- >The sound of bells welcome you as you enter the library.
- Hello?
- >Something was off...
- >Twilight was nowhere in sight.
- >"Hey! Anon!" a youthful voice shouted, "Over here!"
- >You knew who's voice it was... It was Spike!
- >The little guy is practically your little brother!
- Spike, whats going on, Where's Twilight?
- >"Twilight is working on a new spell!"
- >You look around to find a few empty cages.
- >Animals?
- >"She is doing some kind of "transfer spell" or something. HEY! Wanna go play some games?!"
- >Normally, you would say yes... but your curiosity got the better of you.
- Hey Spike, where is Twilight? I want to ask her about this new spell.
- >Something REALLY doesn't sit right with you, and animal testing.
- >Spike guides you to the "lab" downstairs.
- >He continues, but you are stopped by your curiosity once more.
- >Tubes, flasks, and bottles of all sorts make your imagination wonder off.
- >What could Twilight be doing with all those animals?!
- >Horrible images pops into your head.
- >A "transfer spell?"
- >Is she transferring animal brains into one big one, making the "perfect brain?!"
- >Is she transferring the animals organs into her own? Making SUPER Twilight?!
- >You had a very wild imagination...
- >You and Spike finally reach Twilight, with a poor defenseless animal tied up.
- WAIT, NO!
- >You run and jump over the animal, trying to protect it.
- >Twilight looks at you puzzled.
- >"Anon...ymous?"
- DONT HURT THEM!
- >Twilight rolls her eyes.
- >You are covering the poor defenseless rabbit with your life.
- Don't worry buddy I'll sa-
- >The bunny slaps you in the face.
- >Twilight laughs.
- >"Anonymous! These animals are here because they WANT to be here. I am making a new spell that transfers target creature into a book!"
- >Twilight uses her magic to send a book over to you.
- >The words: Food, wonderful FOOD! was on the cover.
- >Maybe you did over react...
- >The bunny slaps you in the face once more.
- Okay, okay!
- >You jump back.
- >Twilight giggles.
- >"This spell can be used to feed and help animals!"
- >You open the book.
- >You can see animals eating, and birds in the air.
- This... THIS IS AMAZING!
- >"The spell does have a few flaws..."
- Flaws?
- >"Well, when an animal is put into the book, and if the book is altered or written in, then so is the animals surroundings!"
- >...
- >Twilight writes something in the book.
- >She wrote: And then, a small stream passed through the field.
- >The animals on the opposite page shifted!
- >Suddenly, a stream came running down the middle of the field!
- >It looked so vivid, you can almost jump right in!
- >"Some might see this as a good thing but..."
- >You didn't really understand...
- >...
- >As long as the animals are safe.
- >Your happy.
- Hey, Twilight.
- >"Yes Anonymous?"
- Has animals ever come out yet?
- >"Why yes! Of course! But most usually want to go back into the book. Its peaceful, and has an almost endless amount of food and water!"
- Oh...
- >Twilight goes through a shelf, looking for a book.
- >You continue to scan through the book.
- >Animals seem to be so happy in here.
- >...
- >You cant help but to feel sorry for the little critters.
- >These animals are living in paradise, but none of its real!
- >You sigh.
- Oh well.
- >You close the book.
- >Spike runs up to Twilight.
- >"Can I go in a book?!"
- >Twilight smiles.
- >"Im sorry Spike, but your a dragon! Your natural ability is to be more magic resistant then normal. Maybe when I work on this spell more, then I can send you in. We wouldn't half of you in the book, and half of you out in the open!"
- >Spike gave a depressing sigh.
- >"But... Anonymous, here, can do it!"
- >Spike jumps up.
- >"ANON! DO IT! DO IT!"
- >That caught you off guard.
- Um...
- >You scratch your cheek
- >Why does he ALWAYS make you do these kinds of things...
- >His eyes were wide, dead-set on you.
- Well.. uh...
- >Damn it Twilight! YOU were the one that put it into his head!
- >You couldn't tell the little guy, no!
- >Twilight smiles.
- >You cautiously accept.
- So... what book will I-
- >Suddenly, the three of you hear a noise upstairs.
- >"Ouch, OUCH!"
- >Somep0ny is in trouble!
- >You quickly run upstairs, carrying spike on your head.
- >As you make it into the room, where you heard the noise, you see Twilight moving books around.
- >Twilight probably just teleported up here.
- >Twilight moves a large book on the history of Pain.
- >Out from the pile, you see RainbowDash!
- >She has a HUGE bruise on her head!
- >Twilight teleports away.
- Hey, Rainbow! You okay?!
- >Hey head was swaying left to right.
- >"Y-yeah! Im the prettiest pony in all the land!"
- >Oh boy...
- >Twilight returns with an ice pack.
- >"Rainbow Dash, here. Lets get you somewhere that's not in the middle of the room, covered in books."
- >Spike begins to giggle.
- >You rip the guy off your head and put him down.
- >You follow them to Twilight's bed.
- >Rainbow dash seems latching on to something...
- >Twilight leaves the room to make some tea.
- Hey, Rainbow... whacha got there?
- >she squeezes the unknown package.
- >"Its nothing..."
- >Rainbow was staring at the wall in front of her.
- >It was OBVIOUSLY something!
- >...
- >Twilight returned with the tea.
- >Rainbow's eyes lit up.
- >"Twilight I HAVE TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING!!"
- >Rainbow flew off the bed.
- >"Calm down RainbowDash! You can tell me when we go down into the lab! Spike, I would like for you to go to the ink store and get more ink! Seems like our extra, extra ink is running low!"
- >Spike face-claws.
- >He makes his way out.
- >Rainbow uncovers what she was hiding.
- >Oh god...
- >no...
- >NO!!!
- >YOU ARE PAST THE NOPE ZONE, YOU ARE UNABLE TO NOPE!
- >Twilight used her magic to bring the object over to her.
- >TWILIGHT, NOOOOOO!
- >"Oh my! A Daring-Do Fan fiction!"
- >...
- >RainbowDash blushed and put her hoof behind her head.
- >"Y-yeah... I just wanted to hear your opinion on it.
- >You remained silent, falling back into the testing chair.
- >You would rather be shoved into a book, then have to deal with this.
- >Fan-fiction... PONY FAN-FICTION...
- >You remained polite about the subject, you didn't want to offend RainbowDash...
- >Twilight and RainbowDash sit next to each other, both consumed in the book.
- Um...
- >Twilight turns to you, with a blush on her face.
- >"Anonymous! I am so sorry... lets start the process right now then."
- >Rainbow Dash closes the book and flies next to you.
- >"Hey Anon, here! I want your to read it next!"
- >She tosses the book on your lap.
- >The Epic of Daring Do! By: Rainbow Dash
- >Oh god...
- >You place the book on a near-bye table.
- I'll get to it later Rainbow.
- >She smiled
- >Rainbow Dash zooms out.
- >Twilight picks up the book near you.
- >She uses her magic to raise a book.
- >Her eyes are closed...
- Um...
- >"Here we go Anon!"
- Twilight, thats-
- >"Haaaa!"
- THATS NOT-
- >All you could see is the book, and Rainbow Dashes horrid hoof writing.
- >RainbowDash really needs to work on that.
- >Everything goes black for a moment.
- >It was humid, all of a sudden.
- >You felt... dirty.
- >Like... ACTUAL dirt.
- >What is this stuff?!
- >You wipe-off whatever was on your face.
- >It smelled of rain, and soil.
- "HELLO?!" your voice echoed for a moment.
- >It was hard to see past the vines that hung from the trees.
- IS ANYONE THERE?! TWILIGHT, CAN YOU HEAR- I MEAN READ ME?!
- >All you could hear, was the sound of frogs and a few crunching sounds.
- >This is getting more and more ridiculous.
- >In the distance you can see a light.
- >ANYTHING is better then just standing around here.
- >Faintly... you can hear someone.
- HEY! HELLO?!
- >Your walk turned to a sprint, dodging vines and branched.
- >The light looked like an exit.
- >YES!
- >You stop immediately before the light.
- >It was an exit alright...
- >You look out, and see the vast world Rainbow Dash had made with a few words.
- >A lush jungle, with birds and a roaring waterfall in view.
- >Rainbow...
- >You are DEFIANTLY going to take peak at this book as soon as you escape this place.
- >You sit down, dangling your feet off the ledge.
- *sigh*
- >It looks so beautiful...
- >You look over to the waterfall
- >The roaring, white waters that fell from it looked so refreshing.
- >And the tan pony tied-up looks so-
- >A TAN PONY IS TIED UP, DANGLING TO HER DEATH?!
- >You stand up and make your towards the waterfall, cutting down any branches or vines in your way.
- >Will you make it in time?!
- ____________________________________________________________________
- On the other side...
- ____________________________________________________________________
- >You are Twilight...
- >That spell took ALOT out of you.
- >You walk up the stairs, leading to your room.
- >You could barely lift your hooves!
- >Wait...
- >You use your magic to teleport yourself onto your bed.
- >[insert teleporting sound effect here]
- >WOW!
- >You are even more... *yawn*
- >Exhausted then before!
- >You adjust your pillow.
- >You should... probably...take...
- >ZZZZzzzz...
- >...
- >Well then.
- >You are Spike.
- >Anonymous just went into the book!
- >That was soooo cool when his body like... shrank and stretched into the book!
- >You run over to the book Anon was supposed to be in.
- I wonder what kinds of food he is eating!
- >You grab the Food book and crack it open.
- >Now, where is Anon...
- Hm...
- >You search through the book.
- >Nothing.
- >Thats weird... usually, the animal, but in this case Anon, would be on the first few pages.
- >You'll be sure to tell Twilight when she wakes up.
- >In the mean time...
- >A gem was sitting across the room, shining in the sunlight.
- Its just you and me, buster...
- >The ultimate showdown!
- >You intend to win this battle.
- >Your mouth began to salivate.
- Here I come!
- >You lunge towards the gem.
- NOW I'VE GOT YOU!
- ____________________________________________________________________
- Back in the Book
- ____________________________________________________________________
- >How far away is that waterfall?!
- >You've miscalculated somewhere...
- >You stop.
- That pony...
- >You clenched your fists.
- Could be dead by now! But...
- >You calm down.
- >The best thing to do right now is to calm down... and listen.
- >The world began to dissipate.
- >Your senses heightened.
- >The sounds of the forest began to dull down, and very faintly you can hear the falls.
- >You found it!
- >The sprinting resumed.
- >Your hands acted like blades, cutting down whatever got in your way.
- >Come on, mystery pony... hang on!
- >You arrive at the waterfall.
- >Now... where is that pony?
- >You jump on the rocks to have a better view.
- >THERE!
- >You can see the tan pony dangling by a rope, tied to its back hoof.
- HANG ON! I'm coming down to rescue you!
- >The pony seems be knocked out.
- >You hold on to the edge, and began to make your ascension down the side of the falls.
- >The wind began to pick up.
- >Water began to fall on your from the falls.
- >It felt like small shards of glass.
- HOLD ON!
- >The hard part...
- >You make your way, closer and closer towards the pony.
- >One foot and one hand held your to the edge.
- >Your other foot was awkwards put on a rock that was sticking out.
- >Your arm could barely reach the pony.
- >The wind pushed the pony away.
- >Damn!
- >You shuffled inward, traveling further into the falls.
- >What was once small sharps of glass beating against your face, now felt like bullets.
- >Each second you waste, is another second feeling the pain of a thousands bullets shooting at you.
- >The pony was to far...
- >Suddenly, your hear something above.
- >The rope she was dangling by was also getting hit by the water.
- >It couldn't hold on for much longer.
- Come on! COME ON!
- >A snap was heard from above.
- >No...
- NOOOOO!!!
- >You give up on reaching.
- >You dive for the pony.
- >As soon as it was safely in your grasp, you straightened your back and made sure your feet was to enter the water first.
- >It felt like ages of falling.
- >When the time came, the surface of the water almost felt like concrete.
- >You let out a gasp of precious air, unconsciously.
- >Every bit of air counts now...
- >You and the pony were deep under the water.
- >The water was clean enough to open your eyes.
- >The pony was at the bottom of the water.
- >You swam down to rescue her but...
- >You were being watched.
- >As soon as you grabbed her, something grabbed you.
- >You let another gasp of precious air.
- >You turn to see a huge crocodile, smiling in your face.
- >WHY?!
- >You grab the pony and make your way towards the surface.
- >The croc was just sitting... waiting....
- >Your throw the pony on the land.
- >You hope thats fine...
- >Imediately after the throw, a huge pain hits your right leg!
- >The crocodile has you right in its chompers!
- >You knew what was coming next...
- >The death roll!
- >You took out... a pencil?
- >You began stabbing at the croc, hoping it would get through...
- >No luck.
- >It looked like... the croc was smiling!
- Im not your lunch, ya big lizard!!!
- >Your pencil landed square in the Crocodiles eye.
- >You ripped the pencil out and was ready to stab again.
- >But the croc stopped!
- >It let go of your leg and swam back into the water, leaving a blood trail behind it.
- >Your leg was injured to the point were a "normal person" wouldnt be able to walk.
- >But...
- >You weren't a "normal person."
- >You can see the blood seep through your pants.
- >It was stinging, but your made sure that you didn't lose anymore blood.
- >The pony!
- >You crawl over to the pon- mare!
- >You untie the the mare.
- >You thought she was a "stallion" explorer... or something!.
- >Now that you think of it... she resembled RainbowDash... but with less color.
- >Her cutie mark was of a compass, she must be some sort of adventurer.
- >She was unconscious, so you put her over your shoulder, and made way to find some shelter.
- >Your leg was bleeding again, probably from the tan mare over your shoulder.
- >You began limping to...
- >You dont even know.
- >The jungle gave off a cool breeze for a moment.
- >Everything just hit you.
- >That whole water fall thing, the crocodile, everything!
- >Your leg gives out, you and the mare fall to the ground.
- >Well, at least you aren't next to that place with the croc's.
- >You pulled the mare closer.
- >Best thing to do is share body heat.
- >The sun was well over the horizon.
- >Things are gonna get creepy, up in the jungle!
- >The ground floor isn't the best place...
- >You take the mare, and crawl into a a dead tree's opening.
- >This can provide some amount of shelter...
- >The sounds of the jungle began to die down...
- >All you can hear were the crickets, toads, and an occasional bird here and there.
- >The mare was lying on your lap.
- >She was warm... which was great.
- >Your leg stopped bleeding, finally.
- >Your head sat comfortably on the bark behind you.
- Man... im exhausted.
- >Who were you telling?
- >The pony is asleep.
- >Maybe you were just telling yourself that...
- >Telling yourself that it is time to rest.
- >Your eyes began to close and open...
- >Your head was bobbing as well.
- >Its safe to sleep here... right?
- >The jungle's night plays a nice lullaby, as you drifted off into dreamland.
- _________________________________________________________________
- >The sound of frogs and toucans above woke you up.
- >The tan mare was still asleep on your lap.
- >You place your hand on her mane.
- Hmm...
- >What are you going to do?
- >You gaze off, looking at the tree's ahead of you.
- >Twilight must be up by now...
- >She is usually up early in the morning.
- >You shift your eyes from the tree's to the tan mare.
- >She was wide awake.
- >Well then.
- >She jumps off of your lap.
- >"..."
- I... uh...
- >She puts her hoof up, acting as though she was laughing.
- >"..."
- >Why was she so quiet?
- >Her wings extended.
- Um...
- >It quickly tightens back up.
- >A blush was clearly visible... probably the jungle heat or something.
- >She flies up, over the tree tops, and looks around.
- >Was this mare a mute?
- >She flew back down.
- >She begins to nudge you in a direction.
- Are you trying to lead me somewhere?
- >She face-hooves.
- >She flew-up, about your chest level, and pushes you in the same direction.
- Okay! Okay! I got you.
- >She flies ahead of you. She seems to be... scouting?
- Hey Dash, what are you-
- >Why did you say Dash?
- >Did she remind you of RainbowDash that much?
- >Hm...
- Twilight's POV
- >Celestia's warm rays shine upon you.
- Good morning Princess...
- >"Twilight, why are you saying good morning princess?"
- >You just back.
- >Spike!
- >Alright... that was a close one...
- >"Twilight?"
- Huh? Uh... No reason.
- >You try your best to put on a smile.
- >"Alright... Hey, have you seen Anon?"
- >Anon... ANON! He must still be in the book!
- >You jump out of bed.
- >"Twilight, Anon is..."
- No time Spike! Anon is trapped, and I accidently left him ALL night!
- >"But..."
- No but's!
- >Spike groans.
- >You rush down to the testing room.
- There it is!
- >You grab the food book.
- >...
- >...
- >...
- >WHAT?!
- >You shuffled through the book several times.
- Spike! Where is Anonymous?!
- >"Thats what I've been trying to tell you!"
- >Spike walks over towards the book laid out.
- >"I've searched through all of the food and cooking books... Still no Anonymous..."
- >Your heart sank.
- Anonymous...
- >You turn to see piles and piles of books.
- >"No..."
- >With a sadness in your eyes, you look down at Spike.
- Unfortunately... Yes.
