- First of all, make sure you make your USB pendrive by using this method,
- http://docs.kali.org/installation/kali-linux-live-usb-install. Other methods my
- not work properly.
- Or, you may consider to format the pendrive in FAT32 before making it Kali.

- Hello Samiux from the very beginning I followed those steps I still had the
- problem of not installing Kali Linux amd 64.
- I only followed the directions under "Preparing for the USB copy" and "Kali
- Linux Live USB Install Procedure"
- I will tell you exactly what I did
- first I downloaded my Kali Linux amd 64 from my 30GB USB from my desktop windows
- vista 32 bit Operating System then I got Win32 Disk Imager and I click the
- option "write" then I transfer that to my Laptop which unlike my desktop this is
- a Linux based Operating System 64 bit this is where I will install Kali Linux
- amd 64 bit.Sadly I was not successful.
- And as MrBlackhat said: "it runs live mode perfect."
- To look at the results of the commands "dmesg" "lsmod" and "lspci" please
- refer to the first post I made.
- And yes Samiux I am using FAT32

- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Download the Kali Linux iso to the hard drive of your computer. If you are
- using Windows system, you can follow the procedure of installing Kali to the USB
- driver at http://docs.kali.org/installation/kali-linux-live-usb-install. Follow
- the "Imaging Kali on a Windows Machine" to make a USB bootable Kali Linux which
- can be used for installation and live operation.
- Make sure your USB pendrive is 4GB in size or larger.

- sorry that I am banned from Kali Linux forum and channel for the reason at
- http://samiux.blogspot.com/2013/03/what-is-going-on-for-kali-linux.html
- Therefore, I will not use Kali Linux any more.

- Samiux from the very get go even before I reported this bug,I had already
- followed those directions: "Kali Linux Live USB Install Procedure" "Preparing
- for the USB copy"
- But anyway I think the best thing to do is to burn a DVD-R with an iso file
- and not use a USB.
