  1. <insert quoted post mentioning people being babies because modding somehow boosts content in comparison to the console port here>
  2.
  3. yes, my feelings exactly. You're all bein' babies. I was mad at first (especially because I bought it the week after it was announced and didn't notice until after I'd been playing for a month) but recently I realized, why is it that Minecraft has so fewer mods than Terraria. And no, it's not because we're so much more awesome (although that IS true), its because redigit stopped updating. In Minecraft modders don't bother, because every time Minecraft gets updated, they have to go back, and recompile their mod, and oftentimes have to go back and redo half their items because the new content invalidates their mod, making it so that the vast majority of work being done on a mod is fixing the stuff the most recent update broke.
  4. now, for all you people too lazy to try the mods and don't feel at all pleased, stop complaining and go play Minecraft like the rest of the ^#$%^#$ that won't play a game that is at the top of the world's best selling list.
  5. besides, no updates means the obnoxious part of the community peels away, I've seen no end to the haters and trolling in the older posts about a week after the updates stopped, they disappeared, almost as if by magic. There are newbs, and all our complaining really does is drive away all the people who could actually contribute.
  6. the servers are still there, the mods of Terraria grow faster than should be possible, and the corrosion caused by the disappearance of the protection once provided by Red has removed the gritty exterior, and revealed a heart of gold. And lets face it, every last one of us is complaining because they are making a console version. I think Red is letting them have new content for a reason.
  7. Ever notice how Terraria was built around the purpose of being a haven for mods? he hit as far as he could add without destroying the mod community. Why give the console version new content? because. Due to the nature of the consoles, some content would have to be removed, it was just to replace content the console Terrarians wouldn't get, besides, there was no modding community for console version, so he could add stuff there without messing up mods.

  9. now, just to make one last point. Really think to yourself, all of you complaining about the lack of content. How many of you would be complaining about the updates messing up your mods if Redigit hadn't stopped updating? be honest!
  10. that's what I thought.
