. [20:56:46] <Pres> More time passes, as everyone gets their cash and heads into the club. By this point, the narrator assumes everyone is at least buzzed and well on their way to drunk.
  71. [20:59:42] <TheRaven> "Man, you know the worst thing about this job? We do all this crazy shit, and we still can't tell anyone about it."
  72. [21:00:04] <Pres> "Would you wanna tell people about most of it?"
  73. [21:00:39] <AgentFlowers> The club is fairly unassuming on the outside, and looks like a regular nightclub. Inside, the room is dominated for the most part by the stage, mirrors on the ceiling following the curve of the tip rail and reflecting the blue hued lights. More mirrors adorn the back wall behind the stage, for more...viewing angles.

  77. [21:02:48] <Pres> Greg loves well stocked bars too. He heads thataway. "Yeah, that part's cool, but... Batman. Did you like Batman as a kid?"

  80. [21:04:44] <AgentFlowers> Woah, Greg must have had quite a bit to drink, because it /definitely/ looks like this is more than a topless bar and they're still serving hard liquor.
  81. [21:05:08] <Pres> "Yeah, he's neat, and yeah, he's badass, but does he ever go up to women in bars and say "Hi, I'm Bruce Wayne, and I beat the shit out of criminals for fun in my spare time?"

  83. [21:07:22] <Pres> "Yeah, but he sounds badass at a distance. You actually meet him, though?" he says, glancing around. "You're gonna think he's a weirdo."
  84. [21:08:41] <Pres> "Enough batman, though, let's get some drinks and find you a courtside seat." he says, clapping Ralph on the shoulder.

  86. [21:09:35] <RogetGM> Ralph stands up, and sways a bit. "Lead th' way."
  87. [21:10:44] <Pres> Greg tries to find an open spot at the bar. He also snaps his fingers at Lily. "Hey, keep up, we have all night to gawk."
  88. [21:12:12] <AgentFlowers> "Shush. Shush your silly face, you silly, silly man."
  89. [21:12:35] <Pres> "Lily, we've got a table waiting for us remember?"
  90. [21:13:31] <AgentFlowers> "Yeah, I'm coming."

  92. [21:15:33] <AgentFlowers> There is in fact a table off to the side reserved for them. It's slightly elevated over the rest of the floor, for an unobstructed view of the stage, and separated from the plebs by a narrow stage made of lighted acrylic, with its own pole, for private dances. The couches are leather, with a black lacquer table in the middle.

  94. [21:16:15] <AgentFlowers> On the table is an assortment of glasses, a bucket of ice, bowls of lemon and lime wedges, and carafes of mixers.

  98. [21:18:34] <AgentFlowers> Kestrel turns out to be a /very/ accommodating brunette and an impressively gifted dancer.

  100. [21:19:21] <Pres> Greg has been telling Taggart a couple war stories. His attention is... divided... so he's not entirely aware or concerned about whether or not he's being listened to.

  121. [21:25:40] <Pres> "Out. Of. Order". The bouncer uses his talking to drunks voice, that's somewhere between cop and dog trainer.
  122. [21:26:23] <RogetGM> "Flugh, fine'." Ralph shuffles in the direction Mister Bounce pointed him in.
  123. [21:27:00] <Pres> Ralph heads around the corner and through a propped open Staff Only door.
  124. [21:27:16] <RogetGM> Are the lights on in this one?
  125. [21:27:45] <Pres> Almost immediately, he hears it shut behind him and a previously unseen man steps out of the shadows, jabbing what appears to be a nightclub at him. Agility!

  135. [21:31:01] <Pres> He's helpless to resist as something dark is pulled over his head, and only barely feels metal closing around his wrists. Then, he's hauled to his feet and half dragged, half shoved down the hall.

  137. [21:32:25] <Pres> Ralph hears doors open ahead of him and then slam shut behind. He's tossed roughly onto some hard surface. His brain struggles for a second, before the word van floats to the top.
  138. [21:32:54] <AgentFlowers> Taggart, there's a very "gifted" blonde sitting on your lap and giggling like every word you say is the greatest thing she's ever heard.
  139. [21:33:14] <Pres> He hears a door slam shut behind him, a loud *thump-thump*! and then the van is screeching away into the night.
  140. [21:34:09] <RogetGM> Ralph tries to think of a word to match with "van." Ride? Speed? Away? Away is bad! Shaking his head, Ralph struggles against his away-ness and vocalizes his discontent.
  141. [21:34:11] <Pres> Greg is now telling his story to Lily. "So, the biggest one, he's probably the leader, he decides he's gonna pull this dinky little switchblade on the Major."
  142. [21:34:19] <TheRaven> He's grinning like an idiot.
  143. [21:35:06] <Pres> Ralph can barely move his legs, let alone get up between the handcuffs behind his back and the electric shock.
  144. [21:35:46] <Pres> He rolls over and ends up bunched awkwardly against a wall as the van takes a hard turn.
  145. [21:36:12] <AgentFlowers> Lily is only barely listening to Greg, instead choosing to show Taggart how to do a body shot.

  153. [21:40:41] <Pres> The voice on the other end is decidedly un-Ralphlike. In fact, it sounds like it's coming through a scrambler. "Doctor Bushnell is in our custody now."

  165. [21:43:00] <Pres> "If you do not bring us the artifact within two hours, we will kill him. Drop point will be relayed to you in one hour."

  181. [21:46:46] <Pres> All the color drains out of Greg's face. his drink sloshes over his hand as he half-drops it onto the table.
  182. [21:47:55] <Pres> "...Hotel rooms. Now."
  183. [21:48:18] <TheRaven> Taggart stands, pumping all his willpower towards sobering up.
  184. [21:48:37] <AgentFlowers> "Yes." Lily quickly pays the dancers.
  185. [21:48:44] <ShockwaveLover> "But...but...beer..."
  186. [21:48:57] <ShockwaveLover> Duncan looks at his half-empty glass sorrowfully.
  187. [21:49:04] <Pres> Greg drags Duncan to his feet. "Duncan, /now/."
  188. [21:49:35] <AgentFlowers> She drops a penny in Duncan's drink. "Save the Queen."
  189. [21:49:47] <AgentFlowers> She downs the rest of her own in two gulps.
  190. [21:49:52] <ShockwaveLover> "I'll be bake, mate!" He yells in the general direction of the glass.
  191. [21:50:05] <Pres> He digs bills out of his pocket and throws them onto the table, not really bothering to count them. "Sorry ladies, work emergency, make way."
  192. [21:50:06] <ShockwaveLover> "Don't you go cheatin' on anyone!"
  193. [21:51:52] <Pres> Greg then attempts to drag two very drunk security guys and a rather... distracted female colleague to the exit. Simultaneously. It goes as well as you'd expect.
  194. [21:52:28] <ShockwaveLover> "'Enough with the mandhandlin', cobber. I can walk."
  195. [21:53:08] <Pres> "Then walk, asshole, this is serious."
  196. [21:53:31] <ShockwaveLover> Facts have begun to trickle through Duncan's soggy brain.
  197. [21:53:40] <TheRaven> Taggart is sort of staggering, muttering something about "goddamn poolboy luck..."

  199. [21:55:16] <ShockwaveLover> "I'm probably doing better than the sheep fucker or the cathouse diver at this point." He chuckles, nudging the parties concerned.
  200. [21:56:24] <RogetGM> The hotel is just down the street, so they get to the lobby pretty quickly. It's a nice joint, but you're not really here to admire the scenery, eh?

  202. [21:56:59] <ShockwaveLover> And indeed, he can walk! It's a miracle. Alcohol has medicinal qualities after all.

  204. [21:57:58] <RogetGM> There is a skinny old woman with tortoiseshell glasses manning the desk.

  207. [21:59:18] <ShockwaveLover> The facts, having trickled down, are now beginning to be digested.
  208. [21:59:25] <Pres> Greg awkwardly extracts their reservation from his jacket and presents it to the lady. "Rooms. Hurry."
  209. [21:59:45] <ShockwaveLover> He wrinkles his forehead in concentration. "But...we're s'pposed to be /secret/, aren' we?"
  210. [22:00:52] <RogetGM> She takes the reservation, squints at it for a couple seconds, then rummages through a drawer and hands them a key. "Second floor, room 201. Have a nice night, kids."
  211. [22:01:38] <ShockwaveLover> Duncan finds that incredibly hilarious.
  212. [22:02:09] <ShockwaveLover> Yep, he's gonna be laughing for a good few minutes.
  213. [22:02:14] <Pres> Greg shushes him, then turns and attempts to lead them to the elevator.
  214. [22:03:33] <RogetGM> Greg somehow manages to stuff all the poolboys into the elevator, which soon begins to ascend upwards to the second floor.

  225. [22:08:07] <RogetGM> It's a picture of Ralph, tied to a chair. He's slumped over at an angle, obviously not in a good way. The text accompanying the image reads "Two Hours."
  226. [22:08:37] <Pres> Greg cranes his neck to look at the screen.
  227. [22:08:55] <ShockwaveLover> Duncan wipes his eyes. "Are we sure this isn't just someone from the site fucking around?"
  228. [22:09:25] <ShockwaveLover> "Y'know, stealing him driving him to Townsville, duct-taping his naked to a lamp-post?"
