Earlier this evening, there was a heated discussion involving the user [icon]the cheery noxian[/icon] . While you were not a participant in the initial conversation, you chimed in towards the closing aspect with some rather unacceptable commentary. As seen here [http://pastebin.com/R55QUhJd] your brief statements at the time were not directed towards the conversation but instead directly towards the user in question whom had given no provocation nor had they offered any reason to be considered 'bitching'. I understand that the user has something of an unsavory rep given previous circumstances, but that is not an excuse to lay such harsh criticism on them for no reason. This is a personal attack on the individual and, as per rule 1 of our channel, we do not tolerate harassment.

[22:39]Volpe: They can be not 'pleasant' to be around sometimes, I did something not alright.
[22:40]Volpe: Not really surprised I got a message or anything. Honestly at the moment I'm just a little but in a foul mood for outside reasons, so forgive my lack of a genuine apology.

[22:48]Darius: That is correct. The user, has a reputation that I will not attempt to deny. They have been spoken to before for previous actions, but this is not one of those situations. The truth is, and I am more than willing to share the public log record if you wish, that throughout the 'debate' concerning Ezreal's present Meta ability as a Champion Cheery was calm and respectful the entire time. The other individual who debated with her is the one who offered snide and backhanded commentary towards her and even then she kept her cool to her credit. There were more than one person who was making unsavory commentary about her during the situation. This would somewhat be related to a 'cry wolf' situation where the user was treated unfairly given previous situations by everyone else when she did nothing wrong.

I know they may not be the easiest to get along with, and I am not defending previous situations, but they are still remain a member of our community and the treatment she received from not just yourself was unacceptable. I apologize that I have to speak with you concerning this given your already somewhat foul mood, but it needs to be addressed.

I cannot speak for Cheery, but I believe she would appreciate an apology if you gave her one.

[22:51]Volpe: At this point, I'm not sure when I'll apologize given that as I stand, she deserves it for being well. Routinely unpleasant, whiney and bitchy. It gets extremely annoying, and I'll probably just do my thing and whatnot first.

I teacher young children for a living and I'm not going to treat you the way I would my student. You are free to make your own decisions, but with respect their are situations when it is the right thing to admit when you made a poor decision. That is all I will say on the matter.

That being said, I will simply inform you now rather than potentially laying it on you randomly after we've already spoken. The moderation group is still in discussion whether a timeout is warranted or not for the violation. I will let you know when we have a decision.
