Story follows the books, not the TV series. Sandark kills Christopher, Belkut doesn't show up till after the terrorist attack, Yui gets shot and supposedly dead. The Master is working for the Alternative 5 people, escapes on a submarine, and plots to drop the space shuttle thing on Yokohama (and is never seen again, his face is never even shown and unlike the TV series there's no indication that he's German either).

    Yui is fine, her being dead was a cover story.

    The XFJ project is in trouble because both Shiranui Seconds took on the Terminator, a generation 2.5 TSF during the terrorist attack and only barely won, and they now have to compete directly against the Soviets who now have Su-47s to prove that they're better (otherwise the Japanese will just strike a deal with the Russians instead).

    Kriska's powers are deteriorating and she grows closer to Yuuya. In order to beat the Russians Heineman reveals the Phase 3 which basically turns the Shiranui into an upgraded Black Widow. It turns out that Yui and Yuuya are half-siblings and Heineman knew all along (also he was in love with Yuuya's mother).

    The CIA locks down the XFJ project because the Shiranui Phase 3 supposedly contains national secrets from the Black Widow, meanwhile Kriska's power deteriorates to the point that the Soviets decide to dispose of her.

    Yuuya hears about the thing with Kriska from Inia and decides to rescue her, with help from the DIA he hijacks the Shiranui and shit happens and he succeeds in getting Kriska and Inia away but Kriska dies anyway because she's been off her meds for too long (also he has a sword fight with Yui along the way).

    Instead of bringing Kriska and Inia to America to defect like the DIA guy told him to he's afraid Inia will be experimented on and wants to bury Kriska in her motherland and so heads over to Kamchatska where he meets Latrowa who was alive and in hiding, he goes underground with her.

    Two months later, operation cherry blossom. The Soviets are in charge of taking on Evensk Hive but a new class of BETA, several times the size of a fortress and similar-looking except it has three heads each with three heavy laser class eyeballs that can snipe at orbit shows up and vapourizes the shit out of everything. Kriska's ghost starts singing to Yuuya and he charges at it just as it starts opening fire at the Susanoo.

    ED song kicks in, credits roll, the end.

    Nothing after the credits.

    THE END.

Sandark got away scot free with everything and is on some ship somewhere and he sees the ghost-powered Shiranui and declares that he was totally right about Yuuya being the best catalyst. That's all from him.

The girls behind him are clearly more Alternative 3 leftovers so he's still fucking around with experiments.

Supposedly the Alternative 3 girls were made from his sister.

The new triple-dick class BETA.

It rallies the laser classes to snipe at the Susanoo while ignoring the AL things, jams and hacks into human communications, doesn't give a shit about other BETA in its line of fire, and has like a million fortress-class tentacles

SUPER GHOST POWER

The things around it are Su-47s with Kriska clones powered by Kriska's ghost

    My last save. it went on for about another hour after that so 28 hours altogether.


The game doesn't really overlap with Alternative at all.

Oh right during operation cherry blossom there are little shots of the other Argos people fighting in operations around the world, but otherwise that's it.

The last parts of the game just felt really rushed and incomplete.

And seriously come on he charges the enemy and THE END ROLL CREDITS WHAT THE FUCK



    Oh right, Yui gives Yuuya her family sword which is traditionally inherited by the head of the family, and she says outright to his face that traditionally it's supposed to be handed down to the eldest son.

    He has no clue and just goes all "cool sword" and takes it. In the end only Yui, Heineman and Iwaya are the only ones who know that they're siblings.



    So anyway yeah

    Clearly the suicide run on the laser thing worked because the Susanoo didn't blow up and Inia's confirmed to be fine later on and hanging out with Kasumi but we have no idea what happened to Yuuya.

    Sandark is still on the loose and seems to be still doing funny experiments.

    The Master is still on the loose and is mysterious and shit.

    Basically the only closure in any form we're actually given in Total Eclipse can be summed up as "Kriska dies".


Yuuya and Inia are in hiding with Ratrowa who's supposed to be dead. They were going to head to Japan but decided to crash the party instead.

And yes A-04 in orbit above, heading for the original hive.


He says that his mother probably learned how to cook nikujaga from his father

He also says that Yui's nikujaga tastes exactly like his mother's

Yui tells him that her nikujaga recipe comes from her father, and that the Japanese usually don't put pepper in it like she and his mother do.

He goes "oh huh that's cool" and has no fucking clue.



Remnants of Kriska remained in her mass produced clones, when the prafka got turned up they probably linked with Inia like Kriska did before and Yuuya being there awakened the memories of Kriska within them (the same happened with another clone before so it's the same thing on a bigger scale).



    Oh right it's also stated that prafka lets them see into the future.

    Zero system basically.

    The mass production clones were dodging lasers after they were fired.

The prafka made the clone link with Inia and get Kriska's memories. Inia was completely out of control but the clone stopped her.

Kriska shot her by request because she was in the cocoon thing we saw in the show, they're completely crippled when they're put in there. It was a mercy killing.

Another complaint I have is the clone was developed so little and had so little screen time I can't even remember her name now.

All the mass production clones are in cocoons too.

Prafka is the pilots reading and projecting each other at the same time, for some reason (they only know that it happens but don't know why) it also lets them see a bit into the future.

    Speaking of the clone it was her who attacked Latrowa at the end of the Kamchatska part, not Kriska and Inia who were somewhere else entirely at the time.

Supposedly they're all made from Sandark's sister.



    Final form of the Idal project seen during operation cherry blossom (FYI the russians call it cherry blossom, not ouka) as completed by the Soviets (though not Sandark, he seems to be somewhere else entirely) is a bunch of black Belkuts controlled by cocoons, with a single white Belkut with a regular pilot backed up by another cocoon controlling them remotely.

    When they turn up the prafka with Inia nearby they lose control of the Belkuts and the white one rips the pilot out of itself and throws him to the BETA.



    And just because I've seen retards going on about hurrr no yuuya just pities kriska YUI IS DUH BEST GURL MY PAIRING IS BEST PAIRING BAWWWWWW

    She says she loves him but tells him that her emotions come from Inia. and that her feelings may be fake, copied from Inia, and he says it doesn't matter where they came from but what they're feeling now and that he loves her.

The XFJ people still chase after him and she has her sword fight with him in the Shiranui Second Phase 3 unit 2.

She's only out of it really in the last episode (cherry blossom) which is like the last 2.5% of the game.

For the most part she's pretty much the second main character.

Almost all the briefing screens are completely blank.

They said on twitter that it was because of the budget.

Flashbacks to Kyoto a lot and so all the people from the first two episodes of the TV series are in, though it's only the girls who have any lines. They don't actually do the whole thing, just PTSD flashbacks.

    Oh right and Yui (and Yuuya's) father died at Yokohama hive. G bomb.

When Yuuya thinks of all the people he knows before charging Yui's the last to show up at least.

For some reason their dad's there too even though he never knew him.

    They never really say what's going on inside the cocoons but when Yuuya sees Matika's he says it's too small to fit a person into.


Oh and Kriska says Matika doesn't want Yuuya to see her in her state inside the cocoon.

Also Matika was in love with Yuuya too because prafka even though she had like five minutes of screen time altogether and exchanged like two lines of dialogue with him (which were basically "fuck off and get away from Inia")



    Oh right Matika has a red Belkut with purple highlights.

    The leader of the mass production idals is white with red highlights, the rest are the usual black and red.

    Oh and when the song starts at the end Yui seems to hear it too even though she seems to be really far away (at Evensk they're in the middle of a fucking blizzard, she seems to be fighting in some desert, maybe Kashgar)

    Oh and it's suggested (never said) that the DIA guy (in >>9130543 (You) ) might be Yuuya's uncle.

    Also Yuuya thought he was being sent to Alaska as punishment for something but actually it was more like an internship and they were planning on promoting him when he got back, plus he was requested personally by Heineman, and Leon volunteered for the job at the XFJ project but was turned down.

Oh and Kriska is Inia's younger sister. Inia can't grow because Alternative 3 and psychics and whatever.

The feelings Inia has for Yuuya were converted to love when synched with Kriska or something.

Inia's hobby is wandering around the base looking at the "darkness" (not like malice or whatever but traumatic pasts and shit) in people's hearts and she found the "white darkness" in Yuuya (the shit with his race and father) the most attractive.

Around the second half of the game she keeps saying things about him going farther away, at first it seems like that's supposed to mean him getting along better with Yui but it actually meant him coming to terms with his past.



    Also Talisa makes fun of Italy

No real explanation for the whole dummy plug thing at the end.

She doesn't remember the lyrics to it but when Inia hums it at her grave Latrowa identifies the song and explains the fairy tale (see >>9129752 (You) )

Mira got pregnant with Tadamasa's child, and was afraid that the CIA would use her as political leverage against him and went into hiding, he didn't even know she was pregnant.

    Oh right and it turns out Yuuya's FUCKING JAPS grandfather actually cared about him and was a friend of the brigadier general who sent Yuuya to Alaska, and had asked him to take care of Yuuya.

Rogovsky is now in charge of the Idals with Balleawraohwrav or however you spell his name. Because the Idals get fucked up big time presumably he'll lose his position and get sent to Siberia or something.

Yuuya went into hiding under the bald base commander guy whose name I've forgotten, and in the final chapter they only say that they were heading to Japan but not why.


He was SUPPOSED to bring Kriska and Inia to the US to defect but that plan got fucked up because he ended up fighting and taking down a Soviet Terminator (the one Kriska and Inia had been using, only piloted by Sandark) and so he decided to head for Russia instead because he wanted to bury Kriska in her homeland. For now she's buried in Kamchatsky but he promises to move her to her real homeland (the Alternative 3 research facility) some day when they take back Europe.


The phase 3 uses stolen tech from the Black Widow and was originally not meant to be tested at Yukon (they would've upgraded it in Japan where the national security people wouldn't be able to touch them) but they ended up upgrading it to beat the Belkut because of the deal between Japan and the Soviets. The project got locked down and then Yuuya run off with the thing before they could actually fight, though.

His goal was to have their children populate the world, and he's succeeding because most of the main TSFs being used around the world right now are descendants of his children.

The thing about him leaking the Tomcat specs to Russia was part of this.
