FoE PNP Group Unlucky 13 Session 4

[18:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Death. Everypony has to face it sooner or later.
[18:32] * The_Batmare thinks that is a terrible sign
[18:32] <TenMihara|GM>  In the wasteland, nopony really bats an eye at death. It's omnipresent.
[18:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Whether that's the result of current events, or just looking around at the world in which they reside
[18:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Sometimes a death can have meaning, but most of the time those that die are just the wasteland's latest victims.
[18:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Hoofington is notoriously good at killing people, and yet still they come there.
[18:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Because, on occasion, somepony gets lucky.
[18:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Will our group of wastelanders be among the lucky ones? I guess we'll find out...
[18:35] <TenMihara|GM>  *****Session Begins*****
[18:35] <Boulder> "Oh, well this is lovely."
[18:36] * Purple_Kay prepares to arc back into sight of the single turrent he dinged before.
[18:36] <TenMihara|GM>  We resume the day as our group of wastelander attempt to navigate a pre-war robotics facility that, even before the war, had been shut down and become a death trap.
[18:40] * The_Batmare holds all her Ap to kick a robot if it tries to come through the factory door
[18:41] * Jake_Juice just kinda... stays where he is. Next to The_Batmare
[18:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay managed to hit one of turrets in the room beyond, but wasn't able to completely take it out of commission, leaving all four now trained for any movement at the door.
[18:46] * Razor is still feeling very edgy and aggressive. She wants to start smashing some machinery, but she's not /completely/ dense (Only just a little bit). She /does/ however start scratching at the ground with one of her forehooves while she waits, muttering quietly, "Come on... hurry up..."
[18:48] * Purple_Kay "Patience Kid. You'll get your chance. I'll pick off the ones in the far corners, then we'll have to rush the other two."
[18:53] * Jake_Juice decides to peek around the corner and take an aimed shot at one of the turrets lens, trying to frenzy it, then ducks back behind the corner.
[18:53] * Razor nods at PK. She scratches harder at the ground.
[18:55] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice makes a valliant attempt, but doesn't manage to hit such a small target
[18:56] * Purple_Kay arcs himself around to take a shot at the undamaged turret in the other far corner. He holds his breath as he meticulously squeezes the control yoke. He sends a twinshot downrange aimed at the small reflective lense.
[18:59] * Purple_Kay sidesteps back out of the turrets line of sight, satisfied.
[18:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's shots do some serious damage to the undamaged far corner turret, scrapping its targeting sensor and sending it into a frenzy
[19:01] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush keeps to the shoot and hide tactics and steps briefly into the doorway, taking a shot at the unfrenzied turret.
[19:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush manages to put down the unfrenzied far corner turret.
[19:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The frenzied turret, meanwhile, descides to shoot at its compatriots, resulting in one of them shooting back.
[19:04] <TenMihara|GM>  The Frenzied turret is slagged out of it's ceiling socket by the return fire, but not before landign a couple shots of its own burst.
[19:05] * Purple_Kay grins as he listens to the turrents trade shots. "Hear that kid? That's the sound of a plan coming together." While his mutilated face usually makes his emotions hard to read, the one plastered across it now is easy to tell. Smugness.
[19:05] <TenMihara|GM>  The final turret stays trained on the door.
[19:06] * The_Batmare holds her AP to watch the door until she can make a move, she was useless at long ranged combat
[19:07] * Boulder draws his combat knife, and holds the rest of his AP too.
[19:11] * Razor grins wide. "Then let's fucking go!" She goes right into the room, and heads for the turret that's pointed at the door. It's a little high, but she jumps and swings at it with her weapon wielded in her telekinesis.
[19:14] <TenMihara|GM>  The turret opens fire on Razor as soon as she's in range. One of the shots misses, one of them actually hits the turret in the opposite corner that was already damaged, but two actually managed to land on the mare
[19:19] <TenMihara|GM>  The damage turret is slagged by inadvertant friendly fire, Razor takes a hit to the chest and another to one of her hind legs. However, her telekinetic weapon strikes manage to sever the turret from the roof, where it falls to the floor with a crash.
[19:20] * Razor shouts, "Ha! Take that!"
[19:23] * Purple_Kay trots cautiously forward. "Good job, Kid." He canters up beside her and starts scrounging the fallen turret. "See if you can't knock down the other ones too."

[19:25] * Boulder trots into the room behind Kay, gazing around. "Nicely done indeed."
[19:26] * Razor will gladly try. She still has some aggression to work out. She goes to try and see if she can hack the other turrets down.
[19:27] * The_Batmare looks into the room, "We done here?"
[19:28] * Jake_Juice trots into the room "Looks like it... done with these turrets at least."
[19:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor can bring the other turrets down, but the electronics of each is fried, and the fenzied turret is completely destroyed. Purple_Kay is able to salvage a total of 3 Scrap Metal and one Scrap Electronics
[19:28] * The_Batmare looks over at Purple_Kay, "Have you found the items you were searching for?"
[19:29] * Purple_Kay "Hey, Buddy. You and Bats wanna toss this place while I finish pulling parts out of these? We're still short electronics. We also need a pair of spark batteries, a wrench, and some duct tape."
[19:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The office room also contains six desks and two sets of filing cabinets
[19:30] * The_Batmare nods and goes to open the desks, "Duct Tape and a Wrench should be able to be purchased at a store, no?"
[19:31] * Purple_Kay talks from within one of the damaged turrets, "Yeah. Couple caps a piece I reckon, but free is better."
[19:32] <TenMihara|GM>  The desks contain a total of 20 Bottle Caps, as well as various financial and company records, a few pencils and a couple of clipboards.
[19:32] * Razor thoroughly enjoyed knocking those turrets off the ceiling. She returns the handle of her machete to her mouth while she waits. Eventually she wanders over to the doorway, and looks out at the other side, where the room with the robots was.
[19:32] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah, let's get this over with already." he begins searching the room along with The_Batmare.
[19:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The door is closed, but occasionally one of the robots will walk by the window
[19:33] * The_Batmare takes the caps but nothing else
[19:33] * Boulder wanders over to Razor.
[19:34] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. "No batteries, huh? Damn. We'll have to clear the floor. Those things are hard to come by."
[19:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The filing cabinets, in addition to various other files and pre-war information, contain 6 more bottle caps.
[19:34] * Jake_Juice grumbles as he can't seem to find anything useful, but takes the caps.
[19:34] * Radio_AFK is now known as Radiohooves
[19:34] * Radiohooves is now known as Missile_Rush
[19:35] <Boulder> "Nice job on those turrets kid."
[19:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Each of the employee desks contains its own terminal as well
[19:35] * Missile_Rush trots to one of said terminals and attempts a logon.
[19:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Of the six terminals, four are locked, and two are unlocked. The two that are unlocked seem to contain the same information, which is presently limited to a notice about the factory being shut down and the dismissal or transfer of various employees.
[19:36] * Purple_Kay finishes with the turrents and looks over Rush's shoulder. If Rush can't get something useful out of them, he figures he can.
[19:38] * Razor turns to Boulder. Is he talking to her? She has no idea. "Who the fuck are you, anyway?"
[19:38] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow and attempts to hack his way in.
[19:40] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush manages to open up one of the locked terminals, only to find the exact same information that were on the unlocked ones
[19:40] * Missile_Rush silently moves on to one of the other locked terminals and tries his hoof there.
[19:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Once again, opening the terminal only reveals t he same information
[19:41] * Purple_Kay "So, Rush, you done with this one? Cause I need scrap electronics."
[19:41] * Missile_Rush gives no indication as to whether he is chagrined or disappointed. He simply nods to Purple_Kay before he tries a third terminal.
[19:42] * The_Batmare looks around for another door so they don't have to go to the factory
[19:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Once again, same info, different terminal
[19:42] * Missile_Rush tries the last one.
[19:42] <TenMihara|GM>  In the office room there is a double door that leads to a stairwell which would take them to the upper level
[19:43] * The_Batmare calls out, "So, we're going to try upstairs right?"
[19:43] <TenMihara|GM>  In this last terminal, Missile manages to stumble accross something that wasn't on the others. A personal message from one of the employees here to another.
[19:43] * Boulder nods to Razor. "Name's Boulder. Decided to tag along a little while ago."
[19:44] * Missile_Rush opens the message. In spite of himself, he finds that he is curious about what the note says.
[19:44] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "Sure. And hope that there isn't as many robots up there."
[19:44] * Purple_Kay reaches back to bash into the terminal and pauses. This is a job for the Kid. "Hey, Kid! Smashy time."
[19:44] * The_Batmare "it cannot be worse then the factory."
[19:45] * Missile_Rush holds up a hoof. "Hold on a moment." He is still reading the note.
[19:45] * Jake_Juice shrugs "We can hope."
[19:45] * Boulder looks over at The-Batemare. "On the contrary, I'm fairly certain it can."
[19:46] <TenMihara|GM>  'To Coral: Lousy corporate bigwigs trying to screw us over. I bet they made up the whole thing about faulty programming just to shut down this factory and write it off so they could set up a new place in the core. Well, I plan on having the last laugh. Once they close this place down, I'm gonna get back in and raid Gearshift's office safe. He always keeps his key under the potted plant'
[19:46] * Razor doesn't really give Boulder another thought. She grins when she hears the magic words. "Smashy time? I love smashy time!" She heads over to PK.
[19:46] * The_Batmare looks over at Boulder, "You are a shining light og optimisim, citizen."

[19:47] * Boulder shrugs. "Indeed I am."

[19:48] * Purple_Kay points out the terminals Rush has already fiddle with. "Crack them... actually, hold on." He crawls under the desk to see if he can sever the power before she gets to smashing."

[19:48] <TenMihara|GM>  There is a power strip into which all of the terminals are plugged
[19:50] * Purple_Kay traces the cord of the terminal above him, making sure he won't unplug the one Rush is still fiddling with. He starts unplugging the ones Rush has greenlit for breaking.
[19:50] <TenMihara|GM>  The cords are a bit stubborn because of their age, but can eventually be pried loose
[19:51] * Missile_Rush takes a good long look at the note and makes a mental note. He sits up, turning to Purple_Kay. "The terminal's all yours." He begins to trot away, searching for this office. He speaks aloud to everypony else. "Refresh my memory. What are we looking for?"
[19:51] * Purple_Kay "Alright, Kid, if a screen goes dark, it's unplugged and ya can break into it."
[19:52] * Missile_Rush "Forgive me if I find the word 'kid' demeaning."
[19:53] * Purple_Kay "I'm not talking to you, Rush. I'm talking to the Kid. Anyway. Spark batteries are the main thing. And tools."
[19:53] * Missile_Rush nods. "Fair enough." He trots away in search of this office.
[19:53] * Purple_Kay he continues to work at the plugs. "I'm hoping to get enough scrap electronics from these."
[19:54] <TenMihara|GM>  There are no other offices on the first floor, only the entrance hall and the factory floor
[19:55] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "We going to head upstairs?"
[19:55] * Razor waits until screens go dark, then starts smashing!
[19:55] * Purple_Kay stops fiddling with the plugs. Rush is done... He turns off the power strip and crawls out from the desk.
[19:56] <TenMihara|GM>  Although she hurts herself a bit on the broken glass of the screens, Razor is this time spared the shocks of her first terminal smashing. Each terminal yields one Scrap Electronics
[19:56] * Missile_Rush makes sure that his weapon is loaded, with a round chambered, as he silently walks on upstairs. Hmph...secret safe, huh? Well, then, time to find this secret, then.
[19:57] * The_Batmare stops Missile_Rush before he walks upstairs, "Wait! Are you stupid? This place is loaded with robots, wait for the others."
[19:58] * Purple_Kay finishes scrounging through the terminals. "Good to go here. Just batteries and tools now."
[19:58] * Missile_Rush glances behind him to look at The_Batmare. He nods and waits at the base of the stairs.
[19:58] * Razor is grinning. She's starting to have a little fun!
[19:58] * Jake_Juice nods, then looks at PK and Razor "You two ready to head upstairs? Pretty sure everyone else is done here."
[19:59] * Purple_Kay nods. "Lead the way, Bats. Stealth is your forte."
[20:00] * The_Batmare nods ans slinks up the stairs carefully checking for robots or turrets
[20:00] * Missile_Rush has been waiting silently. He turns and begins to trot on behind The_Batmare.
[20:00] * Razor doesn't answer. She just goes! She was born ready!
[20:00] * Boulder follows after Missile_Rush
[20:01] * Jake_Juice heads up behind The_Batmare.
[20:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare attempts to sneak up the stairs, only to trip on the last step and slam into the metal wall on the opposite side, sending a resounding echo down the metal hall that comprised part of the factory's upper layer
[20:04] * Razor can't help but laugh at that. "Nice one, freakshow!"
[20:04] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow, clearly displeased. He refrains from commenting.
[20:05] * Jake_Juice helps The_Batmare back up "You okay?"
[20:05] * The_Batmare rubs her head, "New plan, razor goes first."
[20:05] <TenMihara|GM>  At the sound of the noise, the hallways is again filled with the sounds of a klaxxon, and three more turrets pop down form the ceiling, in a line down the middle of the hall.
[20:06] <Boulder> "Well shit."
[20:06] <TenMihara|GM>  The alarm sounds again; "Intruders are kindly asked to stay put this time, and allow themselves to be apprehended by our automated security turrets.
[20:06] <TenMihara|GM>  "
[20:06] * Purple_Kay crouches down, hoping to use the elevation change of the stairs for cover, he throws a leg around Razor to bring her down as well.
[20:07] * The_Batmare backs down the stairs because fuck that
[20:07] * Jake_Juice also backs the fuck off back down the stairs after helping The_Batmare up.
[20:07] * Missile_Rush backs off as well, bracing himself.
[20:08] * Razor is dragged to the ground. "Hey! What's the big idea!"
[20:08] * Boulder more-or-less stumbled backward with the rest of the group.
[20:09] * Purple_Kay keeps a hoof on her back. He whispers in a low growl, "This job will get us out of debt to the Doc, I'd rather not have more bills when we get back... again."
[20:10] * The_Batmare backs up down the stairs and holds the rest of her AP
[20:12] * Razor gives a slight squirm. "You don't have to jump on me!"
[20:12] * Jake_Juice peeks his head up and fires off three shots at the closest turret, then ducks back down quickly.
[20:13] * Purple_Kay removes his leg. "That was hardly a jump."
[20:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice's gun backfires on the first shot, showering him with bits of smouldering gunpowder
[20:15] * Jake_Juice coughs a bit as his gn backfires, "Ugh, fuck!" then keeps his head down out of LOS of the turrets.
[20:16] * Purple_Kay 's ears flatten instinctively at the wrong sounding boom. "Dammit! Don't any of you ponies know how to properly maintain a weapon?"
[20:16] * Missile_Rush 's ears flatten as well, as he snarls in frustration at the group's poor luck.
[20:16] * Jake_Juice grumbles "My weapon was prefectly fine before now..."
[20:17] * The_Batmare is stoic and patient
[20:22] * Razor pulls back away from PK, standing back on the stairs, more than a little agitated. She looks around for the danger, and casts her spell to make her weapon sharper, in preparation for her assault!
[20:22] <TenMihara|GM>  The danger is coming from a trio of turrets that cover the hallway, but don't have line of fire on the stairwell
[20:23] * Missile_Rush makes two well-aimed shots, each one aimed at a turret, as he chambers a new round and ducks for cover.
[20:24] <TenMihara|GM>  The middle turret takes a solid hit from Missile_Rush's second shot
[20:24] * Missile_Rush is still under cover, in no mood to celebrate this small victory.
[20:25] <TenMihara|GM>  In his brief step into the hallway proper, Missile_Rush was able to spot two offices on the left side of the small hall, and a door at the end that led to the scaffolding over the factory floor.
[20:26] * Missile_Rush remembers to check those offices as soon as this is over.
[20:26] <TenMihara|GM>  A voice reaches the party, echoing down the hallway, this one metallic and posessing a militant authority; "Intruders will not be tolerated, time to smoke out the scumbags!"
[20:27] * The_Batmare "This is going well."
[20:27] * Missile_Rush mutters under his breath. "'Smoke out the scumbags'? How trite."
[20:27] * Jake_Juice grunts "Great..."
[20:28] * Razor growls out, "Bring it, scrapheap!"
[20:28] <Boulder> "It's maggots, not scumbags..."
[20:28] <TenMihara|GM>  As the voice reaches the party, a hovering, sphereical robot appears at the top of the stairwell, adorned with six apendages and 3 optical sensors on top. Three of the arms end in three-pronged pincers, but the others contain a buzzsaw, a flamethrower, and a glowing, horn shaped weapon
[20:28] <TenMihara|GM>  The robot turns the flamethrower towards the party and fills the upper stairwell with gouts of flame
[20:29] * Jake_Juice 's eyes go wide and he stumbles back down the stairs "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!"
[20:29] * Missile_Rush immediately backs down the stairs as well.
[20:30] * The_Batmare uses her Held AP to Teleport downstairs
[20:32] <Boulder> "Hothothothot!"
[20:32] * The_Batmare waits at the bottom of the stairs, "I propose we leave this insane place."
[20:33] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare's reflexes are quick enough to teleport her out of the line of fire, but the rest of the party is seared by a gout of flame. The five remaining party members are seared, and Missile_Rush, Jake_Juice and Purple_Kay all find themselves now on fire
[20:33] * The_Batmare goes to put Jake_Juice, Purple_Kay and Missile_Rush out. In that order
[20:34] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor is nimble enough to snuff the fire before it properly catches her, and Boulder just gets lucky
[20:34] * Purple_Kay thrashes about as the familiar pain claws at his scarred hide.
[20:35] * Missile_Rush grits his teeth and stifles a scream as he somehow knows to stay put and wait for the_Batmare to try and put them out.
[20:35] * Razor is pretty scorched though. She's starting to feel the pain!
[20:36] * Jake_Juice yells in pain and runs down the stairs, putting himself out with the help of The_Batmare as he pants "Thanks..."
[20:38] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare is able to put out Jake_Juice, but isn't quite fast enough to reach the others yet
[20:40] * The_Batmare is also still at the bottom of the stairs, not the top, "I do not think this place is worth the effort or dying, I suggest a retreat."
[20:40] * Jake_Juice pants somewhat heavily "Yeah... that would... probably be the smart thing to do..."
[20:40] * Boulder growls, and finding himself not engulfed in flames, lumbers forward towards the robot with a muffled cry of "MAGGOTS!" He stabs said robot 4 times with his knife.
[20:40] * Missile_Rush continues to bite his lip as he looks around for anything that might be able to put out the flames.
[20:41] * Grim (~3286ab66@Pony-66buhr.co.comcast.net) has joined #FalloutEquestriaPNP3
[20:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Boulder's impressive strength punches through the hoverbot's chasis, although it isn't enough to down the robot yet.
[20:46] * Jake_Juice begins to cough rapidly, leaning against a nearby wall "Ugh..." it's obvious that he isn't in good health.
[20:47] * Purple_Kay rocks on his hooves as the sticky flames continue to wick up his neck. His eyes are glazed and wild. Wreathed in flames he starts screaming barely coherent sentences. He obviously isn't 'here' anymore. "STAY AWAY FROM THEM YOU RAIDER BASTARDS!" He takes up his battle saddles yoke and fires twice at the enemy.
[20:49] * Missile_Rush , in spite of the burning, manages to look at Purple_Kay with surprise.
[20:50] * Jake_Juice is to busy coughing and hacking next to The_Batmare to notice anything going on upstairs at the moment.
[20:51] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay once again shows his combat aptitude, in spite of losing his usual cool head, and puts four fresh holes in the Hovering Spiderbot, which sparks and looks to be listing slightly to the left
[20:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The turrets have nothing to fire at anymore, and do nothing
[20:58] * The_Batmare puts a hoof on Jake_Juice's shoulder, "Wait here and rest. Other citizens are still fighting and we cannot leave them." She vanishes in a puff of logic and reappears midkick into the Gusty-burn-your-face-a-tron, followed by another kick.
[21:02] * Jake_Juice slumps down against the wall and takes deep breaths... what were they here for again? A wrench and spark batteries? This sure as hell isn't worth that... but he isn't going to take off and leave everyone else.
[21:03] * Missile_Rush continues to stay in spite of his burning coat, though he still tries to find a way to  put it out. He couldn't leave now! Not when he said he'd stay!
[21:04] * Purple_Kay continues bellowing in his delusional state. "I'll RIP out your spines! You cock-juggling sphincter pirates! I'll fuck-start your heads and ride you to the GRAVE!"
[21:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare's attack is unfortunately obscured by the smoke from the fire. She doesn't manage to land a solid blow.
[21:08] * Jake_Juice eventually gets his shit togethor and heads back up the stairs aiming his gun at the Gutsy and letting off three shots at the thing, keeping close to the wall at the top of the stairs and shooting the robot in the side before ducking back down, heading back down and around the corner out of the robots flamer's range as he begins to reload.
[21:08] * The_Batmare is not sure thats how flamethrowes work, but its there, she moves behind the robot to avoid the flamethrower
[21:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice's shots, of which two manage to land, compound the damage dealt by Purple_Kay and Boulder. The robot jerks about, looking to be on it's last... hover engine things
[21:12] * Razor is hurting, scorched, and holding a sharp slashing implement, standing right in front of the source of her pain. She was going to cut it to pieces! She slashes at the robot until it stops working!
[21:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor's wild swinging only hits the robot once, but that hit is more than enough to split the whole thing wide open. It falls to the floor in a crumpled heap. As it dies out, the klaxxon sounds again; "Cheif Security Enforcer Disabled. Initiating System Reset."
[21:15] <Boulder> "Reset? Well fuck."
[21:17] * The_Batmare blinks at the Klaxon... "Oh... kay. I think we should move with some haste before we are set on fire further."
[21:17] * Purple_Kay stands frozen. Slavering at the mouth and mumbling incoherently. Flamse continue to dance across his body, but he doesn't seem to comprehend the pain.
[21:17] * Razor is breathing pretty heavily. Her whole body feels pretty sore.
[21:18] * The_Batmare runs over to Purple_Kay and tries to put him out.
[21:18] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare eventually manages to beat Purple_Kay out, unless he reacts somehow
[21:18] * Jake_Juice heads back up to everyone else and grunts a bit in pain. "Fuck..."
[21:18] * Missile_Rush is breathing heavily, trying his hardest not to scream in spite of the burning coat. He looks away from the others, gritting his teeth, before he trots to the remains of the robot and investigates.
[21:21] * Purple_Kay 's eyes go wide, the rythmic beating of the Batmare's hooves bringing him out of his stupor. Fire out and eyes still glazed, he staggers forward toward Razor. "Are you ok, Smelty?" He trips and falls heavily on the staris.
[21:22] <TenMihara|GM>  The Robot's remains contain a Spark Battery, two Scrap Metal, a Sparkle Pack containing 6 charges (Gem Cell, equivalent of Small Energy Cell), and 3 units of Flamer Fuel. The klaxxon sounds once more "WARNING! Severe Programming Error detected. Please Contact Equestrian Robotics Central Office. For the sake of employee safety, all internal security will be deactivated. We apologize for our inconvenience."
[21:23] * The_Batmare blinks at Purple_Kay, "Huh?"
[21:23] * Missile_Rush collects the objects, still aflame. He looks back at the others, and especially at Purple_Kay. He considers...then he trots over and grasps him by the shoulder. "Snap out of it." His voice is low, and lacks its usual anger.
[21:24] * Boulder whips his head around to Purple_Kay. "He gonna be okay?"
[21:25] * Razor is still breathing kinda heavily. She doesn't feel so hot. "Ugh..."
[21:25] * The_Batmare stares at the group and looks around the room, oh look a bathroom, maybe there was a first aid kit for burn injuries
[21:25] * The_Batmare goes to check out
[21:25] <The_Batmare> it out*
[21:26] * Jake_Juice blinks, snapping out of it and trotting after The_Batmare.
[21:26] * Purple_Kay 's eyes flutter open. He takes a few measured breaths, he isn't entirely sure what just happened... He remembers the robot... He jerks up, eyes darting around the room until they spy the broken robot. He takes another measured, soothing breath.
[21:26] * Missile_Rush turns away and decides to put himself out first. Stop, drop, and roll...standard stuff.
[21:27] * Razor is still standing over the broken robot. Though, not anymore, because she needs to sit down for a minute. Rest for a bit.
[21:28] * Purple_Kay rises and cautiosly moves forward toward Razor and the bisected robot. He's surprised to find the turrets retracted. He shakes his head and looks over to Razor. "You alright kid?"
[21:30] * Razor shakes her head. Now that the adrenaline rush is starting to fade, she's starting to feel sore and dizzy.
[21:32] * Purple_Kay nods. "Lay down, Kiddo. Take a rest." He passes her his canteen. It has enough for one more good swig. He then digs into the robot's remains.
[21:32] * Missile_Rush has already scrapped the robot of anything useful.
[21:32] <TenMihara|GM>  The robot has the bits and pieces listed above
[21:33] * Jake_Juice leans against the entrance to the bathroom, looking at The_Batmare "Find anything *cough* useful?"
[21:33] * The_Batmare continues to look for the bathroom and a possible first aid kit within
[21:34] * Purple_Kay paws through the bits, he didn't remember anyone scavenging it, but he didn't remember it getting taken down either... "Find anything we needed?" He asked the air around him, unsure who had been there before.
[21:34] * Razor gives it a look, but accepts it, taking a drink. It helps, a little. She lies down, while the others are milling around.
[21:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare can find the employee bathroom on the main factory floor, past the sextet of no longer active robots. There's a room each for fillies and for colts, and each contains a separate first aid box.
[21:35] * The_Batmare checks the fillies room first and motions for Jake_Juice to check the colts. Silly Batmare
[21:36] * Jake_Juice heads into the colt's room, coughing and goes over to open the first aid box.
[21:36] <TenMihara|GM>  The Medical Box in the fillies room is unlocked, and contains 2 rolls of bandages, 3 bobby pins, and a single healing potion
[21:37] * Missile_Rush surveys the group. He trots to Purple_Kay and silently sets down everything he scavenged from the robot except the Sparkle Pack. He then trots on up to investigate the first of the two offices without another word.
[21:37] * The_Batmare exits the room and waits for Jake_Juice to finish his business
[21:38] <TenMihara|GM>  The first office is labeled 'Dimple: Equine Resourse Manager'
[21:38] * Boulder hangs towards the back of the group, covering their flanks.
[21:38] <TenMihara|GM>  the colt's room first aid box is locked
[21:38] * Missile_Rush decides to check that afterward, instead moving to the second of two offices.
[21:38] * Purple_Kay 's mind is finally catching up to the present. He stows the salvage, still needs another spark battery and some tools, although he can probably afford a wrench and some tape, barely.
[21:39] <TenMihara|GM>  The second office bears the nameplate 'Fender: Floor Supervisor'
[21:39] * The_Batmare breifly wonders why a first aid box has bobby pins. For a mane emergency?
[21:40] * Missile_Rush surveys the door before trying to open the door.
[21:41] * Razor is slowly starting to regain her composure. Her breathing is getting steadier, and the floor doesn't feel quite as much like it's being pulled out from under her.
[21:42] <TenMihara|GM>  The office door is open, and inside is an office that is slightly swankier than the ones on the first level. The Terminal looks a bit newer, and the desk and stool are nicer.
[21:42] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a pair of independant filing cabinets to the side
[21:42] * Missile_Rush first investigates all drawers and looks about to see if he missed anything before trying his hoof at the terminal.
[21:44] * Purple_Kay walks over, offering his hoof to Razor. "You feeling good enough to stand, Kid? We still need to scrounge up another spark battery." The nagging pain of the burns is excruciating but familiar. He schools his face into it's familiar expression.
[21:44] * Jake_Juice grumbles and hits the medical box with a hoof then heads outside "Hey *cough* the one in there is locked..."
[21:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush finds himself in luck, as the person who owned this office was obviously a collector. There are 200 bottle caps in a sack in one of the drawers, and another dozen (12) scattered throughout the rest of the desk
[21:44] * The_Batmare "Shoot it open." She calls from outside the room
[21:47] * Jake_Juice grunts and leans against a wall "You got any bobby pins? Screwdriver *cough* maybe? Might be one lying around *cough* here somewhere..."
[21:47] * The_Batmare "I have some bobby pins, and a few healing supplies for you. Come out and I will give them to you."
[21:48] * Jake_Juice did come out...
[21:48] * Razor gives an attempt to stand up. She doesn't want to be the one to hold everypony back.
[21:48] * The_Batmare didn't notice, she hoofs Jake_Juice two bandages, a healing potion, and three bobby pins, "Here you go."
[21:49] * Purple_Kay reaches out instinctively as Razor starts to stagger, helping her steady herself.
[21:50] * Razor feels another wave of dizziness as she gets to her hooves, and the next thing she knows, she's falling over.
[21:50] * Boulder stands near Purple_Kay, watching as Razor stumbles around.
[21:50] * Jake_Juice takes the supplies "Thanks...", he drinks down the healing potion then begins looking around for a screw driver.
[21:52] * The_Batmare "No problem, I will go to look for more things to scavenge."
[21:52] * Purple_Kay wasn't expecting Razer to stagger so... hard. She falls heavily against his burned torso. He grits his teeth against the blinding pain. He hisses out, "Easy there. I gotcha."
[21:52] * Jake_Juice nods at The_Batmare "Yeah... do that, please."
[21:54] * The_Batmare looks around the factory floor for sweet loot
[21:54] * Missile_Rush collects the caps and tries his hoof at the terminal.
[21:54] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice spots a rusty old toolbox. Inside, he finds a jackpot (of small tools anyways). A Screwdriver, a Wrench, two rolls of Duct Tape, a hammer, two bottles of wonderglue, and a spare spark battery.
[21:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The terminal in this office is locked
[21:55] * Missile_Rush sighs and gets up to investigate the other office.
[21:55] <TenMihara|GM>  The only things on the factory floor that seem to be worth salvaging are the robots themselves, or perhaps the parts within, that can be easily accessed now that you have some tools
[21:56] * Missile_Rush takes one look back at the room before he leaves. Had he missed something...?
[21:56] * Razor squeezes her eyes shut. She expected to hit the floor, but instead she hits PK's side. She wishes her body wouldn't betray her like that...
[21:56] * The_Batmare has no idea what robots do so she checks back upstairs
[21:56] * Jake_Juice takes the tool box of stuff with him and heads back into the bathroom. He heads over to the medicine box, then attempts to pick it open.
[21:56] <TenMihara|GM>  In the other office, Missile_Rush's eyes are immediately drawn to a pony skeleton surround by scorch marks and some bits of ash. One of the skeleton's rear hooves is caught in the window
[21:57] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow and trots over to investigate the skeleton, the window itself, and the view outside the window.
[21:57] <TenMihara|GM>  The presence of wing bones suggests that this was a pegasus who flew up to the window, and the window looks like it was pried open
[21:58] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice manages to get the first aid box open fairly easily, as the lock was rather simple. This box also contained a single healing potion, two more bobby pins, and another packet of bandages
[21:58] * Missile_Rush peers at this grisly scene as he looks out the window itself.
[21:59] * Razor starts to feel a little more stable after a few moments. She adjusts herself, standing with PK's help, muttering, "I think I'm okay..."
[21:59] <TenMihara|GM>  The Window itself it facing the direction of the Hoofington core, which Missile gets a very good view up. There is still a shield over most of the city, as well as the thick, black metal wall around the base
[22:00] * Missile_Rush looks upon the core. Something about that place didn't feel right...he makes a mental note of this and trots out to investigate the adjacent office.
[22:00] * Purple_Kay nods. "Good. Then lets make sure Batty and Buddy-Boy didn't bail on us." He starts backtracking toward the factory floor.
[22:00] * Jake_Juice heads out of the bathroom and begins to look for the group, when he finds everyone he says "Alright... I've got one healing potion. Who's hurt the most?" he says looking over everyone.
[22:01] <TenMihara|GM>  The adjacent office again contains a desk with a terminal on it, and a pair of filing cabinets, as well as some personal knick-knacks on the desk
[22:02] * Missile_Rush opens the filing cabinets before investigating the aforementioned knick-knacks.
[22:02] * Razor follows, a bit slower than her normal pace. She's not really sure what's wrong with her.
[22:02] * The_Batmare sees Purple_Kay as she goes upstairs, "Hello. There are robots, they may provide what you are looking for."
[22:03] * Purple_Kay nods. "I can try to get into them."
[22:03] * Jake_Juice examines The_Batmare, Razor, and Purple_Kay, trying to figure out which one needed the healing potion and if any of them needed bandaged anywhere.
[22:04] * The_Batmare is mostly fine, "Did we find any other supplies?"
[22:05] * Purple_Kay "There was a battery in the bot. Need another and some tools. Anything on your end?"
[22:06] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare "Found some more bandages, and another healing potion. Where's fly boy at? Oh, yeah." he digs into the tool box and takes out the battery, hooving it to Purple_Kay "Here, we should be set now right?"
[22:08] * Purple_Kay nods. "Yeah, that will do it, but no reason to leave the robots un-stripped. Mind if I take the tools and strip them? Make it a lot faster than disassembly by hoof."
[22:09] <TenMihara|GM>  one of said knick-knacks is a small, crystaline orb in a velvet box labeled 'Escalation'
[22:09] * Jake_Juice takes out the healing potion and feeds it to Purple_Kay "Also, here, pretty sure that thing hit you with the brunt of it's flames. Might wanna back off a bit next time you're fighting something like that." he then gives Purple_Kay the tool box, keeping the screw driver and the bobby pins "Here yah go."
[22:09] * Razor takes a rest by leaning against a nearby wall. She doesn't dare sit down in case she can't stand up again.
[22:09] * Purple_Kay holds up a hoof. "I'll make it."
[22:10] * Purple_Kay "Give it to the Kid."
[22:10] * Missile_Rush blinks and takes the orb. Was this what he thought it was...? He places it in his saddlebags nonetheless as he looks in the filing cabinets and any other drawers.
[22:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Throughout the drawers and filing cabinets, Missile_Rush finds another 20 Bottle Caps
[22:11] <TenMihara|GM>  As well as various paperwork, pencils, clipboards and paperweights
[22:11] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Suit yourself." he instead goes over to Razor "Here, drink this kid." he feeds the healing potion to Razor.
[22:12] * Missile_Rush takes the caps and leaves everything else before directing his attention to the terminal.
[22:12] * Purple_Kay hoofs it down to the factory floor and begins stripping the robots... with TOOLS!
[22:12] * Razor isn't really in a position to argue or resist, so she accepts the potion. At least it helps her feel a little less sore.
[22:13] <TenMihara|GM>  This terminal is again locked
[22:13] * Missile_Rush furrows his brow and takes one last look at this room before moving on.
[22:14] * The_Batmare stands there for a lack of anything else to do at this time
[22:14] * Boulder also stands there.
[22:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's mechanical skills, with the aid of the tools, allow him to successfully strip the robots for a total of 4 Spark Batteries, 40 Gem Cells (Small Energy Cell), 4 Scrap Electronics and 8 Scrap Metal
[22:15] * Jake_Juice trots over to The_Batmare "Helluva day huh?"
[22:15] * Missile_Rush attempts to hack this terminal.
[22:16] * The_Batmare nods, "Yes, I suppose so. I have to wonder why we were sent to such a dangerous place for basic electronics."
[22:16] * Purple_Kay gives a last look around the floor before heading back up to join the group.
[22:16] * Missile_Rush , as he attempts the hack, recalls that he should probably ask The_Batmare to investigate that orb...
[22:17] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Maybe she was misinformed? Who knows. At least we're alive."
[22:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush finds, on this terminal, the password for Gearshift's terminal in his private office, as well as the origins of the note about the safe key and the same dismissal notice as every other terminal
[22:18] * The_Batmare nods, "That is true, for a given definition of alive."
[22:20] * Missile_Rush memorizes the password and begins to read the note about the safe key.
[22:20] * Jake_Juice chuckles and shakes his head "You holding up alright? ...Hard to tell when you're wearing that getup."
[22:22] * The_Batmare nods, "I will be fine with rest, I managed to avoid the flamethrower and most bullets."
[22:22] * Purple_Kay makes his way up the stairs, rejoining the group. He sits down near Razor, somewhat between her and Jake and the Batmare.
[22:23] <TenMihara|GM>  'Inter Office Correspondence to Coral: Stupid fatcats shutting this place down. Probably just using the faulty programming thing as an excuse to write the place off and set up a new shop in the core. Well, they can't screw me out of my pension. I'm coming back after close to loot Gearshift's safe. He always keeps his key under the potted plant, and I have his terminal password to shut off the security.'
[22:23] * Missile_Rush finishes reading the note and trots out the office to look for Gearshift's office, whoever Gearshift was...
[22:23] * Razor has her eyes closed as she rests against the wall. It almost looks like she's napping.
[22:23] <TenMihara|GM>  There is also a reply: 'To Fender: I'm not going to tell anypony, but you should really think twice about this. If you screw up you'll land your ass in jail.'
[22:24] * Missile_Rush remembers that note too. He continues down the hallway in search of Gearshift's office.
[22:24] <TenMihara|GM>  There is a door at the end of this hallway past the deactivated turrets that leads out to the scaffolding over the factory floor. It's the only other door in the place
[22:24] * Missile_Rush trots to said door and investigates.
[22:26] * Jake_Juice smirks "Avoiding most, doesn't necisserily mean that one of the ones that did hit you didn't hit something important, but, if you feel fine, then you should be fine." he looks at Razor "Hey, wake up kid, you can nap when we're somewhere safe." he looks back at The_Batmare and stares at her for a moment, then shakes his head. "We should probably head out soon."
[22:26] <TenMihara|GM>  The door opens out to the metal catwalks over the machinery and now inactive and stripped robots of the factory floor. At the far end of the catwalks, a completely independant office can be seen, and is also connected to a metal staircase down to the factory floor.
[22:27] * Purple_Kay "I agree. Didn't go through all this to get eaten by some nocturnal beastie on the way back. Let's get Rush and head back."
[22:27] * The_Batmare "Yes, I agree. I do not trust this place."
[22:27] * Missile_Rush looks at the office. He looks behind him. Somehow...why? Nopony there had ever done anything for him, and he'd done nothing for them...why did he feel so oddly...obligated to them? Without knowing why, he trots back to the stairs and calls down to the group. "I think there's something we ought to investigate." He immediately turns tail and trots back to look at the office.
[22:28] * The_Batmare blinks at the voice and goes to follow, "What is this?"
[22:29] <TenMihara|GM>  The office door is not locked, and bears the nameplate of 'Gearshift: Factory Overseer'
[22:29] * Missile_Rush heads in and looks around for any potted plants.
[22:29] * Jake_Juice looks at Purple_Kay "You find anything we can sell? Caps would be nice after all of this." he blinks, the follows after The_Batmare.
[22:29] * Razor mutters, "I'm awake..." She doesn't sound all that awake.
[22:29] * The_Batmare "What are you doing..." She says to Missile_Rush
[22:30] * Purple_Kay "Come on, Kid. One more stop then back to Doc's and a nice, comfortable medical bed." He keeps pace beside her as they follow after the group.
[22:31] * Missile_Rush doesn't immediately answer. Instead, he reaches into his saddlebags, pulls out the "Escalation" memory orb, and hands it to The_Batmare. "I found this back there. You should take a look at it." He continues onward into the office and looks for that potted plant.
[22:31] <TenMihara|GM>  There is a dead potted Ficus in the corner. The office itself is fairly lavish compared to the rest of the building, with a mahogany desk beneath which the safe can be found, along with an ammunition box that seems somewhat out of place. The desk has a terminal on it.
[22:32] * Razor blinks a little as she re-opens her eyes, nodding slightly. "Yeah... I'm coming..." She follows at a slow pace.
[22:32] * Missile_Rush looks at the dead Ficus to find the key first.
[22:32] * The_Batmare holds the memory orb in her hoof, "What is this? How does it work?"
[22:33] <TenMihara|GM>  As stated by Fender's note, the key to the safe is indeed underneath the potted plant
[22:33] * Jake_Juice trots up behind Missile_Rush and The_Batmare "Hmm..." he heads over to the ammo box to see if it's locked or not. He blinks, then looks at The_Batmare "It's a memory orb. Put it up to your horn and you'll relieve someone else's memory. I hear it's like being in someone elses body."
[22:34] <TenMihara|GM>  The ammo box is not locked, and contains 2 clips of 10mm ammunition (24 rounds)
[22:34] * The_Batmare looks over at Jake_Juice. "Okay..." She touches the orb to her horn. OooOoOOoOoO
[22:36] * Jake_Juice hmms, and holds onto the ammo, seeing as how nobody has any weapon to use said ammo. He searches the desk then tries to open the safe, figuring it was locked but it never hurt to try.
[22:36] * The_Batmare does nothing. What is this madness. She tries to magic the fuck out of it because now she was curious
[22:36] * Missile_Rush takes the key and looks around for that safe.
[22:37] * Purple_Kay and Razor finally drag into the room.
[22:37] <TenMihara|GM>  The safe is under the desk, and missile_Rush has the key
[22:37] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare spaces out as the memory takes over her senses.
[22:38] * The_Batmare instantly regrets not making Razor do this
[22:38] * Jake_Juice blinks, then rushes over to The_Batmare to catch her and lay her down on the ground "Didn't mean to do it right now damnit..."
[22:39] * Missile_Rush glances at The_Batmare before he tries to open the safe.
[22:40] <TenMihara|GM>  The Safe contains a large sack of Pre-war coins (Estimated value: 300 Bottle Caps), some financial records, and a pistol, presumably to which the ammo clips in the box belonged
[22:41] * Jake_Juice looks over at Missile_Rush "Find anything useful?"
[22:41] * Missile_Rush takes the Pre-war money and investigates the pistol more closely.
[22:42] <TenMihara|GM>  The pistol is a standard, off the line 10mm
[22:42] * Razor blinks and looks at The_Batmare. "Fuck's up with freakshow?"
[22:43] * Boulder is along for the adventurous ride of doing nothing with The_Batmare.
[22:43] * Jake_Juice looks up at Razor and sighs "She's in someone elses memory, she'll be out of it in a little while."
[22:44] <Jake_Juice> "Well... might be a few hours depending."
[22:44] * Purple_Kay "Well, we can always carry her out if need be."
[22:44] * Boulder nods. "I was just going to say that."
[22:45] * Missile_Rush turns to give Jake_Juice the pistol. "I'm willing to bet that this won't explode in your face as readily as that other weapon of yours."
[22:45] * Razor grins a little. "So she can't see us? At all?"
[22:45] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah, I'm not carrying much of anything anyways." he looks back at Missile_Rush and waves his hooves in the air "Hey, you, searching the safe. Find anything useful or not?"
[22:45] * Missile_Rush is standing there, offering the pistol to Jake_Juice.
[22:45] * Purple_Kay "Stop thinking about it Razor. Well, you can think about it, but don't do it."
[22:46] * Jake_Juice looks at Razor "No. It's like she's sleeping." he stares at Razor for a moment "Don't get any ideas." he looks at Missile_Rush and blinks "Oh, hell thanks. I've needed a better gun for awhile now." he takes the gun and holsters it.
[22:46] * Razor looks at PK. "Oh come on! She deserves it! Just a little fun! It won't even hurt!"
[22:47] * Missile_Rush nods silently and looks about the room to see if there's a terminal in here.
[22:48] * Jake_Juice shakes his head at Razor "Yeah, no, sorry."
[22:49] * Purple_Kay looks unamused. A stern look on his face. He used her full name, for Celestia's sake.
[22:49] <TenMihara|GM>  TheBatmare comes out of the memory orb.
[22:49] * The_Batmare blinks and looks around, "That was interesting."
[22:50] * Missile_Rush looks to The_Batmare. "What was it about?"
[22:50] * Jake_Juice blinks then holds out a hoof for The_Batmare to help her up "What was in it?"
[22:50] * Razor grumbles. Never any fun.
[22:50] * Purple_Kay grunts. "Can we walk and talk? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to get the fuck out of here."
[22:51] <TenMihara|GM>  The Terminal is on the mahogany desk, almost directly above the safe
[22:51] * Missile_Rush turns to Purple_Kay. "One moment." He turns to the terminal and tries to log on.
[22:51] * The_Batmare gets back up "The invention of firearms, I think."
[22:52] * Jake_Juice nods and nudges The_Batmare "Yeah, you can tell us on the way hun'." he blinks "Interesting..."
[22:52] * The_Batmare nods, "Sure..." She pauses. "Why do you keep calling me that?"
[22:52] * Purple_Kay waits for Rush. Enough ponies have waited on him this trip, all things considered."
[22:53] <TenMihara|GM>  The password Missile_Rush found works, and lets him into the terminal, upon where there is an option to remotely open the safe (in case of lost key), and remotely shut down the robotic security
[22:54] * Missile_Rush stares at the screen for a full three seconds before hoofing the screen. What good was any of that after the fact? He gets up and trots out the office. "Let's go."
[22:55] * Purple_Kay trots beside Razor as they leave the facility. Ready to offer support if she has another dizzy spell.
[22:55] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare and raises an eyebrow, smirking a bit "Would you like me to call you somthin' else? Hun'? Darlin'? Love?"
[22:56] <TenMihara|GM>  The terminal gets back at Missile with a shock
[22:56] * Boulder brings up the rear as they depart.
[22:56] * Missile_Rush felt that, alright, but gives no indication aside from a grunt.

[22:57] * Razor is feeling okay now. She follows PK, glad to be rid of this damn place. She needs to rest.
[22:59] * The_Batmare opens her mouth to say something, but flusters and closes her mouth. masks are awesome. "Lets... I..." She goes to follow PK Out of the facility
[23:00] * Purple_Kay keeps his eyes peelsd as they start their journey back. He's rather serious about avoiding an ironic death on the way back from their mission.
[23:01] * Missile_Rush deploys his wings and flies ahead, but stays close enough to the group so he can hear anything they say.
[23:01] * Jake_Juice smirks and chuckles, following The_Batmare out "Of course mon chere'."
[23:03] <TenMihara|GM>  The journey back to Flank is nice and leisurly, and the group arrives as night falls
[23:04] <Boulder> "Well, I have to say, that was an interesting adventure, but I shall continue on my way now."
[23:04] * Jake_Juice yawns a bit, stretching out his legs "We going back to Silver's place? Or if anyone wants, I can sell some of the stuff we scavenged."
[23:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver can be seen outside her clinic, smoking while facing away form the group
[23:04] * Missile_Rush lands and nods silently to Boulder.
[23:04] * Jake_Juice looks at Boulder "Uh... right. Stay safe I guess."

[23:06] * Missile_Rush turns to Purple_Kay. "I imagine this is where we part ways, then. I leave tomorrow morning for my own job."
[23:06] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at Missile_Rush "What job is that?"
[23:07] * Missile_Rush turns to Jake_Juice. "I'm looking for a missing pony."
[23:07] * Jake_Juice "Who?"
[23:07] * Purple_Kay "If you need extra hooves, come find me." With that he heads off to Doc Silver's, it's going to be a lengthy repair.
[23:08] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc Silver turns around as she hears Purple's hoofsteps approaching, then drops her jaw, the cigarette falling out; "Holy shit, what happened? I thought that place was all locked up. Did some raiders get in and hole up?"
[23:08] * Missile_Rush nods to Purple_Kay and turns to Jake_Juice. "A waitress at Mixers who hasn't been seen for a while. Caprice wants me to find out what happened."
[23:09] * Razor doesn't really have a specific place to stay. For lack of that, she follows PK to Doc Silver's place.
[23:09] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver balks even more at Razor, who looks just about as fucked up at the moment
[23:10] * Jake_Juice blinks "Huh... might help you out with that. Anyways, need to check in with Silver." he trots after Purple_Kay, his blood and burn marks healed for the most part "You could say that Silver."
[23:10] * Purple_Kay looks at the Doc. "Little run in with the security robots." He gestures Razor toward 'her' gurney. He figures she could use the sleep. He starts laying out the parts he'll need. "Might take me a bit."
[23:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver gives a whistle; "So you actually got the shit huh? Nice work. Tell you what, and don't ever expect me to be this charitable again, but after you get it working, you and your friends can use it to get yourselves patched up."
[23:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver smiles; "Need to test it out anyways, so why not on you guys?"
[23:11] * Missile_Rush decides to trot in as well.
[23:13] * Jake_Juice smirks "Well... thanks Silver... that's great. Now, about those medical supplies?"
[23:13] * Missile_Rush stands at Doc Silver's door behind the rest of the group.
[23:13] * Purple_Kay "Here I thought I would have to pitch that idea myself." He cracks a smile. "something like, 'where else you going to find somepony dumb enough to jump in a tube full of blades rebuilt out of crazed robot components'."
[23:13] * Razor doesn't pay much attention to the other ponies talking. She goes to lie down for a bit. She kinda needs it.
[23:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver nods and pops over to a supply cabinet. She hoofs each party member one healing potion and a roll of bandages
[23:14] * Doc is in Stable 69, doing 'things'.
[23:16] * The_Batmare "Thanks you." She looks at Purple_Kay. He still owed her.
[23:16] * Missile_Rush nods gratefully to Silver. "Thank you."
[23:16] <TenMihara|GM>  It will take Purple_Kay about an hour to complete repairs on the automated healing booth
[23:16] * Jake_Juice blinks, putting the bandages and potion away. "Thanks Silver." he looks at The_Batmare "Want me to hang onto yours for you? I'll be able to use them on you more effectively than you can if you get hurt."
[23:17] * Missile_Rush turns to Purple_Kay. "How long will repairs take?"
[23:17] * The_Batmare "I will hold mine for now in case we are seperate and it is required."
[23:17] * Purple_Kay offers the potion to the Batmare. "Almost debt free." He crawls into the machine.
[23:17] * Purple_Kay "About an hour."
[23:18] * Missile_Rush nods. "I'll be back, then." He turns to the others and nods briefly to each of them before he trots outside. To Mixers, then...there was somepony he needed to talk to.
[23:18] * Jake_Juice nods "Alright, yah, better safe than sorry."
[23:19] * The_Batmare takes the potion... and then gives it back, "Thank you."
[23:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Mixers is just starting to fill up with it's night crowd. The lights are being dimmed and the DJs are warming up. Caprice is behind the counter, talking to a couple of the waitresses. She waves Missile_Rush over; "You were the guy asking about Copper, right? Any luck?"
[23:20] * Missile_Rush trots to Caprice and shakes his head. He probably looks like a mess. "I was sidetracked. I leave tomorrow."
[23:21] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice raises an eyebrow, looking Missile over; "Quite a side track. What happened?"
[23:21] * Missile_Rush looks to Caprice and furrows his brow. "Suffice to say that pegasi don't take well to robots with flamethrowers."
[23:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice winces; "Ouch. Oddly enough, your the second Pegasus I've seen today. The other one's working her plot over in Stable 69 now though."
[23:22] * Purple_Kay is half inside the machine when he notices the Batmare has left the potion behind. He smiles after her, even if she doesn't see. Nuttier than an elephant turd at the circus, but a good mare nonetheless. He hums a jaunty tune as he goes to work.
[23:23] * Missile_Rush raises an eyebrow. "Another pegasus?"
[23:23] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice nods; "Yeah, you guys don't show up very often down here."
[23:23] * The_Batmare walks over to Jake_Juice, "The night is young, I must watch the streets. Is there nothing else to be done tonight?"
[23:24] * Missile_Rush locks a pair of crimson eyes at Caprice before he turns to show his cutie mark to her. "Does she have a mark like mine?"
[23:24] * Razor rests while PK works. She definitely feels like she could use a real nap.
[23:25] * Jake_Juice blinks "Uh... heal yourself before you leave here. Other than that... no... not really. Although I'm not doing anything tonight... so I wouldn't mind... 'watching the streets' with you."
[23:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice shakes her head; "Nope. Looked like a scalpel. She's just doing the flank work to get herself out of a debt."
[23:27] * The_Batmare "I am not injured enough to justify the expenditure of resources..." she pauses. "But I can show you to my pearch, though you will have a hard time getting down if anything goes wrong..."
[23:27] * Missile_Rush turns back around to face Caprice. "A debt?"
[23:29] * Jake_Juice looks at Purple_Kay "Hey, come find me in the morning and I can sell anything you don't need for you. I have a knack for bartering." he looks at The_Batmare and smirks "I'd love to see it." he then heads into the machine after PK and heals up, then trots back out, looking at Doc Silver "Thanks a lot Silver, be seeing yah around, I'm sure."
[23:29] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice nods; "She got in trouble with the local law enforcement, I bailed her out, now she works for me."
[23:29] * Purple_Kay sticks his head out of the machine, "Knack for barterin', heh?"
[23:30] * Missile_Rush 's brow furrows. "What did she do?"
[23:30] * The_Batmare is ummune to innuendo and stands off to the side until Jake is finished
[23:30] * Jake_Juice nods at Purple_Kay "Eyup. Used to be a... bartender."
[23:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice wiggles a hoof; "That's her business, not yours."
[23:31] * Missile_Rush nods. "Fair enough." He looks up to Caprice. 'Where can I talk to her?"
[23:31] * Purple_Kay "I consider myself lucky if the shopkeeper keeps the 'ugly tax' under 50% percent. It's still going to be awhile before I get this running, but I've got some extra parts I got off those robots."
[23:32] * Purple_Kay "How bout it, sell what I pulled and keep 20% for yourself?"
[23:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice smirks; "Well, if she's not servicing another customer, you can ask for her at Stable 69. it's just up the main strip from here."
[23:33] * Jake_Juice smirks then nods "Hmm... yeah, I could do that."
[23:34] * Missile_Rush nods. "Understood." He looks to Caprice. "I'll be back once I speak to her." He trots on out to Stable 69. Another pegasus, huh? What was her story...?
[23:35] * The_Batmare "20% is low. We all were injured in getting the supplies, we should all get an even share."
[23:35] * Purple_Kay trots over to his saddle and gear. He puts his sellables in the homeless buck's old saddlebag and the rest in the toolbox. "Don't sell the saddlebag. The battle saddle has pockets, but a real saddle bag is useful."
[23:36] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare then at Purple_Kay "She does have a point... and I doubt you could've killed those robots by yourself..." he takes the sellables and waits for PK to respond.
[23:37] * Purple_Kay "That may be the case. And if we all put everything we found in a pile and sold it, I'd go with even splits. But I'm sure we all picked up odds and ends along the way. I mean, what was even in that safe? Can't be an even split when you can't be sure it all goes in the same pot.""

[23:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Stable 69 is marked by a lot of red lights. The building itself is only a front office, with a sign pointing down to the Stable proper.
[23:40] * The_Batmare "Then we speak with him to make sure he dd not take more than is rightfully his."
[23:40] * Jake_Juice nods "Right... you want to do that now hun'?"
[23:41] * Missile_Rush has no intention of keeping everything he found. He decides to head to the front office first and looks for a receptionist.
[23:41] * Purple_Kay "60/40 my way. Basically taking the cost of the gun out of it."
[23:42] <TenMihara|GM>  The recptionist looks up. She's dressed in garters and hose, all of her important bits covered. It was odd, considering ponies normally didn't wear clothes; "What can we do ya for sugar?"
[23:42] * The_Batmare "Uh, yes, sure. Did you see where he went?" She looks at Purple_Kay and narrows her eyes
[23:43] * Missile_Rush is unperturbed by the receptionist's raunchy clothing. "I'm looking for somepony in Stable 69. A pegasus?"
[23:44] <TenMihara|GM>  The recptionist raises an eyebrow; "Fond of feathers are ya? Well, yer in luck. We just had a pegasus hired here today."
[23:45] * Missile_Rush nods. "Where is she?"
[23:46] * Purple_Kay "Why so serious, Bats? We're bartering. You are damn good at it, already got me to double up. Shit. If you want to go track Rush down to make a communal pile for evensies, go for it. My bag will be sitting right here til you iron it out."
[23:46] <TenMihara|GM>  The recptionist smirks; "Presently? With her first client. But you can go down to the club and wait for her to come out if you like. Cover Charge is five caps."
[23:48] * Jake_Juice shrugs "He said he was headed over to Mixers if you wanna check with me hun'."
[23:49] * The_Batmare looks over at Purple_Kay, "I just want it to be fair." She blinks at Jake_Juice, "Thats the... er... that... establishment with the um..." She gulps. "Sure, we will go... to look for him."
[23:50] * Razor is still napping. Rest is good!
[23:51] * Jake_Juice nods, then heads out of the building and over towards Mixers "We'll be back in a bit P."
[23:52] * The_Batmare follows after Jake_Juice nervously.
[23:52] * Missile_Rush nods. "In a moment, then." He remembers what he forgot - he trots back to Mixers to find Caprice again.
[23:52] <TenMihara|GM>  The_Batmare and Jake_Juice run into Missile as he is heading back to Mixers
[23:53] * Jake_Juice looks at The_Batmare as they trot "Something wrong hun.'?" he blinks as he sees Missile "Well that was easy."

[23:53] * Missile_Rush stops short, nodding to the two. "We're seeing a lot of one another."
[23:54] * The_Batmare sighs in relief upon seeing Missile_Rush, "You, we have been searching for you. What items did you procure from the facility?"
[23:54] * Jake_Juice nods at Missile_Rush "Hey... there wasn't anything else in that safe was there? We were planning on taking everything nobody is going to be using and selling it then splitting the caps."
[23:55] * Purple_Kay merrilly continues his work on the auto-doc
[23:56] * Missile_Rush turns to The_Batmare. "A sparkle cell and a rather large quantity of caps, as well as the memory orb I gave you and the pistol I gave him." as he gestures to Jake_Juice. "Everything else I gave to Purple_Kay."
[23:57] * The_Batmare nods, "Tomorrow we will be splitting the profit, we hope you are not missing then."
[23:57] * Jake_Juice nods and hmms "Well, to keep it fair, you should split those caps between everyone that went... well, besides Boulder obviously, seeing as how he's kinda gone. Then, give me anything you intend to see you got from that place, and I'll split the caps from that between everyone as well. Tomorrow, of course."
[23:58] <Jake_Juice> intend to sell*
[23:59] * Missile_Rush shakes his head. "Consider me as having forefeited my share." He turns to The_Batmare. "You told me that you are a mare of justice, didn't you? You can take whatever I would have gotten and give it to ponies who need it, if you so choose." He locks his eyes on Jake_Juice next. "Implying you considered me a part of this group, then?"
[00:00] * The_Batmare blinks at Missile_Rush, "That is unwise, you should use your caps for food and drinks."
[00:01] * Jake_Juice raises an eyebrow at Missile_Rush "You did go with us, and there's no way you could've taken out those robots on your own if you'd have gone by yourself, which would mean you wouldn't have what you have right now. Come on, don't play stupid."
[00:03] * Missile_Rush turns momentarily back to The_Batmare. "By your definition, risking yourself for other ponies is unwise as well. Is that not what you yourself do?"
[00:05] * The_Batmare "Starving yourself for no reason does no equate to saving lives. Take your caps so you can purchase what you require to survive."
[00:06] <Jake_Juice> "Also, you should go see Doc Silver, she'll heal you up for free just this once, give you some supplies too."
[00:08] * Purple_Kay stops his tuenless humming. "Say, Kid. What are you doing in Flank anyway?" This is really the first time there has been downtime where she isn't also recovering from a sever head injury..
[00:09] * Missile_Rush turns back to Jake_Juice. "Stupid? Perhaps, but I think that by forfeiting my share of a job I was not truly a part of is enough to cover any damages. But...why not?" He faces The_Batmare and Jake_Juice. "Among the items I found in the wreckage is a sack of pre-war money. I will go and convert it to caps, and distribute that among us."

[00:10] * Jake_Juice nods slowly "Alright then. You got anything else? If not, we'll all meet up tomorrow and you can distribute them then."
[00:11] * The_Batmare nods, "This seems like the best option."
[00:12] * Missile_Rush shakes hie head. "Apart from the sparkle cell, I have nothing." He looks up. "But I still cannot accept whatever 'share' would have been paid to me. Remember that." He turns to Jake_Juice. "Where do we meet tomorrow, then?"
[00:13] * Jake_Juice looks around for a second "Mixers would be a good place, or in front of Silver's. Doesn't matter to me none."
[00:13] * The_Batmare "We were just paid in healing discounts. The loot is extra, and thus belongs to you."
[00:13] * Purple_Kay sticks his head out to see if Razor has fallen asleep, or is just ignoring his attempts as smalltalk.
[00:14] * Razor is definitely asleep, but could probably be easily woken up.
[00:14] * Missile_Rush nods. "Understood." He turns to The_Batmare. "We will discuss that later. For now, I have something to do." He looks The_Batmare and Jake_Juice. "Is there anything else I can do before I go in, then?"
[00:16] * The_Batmare shakes her head
[00:16] * Missile_Rush nods. "Until tomorrow, then." With that, he trots into Mixers.
[00:17] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice looks back up; "That was fast." She seems to be implying something as the other two mares nearby snicker
[00:18] * Jake_Juice shakes his head "Nope." he waves Missile_Rush off, then turns and heads back into Silver's "Hey P, we're going to meet up tomorrow, along with fly boy, and sell everything nobody wants, then split the caps. Sound good?"
[00:18] * Missile_Rush makes no indication that this bothered him. It didn't. He looks up at Caprice. "There was something I forgot to speak to you about."
[00:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice raises an eyebrow; "Oh. What's that?"
[00:19] * Purple_Kay lets a ghost of a smile curl his lips as he sees her sprawled out asleep. Laid out like that, she can't hide it. She's a young mare forced to grow up quick and brutal in a bad place, but asleep she's just a young mare just coming into her life. He shakes his head vigorously. Sentimental old fart. He gets back to work.
[00:20] * Missile_Rush places the sack of pre-war money on the counter. "I need to exchange this for caps."
[00:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice nods; "I see. You're lucky you came to me. Most ponies don't consider pre-war money valid."
[00:20] * Missile_Rush nods in turn. "How much is it worth?"
[00:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice looks the bag over; "I'll give you 300 caps for the lot."
[00:22] * Missile_Rush hesitates momentarily. That...was a lot more than he had imagined. "Fair enough." he pushes the bag closer.
[00:24] * The_Batmare waits for Jake_Juice to finish his tak
[00:24] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice smirks; "Like I said, you're lucky you came to me. Might have gotten half that or less from anypony else, but I know a few things."

[00:24] * Missile_Rush raises an eyebrow. "One of those things being pre-war currency?"
[00:25] * Purple_Kay hears Jake come in and ask a question a few moments after he gets back in the machine. "Yeah, that works. See you in the morning. Shouldn't be much longer now. Just another twist and... there. She should fire up."
[00:26] <TenMihara|GM>  Caprice smiles; "Bingo. Have to keep some trade secrets though." She winks
[00:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay has successfully completed hsi repairs. Silver looks it over; "Not bad big guy."
[00:27] * Missile_Rush nods. "Understood. I'll take the 300, then."
[00:28] * Jake_Juice smirks "Nice. I'll see yah in the mornin' then." he turns and heads out of the building and stands next to The_Batmare "Well."
[00:28] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver calls out to Jake_Juice; "You gonna be one of my test guine pigs or not?"
[00:29] * Purple_Kay "Well, we'll know if it's bad or not if it makes me uglier." He climbs into the tube. "Dig in, Doc."
[00:29] * Jake_Juice blinks "Oh, right. Come on hun', you need healed up too."
[00:29] * The_Batmare "My perch, thiss way." he shows Jake_Juice to the fire escape she uses to access the rooftops

[00:30] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Alright, alright. I'll just be a second then." he heads back in to be a guinea pig.
[00:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver smirks and fires up the Auto-Doc, which seals Purple_Kay inside for a good ten minutes. There's a lot of awful noise and claustrophobia if you suffer from that, but upon emerging, all of his more recent injuries are completely healed.

[00:33] * Missile_Rush nods and accepts the caps. "Thank you." He nods and steps out of the building. He suddenly winces - perhaps he ought to take the doctor on her offer after all. He trots over back to Doc Silver's. He'd have to head to the stable after this was over.
[00:34] * Razor jerks slightly, and looks around frantically, blinking the sleep from her eyes.
[00:34] * Razor 's eyes eventually settle on PK. She looks kinda confused.
[00:34] * Purple_Kay smiles. "Easy. Your up in the Auto-Doc"
[00:35] * Razor gives a curious look around the room, eventually spying the machine. "That thing?"
[00:36] * Purple_Kay "Yep, crawl in, wait a few minutes, come out fit as a fiddle."
[00:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple looks to Missile_Rush as he comes in, then to Purple_Kay; "feathers there doesn't look so good. Wasn't he with you earlier?"
[00:37] <Jake_Juice> Silver*? :P
[00:37] * Razor is a little wary about that, but she stands and stretches, heading over toward the machine. She's starting to trust PK a bit. She's not sure why.
[00:38] * Purple_Kay nods. "Yeah, Doc this is Missile Rush. He helped us scrounge up the parts. I'm sure he's here to take his turn."
[00:38] * Missile_Rush looks pretty bad. Nonetheless, he stands there silently, waiting. He nods to Purple_Kay. "I am."
[00:38] <TenMihara|GM>  (Oops *Silver)
[00:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver nods; "Alright then. What about the costumed kook?"
[00:39] * The_Batmare shakes her head, "I am fine."
[00:42] <TenMihara|GM>  SIlver smirks; "Afraid of a little enclosed space? Can't blame you really. Razor's turn finishes and all of her physical injuries are mended. Her addiction on the other hoof, not so much
[00:42] * Purple_Kay stretches out on a nearby gurney. He's been contorted in that tube for far too long. Machinegun-like pops ring out as he arcs his back.
[00:43] * Missile_Rush turns to Purple_Kay and silently hands him 60 caps, before turning to Razor's gurney and dropping 60 caps there too.
[00:43] * Jake_Juice trots over to the machine and gets into it whenever Razor comes out of it..
[00:43] * Purple_Kay raises an eyebrow, but isn't one to question someone dropping caps in front of him.
[00:44] <TenMihara|GM>  Jake_Juice is all fixed up after another 10 minutes
[00:44] * Missile_Rush simply heads back in line. He won't explain anything unless anypony asks. At once, he enters the Auto-Doc himself.
[00:44] * The_Batmare "I am not afraid..."
[00:44] * Jake_Juice gets out of the machine, shaking his head and feeling as good as new. He trots over to The_Batmare and smiles. "Hey, don't worry about it, you say you're fine, then you're fine."
[00:45] * Razor isn't really sure she liked that treatment. She returns to her resting place and lies back down. She pockets the caps she finds without much word. She won't turn down free cash.
[00:45] * Purple_Kay rolls to his back and stretchs his legs above him. Something he picked up long ago that helped him get mobility back after the scarring. "I don't have a dog in this fight, Bats. But a free healing is a heck of an opportunity to waste. Just sayin'."
[00:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver rolls her eyes; "Of course not; anypony wearing a getup like that ain't afraid of nothin'. 'Specially being called crazy."
[00:47] * The_Batmare narrows her eyes at Silver but says nothing. "I will not waste resources or energy needlessly
[00:49] * Jake_Juice chuckles and shakes his head "You wouldn't be wasting anything by stepping into that auto-doc and healing up hun'."
[00:49] * Razor watches the conversation, slightly disinterested
[00:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Silver laughs; "You're kidding right? You went through all that trouble of fixing this thing, and won't even use it? You're something else lady."
[00:49] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush is also all fixed up
[00:50] * The_Batmare "I am barely injured."
[00:51] * Missile_Rush trots on out. They might notice that Missile actually looks rather shaken by that experience...but immediately, he regains his composure and trots out with a nod to Silver. As he does, he wordlessly hoofs 60 caps to Jake_Juice and 60 caps to The_Batmare before heading back to Stable 69.
[00:51] * Jake_Juice blinks "Okay..." he pockets the caps, blinking a bit. "Wait..."
[00:51] * Purple_Kay decides to do maintenance on his battle saddle before he gets any more comfortable, can't let himself form a habit where he neglects his weapon. He even has tools now!
[00:54] * Razor rests her head back down. The conversation stopped being entertaining.
[00:57] * Jake_Juice "You do realize Razor and P are both over there, and they went with us, right? Where's their share fly-boy?"
[00:57] * Missile_Rush is out of earshot and can't hear Jake_Juice. Besides, he's already given Razor and Purple_Kay their share.
[00:58] * Purple_Kay "He settled up with us, I assume. That, or he just likes giving money away."
[01:00] * Jake_Juice shrugs then looks at The_Batmare "You ready to head out?"
[01:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush returns to Stable 69 to find it much more active now
[01:00] * Missile_Rush heads to the receptionist and places five caps on the counter. "Where is she now?"
[01:01] * The_Batmare nods, "Yes." She heads out and shows Jake_Juice to her perch
[01:02] * Jake_Juice follows after The_Batmare
[01:02] <TenMihara|GM>  The receptionist chuckles; "Ah think Ah saw her last customer leave a few minutes ago. He looked pretty satisfied." She directs Missile_Rush to the stairs
[01:02] * Missile_Rush nods and heads in the direction the receptionist pointed to.
[01:04] * The_Batmare shows Jake_Juice to the rooftop thats her perch and she that she sleeps on, "This is where I watch the streets."
[01:05] * Jake_Juice nods and looks around "Not exactly... cozy... you sleep up here?"
[01:06] * The_Batmare nods, "That is correct."
[01:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Rush proceeds down into the Stable. The entrance seems to be serving as a show point, with a couple of mares and a stallion just standing there looking attractive. Beyond that, Missile_Rush is led to the remodeled Atrium, which looks like a strip club, with various mares pole dancing and shaking their goods in other ponies' faces for a living. Some of the mares are in lingere, others are in costumes
[01:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Doc herself is currently seated by herself, dresses as a naughty nurse

[01:07] * Missile_Rush , unimpressed, looks around for a pegasus mare. He spots Doc and trots over. "So. Another pegasus. Fancy that."
[01:07] * Razor is ready to go back to sleep. She has her eyes closed and head resting between her hooves.
[01:07] * Missile_Rush is, as always, faintly scowling.
[01:08] * Jake_Juice hmms "You know... I could probably find at least like, a mattress or something for you to sleep on if you like. Sleeping on just... roof can't be very comfortable at all hun'."
[01:09] <TenMihara|GM>  Missile_Scowl doesn't seem to be offputting to anypony. The stallion gets a few looks from the mares, and a couple of the stallions, as if sizing him up, seeing who or what he wanted and how much he was willing to spend

[01:10] * Doc looks up at Missile_Rush as he approaced, giving him a quick once-over. "I suppose." She flaps her wings once or twice, smiling. "So, you looking for some featherd action?"

[01:10] * The_Batmare shrugs, "I have slept on worth, and it makes it so I sleep lightly."

[01:11] * Missile_Rush is well aware, but is more concerned with finding out what's going on than in "feathered action". He furrows his brow. "Hardly. I came to question you, as a matter of fact."
[01:12] * Doc raises an eyebrow. "Oh really? What about."
[01:13] * Missile_Rush locks a pair of crimson eyes onto Doc's. "About you, actually. What's another pegasus doing on the ground?"
[01:13] * Jake_Juice chuckles "You're crazy. But you're a great pony. That's hard to find in the wasteland..." he sighs and shakes his head then stares off into the distance, seemingly at nothing.
[01:14] * Doc casts a quick glance around. "Long story. How about we take this somewhere more..." She giggles. "Private?"
[01:14] * Missile_Rush 's own face remains stony. "Define 'private'."
[01:14] * The_Batmare "I do not know why ponies inist I am crazy."
[01:15] <Doc> "Somewhere where our, converation, won't be inturrupted."
[01:16] * Missile_Rush nods. "Fair enough. Where?"
[01:16] * Jake_Juice snps out of his trance and looks back at The_Batmare smirking "Maybe it's because you run around in a super hero outfit and help ponies that might end up being bad ponies?" he snickers.

[01:16] <TenMihara|GM>  A couple of the other mares and one stallion looks disappointed when Missile_Rush passes them over for Doc
[01:17] * Doc smiles and gets up. "One of the back rooms should do nicely."
[01:17] * Missile_Rush glances at the mares behind him and barely stifles his urge to facehoof.
[01:17] * Missile_Rush nods. "Lead the way." He follows Doc.
[01:17] * The_Batmare shrugs, "Compared to what I could being doing, this is far less crazy."
[01:17] * Jake_Juice nods "Indeed. Although I think there's a little bit of crazy in all of us."
[01:18] * Doc flicks her tail across Rush's chin, and leads him into one of the back rooms.
[01:18] * Missile_Rush growls, not at all amused, as he follows Doc.
[01:19] * The_Batmare looks out over the rooftops and shrugs, "Perhaps."
[01:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Said back room is one of the stable living quarters converted into a love nest."

[01:22] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Guess it doesn't matter when you truly think about it... heh. Guess what really matters in the end is that you did something good for the world." he hangs his head and closes his eyes, letting out a sigh.
[01:23] * Doc closes the door, and her demeanor changes abruptly. "Who the hell are you and what do you want with me?" She growls.
[01:24] * The_Batmare nods, "I agree completely. And if you do good, you can inspire others to also do good."
[01:24] * Missile_Rush 's demeanor doesn't change a bit. "I asked you first."
[01:25] * Jake_Juice looks up at The_Batmare, stares at her for a moment, then just laughs.
[01:26] * The_Batmare narrows her eyes, "I do not see the humour in my statement."
[01:26] * Doc snorts. "Name's Doc."
[01:27] * Missile_Rush nods. "I'm Missile Rush. Now, what are you doing here?"
[01:28] <Doc> "Working off a debt. Why the fuck do you care? Or are you just some Enclave agent. I'm surprised they haven't found be yet."
[01:29] * Missile_Rush simply turns silently and shows his cutie mark to Doc. "Does that answer your question?"

[01:31] * Jake_Juice chuckles and shakes his head "Of course you don't... you don't know about the things I've done. The irony is great... and... it's the fact that you're right. The whole reason I came here... was to start a new life." and escape death "To begin again. And... I need to say... thank you. For helping me to do that." he's silent for a moment then goes back to staring out into
[01:31] * Jake_Juice the distance. God damned Batmare.
[01:31] * Doc snorts. "Dashite." She mutters. She glares at Rush. "I still don't see why you care."
[01:32] * Missile_Rush turns back around. "Not quite a Dashite, though I might as well be." He looks straight at Doc. "Is it bad that a pegasus should wonder how another pegasus ended up on the ground? Especially if that pegasus is ground-bound himself?"
[01:33] * Doc raises an eyebrow. "Whoa there cowpony. What do you mean 'not quite a Dashite'?"
[01:33] * The_Batmare stares at Jake_Juice... and tilts her head, "Uh. You are welcome. I am glad I could assist."
[01:33] * Missile_Rush locks eyes at Doc. "Your story for mine?"

[01:35] * Doc shrugs. "Sure." She sits down on the edge of the bed, patting the spot next to her for Rush.
[01:35] * Missile_Rush remains standing. "I'm all ears."
[01:35] * Jake_Juice chuckles at The_Batmare "Right... can I ask you something personal hun'?"
[01:37] * The_Batmare "You may ask whatever you wish, I cannot promise I will answer."
[01:37] * Purple_Kay finds himself unable to sleep. He steals silently out of the clinic to hammer home a coffin nail.
[01:38] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Fair enough. What did you do before... this?"
[01:39] <Doc> "Well, I'm one of a rare breed of surface born Pegasi. My parents were both Dashites, who fled the Enclave and holed up in Seaddle, where I was born. I lived with them in constant fear of an Enclave raid for 20 years, until that fear became a reality." She paused, wiping one of her eyes.
[01:40] * The_Batmare "Like many others I was a scavenge of the corpse of cities that dot the landscape. The great hollow bones of our once great civilisation, I helped to pick them clean."
[01:40] * Missile_Rush 's expression softens somewhat. "Go on."

[01:48] * Missile_Rush nods. "It begins with this." He turns so that Doc sees his cutie mark again. "Take a good look. That's no branding."
[01:48] * Doc looks at it, her eyes widening in surprise. "Holy shit..."
[01:50] * The_Batmare "Perhaps not here, but somewhere.... and I will most likely die before I grow old."
[01:50] * Missile_Rush turns back, nodding. "I won't go into details. Suffice to say it caused quite a stir when it appeared. My father had a choice: He could either send me down below, alone, or send the entire family into exile from the clouds. And my father, ever the pragmatist, chose the former over the latter."
[01:52] * Jake_Juice shrugs and nudges The_Batmare's shoulder with a hoof "Hey, you never know. By that time you'd more than just deserve a break from fighting all of the bad things this place has to throw at yah." he smirks.
[01:52] * Purple_Kay 's last cigarette is somehow not as enjoyable as he expected. Perhaps it's because he was recently on fire. He shudders at the thought. The robot, a gout of flame, Razor sitting next to the destroyed robot. He scrapes the cigarette across the doorframe, saving the back half for later. He contemplates a walk to clear his mind, but decides against it. He turns and disappears back into the clinic. He pauses a momen
[01:53] * Doc nods. "Sounds like the Enclave alright." She mutters, her gaze flicking over Rush's flank before looking back at him.
[01:53] * The_Batmare smiles a little bit but turns it into a frown, "I appreciate the effort but I doubt it. Evil wont wait while I rest."
[01:54] <Purple_Kay> {amending cut off} ...  He pauses a moment to fix the disheveled blanket half covering Razor before giving sleep a second try.
[01:54] * Missile_Rush is looking directly into Doc's eyes with a faint scowl. They are a deep crimson. Some silence passes. "And you ended up in a brothel during all this time? What did you do to end up here?"
[01:55] <Missile_Rush> *Missile's eyes are a deep crimson.
[01:56] * Razor shifts a little in her sleep.
[01:56] * Doc looks straigt back with her deep brown eyes. "Why do you want to know?"
[01:59] * Missile_Rush looks straight back, gaze unwavering, expression still stony. "Because the story of a fellow ground-bound pegasus is bound to be an interesting one. And I need to learn what I can about others in the same position as I am, perhaps even extend some form of help." His voice becomes edged with a subtle anger once more.
[02:03] <Doc> "Well, if you must know, I was simply assisting a junkie with his final request, so to speak. Also known as dropping him from 2000 feet cause he wanted to die since I couldn't do anything to help him."
[02:04] * Missile_Rush 's scowl deepens. "You killed another pony?"
[02:05] * Doc nods. "I've killed more ponies than I care to count kid."
[02:06] * Jake_Juice shakes his head "You've got determination, I'll give yah that hun'." he yawns and shivers a bit. "Not used to being out this late. Well, more like... just haven't done it in a long time." he chuckles "Yah know..." he scootches a bit closer to The_Batmare "I gota say... you're the first mare I've seen that's able to wear something like that and get away with it while still
[02:06] * Jake_Juice looking quite... alluring."
[02:06] * Missile_Rush is still scowling. "Forgive me if I find the word 'kid' demeaning. And why? Why kill them?"
[02:07] * The_Batmare blinks at Jake_Juice. "Uh... I... that is." She pulls her mask down further, "You look cold, perhaps you should go inside."
[02:08] <Doc> "Because most of them are already trying to kill you, or are beyond what my skills can save. Shotgun wounds are pretty nasty."
[02:09] * Missile_Rush locks eyes with Doc again. "I've killed ponies too. But not without reason." His expression lightens somewhat. "So you're saying you never killed anypony who didn't deserve it or need it? How would you ever know it was right?"
[02:09] * Missile_Rush , even as he speaks, knows he's being a hypocrite.
[02:09] * Doc shrugs. "I don't."
[02:10] * Missile_Rush hesitates noticeably. That...that had been something eating at him too. He looks to the side, expression stony as ever, for once having nothing to say.
[02:10] <Doc> "The Wastes are an unforgiving place. If you stop to think about if something's right or not, you'll end up dead."
[02:12] * Jake_Juice laughs "My, you are quite the cutie when flustered hun'. And don't yah worry bout' me. A little cold never killed me..." he taps his chin with a hoof in thought. "Besides if I'm going to be your 'sidekick' I've gota start adjusting my sleep schedule and everything with yours anyways."
[02:14] * Missile_Rush locks eyes with Doc once more, his voice low and bitter. "Don't talk to /me/ about 'unforgiving'." Some silence. "And yet, there must be more to this. There has to be."
[02:14] * The_Batmare "I'm not flustered..." She says under her breath. "And what do you mean by our sleep scheduals..."
[02:16] <Doc> "Sounds like you've seen a lot, and done a lot."
[02:16] * Jake_Juice chuckles and shakes his head "Nothing, nothing. So you were a scavenger, right? Or prospector, whatever term you prefer. Did you always live in the Hoof?"
[02:16] * Missile_Rush nods, his eyes never losing contact with Doc's. "That goes for any pegasus who's ever touched this poisoned ground."
[02:18] * The_Batmare shakes her head, "No, I moved to a place I have never been to be who I am now. I am from... somewhere else."
[02:18] * Jake_Juice hmms? "Somewhere else?"
[02:19] * The_Batmare "Are you familiar with the city of Van Hoover?"
[02:22] * Jake_Juice nods slowly "Yes... yes I am. I don't know much about it, but I know where it's at."
[02:24] * Doc gets up from the bed. "Your eyes are really striking." She said, taking a step forward. "And they're a hell of a lot colder than mine were at your age."
[02:25] * The_Batmare "It is a costal city, was. Not its streets are mostly flooded, and travel is done by boat, or across makeshift bridges between buildings. There are a lot of buildings though, and because it was never hit directly with a megaspell, a lot to scavenege, if you take some risks."
[02:25] * Missile_Rush doesn't move, eyes still locked on Doc. "The eyes of a monster. So I've heard."
[02:26] <Doc> "So, tell me, why are they so cold?"
[02:26] <Doc> "What have /you/ done?"
[02:26] * Jake_Juice mmms and nods "Makes sense. But sounds pretty dangerous... I'd hate to think of what kind of abomination some fish or other sea creatures may've transformed into."
[02:28] * The_Batmare "Yes, you would hate think of it. Going into the ocean proper is a death sentence." She sighs and leans over the edge of the building
[02:31] * Jake_Juice "Heh, yeah, I bet." he sighs and sits down next to The_Batmare, looking down at the street below for a minute "Must get pretty lonely up here every night... as a matter of fact... I can imagine you don't talk to or interact a whole lot with anyone."
[02:32] * Missile_Rush continues to bore his eyes into Doc. There is silence for a full ten seconds before he speaks. "I once killed a band of raiders who were mercilessly torturing a filly and her parents. And then I saw that in my haste that I had killed the parents too." A pause. "It was the filly who called me a monster. She ran away into the wasteland and I never saw what became of her." He closes his eyes. "It is for that reason tha

[02:33] * The_Batmare shrugs, "Loneliness is part of the job... though I appreciate the effort. Thank you."
[02:35] * Doc nods. "I see..."
[02:36] * Jake_Juice chuckles "Hey, no problem sweetheart. I don't think I'll be going anywhere... so you ever want to talk or... feel like you need me for anything, I'll be here."
[02:36] * Missile_Rush 's eyes are closed. He does not respond to Doc's comment.
[02:39] * The_Batmare nods, "Yes... I... thank you. You are a very nice stallion..."
[02:41] * Doc steps closer once more. They're like, really close now. "You need to let go of the past. I've done my share of bad things, but I don't dwell on them." She says quietly.
[02:42] * Missile_Rush 's eyes open and lock onto Doc's once more. "Even as ponies destroy one another and tear families apart?"
[02:42] * Jake_Juice smiles at The_Batmare "You are more than welcome hun.' And you are a very nice mare... a much nicer pony than I could ever be..."
[02:43] * The_Batmare pffts, "Why not? All it takes it effort."
[02:45] <Doc> "Yes, you just have to let go. You'll never get to be a better pony if constantly dwell on the wrongs you have comitted in the past."
[02:45] * Jake_Juice "Heh... I've done some pretty bad things... and I'm afraid there may be times where I may have to do those things again. I certainly hope not... but we can never truly get rid of our past."
[02:47] * The_Batmare "No... no we cannot, but that does not mean our hooves are tied. We still have the future to change things."
[02:47] * Missile_Rush continues to look stonily at Doc. "I cannot forget or forgive what I have done. I must try to redeem myself somehow, and I must do it myself."
[02:49] <Doc> "I understand, but keep what I have told you in mind. I can't force you to change your mind."
[02:50] * Jake_Juice nods "Yeah, I guess you do have a point there.. hmm... let me ask you something, why do you think I'm nice?"
[02:50] * Missile_Rush surveys Doc silently. He gives the very slightest of nods. Some silence, then he speaks. "bear in mind that I have no intention of paying you for any of this."
[02:51] <Doc> "On the contrary, I think you will."
[02:52] * The_Batmare looks over at Jake_Juice, "You are being friendly with me, and helping me on my quest. And you help others."
[02:52] * Missile_Rush faces Doc. "Then consider me an unsatisfied customer who demands a refund."
[02:54] * Doc grins. "There are no refunds." She moves in front of the door.
[02:55] * Missile_Rush raises an eyebrow. "Even if I could offer something better than caps?"
[02:55] <Doc> "Like what?"
[02:56] * Missile_Rush looks at Doc, perfectly serious. "I can get you out of here." He refrains from saying "try".
[02:57] <Doc> "How so?"
[02:58] * Missile_Rush is still looking at Doc. "Caprice has hired a job for me. I can ask for your freedom in exchange." He pauses. "Tell me, how much would you have charged me for our time here?"
[02:59] <Jake_Juice> "Right. I'm friendly, I'm nice to people. And people trust me because of that..." he sighs "I used to have a tendency to use that to my advantage."
[02:59] * The_Batmare "And if you do I'll throw you off a building, but I don't think that will happen."
[03:01] <Doc> "For an hour? Like 150-200 caps."
[03:02] * Jake_Juice blinks "Well that's reassuring... at least the buildings here aren't overly large..." he chuckles. "I'm glad I met you hun'."
[03:02] * Missile_Rush nods. "Then let me cut a deal with you. If I can't convince Caprice to let you go, I'll pay you 250 caps out of my own saddlebags." He raises a hoof, expression still stony. "Are we clear?"
[03:02] * The_Batmare "Uh... yeah. You too." She smiles. "I uh. We should rest. I sleep light, if anything happens."
[03:04] * Doc nods. "Clear as crystal."
[03:05] * Missile_Rush nods. "In that case, meet me in the main room at morning tomorrow. I'll tell you what happens." With that he nods and makes his way to the door.
[03:05] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Yeah... I kinda do too for the most part. I... uh... where do I..."
[03:06] * The_Batmare "Where ever you wish." She lies down.
[03:08] * Jake_Juice shrugs and lies down next to The_Batmare. "If you say so."
[03:09] * Doc smiles. "See you tommorrow."
