"THE LADDER" - Dark Souls 2 SotFS event - HOW RANKING WORKS

HOW THE RANKING WORKS:

When you enter you've a basis of 200 Points.

When you fight a set ("Best of 3", "Best of 5", whatever you agreed to previously) with an opponent:
A win  = +20 Points
A loss = -20 Points

If your opponent is in a different bracket:
Opponent in a higher bracket: Per bracket 10 additional points if you win. Per bracket 5 Points less penalty if you lose.
Opponent in a lower bracket: Per bracket 5 points less if you win. Per bracket 10 additional Points penalty if you lose.

You cannot get less than 5 Points rewards/penalty!
You cannot have a negative amount of total Points!


BRACKETS:
000 - 099
100 - 199
200 - 299
300 - 399
400 - 499
etc.

EXAMPLE:
You enter the event and have the basic 200 Points.
You challenge someone with 220 Points.
You win the matches.
You get +20 Points and your opponent loses 20.
You have now 220 Points and your opponent has 200 Points.

Next you're challenged by someone having 370 Points. Reminder: You've 220 Points - your opponent is 2 brackets above you.
You lose the matches. Since the opponent was 2 brackets above you, you lose 5 points less per bracket than normal - that's 10 Points penalty! You've 210 Points now.
Your opponent gets 5 less points for each bracket above you. He gets +10 Points instead of the normal +20. He has 380 Points now.
