  4. How To Basic - Step any song with a maximum Expert difficulty of 7, classic scale.

  7. Serenity - No (or very little) chaos is allowed to be used in the steps, with precautions to prevent cheesing.
  8. Medium-Long Week - The song submitted must be between 2:30 and 3:00 in length.
  9. Live BPM Week - song must use varying, unintentional BPM changes, as if performed live.

  12. Originality - You must have composed the song yourself.
  13. From Nonstop Megamix - Submit a remix of a song you have stepped before, but you only get to step the challenge slot so make it count.
  14. Royals - Step a song that is related to the medieval times/middle ages.

  17. Measurement - Step any song that run in measure other than 4/4 for at least 80% of the song (Can put https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_(music) for those who don't know what's measure)
  18. Denser than blackhole - Step anything that feature a long 12th or 16th stream without any rest part from start to the end (The stream can be only 20-30s long, but don't give any break measure)
  19. Medley - Step any song that are considered medley (Can put https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_musical_medleys as a reference of what is medley before the round starting)

  22. Remix Week - Needs no introduction at this point. Step something that's an arrangement or remix.
  23. Doubles Week - The standard requirement to submit Light, Standard, and Expert Singles charts is removed for this week. Instead, it is required that your file contains at least Light, Standard, and Heavy Doubles charts.

  26. Soundtrack Week: Song must belong to a soundtrack of any serie/TV show/movie/videogame.
  27. Y2k: Year of release of the song has to be 2000.
  28. Piano Lover: The song should be composed on piano(Covers are allowed).

  31. That's Odd - All difficulties have to be odd (1,3,5,etc)
  32. Stream a stream - your Heavy chart must have at least 4 measures of 16th or 12th stream total
  33. Above and Beyond - Besides graphics, you file must contain 1 thing that is not required. (Examples: Challenge chart, doubles chart, video)

  36. The Last Letter - Step any song whose title starts with the letter Z.
  37. Yo Gabber Gabber - Step any song in the gabber genre.
  38. Warped Realm - The file needs to contain at least a warp.

  41. Reverse Scrabble - Song's (romanized) title must score at most 20 points in English Scrabble.
  42. Numbers - Song's title or artist must contain at least one numeral (Arabic, Roman, etc.).
  43. LGBT Week - Song must have LGBT themes or feature at least one artist who identifies as LGBT.

  46. ONLY ONE WORD - Song title can only be one word long.
  47. Alphanumeric - Song title must contain both letters and numbers. Numbers written as words do not count, so songs like I Was The One, Two Months Off and FANTASTIC THREE don't count.
  48. Air Heroes - Heavy must contain at least 50 jumps.

  51. New Old Decade: songs chosen need to have been released between 01, January 1996 and 31, December 2006
  52. Anonymous: Files are done anonymously, sent to the contest creator and uploaded by them under their name. The creators for the files will not be revealed until the end of the theme.
  53. Higher or Lower: files must be either below 120bpm or above 180bpm

  56. Under 100 - Step a song with a BPM below 100.
  57. World Tour - Excluding America and Japan, step any song by an artist from a foreign country (Brazil, France, Germany, ect.)

  60. Speed Demon - step a song that's A) greater than 180 BPM for at least half of the song and B) has a speedup (a legit speedup, not just doubling the BPM for no reason). The song can start at below 180 BPM and then speed up past it, or it can start above 180 BPM and get even faster. Your choice.
  61. You Already Saw This In DDR - restep a DDR song. Note that if a song has a beginner or challenge chart, you must either replace it or remove it; the charts must be 100% yours.
  62. Karaoke Revolution - step a song with vocals. The steps must follow the vocals for at least 8 consecutive bars of the song.

  65. Ridin' Solo - All (required) charts must be stepped using 6 panels (Solo) mode. Every (required) chart must use the corner arrows at least once. Notes: 3-panel mode, where only down, up-left, and up-right show up is the beginner mode in DDR Solo 2000.
  66. Colorful - Song or artist name must contain a color (any language). Lyrics that mention colors don't count for this theme.
  67. Get a Grip - Heavy chart must use hands at least once.
