Sep 19 01:27:49 <Knave>	Emmett often found himself conflicted. A deep part of him appreciated the romantic idea of a love letter. Physical evidence of love. A token of affection. Expression of endearment. It was the specifics where it fell apart. For instance, if he had something to tell Elspeth, delivering a letter would be less straightforward and far more effort than simply telling her face to face, and meant that he would not get to enjoy her company. And beside that, he didn't think of himself as much of a writer, nor did he think his handwriting particularly pretty. And if one were to type a love letter, one may as well send a text message, surely. Which is why Elspeth receives the message, <Darling, you are as ever in my thoughts. I wonder when next I might see you?>
Sep 19 01:32:21 <SavanahHolland>	Sitting alone in her bedroom, laying on her bed among the silk white sheets and sighing to herself, closing her eyes. Nothing seemed to go her way these days, not that it mattered in the end, she had what she cared to have. Emmett being one of them. Her arm going down her other, pale white skin among white lace and black velvet, the short dress with the ivory lace collar, as well as lining the bottom of her short black dress, no sleeves of course. Paired off with white stockings and shiny black mary janes, her hair up in a bun. The faint buzz of her phone, promping her to grab it with a delicate touch, reading it as a soft smile appears on her lips. <If you are not busy, perhaps now? I have information to share with you.>

I will be there presently.> True as ever to his word - at least, where Elspeth is concerned - Emmett pulls a long, flappy coat on over his ruffled shirt and makes haste to Elspeth's room. He briefly considers letting himself in, being invited and all, but ultimately decides to knock. One could never be too careful when it came to boundaries.

Smiling more so as he enters, beckoning him to sit next to her on the edge of her bed. "I vas contacted bhy the school again.. abouht the flowers."
Sep 19 01:44:33 <Knave>	Emmett's face contorts with concern as he crosses the room and takes his seat. "Yes?" He reaches a hand to hold hers, "Have they uncovered the culprit?" Emmett's brow, beneath his goggles, is a single hard line, his mouth a tight curve of consternation.

He seems deeply upset, but keeps his voice steady and measured at her urging, "That the guilty are protected and the innocent punished is little better than barbarism. Do they care nothing for truth? For justice? We must do something about it, Elspeth."

Sep 19 02:05:45 <Knave>	"They are in the wrong." Emmett says with quiet conviction, hugging Elspeth, "If they will not yield to either reason or compassion, then we will force their hand. There are ways, and the righteous will win out." He plants a reassuring kiss on her cheek, "Are you okay?"

Sep 19 02:09:44 <Knave>	"Perhaps mine will." He says, "I would not like to call on them, but some things are more important than my pride. Your safety, and security." He rests his head against hers, "And if we cannot bring them to a court of law, let them be tried in the court of public opinion."

Sep 20 02:47:14 <SavanahHolland>	She bites her lower lip, taking a deep breath "Youh're right.. ja, ja." moving a hand up to page a lock of hair behind her ear that had come loose from her bun. "Besides all of this.. how have youh been?"
Sep 20 02:50:58 <Knave>	He sighs, then says with a trace of what one might imagine is his mother's stiff upper lip, "We carry on as normal. No new problems, but no breakthroughs. I cannot complain." He gives her a smile, small even by his standards, but encouraging, "I live in hope that somebody will be willing to pay for a miracle."

I believe I saw the posting for iht.." she half mumbles the latter "Though iht vould be unfair forh me toh get one.. I already have a miracle- youh~" Paired off with a wink, damn was that cheesy.

Your mind is sharp, expansive, and unique. Whenever I think I might know how to approach you," He moves his head in towards hers, lips close, "You reveal more beauty." He kisses her gently.

Giving back in it and wrapping her arms around his neck, softly smiling "Youh say youh are noht a poet, buht vith vords like that I strongly disagree, mhy love."
