  1. Right now, as of the current prices, smithing rune items for 200m smithing from 99 will take you around 920 hours as opposed to adamant plates which takes about 780 hours from 99. The difference between adamant plates and rune items in hours to 200m is insignificant in comparison to the loss from addy plates and the profit from rune items.

  3. As of the current prices, making adamant plates for smithing costs around 4-4.5. It will go up to about 5 gp/xp in the near future if 240k continues to be the ehp for smithing. That will cost you ~750-840m gp to 200m from 99. Right now, making rune items to 200m from 99, will make you about 800 gp per item. That will result in you making about 660m to 200m.
  4.
  5. If you did addy plates to 200m, you'd lose out on a potential profit and make a loss of a total of roughly 1.4b gp. It would take you about 930 hours to make back that money (assuming you make 1.5m/h doing double nats). It would take you a total of about 1700 hours to do addy plates to 200m from 99, to get the same outcome in xp and money as you would if you made rune items, which takes about 920 hours.
  6.
  7. Smithing adamant plates for smithing is only a viable option for those who choose to use an alt to make up for the losses. If CML assumes you use alts, then RC should be 65k/h, Herblore 450k/h, Crafting 410k/h and so on. Thank you for reading this.
