  1. 00:35 SilentBrony|GM We last left our group, as they had just finished off a group of hostile ponies on top of a ruined highway, granting mercy to one of the aggressors and allowing her to flee off into the wastes. Still on their mission to eradicate a nest of overgrown ants that threaten the nearby settlement of Grimpass. Will our intrepid adventurers succeed in their mission?

  8. 00:38 Dust_Off troops back down the ramp. She remembered seeing one of the thugs with a .32 revolver.

  11. 00:41 Sour_Grape follows after Dust_Off having nothing better to do, "We need to kill this fucking ants. I hate this city.
  12. 00:41 Roy_Calbeck finishes going over the bodies.
  13. 00:41 Dust_Off nods. "I'm with you kid." Dust Off reaches the bottom of the ramp and begins looking the bodies there.
  14. 00:42 Dust_Off "This thing isn't paying enough...and before you say it, yes you were right."
  15. 00:42 Smooth-Jazz is looking around. "...okay, NOW where the hell are we?"
  16. 00:42 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calbeck manages to find 6 .308 Rounds off the blue unicorn corpse, as well as 3 bottlecaps, and a pack of cigarettes.

  18. 00:43 Roy_Calbeck heads back down the ramp after the others.
  19. 00:43 Ammy hisses at her wounds decieding to walk it off
  20. 00:43 Sour_Grape /me "If folk would listen to me... well lets get green ta gets us the direction for the ant killing."
  21. 00:43 Smooth-Jazz is lost in thought
  22. 00:44 SilentBrony|GM Smooth-Jazz notes they are on top of the highway, near the debris wall where the yellow unicorn mare ran to the blue unicorn mare sniper. There is a junk door that is close on the debris wall, as well as the road that leads back down to the ramp behind him.
  23. 00:44 Dust_Off loots the bodies at the bottom of the ramp.
  24. 00:44 SilentBrony|GM Dust_Off and Sour_Grape are heading back to the bodies off of the ramp.
  25. 00:44 Smooth-Jazz "We're on a highway...so that means where I need to go is...." he looks around. "Uh..."
  26. 00:44 Roy_Calbeck catches up with Dusty and Sour at a trot.
  27. 00:45 Dust_Off looks back at Roy. "That was some good shooting, Mr. Calbeck."
  28. 00:45 Sour_Grape makes a face at the pony she killed and loots.
  29. 00:45 Roy_Calbeck nods back. "Thanks. Just lucky their own sniper wasn't that great."
  30. 00:46 Dust_Off nods. "He could have kept us pinned down in the open."
  31. 00:47 Ammy walks to the dead sniper and grins at the Scoped hunting rifle, she lifts it up "Anyone mind if I adopt this little guy?"
  32. 00:47 Roy_Calbeck (/me already got that last session, Ammy)
  33. 00:47 SilentBrony|GM Dust_Off loots the body of the orange mare, finding two bottlecaps, nine 10mm rounds, and One healing potion.

  35. 00:47 Dust_Off looks at the 10mm rounds. "Mister Jazz, how are you on ammunition?"
  36. 00:48 Smooth-Jazz checks his ammo.
  37. 00:48 Smooth-Jazz "I'm lookin at 47 beats, doll face"
  38. 00:48 SilentBrony|GM Sour_Grape finds the red stallion had a metal baseball bat that was in average condition, she also finds nine bottlecaps.
  39. 00:49 Dust_Off hands the nine rounds to Smooth-Jazz. "With that *ahem* 'gat' of yours you will need these."
  40. 00:49 Smooth-Jazz takes the rounds. "Thanks. You're one stand up cat, dig?"
  41. 00:49 Dust_Off smiles at Jazz. "Think I do dig, Mister Jazz."
  42. 00:50 Smooth-Jazz chuckles.
  43. 00:50 Sour_Grape looks at Smooth-Jazz, "You talk funneh"
  44. 00:50 Smooth-Jazz looks at the child. "That's cause I'm one cool cat, small fry."
  45. 00:51 SilentBrony|GM From the Yellow mare that survived, and taking only the items she didn't need essential in life, Dust_Off recieved, 9 Bottlecaps, as well as 5 10mm rounds.

  47. 00:52 Smooth-Jazz looks around once more. "I need to find the residential district..."
  48. 00:52 Roy_Calbeck gives Smooth a questioning look. "Why?"
  49. 00:52 Dust_Off digs into her pack. "Oh, Jazz, I just remembered. That yellow cur gave me these." She hooves over the last five 10mm rounds.
  50. 00:52 Sour_Grape "That where the ants be hidin'? I saw we go flushem' out for we get attacked again"
  51. 00:52 Ammy whiste's as he companions loot
  52. 00:53 Dust_Off meanders over to the dark yellow thug and begins looting that corpse.
  53. 00:54 Smooth-Jazz hums. "One smooth dude I did a gig with once told me that this city holds the hottest chill spot of the world before, filled to the brim with more music than you could shake a stick at, and its near the residential district. See where I'm going with this?"
  54. 00:55 Dust_Off ponders this as she searches the dark yellow stallion. "The music could be worth quite alot to the right parties...do you have contacts we could sell them to, Mister JAzz?"
  55. 00:56 Ammy nods "If we can find buyers for musical instruments anywhere"
  56. 00:56 Roy_Calbeck "...I got about half of that. And I don't wanna know what kinda cat wears pajamas."
  57. 00:56 Smooth-Jazz shakes his head. "Naw, doll. I intend to keep it all for myself. Selfish as it is, I live for the tunes. Dig?"
  58. 00:57 Dust_Off looks up at Jazz. "Then what is our incentive, sir?"
  59. 00:57 Roy_Calbeck rubs his chin. "Anyplace that well preserved's gotta have something else nearby worth something."
  60. 00:57 Sour_Grape "I'm not going into a dangerous city for music if their ain't no profit"
  61. 00:57 Ammy looks at Jazz "You could at least give a few to DJ-PON-3, sick to death of hearing Hush now 8 times a damn day"
  62. 00:57 Roy_Calbeck "I really doubt it's just one music store that's untouched in the area."
  63. 00:58 Smooth-Jazz shrugs, "If I can recuit you all, you get a cut. There's sure to be a whole lot of holotapes, more than I can carry. Y'all can sell what you get, but I intend to keep my cut to myself."

  65. 00:59 SilentBrony|GM Dust_Off manages to find a 10mm pistol on the dark yellow stallion's corpse, finding it in below-average condition as well as 12 10mm rounds and 8 more bottlecaps.
  66. 01:00 Smooth-Jazz turns to Roy_Calbeck, "in response to your previous question, only the coolest cats wear PJs."
  67. 01:00 Roy_Calbeck arches an eyebrow.
  68. 01:00 Dust_Off clears the pistol and examines it. "Interesting. Very interesting." She reloads it and puts in her bag."
  69. 01:00 Roy_Calbeck does so in a dubious fashion.
  70. 01:01 Smooth-Jazz "Hey, don't knock pyjamas. Their comfy as clouds. If I had a set, I'd wear them to bed for the rest of my natural life."

  72. 01:01 Roy_Calbeck "I know what pajamas are. I just don't wanna meet a feline that wears 'em."
  73. 01:02 Smooth-Jazz shakes his head and chuckles. "Then they weren't cool enough."
  74. 01:02 Sour_Grape "What good is stupid music?
  75. 01:02 Smooth-Jazz frowns. "Music keeps the feelings good, kid. Don't knock my art form."
  76. 01:03 SilentBrony|GM As the group is now at the bottom of the ramp, they note that they can continue down the road that leads to sturdier and larger looking ruined buildings, or head back up to the debris wall, where the junk door was on the highway. Or they could go back the way they came around the skyscrapper, heading out towards the exit of the city.
  77. 01:03 Roy_Calbeck shrugs and takes a minute to go over the below-average-condition hunting rifle he took off the blue unicorn, stripping parts out and replacing worn-out sections of his own rifle.
  78. 01:03 Dust_Off gets up from the corpse and looks around. She takes out her canteen and gets a sip of water.
  79. 01:04 Sour_Grape makes a face, "We kill the ants. Then we find the stupid music."
  80. 01:04 Smooth-Jazz thinks. "Fair enough."
  81. 01:04 Ammy catches up to Roy "Mind if I flogg that Scope off you?"
  82. 01:05 Dust_Off "Soo...where do we go?"
  83. 01:05 Roy_Calbeck looks up to Ammy. "You kiddin'? I need this thing."
  84. 01:05 Ammy waves her head "Fiiiiiiinnnnneee"
  85. 01:05 Roy_Calbeck shrugs and tries to finish up before the group heads out.
  86. 01:06 Sour_Grape "Which way?
  87. 01:06 Smooth-Jazz shrugs.
  88. 01:07 Roy_Calbeck "Well, I doubt the ants're past that junk gate. That'll be where the raiders came from in the first place"
  89. 01:08 Roy_Calbeck gives up on trying to improve his already-decent rifle, aside from double-checking the swapped upgrades, and puts the lesser weapon in his saddlebag.
  90. 01:08 Dust_Off nods. "That does makes sense...so further down the road to those larger buildings?"
  91. 01:09 Ammy "Sounds good, even if that isn't the right way we can at least use the buildings as a vantage point"
  92. 01:09 Roy_Calbeck "S'pose so."
  93. 01:09 Dust_Off smiles at the zebra. "That's a good point."
  94. 01:09 Sour_Grape "All the way up there?"
  95. 01:10 Roy_Calbeck thinks about it for a minute, then turns to Ammy. "Can't spare the scope --- but you want the rifle it came off of, for parts?"
  96. 01:10 Ammy nods "Might as well"
  97. 01:10 Roy_Calbeck levitates the rifle over to Ammy. It's not in terrible condition, but it's not great either.
  98. 01:11 Roy_Calbeck speaks up. "Also got a .32 junker pistol for anypony if they need parts."
  99. 01:11 Ammy "If it hits night fall we can rest in the skyrise's, safest place to take shelter is the penthouse of a tall building, doubt we would need to rest yet"
  100. 01:12 Dust_Off perks up. "Oh? I could use that, Mister Calbeck."
  101. 01:12 SilentBrony|GM The group notes as ammy speaks about Time, that it is indeed getting darker and darker, The sun is starting to set, reducing visibility noticibaly.
  102. 01:12 Roy_Calbeck lifts the grungy-looking .32 out of his saddlebag and floats it over to Dusty. "There ya go. Did somepony say they needed ten-mil ammo?"
  103. 01:13 Dust_Off takes the .32 revolver. "Give it to Mister Jazz."
  104. 01:13 Sour_Grape "We should head to them stupid buildings then and find shelter for tha night."
  105. 01:13 Ammy slings the rifle intending to salvage what she can later
  106. 01:13 Roy_Calbeck nods. Ten 10mm rounds make their way over to the jazz player.
  107. 01:14 Dust_Off nods. "Let's get going." Dust Off starts going towards the large buildings.
  108. 01:14 Sour_Grape follows after Dust_Off supressing a yawn
  109. 01:14 Smooth-Jazz takes them. "Thanks."
  110. 01:14 Roy_Calbeck follows Dusty.
  111. 01:15 Ammy "What I would give to see this city in its prime just once"
  112. 01:15 Roy_Calbeck looks over his shoulder at the swiftly-advancing darkness. "We'd better make some tracks, here..."
  113. 01:16 Dust_Off sighs. "Yes...it would have been nice. Solid ground. Ponies everywhere...not shooting at us."
  114. 01:16 Ammy "What a beutiful world we destroyed" she chuckles
  115. 01:17 Sour_Grape flaps her wings, "I ain't destroyed nothin'
  116. 01:18 Smooth-Jazz rummages through his saddlebag and produces a post card of the city before the bombs. Namely the music store. "Take a look then, doll." he says to Ammy.
  117. 01:18 SilentBrony|GM As the group follows the road that leads under the destroyed highway, they round a bend the curves to the left, and begin to go up a very slight incline up the road. The group notes that it is almost completely nightfall, as they are now in the middle of the road, seeing it go straight then suddenly cut to right, past more bigger buildings. Most of the structures have crumpled walls with large lots, some even with overturned and obl

  119. 01:19 Dust_Off curiously looks to see what sort of buildings they used to be.
  120. 01:20 Smooth-Jazz yawns.
  121. 01:20 Sour_Grape yawns loudly and stumbles over a rock
  122. 01:21 SilentBrony|GM Dust_Off cannot distinguish exactly what type of buildings the ancient ground walking ponies of past would've used here.
  123. 01:21 Ammy smiles at the card before giving it back "One day we'll build cities like that again"
  124. 01:21 Roy_Calbeck "Let's find a hole-up for the evening."
  125. 01:22 Roy_Calbeck scans the buildings to the left for a prospect.
  126. 01:22 Dust_Off assumes that these buildings must be for ceremonial purposes.
  127. 01:22 Smooth-Jazz chuckles. "Not in our lifetime."
  128. 01:22 Sour_Grape mumbles something about sleep
  129. 01:22 Ammy "Top floor, less likely to get eaten by something higher up we get, then again we have to worry about the floor falling from beneath us"
  130. 01:23 Roy_Calbeck "Latter's less a concern than the other."
  131. 01:23 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calbeck scans the structures on the left side of the road, noting that there was 2 with giant broken walls and large gates that once acted as lot entrances. The buildings past the walls have collapsed and blown in roofs.
  132. 01:23 Roy_Calbeck "Nothin' over there."
  133. 01:23 Roy_Calbeck looks right.
  134. 01:23 Dust_Off looks at the buildings on the right side of the road.
  135. 01:26 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calback scans the buildings on the opposite side and notes that there are three buildings, two of which are similar in shape and design to the ones on the left. Only one of the buildings has a collapsed roof beyond the lot wall, the walls are also similar in broken design, opened and leading towards the lots.
  136. 01:27 SilentBrony|GM The third building on the right, just before the road juts to the right, is a skinner building that is only about three stories tall, but looks better intact than the other structures around, having double doors as it's entrance.
  137. 01:27 Roy_Calbeck "Looks like we've got an option over there."
  138. 01:27 Sour_Grape stumbles and falls on her face, "ack!" before quickly scrambling back to her feet
  139. 01:28 Dust_Off walks over to Sour_Grape. "You okay, Grape?"
  140. 01:28 Roy_Calbeck points a hoof at the three-story.
  141. 01:28 SilentBrony|GM Both Ammy and Smooth-jazz, closest to the buildings to the left, can hear the familiar chittering and skittering of something from beyond the broken walls of the lots.
  142. 01:28 Sour_Grape nod nods. "Fine. Got attacked by a rock."
  143. 01:28 Smooth-Jazz pulls out his smg. "We got buggers..."
  144. 01:29 Dust_Off smiles and then looks to Jazz. "We don't want to fight them in the dark."
  145. 01:29 Smooth-Jazz "Suggestions?"
  146. 01:29 Ammy "I Suggest getting to the roof of a building or at least higher up than draw em out"
  147. 01:29 Dust_Off "Take cover for the night? We still need to clear the building."
  148. 01:30 Roy_Calbeck heads for the double-doors of the three-story.
  149. 01:30 SilentBrony|GM Both Smooth-Jazz and Ammy note that the sounds are definitely getting much closer, almost sounding like they are just beyond the ruined walls, that have several crumpled gaps. The other members of the party can now hear the noises as well.
  150. 01:30 Dust_Off draws her pistol and follows behind Roy.
  151. 01:30 Roy_Calbeck "C'mon, guys, move!"
  152. 01:31 Sour_Grape follows quickly after Roy_Calbeck.
  153. 01:31 Smooth-Jazz follows.
  154. 01:32 Ammy unslings her rifle and prepares for battle, whilst following the group.
  155. 01:32 Sour_Grape readies her shotgun in her mouth, "We needa hurry."
  156. 01:34 Roy_Calbeck has no time for finesse. He tries the door. Because he is dumb that way.
  157. 01:34 SilentBrony|GM The group rushes towards the three story building, and rush up to the double doors, As Roy_Calbeck rushes up to the door to open, it doesn't give way, instead it remains firmly in place.

  159. 01:35 Sour_Grape pushes past Roy_Calbeck and tries to shotgun the hinges off the door
  160. 01:35 Dust_Off turns around to watch their back trail.

  163. 01:37 Roy_Calbeck winces at the twin blasts of buckshot, pinning his ears back.
  164. 01:37 Ammy guards the back with Dust
  165. 01:37 SilentBrony|GM As the little filly rushes up to the double doors, she blasts at what she assumes is the hinges on the right door, blowing large holes into it, but not causing it to budge as it shudders from the force.
  166. 01:38 Sour_Grape kicks at the door, "Dumb door!"
  167. 01:38 SilentBrony|GM As she kicks the door, it shudders but doesn't budge again. Now the group turn and can see the faint features of over-grown insects marching their way towards their position.
  168. 01:39 Dust_Off looks over her shoulder. "Roy, kick it down!"
  169. 01:39 Roy_Calbeck spins and kicks the door.
  170. 01:40 Ammy turns around "Give me a turn" She charges a shoulder ram at the door
  171. 01:40 Dust_Off "We need no reminder, Mister Jazz!"
  172. 01:41 SilentBrony|GM Roy gives a mighty buck to the already shot door, knocking it off it's hinges and splintering the wood, inside reveals to be a small reception area with a small table, an item on it, as well a door on each side. Straight ahead is a staircase that leads up to the second story next to the reception desk. The desk has a terminal resting.
  173. 01:41 Smooth-Jazz is humming the tune, looking down the sights of his SMG.
  174. 01:47 Dust_Off turns and gallops into the room. "Help me with the door." She waits for everyone to get in and then readies to lift the door back into place.

  176. 01:47 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calbeck goes with Ammy. That door isn't likely to go back on again.
  177. 01:47 SilentBrony|GM SilentBrony|GM> Sour_Grape rushes in over the bucked down door, she notes it is an ashtray, with nothing but dust and ash in it. Now as the rest of the group enter, Dust_Off and Smooth-Jazz put the damaged door back up, only to see it fall over towards the outside

  180. 01:45 Ammy rushes up the stairs before reaching the top floor
  181. 01:47 Roy_Calbeck follows Ammy.
  182. 01:47 Smooth-Jazz wheezes after reaching the top. "Anyone...see...anything to...phew...barricade the stairs?"
  183. 01:47 Sour_Grape "Lets use green!"
  184. 01:48 Roy_Calbeck gives Sour an even more sour look.
  185. 01:48 Dust_Off runs up after the group
  186. 01:48 Ammy enters the top floor and looks for ways to barricade the stairwell
  187. 01:48 Sour_Grape beat. "That was a joke!'
  188. 01:49 Smooth-Jazz coughs and tries to straighten out.
  189. 01:49 SilentBrony|GM The group rushes up one flight of stairs, and notice that they can continue on to the third floor. This floor is a small hallway that has two more doors on each side. At the end of the hallway is a skeleton of a unicorn, in tattered and age-decayed clothing.
  190. 01:49 Roy_Calbeck examines the corpse.
  191. 01:49 SilentBrony|GM They can hear the chittering is entering the building, getting louder and louder.
  192. 01:50 Roy_Calbeck does not, however, conduct more than a cursory examination. Mainly because he needs a hat.
  193. 01:50 Sour_Grape charges up to the third floor
  194. 1:50 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calbeck rushes to the skeleton and sees it has an ancient brass key as well as a id badge that is no longer legible.

  196. 01:51 Dust_Off runs up REALLY fast
  197. 01:51 Ammy continues to the last floor
  198. 01:52 Dust_Off "We need to barricade or face them on the stairs, bottle them up!"
  199. 01:52 Roy_Calbeck gallops up after the group. "Found a key!"
  200. 01:53 Ammy looks at the only pony with an auto weapon "Jazz how much do you have for your SMG?'
  201. 01:54 Smooth-Jazz looks. "I got 17 beats in the old drumset, and 66 total."
  202. 01:55 Dust_Off holsters her revolver and gets the 10mm pistol out of her bags. She check its load. Twelve rounds before reloading would be preferable.
  203. 01:55 Ammy looks to Dust "Up to you, we do have enough fire power, and we do have them in a bottleneck"

  205. 01:55 Sour_Grape yawns, "So much for a good nights rest..."
  206. 01:56 Dust_Off nods. "Let's face them at the top of the stairs. We can have clear shots and keep their numbers down."
  207. 01:56 SilentBrony|GM Roy_Calbeck speeds off like a demon, down the hall and following up the stairs after the group, he notes that one of the Ants is beginning to crawl up from the first floor, he's that damn quick! The Group is now at the top floor. It looks almost the same as the second floor, with a door on each side.
  208. 01:57 Roy_Calbeck "Got a key, also got an ant comin' up!"
  209. 01:57 Ammy yells "Okay everyone line up and when they are atleast up to the corner just let them have it, we have highground and a bottle neck, thats a huge advantage"
  210. 01:58 Dust_Off "Got you, Roy! Get up here!"
  211. 01:58 Sour_Grape looks around and jumps on Dust_Off's back and then on her head, "Got a clearer shot from up here."
  212. 01:58 Smooth-Jazz wipes his sunglasses off on his suit before putting them back on. "Lets do this with style, kiddies."
  213. 01:58 Dust_Off looks up at the filly's hooves. "Alright then..."
  214. 01:59 Dust_Off readies her pistol, taking a front on spot to the stairs to get Grape the best pattern for her shot gun.
  215. 01:59 Roy_Calbeck tries his key in a door just past the group, if he has a chance
  216. 02:00 Ammy "Anyone have anything like wine or whisky on them, Dust, medical alcohol or something?"
  217. 02:01 Dust_Off "Sadly, no!"
  218. 02:03 Dust_Off realizes a problem. "Grape! off my head! I can't neck roll with you there!"
  219. 02:04 SilentBrony|GM The ants begin their accent up the stairs to give chance to their intrusive prey. Mindlessly determined to destroy their intruders as they are now at the second floor.
  220. 02:07 Dust_Off moves forwards to wait at the top of the final flight of the stairs with her shotgun filly hat so she can get a shot at them when they come into view.
  221. 02:08 Smooth-Jazz whistles a quiet tune to himself.
  222. 02:08 Dust_Off takes aim and fires two aimed shots from her 10mm pistol.
  223. 02:10 Ammy loads the most disrepaired bullet she has into her second rifle and calls to Dust "Let me look at that gland you got from the ant I want to try something"
  224. 02:13 SilentBrony|GM As Dust_Off aims carefully, she fires off two rounds from her 10mm pistol, connecting the first shot in the bulbous head of the lead ant, causing massive damage as it lets loose a deafening SKREE! in pain.

Gritting her teeth in frustration, she loops the shotgun back and manages to blast the side of the wounded ant, causing it to shudder and fall down lifeless.

Unloading one round, the Ant recoils and backs up somewhat in a shudder. Sour_Grape takes another shot, and blows the creature's body wide open in a dramatic display of gore and ichor. As her smoke drifts from her barrels like wisps.

  376. 05:20 Sour_Grape watches as the final ant dies, "KIlled em..." she says slowly her head begining to droop and the shotgun falling from her mouth. "Killed'em all..." She slumps forward onto her shotgun and curls around it before falling asleep.

The hallway has an open sliding door that is off it's rollers on the left, various boxes lay on the floor and several age-decayed and oxidized pre-war clothes hang on hangers About six different outfits.

Toaster, ruined books, ruined holotapes, molded and rotted pre-war clothing that probably was once fancy. The only thing really of value is a Magi-Pistol! It's condition is not great, but it's still something.

There is a small plain dresser in the corner of the room, and a large queen sized bed in the middle. A large window, blown out with no covers, can over look the street from it's vantage.
