  1. Showderp - Skippable Shitmons and Constituents List v.1.0
  2.
  3. Changelog:
  4.
  5. v.1.0
  6. Initial version.
  7.
  8. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9.
  10. Due to the immense amount of drama occurring in Showderp over specs weedle and the like, I have compiled a list of rules defining shitmons that popular opinion believes should be skip-able by the champ.
  11.
  12. What is a shitmon?
  13. In Showderp, a shitmon is considered to be a pokemon (or set) whose only intention for being suggested is to hinder/troll the Champ. Over time, many have grown restless about this and have wanted Champ to be able to skip over shitmons, however there hasn't been a straight definition of a shitmon as of yet, leading to many using a slippery slope argument or slipping on the slope themselves. The purpose of the following rules is to define, in a way that most people (except the shitmon suggesters) can agree on, what exactly constitutes a shitmon, and thus what can be skipped if the Champ decides to.
  14.
  15. A suggestion is considered a shitmon if it meets any of the following conditions:
  16. 1. It has a BST that is less than 300 AND a total movepool that consists of 10 moves or less that does NOT include Endeavor and a priority attack move.
  17. 2. It is holding an item that could be detrimental to the user and does not have a move or an ability to utilize it effectively (e.g. Completely supportive set with Assault Vest, Black Sludge Non-Trick Shedinja, Toxic Orb Non-Poison Heal Gliscor).
  18. i. This means that the pokemon should be, at the very least be able to battle without dieing or struggling on the first turn. Assvest Blissey is legal for the moment.
  19. 3. It has a moveset that prevents it from doing any damage, status, or otherwise to the opposing pokemon, such as protect-only sets or harden Metapod, as well as preventing it from supporting anything but itself. This does not ban mons such as reflect/light-screen/aromatherapy/synthesis Meganium, or boost-only baton passers, however, at least one attacking move is recommended in any case.
  20. 4. And for good measure, Smogon acknowledges it is as something you should never be running for any reason in any tiered metagame ever. See: Magikarp, Weedle, etc.
  21.
  22. If a pokemon or set is considered a shitmon, the Champ has an option to skip over them and take the next most recent suggestion in the thread. While not required, champ is welcome to use shitmons at their own peril. If they do use shitmons, they are entirely at the mercy of spectators as they chose to use them when they didn't have to.
  23.
  24. List of Skip-able Shitmons (COMING SOON):

  28. Please suggest revisions to these rules in the latest Showderp thread on /vp/.
