- A city produces 5 things
- food
- water
- space
- renown
- defence
- Food, water, space and defence do not accumulate.
- whenever renown = population the city population expands by 20% and subtracts that amount of renown.
- ie. city population is 10, renown hits 14, city population increases by 2 to 12 and renown is reduced by 10 to 4 with the next goal being at 12.
- Renown and population are re calculated at noon every day.
- excess defence produces 1 renown a day, deficit defence produces -1/2 renown a day
- excess space, food, and water produce 1/2 renown a day(rounded down)
- Each person consumes
- 1 food and 1 water and 1 defence
- Each person can have 1 job and 1 lodging
- poor people consume 1 space for lodging
- medium income people consume 2 space for lodging
- Rich people consume 4 space for lodging
- if there is not enough space, food and water for the entire population the difference is subtracted from population (poor first) and no renown is accumulated that turn.
- whenever 10 poor people are accumulated, the next person to join the city will be a medium person.
- whenever 10 medium people are accumulated, the next person to join the city will be a rich person(dat 1%)
- Buildings must be connected via a road and have enough people to fill its jobs requirement to provide any benefit
