[12:21:42] <Schorcht> Rejoice! Praise be the kindred of the creator! He who now walks among us! He shall cleanse the holy lands of all those impure and undeserving.
[12:23:51] <Schorcht> The group has now become deity's for Steve. Shall they squabble their gift? Or play up to it? Only time will tell.
[12:23:57] <Schorcht> **Session Begins**
[12:30:20] DT has never cared for deities. They always seemed to be busy whenever he asked for help. DT walks on regardless, on the look out for unworthy.
[12:32:32] <Peace> So.. should we explore the rooms for loot, or just get out of here as fast as possible?
[12:34:37] DT stops and takes a peek inside the room. "Couldn't hurt to look." DT tries to open one for the side doors.
[12:36:16] <Schorcht> The door easily slides open and a wave of stink greets his nose. Inside the room lies a few bodies of small critters.
[12:36:32] <Peace> "Im pretty sure it could hurt."
[12:37:54] DT snorts and coughs. He enters and takes in the room after giving Peace a 'don't tempt the universe' look. "So...were they doing tests on animals here you think?"
[12:39:06] Peace covers her mouth with one hoof. "Mff mrff mff... I don't know.. eeuch"
[12:42:51] <Schorcht> With a quick search of the room, the two find 2 Dash, 2 Rage, and a Buck.
[12:44:38] DT_ face lights up. "It must be my birthday...Why didn't I try looting old ghoul infested labs before!" He giggles and grabs up all the chems.
[12:45:51] Peace steps away from the room. "Its just like the office. Why do these rooms make my nose tickle so much."
[12:48:32] DT_ shrugs. "Thats the smell of loot! Old musty loot." DT exits the room and walks on. "C'mon Peace, lets see if we can find you something to wrap around your muzzle to block out the smell."
[12:49:40] <Peace> "You're wierd DT."
[12:50:48] <Schorcht> There are several rolls of bandages around the room.
[12:52:05] DT_ chuckles. "Prolly. You didn't want any of these right? Or even know what they are?" He levitates up a hit of dash. "Oh these bandages would make a good face wrap till you get a proper gas mask like me." He taps his mask.
[12:53:41] <Peace> "Okay.. maybe that works."
[12:53:47] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to the others and nods lightly, holding his nose and glancing around. "We should check the other rooms too."
[12:54:48] DT_ chuckles with an evil grin and levitates up some bandages. "Course it will work! Now hold still Peace..."
[12:55:44] <Peace> "I wish I could just hide from the smell instead."
[12:57:29] <DT_> "Toolatethisismorefun!" And proceeds to wrap Peace's face with bandages. "There. How's that block out the smell?"
[12:57:52] Peace holds still and lets DT do his work. "mmf mff mfff!"
[12:58:42] DT_ tries really really hard not to burst into laughing. "Eh? How's she look Bubblegum?"
[13:02:01] Bubblegum_Dreamer blushes a bit and chuckles a bit. "She looks fine to me, but i'd rather you didn't wrap it to where she can't speak."
[13:02:46] <Peace> "mmmfpf?" Peace looks over at DT again.
[13:03:44] DT_ laughs really hard anyway. "Ahh yeah you're prolly right. Sorry Peace. Never actually done this before...but you should be ok. It'll fall off eventually." He grins.
[13:04:32] Peace shakes her head.. expressionless behind her mufified face, Peace then proceeds towards the next door.. There is loot to be had, and not smelled.
[13:04:49] DT_ follows the mute alicorn
[13:08:22] Bubblegum_Dreamer travels with them
[13:09:36] <Schorcht> Out of all the other rooms searched the group finds a total of 3 Med-X, 2 Rage, and 2 Buck. Except DT, who finds an extremely stinky corpse.
[13:10:46] Bubblegum_Dreamer smiles and takes the Med-X but gives the rest to Peace, patting her muzzle lightly.
[13:11:15] DT_ stumbles backwards and retches a little. "Ok...no one look under that desk. Damn that stinks."
[13:12:12] Peace holds up the Buck and Rage to Bubbles. "Mppf mffp mmmph?"
[13:13:14] Bubblegum_Dreamer "It's drugs to make you stronger and better to take damage. It's good for you in battle but you could get addicted."
[13:14:21] DT_ puts as much distance between him and the desk as he can. "They're chems! They make you fight better. That one'll numb pain, that makes you hit harder and that'll keep you going after a beating."
[13:15:39] Peace looks at them and pause, and decide to pocket them.
[13:18:05] <Peace> "mp m fum?"
[13:20:11] DT_ walks up to Peace. "Here let me cut a little bit of that away so you can talk...and you know breathe." He chuckles.
[13:21:45] Bubblegum_Dreamer shrugs a bit to Peace. "Can't tell what you said."
[13:21:55] Peace nods and follows. As she is freed again. "Are we done?"
[13:22:55] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Just about, we should move on."
[13:23:07] Peace nods.
[13:24:15] DT_ grins. "Yep we got a pretty good haul. Thanks for reminding us to loot it. The unworthy won't be a problem now!" DT moves on.
[13:30:38] <Schorcht> The hallway splits off on a T intersection. There is an observation window blocked by shudders along the front wall of the intersection. By the right side of it looks to be a button with an intercom on it.
[13:32:10] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks as he moves and presses the button
[13:32:15] <Schorcht> The tub rattles on the roof and Steve makes his appearance once more. "Taking your sweet time"
[13:32:22] <Schorcht> tube*
[13:33:05] DT_ approaches the observation window. "Hmm if we could figure out how to get these shudders open, we might be able to see what we're dealing with." He blinks and looks up. "Oh you have run of the whole place?"
[13:34:39] <Schorcht> The button buzzes and the shudder rises up and the intercom blares. "Here at our Ministry of Peace genetic research labs, we strive to make the most of life. Here we have a harmless little weasel" Inside the room is an operation table and from the side a robotic arm swings in and straps down a confused looking weasel to the table.
[13:35:40] DT blinks and looks into the room. "Oh...that was easy. What's a weasle?"
[13:36:16] <Peace> "That thing I think..."
[13:36:57] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks and sighs. "Please tell me it's not going to mutate it."
[13:37:21] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks up to Steve. "Steve we're doing God's work, there is no time limit on that."
[13:39:51] <Schorcht> "By orders from Ministry Mare Fluttershy we work to help animals have a voice, a choice. To help or not" The obvious stallion recording explains. "Well... ummm... you know, animals should have a choice in this war too... not that I want them to! Oh no! That's what I am trying to avoid.... I mean... if that's what they want..." A soft mare's voice explains.
[13:40:08] <Schorcht> Steve bows. "Yes, kindred"
[13:40:52] <Peace> "...?"
[13:43:36] DT blinks. "So its a recording. They were trying to make everything talk?" He watches further.
[13:45:40] <Schorcht> The intercom switches back to the stallions voice. "But under Head Scientist Sleepy Time we are going much further for those who wish to fight!" Slowly a large needle approaches the weasel and it starts to squirm and wiggle fruitlessly trying to get out.
[13:46:30] Bubblegum_Dreamer frowns as he looks at the operation. "Dad... what the fuck."
[13:46:35] <Peace> "What's happening?"
[13:47:26] DT face scrunches. "It's going to inject the weasle..."
[13:49:51] <Schorcht> The needle injects the rodent and deposits the vial's content. Once done the needle rises up and out of sight. The little creature looks even more confused and looks around for a way to escape.
[13:50:15] <Peace> "...that wasn't so bad..."
[13:50:32] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "It'll probably get worse. I can only hope it evolves a top hat and monocle."
[13:50:46] <Peace> "what?"
[13:51:30] DT frowns at Bubblegum. "Thats not funny. It's bad enough they got it rigged up on some damn button for everypony who comes along."
[13:52:45] <Schorcht> As expected the creature starts to panic. It starts to blink rapidly and tug at it's restraints up to the point it starts to foam at the mouth and choke violently. After a few seconds of that, the little creature stops moving and goes limp. "See! What a shining example of Equestria Technology! See you on the front line little soldier!" The intercom blares.
[13:53:12] <Peace> "ooow."
[13:55:04] DT snorts. "I've heard about some real fucked up stuff from before the wasteland. They deserved what they got."
[13:56:44] Bubblegum_Dreamer sighs as he looks around. "Well I'm willing to bet that the concoction just doesn't work after 200 years but.... what was my dad doing." He sighs and looks around. "We should keep exploring and moving on to do the Creators work."
[13:57:26] <Schorcht> Steve shakes his head. "Ah... another one not worthy of ascension"
[13:58:59] <Peace> "What? you keep doing this?"
[13:59:33] DT turns to Steve. "So that means you've been injected with this gunk? They're trying to make animals like you?"
[14:00:47] <Schorcht> Steve nods then pauses... then shakes his head. "Well.... no. Not injected. My grandparents were however"
[14:03:55] DT turns and head down the left hallway. "C'mon ponies. Before I get sick from more of this."
[14:04:22] Bubblegum_Dreamer thinks for a moment. "Can we get into that room?"
[14:04:50] Peace taps her hooves.
[14:05:17] <Schorcht> Steve thinks for a moment. "...Not anymore. The way has been welded shut. Besides, I'm not sure why you would"
[14:05:33] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods lightly. "Let's move on then." He starts to move.
[14:06:01] Bubblegum_Dreamer goes down the left side
[14:08:33] <Schorcht> The group starts down the hallway before a noise can be heard from the presentation room they just turned away from.
[14:09:14] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks, turning around and looking back to the room
[14:09:52] Peace keeps on walking, completely oblivious.
[14:10:39] DT is on the oblivious team
[14:11:28] <Schorcht> The weasel once again is tugging away at his restraints, but he looks a lot more... vicious. The metal holding him down bends and groans under his struggle. The rodent lets out a roar and his muscles almost literally burst and grow in size and he easily breaks his restraints. Slowly it grasps at the back of it's little head as it starts to grow in size.
[14:12:51] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "Uhhh..." He looks to his friends. "Guys, the weasel isn't dead."
[14:13:19] DT keeps walking. "It looked dead to me."
[14:14:28] <Peace> "....so its like Steve now?"
[14:14:50] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Not exactly. It's alive again, and breaking the restraints."
[14:15:29] <Peace> "Its going to need a name!"
[14:15:48] <Schorcht> It continues to grow in size until it's the size of a large dog. It roars once agains, this time echoing down the hallway. It huffs and puffs and stands on it's hind legs, standing almost as tall as Peace would be. It stares at Bubblegum in anger.
[14:16:26] Peace freeze "...thats nothing like Steve..."
[14:16:38] <DT> "What? But Steve said it...was...'Unworthy'." He scrambles back to the window. His eyes widen. "...Goddesses."
[14:17:23] <DT> "THATS whats loose in the labs in front of us?" He points to the large beast.
[14:17:49] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks and points to himself. "You think it thinks I'm my dad or something?"
[14:20:15] <Peace> "So.. uhm.. what's your name.. little guy- eh?"
[14:20:20] <Schorcht> It punches the glass as it shimmers purple. As in response the shudders close as it stares daggers at Bubblegum. Once the shudders close shut, the roar echoes once more before it is followed by pounding. A small rhythmic pound that grows in tempo. After only moments the shudder dents outwards and the pounding stops.
[14:20:47] <DT> "Great...You apparently look like your dad in a dungeon of monsters that want to kill him! Hey you mind if me an Peace escape while they're chewing on you?"
[14:21:30] Bubblegum_Dreamer frowns and sighs, transforming to his insectoid form. "How about this?" He smiles a bit.
[14:23:08] DT hmms and taps a hoof to his muzzle. "I think I like the Bubblegum distraction plan better."
[14:28:35] Bubblegum_Dreamer frowns at DT.
[14:29:57] DT grins back at Bubblegum_Dreamer. "Kidding. C'mon lets go face daddy's monsters." DT continues down the left hall.
[14:30:06] Bubblegum_Dreamer sighs as he follows him
[14:31:01] Peace follows silently...
[14:31:50] <Schorcht> Steve disappears into the massive amount of tubes that run all over.
[14:32:25] DT turns his head back as he walks. "Hey we could be violently ripped apart by prewar experimental monsters! You two should lighten up while you have the chance."
[14:33:13] <Peace> "I'm.. going to scout ahead a little bit..." Peace says and activate her cloaking spell. Disappearing out of sight.
[14:33:25] <Schorcht> They left hallway breaks off into another large room, but on the other side is a form hunking over something.
[14:33:51] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks at the thing closer with just his eyes
[14:34:08] DT freezes up and lets Peace investigate the thing.
[14:35:16] Peace looks around cautiously before a silently approaching the beast.
[14:37:25] <Schorcht> The large white creature looks much too interesting in eating this.... PONY! The pony is wearing a white overcoat and glasses. Gore hands off the creatures mouth as it nom noms away.
[14:37:57] <Schorcht> gore hangs*
[14:38:38] <Peace> "...."
[14:39:07] Peace swiftly make her way back..
[14:40:19] <Peace> "..its busy snacking on a pony." Peace whispers to DT without leaving her cloak.
[14:40:34] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to Peace. "So what was..." He hears and frowns. "Well then we kinda need to kill it don't we?"
[14:41:53] DT is a bit startled by Peace but nods in the general direction of the voice. "Yeah or could we just get by it?" He tries to see if it's blocking an exit.
[14:43:19] <Peace> "Either it will starve to death, or it will eat more ponies... And I'm sure the pony its eating has something useful on her."
[14:46:04] DT sighs. "Alright lets get it." He takes out his guns and starts to creep toward the thing.
[14:46:16] Bubblegum_Dreamer takes out his gauss pistol and moves towards it
[14:48:03] Peace walks into the room again, ready to intercept the creature if it starts charging her friends.
[14:57:56] <Schorcht> As Peace makes her way back into the room the creature sprouts 2 very large and long ears from it's back that swivel around.
[14:58:06] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "what."
[14:58:22] <DT> "...the fuck."
[14:58:40] <Peace> "Its a bunny!"
[15:01:49] Bubblegum_Dreamer takes two shots at it with his gauss pistol, afraid for his life
[15:07:01] <Schorcht> Chunks fly off the bunny monster and it roars! With a single turn it flings the corpse at Bubblegum making clean contact, covering him in gore. It starts to charge at him as well.
[15:08:47] Peace appears out of thin air right in front of the rampaging Bunny, catching it mid spring. Unable to stop the massive monster they both fall down and tumble several meters.
[15:10:19] DT chatters off shots at the strange rabbit creature.
[15:15:12] <Schorcht> It's flesh rips away from the hail of bullets in it's direction and starts to bleed, but it still stands.
[15:19:13] Peace stumble up, grab the bunny by its neck and ears and toss it in an arc above herself, not letting go and slamming it into the ground.
[15:23:03] Peace follows the slam up with a swift kick in its chest. Cracking a few of its mutants ribs.
[15:24:18] <Schorcht> The rabbit groans and roars in pain but still remains alive.
[15:26:58] Bubblegum_Dreamer follows this attack up with two more shots from his pistol, wanting to kill this beast
[15:28:08] <Schorcht> It stands up and is hit with the first one, before it staggers. The second one blows right through it's chest and the beast topples to the floor with a large THUMP.
[15:28:37] Peace sighs in relief.. "Good Shot."
[15:28:45] Bubblegum_Dreamer pants and smiles. "Yeah thanks."
[15:29:12] DT pants a little. "That thing was tough. I can see how they thought they'd make good soldiers."
[15:30:12] <Peace> "...wait, aren't these the failed ones?"
[15:31:52] DT shrugs and mutters curse words at his guns as he unjams each one. "Pretty tough failures if you ask me
[15:32:30] Bubblegum_Dreamer shakes head. "No, to Steve they're unworthy. These are the soldiers."
[15:33:28] <Peace> "...What, they made them like THIS on purpose? Why would they do that?"
[15:33:36] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "For the war." He sighs
[15:35:22] <Peace> "But that's.. so sad.. why would they do that, and animals.. why didn't they do it on other ponies instead?"
[15:35:32] <Peace> "I mean, they can say yes, right?"
[15:36:13] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Because... ponies would be too risky." He says and moves on post it to look at the pony it was eating
[15:36:28] <Schorcht> He's dead Jim.
[15:36:51] <Schorcht> The scientist pony is rather.. eaten. Not much remains.
[15:37:32] Bubblegum_Dreamer shrugs and looks around for anything
[15:40:03] <Schorcht> Anything important has been eaten.
[15:40:17] DT_ walks over to the scientist. "So...you think this guy might be with the ponies we saw upstairs? The ones that dropped us down here?"
[15:40:42] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "I think he was." He says. "I wonder how he got down here."
[15:41:58] <DT_> "They must have some other way down. We need to find it." DT takes a quick look around the room for things and an exit.
[15:42:44] Peace keeps starring the bunny.
[15:42:54] <Schorcht> The only thing around here is trash. Looks like the pony may have fought for her life.
[15:45:41] Bubblegum_Dreamer sighs as he looks for an exit or stairs
[15:49:05] <Schorcht> Nearest exit leads deeper into the complex.
[15:49:24] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "We don't want to go deeper...." He says
[15:50:03] <Peace> "...yeah."
[15:50:14] DT_ walks on deeper. "Not like we have much of a choice. Just gotta hope theres a way out down there."
[15:50:34] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods. "I agree." He walks down
[15:52:56] Peace trots on rather than being left behind.
[15:53:45] <Schorcht> Continuing deeper leads to more rooms, most of which are clean, but yield nothing but chemical notes on compounds. Nothing full. The end of the hallway here leads to a large mechanical door that stands around 15 feet tall. The door reads "Testing Chamber" It has a red light on top.
[15:54:10] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "Probably shouldn't go in there."
[15:55:37] DT_ grins. "Well maybe they're testing new dandy buck apples in there?" He starts to look for a way to open the door.
[15:57:11] <Schorcht> The door has a card reader.
[15:57:12] Bubblegum_Dreamer shrugs and sighs, looking for a card scanner or something
[15:57:18] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods and slides his Dad's card
[15:57:28] <Peace> "mhm, or maybe its two bunnies in there."
[15:58:13] DT_ chuckles at Peace. "If only you could turn us all invisible."
[15:58:32] <Peace> "I.. hrmm... never thought of that."
[15:59:59] DT_ stops mid chuckle. "Wait you could actually do that?!"
[16:00:30] <Peace> "...I never tried.."
[16:00:57] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "You think you could for us?
[16:01:03] <Schorcht> The card reader beeps and the light above the door starts to flash. A warning siren blares and finally the two doors slide apart revealing a very large interior. The room has lines running up and down its lengths, and all over there are burn marks, bullet holes, melted bits and scratch marks. One end of the room has a large mirror on it.
[16:01:34] Bubblegum_Dreamer trots into the room slowly
[16:02:06] <Peace> "Bubbles... are you sure this is a good idea?"
[16:02:34] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Not at all."
[16:03:06] <Peace> "..and I rather not experiment with magic right now."
[16:03:46] <DT_> "The good idea would of been to stay at the factory and die of old age..." He walks over to the mirror.
[16:04:15] <Schorcht> A very strange and ugly creature looks back at... wait... that's just his reflection.
[16:04:57] DT_ suddenly feels mad at something but can't imagine why.
[16:06:53] Bubblegum_Dreamer moves up to the mirror. "why is this thing not broken."
[16:08:37] DT_ shrugs. "I could fix that. Might be fun to smash one this big."
[16:08:43] Peace follows nervously..
[16:09:28] <Schorcht> Once everyone enters the room the door slams shut.
[16:09:42] <Peace> "...fuck."
[16:10:30] <Peace> "I don't like this."
[16:10:33] Peace start casting a spell
[16:11:22] DT_ whistles. "Couldn't go back anyway. It's ok Peace. You think Steve can get in here? Maybe if we find some tubes he could tell us what it was for." He starts walking through the massive room.

[16:14:19] Bubblegum_Dreamer keeps staring at the Mirror. "But everything else is slashed, shot, and burned. But this huge mirror survives? I'm not buying it." He says, reaching out to poke the mirror
[16:14:51] <Schorcht> The mirror glows purple.
[16:15:22] DT_ tail swishes in beat with the music.
[16:16:47] <Schorcht> The music is replaced with what is most likely a recording. "Welcome brave critters! I am your instructor here. Call me Cave. By now, I think your bodies have been introduced to our Combat Virus. Hey, I know what you're thinking. 'But Cave! Viruses are bad!' Well not this one!"
[16:17:51] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> From a voice from probably beyond dimensions Bubble can faintly hear a. "GOD DAMNIT SCHORCHT!"
[16:18:18] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "But Cave, you're fucking dead."
[16:20:06] DT_ frowns as he loses the music and starts to look around. When the recording starts that's when the weasle got injected.
[16:20:37] DT_ is starting to feel like the weasle.
[16:20:52] <Schorcht> "Now, Equestria truly thanks you. It does. Seriously. We have a card and everything. But that's for later. We here at the Ministry of Peace want to... well. Do just that. Keep the Peace. And under Sleepy Time, we are going to achieve just that. I know, I know. 'Make peace not war.' But we must fight for peace. So I and the others have set up a few test for you to undergo"
[16:23:01] Bubblegum_Dreamer keeps poking the Mirror
[16:25:48] <Schorcht> With the ground in their new playground, we pull you away to bring you these messages!~ BZZT!
